Un local con mucho rollo llevado por un muchacho francés encantador y unos cocineros increíbles.El arroz con salmón es una explosión de sabores espectacular y los fideos sin duda los mejores que he probado hasta la fecha.Además cuentan con cerveza artesanal y postres elaboados por ellos,en fin un 10/10!

Great place to have a bite to eat, I opted for the chicken noodles and was delicious, very filling and fresh. Service was quick and attentive. The restaurant itself is quite small and there weren’t too n my any people when I was in but feel when it’s just the atmosphere will be great! It’s a bit dark due to the lighting but all in all, a great place to eat. Simple and affordable menu.

Had craving for Asian food and have red ant noodle bar saved on my list for a while, so decide to give it a go. And it didn’t let us down, ordered three Taiwanese pork belly bao, Korean bimbimba, and Japanese spicy ramen. They were all really good, just not so authentic. I would recommend if we could mix different bao flavour, as the price is all the same, will definitely attract more customer to order and allow customer to be able to taste more. For the pork slice in ramen and bao, it’s a bit too thin, almost can’t really taste the flavour. Over all, I will recommend red ant for those who have craving for Asian dishes.

Great service, great selection of beer and of course, great appetizers and ramen. The quality of the food is spot on. One thing that could be improved is the waitress service during meal to propose new drinks/ follow up on us as it took some time to get the tab. But I'll flag this more as a cultural difference then bad service considering the behaviour was similar in most tapas bar & restaurants we visited during our stay. I'll try to replicate the tofu/pickle steamed bun recipe at home... Simple yet so good.

A hidden gem in the gothic quarter. Great value prices for amazing food. Everything on the menu is great but I recommend the salmon with coconut rice. Quite a small place and it can be hard to find a table once they get busy The staff speak great English and will advise you to come back later if it's full or the kitchen too busy. Also, if you sit on the stools, make sure you sit by the bar as you won't get an AC near the window

La comida estaba rica! Para compartir comimos un Goi cuon de gambas que estaba muy bueno. El plato principal de cada una fue ramen shouy con pollo frito, thai curry verde con langostinos y bimbap de ternera. El ramen estaba exquisito y abundante. El thai estaba bueno pero tienes que pillar el arroz aparte. El bimbap también estaba bueno pero inesperablemente picante. El local era acogedor, pero con pocas mesas y no se puede reservar.

He ido unas cinco o seis veces ya, con eso ya os digo mucho… La comida en general está muy buena, los sabores increíbles, el caldo del ramen y la salsa del bao de pato son para flipar… El local es pequeño y muy acogedor, si está muy lleno es un poco incómodo porque tienes la gente muy pegada a ti. Todo lo que he probado me ha gustado, pero recomiendo especialmente los dos anteriormente mencionados. Los precios dentro de lo habitual de hoy en día están muy bien, por 20€ cenas al completo, con entrantes, principal, bebida, etc… Muy recomendable!

Muy buen restaurante japones. Buen precio y buen servicio. Cómo no hay mucho espacio, mi recomendación es ir muy pronto. Recomiendo probar su tofu a la sal y pimienta.

Traveling around Barcelona and found this hidden gem near my Airbnb. Ordered the Miso Ramen with Fried Chicken, Miso Ramen with Pork Belly and Green Curry Chicken with Rice. Did not put too much expectation as an Asian traveling in Europe for the holidays. To my surprise, the food served at Red Ant is delicious and suitable to my liking. The Ramen noodles are well cooked where it is not too soggy or hard. The ingredients used are very generous and even though there many bamboo shoots, it did not overwhelmed the broth. Last but not least, the Green Curry Chicken is highly recommended and should be eaten with white rice. The extra kafir leaves and coconut milk put into the dish have brought up the flavour which is delicious & authentic! As for the service, the staff is friendly though we did not have much interaction as we can only speak in English. For the decor in the shop, maybe it is abit too dim for my liking but Red Ant is a bar as well that serve IPA Draft Beer which is a plus poinnt for me. Would recommend to if you would like to try the above!

Comida asiática a precio caro. Dentro de la normalidad en pleno centro de Barcelona lastimosamente. Sillas incómodas, faltaban postres i local enfocado para extranjeros.

Desde hace años compramos los mismos fideos char sui los mejores de barcelona Hemos pedido hoy en glovo y han cambiado la receta. Los trozos de cerdo son 90% grassa, hay verduras que antes no estaban y cambian totalmente el sabor y el packaging nuevo es mas pequeño. Parece que quieran hacer la elaboración del plato mas barato, lo cual me pone triste porque es mi plato favorito en toda Barcelona…

I had ramen here for lunch. I already suspected it wouldn’t be spectacular when I saw that the menu had a fusion of cuisines. It was adequate and nothing more. Not bad, just left me indifferent. If you’re looking for something that will neither offend nor delight - this is your place.

Parada obligatoria en Barcelona ya que estábamos de camino. Encontramos el restaurante callejeando por la zona. La ubicación no del todo mala, olvídate de ir en coche. Acceso si vas con carrito bueno, pero el local es pequeño, acogedor y un diseño actual. Hay una camarera bastante amable pero dispersa, puede ser que no fuera su día, porque de lo que pedimos se olvidó de la Gyozas de langostinos, retraso con algunas cosas más.... La comida... He comido mejor, pero lo que no me agradó fue los vasos que nos pusieron, eran de "chatos" osea pequeños los platos que pedimos para servirnos la comida ya que era para compartir, eran más pequeños que los de postre. Siguiendo el hilo de los postres, pedimos mochis, uno de choco y otro de fresa, es cierto que la camarera nos dijo que el de fresa llevaba días y nos dió la opción. No está mal de precio, la calidad se puede mejorar.

Mala comida, peor atención. Ni siquiera merece que se lo compare con un chino de barrio porque sería una ofensa a los chinos. Al leer las reseñas tengo la sensación de que he estado en otro sitio, pero no. Alguien que se precie conocedor de la cocina de Asia no metería en su boca un plato de éstos a menos que sea para " matar el hambre por poco dinero y mientras estás de mochilero". Comes lo que pagas aunque por 7€ hay comida más digna en otros sitios.

Un sitio donde cada año voy 2 o 3 veces cuando empieza la época de frío. Esta última vez ha sido una decepción, han cambiado la receta o el cocinero porque el ramen miso con panceta estaba muy aceitoso, se vuelve muy pesado de comer. Decir también que la panceta es diferente, parecía una panceta ahumada, grasienta y frita. Resultado, una digestión pesadisima hasta el punto de encontrarse mal. No tengo claro que vaya a darles otra oportunidad.

The food was salty. We didn't finish our meals because of this. I specifically went to this restaurant because I wanted soup. I couldn't drink the broth so I just ate some of the noodles. The best part was the cola. The service was just okay. We had better service in most of the other restaurants that we visited in Barcelona. Although the closing time is listed as 1AM, online, it is really 11:30 PM. We went on a Tuesday right before they closed. Other people came in after us based on the hours of operation that is posted online.

Era mi sitio de ramen preferido de Barcelona. Fuimos a cenar y nos pedimos lo de siempre, el ramen miso de panceta. Y no sé por qué había cambiado..la panceta parecía frita y el ramen aceitoso. Nos sentó fatal...Me da mucha pena que un sitio así se eche a perder.
