Bello restaurante al mejor estilo catalan, fui en 2017 y espero ir en un mes. La comida perfecta. Todo muy bien, unica recomendacion tener una cartilla en castellano a mano, por favor.

Menú muy bueno de calidad, pero si buscas una escudella, es realmente espectacular. Tan buena que nos dejaron repetir sin coste extra, asi que un 10 para ellos por la calidad y simpatía!

As the name suggests, you will find authentic Catalan food here. I noticed a lot of seasoned locals enjoying the amazing food here, regular patrons perhaps? I would suggest for you to try the Menu del dia (Daily menu) which comes with an appetizer, main dish and a choice of either dessert or coffee. This menu comes with water/sparkling water/wine etc as well. Also, if you don't speak Spanish or Catalan, the menus are available in English, and the waiters/waitresses will happily answer your questions in English. Lovely place, people and food.

Food that makes you feel like at your grandma's. Staff is quick and friendly. You would, probably, have to wait for 10-15 min to get inside, but it's worth it. Panna cotta is a must have. 👌

Cannot describe the taste of all we had here. Amazing true Catalan food.. well cooked and served. They have an fantastic deal that include one half pint of crafted beer, plus an appetizer and the main.. ohh almost forgot ... Includes an espresso too for less than 15 Euros.. The desserts are delicious too. I very strongly recommend.

This place is really a local gem. The food is really good, and they have terrific local options. It is really nice to get the opportunity to eat some Catalan food, really something else than the generic tapas. The service was excellent, we even got to try some free local liquor. The price was surprisingly low, only around 80 euro including multiple (really nice local) beers and other drinks for four people. A terrific place to get a cheap dinner with local food.

My first taste of Catalan food and I enjoyed the set meal at a great price. White wine was excellent - one of best tasting I’ve had in Spain. They don’t speak much English but they do make an effort. Menu is not in English but waiter was kind enough to give us a rough translation. Worst come to worse, just point at what others are having.

Su cocina tradicional catalana te sorprendera mucho chup chup y de calidad. Menú diario 14,95€ Menú fin de semana 17,95€ Pan bebida y postre. Por la noche hay carta. Ambiente agradable y de barrio. Personal amable y simpáticos y profesional. Nosotros hicimos Menú fin de semana lo malo fue que al llegar nos comentaron que del menú faltaban 3 platos. Los postres son caseros y están muy buenos. Repetiremos cuando estemos por la zona seguro.

Buenísima calidad, precios elevados. Restaurante de comida catalana, en la misma plaza Huesca, en la carretera de Sants. Conozco este local desde hace años, y fui por recomendación. El servicio y los empleados son fantásticos, con mucha paciencia y muy profesionales. Además, los cocineros hacen unos platos buenísimos. La comida es elaborada, con platos mayoritariamente típicos de Catalunya, y un acabado inmejorable. Las dos veces que he ido a comer no tengo ninguna queja sobre la calidad en las opciones que ofrecen. Siendo sincero, el único problema que veo, son los precios y las cantidades. No todo podía ser perfecto, puesto que suelen ser platos no muy abundantes a unos precios demasiado inflados. El local en si es normalito, más bien grande y cuenta con una pequeña terraza justo en la entrada del mismo restaurante. Recomendable para probar la gastronomía tan variada y buena que tenemos en tierras catalanas! Pero eso si, preparad el bolsillo porque pica.

Pongo cuatro estrellas por lo amable de la atención, nos sentimos como en casa. Ubicado en uno de los mejores rincones de Sants, a nivel gastronómico estuvo justito esta última vez: comida correcta, pero sin ninguna sorpresa. Cocina casera, eso sí, con buen sabor. Comimos de menú, 12,50€. He de decir que veces anteriores comimos mejor, muy bien, con platos típicamente catalanes además. Un sitio al que seguiremos volviendo, seguro.

Restaurante de comida casera en el barrio de Sants, al lado de plaça Osca. Tiene un menú de Medio día por 12€ que incluye 1 primero y un Segundo, postre y bebida por 12.5€, tienen 4 platos a escoger de cada. Cuenta con comedor interior y con una terraza. La atenció es muy buena, siempre hay mucha gente al mediodía. De primero probé la ensalada de higos y membrillo, estaba buena pero quizá le añadiría algo de condimento como atún, huevo duro, o virutas de jamón. De segundo probé el pastel de berenjena y queso azul, un sabor muy rico. A más se podía acompañar de patatas fritas o patatas alcaliu o ensalada. De postre el pastel de higos estaba muy bueno y la tarta de queso no estaba mal, aunque quizá algo pequeña la ración. Buen menú para probar, es económico y la comida casera

Bonito local y buena cocina. Esta en una zona con mucho ambiente en la plaza Huesca de Sants. La comida muy rica aunque la carta de vinos limitada, cara para la calidad que se ofrecía. El servicio muy serio, parecía que les molestaba que pidiéramos. No lo acabo de entender. Pero comimos bien y volveremos.

Si viajas a visitar Barcelona y quieres probar su gastronomía te recomiendo este sitio, es un restaurante de comida típica catalana. Destaco el bocadillo "Maulet New Wave". Buena calidad-precio (15€/persona). El servicio es rápido y atento.

This is a reasonably nice and reasonably-priced restaurant with a lot of space which is, however, typically busy. The staff is typically 'busy' as well, so, although they're not rude, you often need to put some effort to get their attention. Due to abundance of space and type of cuisine (it's Catalan), the place is great for 'evening outs' with arbitrarily large groups of colleagues and/or friends.

Comedor pequeño, servicio amable. Hemos hecho un menú de mediodía y calidad precio un poco caro para la calidad de la comida. Gazpacho bien, ensalada con el plato caliente por lo que el contraste era raro, tomate un poco pasado, estofado bien, coca de verduras con la base quemada,acompañada con verduras muy grasientas, pechuga rebozada bien lo mejor el timbal de cuscus con pasas, postres sencillos sin nada a destacar.

Well, where to start… my boyfriend and I were looking for places to have lunch near our hotel. As this one seemed to be one with the highest number of reviews and best rated we were quite eager to visit it. We were trying to reserve a table since the first night we arrived. It was impossible, they would always tell us it’s full. Hence, we didn’t want to give up 😃 On the second night we went there, even though via phone they told us it’s full we were hoping to get some drinks at the bar, just to check it out. And we could. While we were there we noticed that on the phone they were telling people it’s full, however people were entering without having a reservation and they were seated. I also noticed that the bar has a bit weird vibe, my boyfriend explained me that they are “independistas” and he showed me several objects in the bar pointing that out. Also, the fact that the staff speaks catalán even though you speak in Spanish to them. (One girl was replying in Spanish, to be completely honest) I respect different political views, but I don’t see the reason to mix that with business nor with food, nor I see the reason to politicize one language. Because with English they do try, but Spanish is what they don’t want to speak. (And for example, I am a foreigner who speaks Spanish, and I do not understand catalán). Needless to say I was quite irritated by that. Honestly, I don’t understand how could a Spanish person feel comfortable there. Anyhow, in spite of all of that we still wanted to try the food, so 2 days later we came again. Aaaand, quite disappointing. The menu of the day included several dishes to choose from, our choices were ensaladilla rusa and sopa de calabacín. For the second dish we took tortilla de patatas. First dishes were ok. Sin más, as Spanish folks would say. Tortilla… well, it could be subjective, because some people like it one way, some other… it wasn’t by my taste. Desserts we chose were a brownie and a chocolate cake with pears if I understood well. Ok. Menu of the day was like 13,95€ if I remember well. However, not a good value for the money. All in all, a place I wouldn’t recommend.

Especie de Erika taberna catalana. Hablas en castellano y te responden siempre en catalán. La comida., mala, esto es conocida catalana? Menos hablar catalán y mejorar en las cocinas que tenéis un restaurante no una Academia de catalán. Solo con ver las fotos os podéis hacer una idea del Gran ambiente que se vive aquí si no eres catalán. En mi caso lleve a mi hija para que comiera comida catalana, todo muy bueno menos lo comentado.
