Una experiencia muy gratificante. Pequeña cafetería/restaurante con mucho encanto. Menús con comida casera japonesa buenísima. Raciones adecuadas. Precio razonable. La atención al público es excepcional. Hay tres tipos de menús de diferente precio. Opción comida vegetariana, vegana y sin gluten. Muy recomendable. Recomiendo ir a primera hora porque suele llenarse enseguida. El aparcamiento por la zona es complicado pero dispones de un parking de pago a 50 metros, en la gasolinera de Plaza Molina. No adecuado para sillas de ruedas, la entrada al local es bajando unos cuantos escalones.

Acogedor lugar para probar comidas y postres caseros japoneses. Vine por primera vez hace un año para probar matchas y dulces y me encantó. Esta vez, probé la comida de los menús y está deliciosa. Pedí Okayo Don y mi compañera Omu Yakisoba (me gustó más el mío :P). Los menús son bastante completos pero nos pedimos más postres por avariciosas. Personal agradable y amable, como siempre <3

Me encanta el menú de mediodía, mi plato favorito es el de curry que tienen a veces. Se puede pedir opción vegetariana. Los tes y pasteles también son deliciosos. Las camareras muy atentas y amables! 10/10

Repostería y comida japonesa de lo más casera y tradicional. No es solo una cafetería; también ofrecen platos fuertes. Destacan por su atención al detalle y presentaciones impecables. El local es acogedor, con luz tenue y un ambiente íntimo, aunque las mesas estén un poco pegadas. Lo mejor: su carta escrita a mano.

The lunch food is absolutely amazing. I had a shrimp tempura that was really delicious. After that, I tried the sesame and fig cheesecake, which was incredible — as well as the matcha tart. On top of that, I had a matcha tea that was delightful. I highly recommend it!

I went to this café 5 months ago when I was visiting Barcelona and I sometimes still think about it. Everything I ate there was absolutely perfect in taste, texture and presentation. I got the hojicha latte, cheesecake, strawberry & red bean paste daifuku and a matcha latte to go. My favorite was the daifuku and the hojicha was so comforting and the perfect balance between the roasted tea flavor and subtle sweetness. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. The lady that I talked to was extremely sweet and patient. The space is cozy and welcoming. If I lived in Barcelona you would find me here at least once a month.

All the ladies that served us were so kind and with a wide smile, just great service. They didn't have many vegetarian options, but what I had was great. And they have many dessert options.

Very nice Japanese style restaurant/cafe. I enjoyed the matcha, gen mai cha, and miso soup. Nice staff. The gen mai cha was amazing and soothing. Matcha was also very good not amazing but good. The miso soup was great and flavorful. Environment was comfortable. Didn’t like how close the tables were and that there was no wifi. Besides this very good cafe.

Very cute and cozy authentic Japanese cafe. Pretty interior design. Very delicious drinks and nice desserts however, if you have a big sweet tooth note that the desserts are not very sweet. The Hochija tea and Matcha pound cake are a definite must try.

Wonderful place. Vegan menu on demand, is 3€ more expensive as they make something special, very much worth it. Lovely ladies working there. Great tea and coffee (soy and oat milk available). Will definitely come back. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of my main dish, cold udon with seaweed and lovely thinly cut tempura vegetables.

Have been there twice and there will be more times for sure. They’re very friendly and the food is good, like something moms make. The desserts are very good as well with various choices. If it’s summer, highly recommend trying the matcha shaved ice. The short cake is one of my favorite. Matcha cheese cake is good but imo the matcha flavor is not so strong, more on a side that a non-matcha lover can accept as well.

Beautiful Japanese cafe hidden in a mezzanine in the upper side of Barcelona. Every dessert is worth trying n repeating. Any pastry or drink in matcha flavor is a must and you can tell it’s the high quality matcha. The place is quite peaceful and service is great. They serve tasty Japanese lunch as well. Perfect for a date or small group gathering in the afternoon. Better than high tea I can guarantee.

Absolutely fantastic place - the ambiance teleports you to Japan. The service is great and attentive. The food is beyond delicious and it has proper umami 🤤🤤 I highly recommend the karaage chicken, gomo-miso udon and the hamburger. Beyond these classics, the matcha frappe is a must!!!

My favorite Japanese cafe in Barcelona. So far the most authentic Japanese dessert and tea selection I can find in Barcelona. Personal recommendation would be the matcha flavored dessert:p The interior and kitchenware is also very Japanese style. Love it!

Ambience is quiet, relaxing and service could not be better - attentive, caring without being too interruptive. It's kind of tricky to find authentic japanese places in Barcelona due to the amount of japanese venues that opened lately, but this place is as true as it gets. The price is more than acceptable for that quality and the menu items are varied - I went with a group of friends and we tried the japanese burger, the katsu don and the gyozas. Everything was simply so good and cooked to perfection.

Great and very authentic Japanese tea and coffee shop. They have really delicious and mouth-watering typical Japanese sweets and desserts that can be perfectly paired with a good variety of teas. Also for lunch they offer a menu that despite being limited, the food is also delicious. Very recomendable. They also take custom orders in certain ocasions or with previous agreement with them.

Local acogedor y tranquilo. El matcha muy bueno , suave y cremoso, el cotton cheese cake muy suave y el otro cheese cake de yuzu y pasas muy rico tambien. La soda de melon con helado de vainilla y muy buena, me sorprendio por su originalidad refrescante y nada empalagosa. Me quede con ganas de provar el melon pan a ver se en la proxima visita consigo provarlo.

Tras bajar un par de escaleras a pie de calle entras en este acogedor local donde no sólo ofrecen café, té y repostería japonesa sino también menú de mediodía. En la barra tienen expuesta varias opciones de repostería cada cual con mejor pinta. Todo muy apetecible! Esta vez opté por un Café latte

Lugar súper acogedor y muy bonito, todo está muy bien decorado. La atención al cliente es excelente. El matcha latte deliciso, y el cheescake perfecto. Lo malo ha sido lo ruidoso que ha sido, si hay mucha gente hay mucho ruido y es molesto, por lo otro todo perfecto!

Buen y peculiar lugar de comida japonesa de elaboración muy casera y de una amplia variedad de postres , tartas y bebidas atípicas dentro de esta cultura oriental. Bastante concurrido siempre pero merece la pena por la experiencia. La tarta de queso no era nada especial. Tendré que darle una nueva oportunidad para probar nuevas cosas.

Llevo 7 años siendo cliente de Usagui porque la comida está buenísima, aunque todas y cada una de las veces que he ido he tenido algún pequeño problema, de malentendidos, sobretodo por la barrera del idioma, aún así pensaba que la comida lo compensaba todo, hasta el día de hoy, que habiendo hecho una reserva para cuatro nos habían dejado solo “reservado” un pequeño rincón de la mesa grande, teniendo que comer con otros clientes de cara a cara, ni si quiera podíamos estar uno delante de otro… al pedirles otra ubicación nos comentaron que esperamos, dejándonos olvidados sin darnos una previsión de tiempo, las mesas se vaciaban y las ocupaban nuevas personas y a nosotros no nos decían nada. Después de un buen rato preguntamos y lo único que hicieron fue mirarse entre ellas sin dar ninguna respuesta. Lo que más me decepcionó fueron las pocas ganas de resolver la situación, esperando que nosotros nos marcháramos por nuestra cuenta porque parecíamos una molestia.

Hoy al mediodía almorzamos en el restaurante. Después de comer, vimos que el pastel de la mesa de al lado tenía muy buena pinta, así que al pagar también pedimos un trozo para llevar. Sin embargo, al llegar a casa descubrimos que el tamaño del pastel era solo la mitad del que habían servido en la mesa de al lado. Un trozo tan pequeño, del tamaño de un bombón de chocolate, cuesta 6.8 EUROS. Además, para llevar solo nos dieron una bolsa de papel, mientras que al cliente anterior le entregaron una caja blanca de pastel muy elegante. La dueña del local fue muy amable, pero la actitud discriminatoria de la persona que cortó el pastel resulta realmente desagradable. Esta es la cuarta vez que venimos aquí a almorzar. Cada vez siempre pedimos un trozo de pastel para llevar, pero esta vez realmente nos ha decepcionado mucho.
