I was there some months ago... I really don't understand these comments, I enjoyed it a lot! not expensive, good placed, and a magnific paella
Best paella and had a great octopus plate and sure very fresh food One last thing that it mixes poqueria and the ramblas atmosphere too
The paella was great!! The tapas+paella set was inexpensive at all! Strongly recommended!!
Don't know if competitors are trolling here... The food is actually very good, we came back for the sea food paella. Being at the heart of the Rambla, expect touristy prices. The service was excellent. Try the fried pimentos!
Excellent food, amazing service and very friendly staff. The best paella I have had! And definitely recommend the tapas, they have a great variety so there is something for everyone👍👍👌
Seafood just from the market, fresh and delicious! Unfortunately haven’t photo of “mariscada” a big shellfish plate with king prawns, different seashells and even lobster, it is ideal to share with friends!

Hands down the BEST paella I've ever had. And for €14 with tapas. So glad this was our last meal in Barcelona it was truly delicious. Beautifully presented too!
My friend and I were around the area and decided to have paella for dinner. Unfortunately the restaurant we wanted to go was closed so we had to go somewhere else. Initially we didn't want to go in because of the low reviews this place was but DO NOT BE FOOLED, their paella was one of the best I've had in the entire trip. We ordered a seafood paella to share and it was amazing (Y) not too salty and not too fishy. Service was quite good as well. Unfortunately the only complain I have is the washroom because it was quite dirty but the food definitely deserves more credit.

Good food and nice waiters, but the price for 1 drink is €4,50 so a bit expensive. Also free Wi-Fi
The meal it self was great, just take a good look at your check before you pay. You might be paying for stuff not received or ordered.
The food was good especially the mini sea food platter. Service was spotty because one waiter quoted one price and the other said another. Very shady!
Service was decent enough, we were sat at the bar though so might be better than if you are sat at a table. Food was good, tapas was a little expensive for what you got, and the Piella was a little salty but overall not too bad.
As everyone says, everything is expensive. It is definitely "tourist's price". But even though, their service was nice to us Japanese, maybe because they're on some Japanese guide books, and food were good. We could feel something local in their food. (We also tried other tourist's price bar in Barcelona and their food was worse than here) For Japanese 1st visitor, I can recommend to visit this bar only one time, but remember, they are pricey, don't expect local price.
The paella is amazing, a bit expensive compared to nearby places but i would say the chicken paella was worth it, do note though they do charge for the bread though its only around 2.50 euros. Overall, really good food but a bit over priced and not very friendly

Actually not bad decor... But pretty pricey for the food. Sangria was close to €10 a pop. Had this for dinner for 2.
We had dinner here recently, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The service was pretty slow, and while the food was okay, it wasn’t anything special. One thing that stood out was the burrata salad—it came with celery and carrots, which was a bit of a surprise and not really what we were hoping for. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I don’t think I’d recommend this restaurant.
Not worth a stop. The tapas aren't very fresh or even that good. The half chicken (with fries) is very dry and the fries far from being good. The location is great but they haven't really tried to make it a good place. The service is also super slow.
Not such good pizza here, there was too much cheese on it (margarita) and the 4 cheese that my cousin got came with Gorgonzola which was not expected or enjoyed. Normal 4 cheese ones would have all Italian mild cheeses and they should list if there is an exception. Not terrible prices for la rambla and they were able to seat 17 of us

Horrible. The worst service and the worst food. I am American and this is only place in Barcelona I have not tipped. The most expensive crappy meal in this lovely city.
Big Warning!!! A complete rip-off. You will feel completely robbed. The waiter started with excusing himself with "no mea culpa!" It isn't my fault. I only work here. I need a job.
The seafood paella I ordered was just rice with literally two shrimps and one mussel in the middle. On top of that, service is bad.
Bad service and attitude, food not worth the price and tasted bad! First night in Barcelona and super bad experience, big disappointment 🤬
It was very expensive! And they didn't told us that one beer cost about 6,5Euro! And additional Taxes.... It spoiled our hole day...
Do not eat here. Overcharging, overpriced and on top they are using old and stinky ingredients. It's a shame business like this still viable in this place.
Worst customer service and overpriced food in Barcelona. Just be ready for any type of scam cause these guys are ready to rob you!
Hei gays, dont go in this restaurant!!! Very expensive, service is very bad! I really don't like when garson throws plait on the table and ask after that tips!!!
Very low quality food while extremely overpriced. Simply said, it’s a rip-off.
Nice staff. Seafood paella was too salty. Lobster soup was too salty. They pretty much ruined perfectly good seafood. Skip this place or anywhere on La Ramblas
Avoid it at all costs. Typical restaurant to rip off the tourists. The tapas don't only taste bad, they're sitting on the shelf for many hours and the rude staff just heat them in a microwave.
Im neightbour, im sorry this place exists. Their bussiness is charge high price for cheap and frozen food. Im ashame of living in this city this kind of restaurants really exists. Im sorry they make bussiness of decent people who come to visit this country, they should be threated with more dignity and dont take advantadge that people dont know the final price, they dont show you the. Price of the drinks, and they charge 7e for a pint of beer, and 14 for a large one. A bottle for a 375 wine that costs less than 2e the bottle of 700 in the market following the street, this cost here 17e. I walk everyday though the door and I feel sad when i wach the tourist eating there that disgusting food, and knowing they are gone be charge so much that they dont expect. So shame.
Drink glasses were dirty from previous use, including lipstick on the rim. Wait staff were very slow and didn't care at all. Food took a very long time to arrive. Overall, MUCH more expensive than other restaurants in the area for a very bad experience. The icing on the cake was when our server said "tip is not included." No kidding, it's Europe, tipping isn't mandatory, and after incredibly poor service that was just salt in the wound. Avoid.
Paella for one 17 euros. Tapas x2 -13 euros. Coke x2 - 13 euros . WHAT !!!! 13 euros for 2 cokes ??...yes that's true. Total bill 47 euros for 2 on thursday noon....sorry but a big no from me...pls provide drinks menu ..thats where all the fooling you is
Food was ok, staff was quite friendly. Rip-off with the drinks: glasses fit 0,3 l but were billed as 0,5 l for 4,75 EUR each (soft-drinks!).
We got a deal that said it cost 6.99 each but out bill came to 45.00 fit three people got just 3 pintos and they refused to fix the price. is a scam don't come here!
Very heavy food heated in microwave and very high prices. We couldn't eat half of what we ordered because the food was just too greasy. The only positive side was the service. They were quite friendly.
It was the worst experience in Barcelona. The worst service ever. And the restaurant is not safe. My bag was almost taken by a thief, even I was inside of the restaurant. But there was no staff caring about me. Also the price is not cheap but the quality is not good.
Low quality food for high prices. This is a typical tourist trap. Avoid.
The image of the huevos rotos with jamón on the menu does not match reality. The portion is small, especially the amount of ham, which is very little — and this for €12.90.

This was sadly the WORST meal we ate during our week in Barcelona. Assuming that the seafood would be fresh and delicious, as it was adjacent to the MarketHall, was a terrible mistake. The paella and black rice were not fresh, the meat was overcooked and smelled old, the white sangria tasted like citrus juice with white sugar stirred in ( it settled on the bottom of the glass) and the crust on the pizza was soggy. We should have sent it all back and gone somewhere else, but were exhausted. I would rate it as a ZERO if I had the option.
We had ordered 6 paellas with chicken and one paella with sea food. 6 paellas were served on one big pan. Big portion was only 4 times bigger that this one paella with see food. So we paid for 6 portions and received 4 instead. 6 portions and only 5 small pieces of chicken - and half those were bones and chicken. Taste - awful. It's not real paella. It was without taste and rice wasn't boiled enough.
All the tricks to cheat the tourist! One half litter draft beer 7 euros. They charge you few slices of bread and in our case the prices in the bill of the four "tapas" we ordered did not match (not a single one) with the prices in the menu. They claimed that just the evening before the boss changed the prices because they were "too expensive". In the end 2 beers + 4 tapas, 44 euros. Never go!
Absolutely AWFUL and DISGUSTING! Do not go to this place!! They tried to charge us 19€ for some tiny prawns. They made a mistake and charged us again to rectify it. Please choose somewhere else. We spent 75€ there only to go somewhere else after.
First of all, bad service: we were asked to sit on the bar for breakfast, eventhough there weren’t any other clients, and we were told that “the tables are for eating”. Secondly a lot of uncleaned spots. And last but not least, the churros con chocolate…- 1st the hot chocolate was cacao with water, very liquid.., 2nd for 5 small sticks- very small, thin and crispy, and 3rd the price was like double only because of location… Wouldn’t recommend to anyone! Better go to some of the small street bakeries nearby!!!!
Rude and arrogant staff. The seafood served full of sand and dirt. And way overpriced. We ordered the most expensive dish on their menu, and we were served a pile of unwashed junk. To make things worst, they don't even have soap in there toilets, plan for a place to wash your hands after eating here!
My group had a terrible experience here. Food was over priced and honestly disgusting. 3 out if 5 of our party also got food poisoning from the spaghetti bolognaise. I would highly advise people stay away from this establishment. Staff also came across as rude.
Only good thing about this restaurant is that it's close to the market. The food is expensive, bad quality and old. Don't go there. Please save your money. Mcdonalds offers better seafood than this place
We ordered 5 different tapas. Waiter proposed also cold juice. The portions were so small but never mind. The glass of juice was 7 euros. Our total receipt was almost 90 euros. Horrible. It was our last time in that place. I strongly don't recommend this place. And the waiter in a nasty way was pushing us to give him a tip.
This restaurant is the worst place I have visit. I went with my girlfriend for a romantic dinner. Order a seafood paella and grilled octopus. The octopus has no taste and the paella has no seafood. We didn't finished the food, paid $71 dollars for those two plates and went to another restaurant . I strongly believe they have a second overpriced-tourist-menu.
The salat with the goat cheese was tasty, the fried squids were terrible, you could still taste the raw dough, and the black "paella" was standard (nothing special). The price however was tremendous. I've had a LOT better food, for much less money. Would NOT recommend at all, i.e. I would recommend to avoid this restaurant.
