Trattoria del Giardino (Da Danilo) A wonderful discovery! We stumbled upon this place yesterday by pure chance, and thank goodness! The place was packed, but luck was on our side: they quickly gave us two seats from a table that had skipped the table. Boy, did we leave... shocked? The quality of the food is impressive. We had five mixed appetizers, two first courses, and the inevitable Piedmontese fritto misto, which is legendary. Dessert and coffee included... Everything was spectacular! The welcome and service were impeccable, they make you feel at home. Thank you, Danilo. And the real surprise was the bill: the final price was ridiculously low for the quantity and quality of what we ate and drank. We were pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely be back, perhaps booking ahead!

We arrived by chance...but we'll definitely be back!!! The atmosphere is informal, made warm and welcoming by the kindness of the wait staff... There's not much choice (but we arrived late). Two starters and three main courses isn't bad, though... But above all, everything was excellent!!! With a mixed appetizer and a main course, I couldn't finish dessert! Truly excellent! And super fast...

An incredible experience! Classic Piedmontese cuisine of excellent quality, excellent value for money, simple service, but delivered by kind and very fast staff who worked tirelessly for us and always with a smile. We were 30 people celebrating a very informal wedding, and we were all very satisfied. I recommend coming here.

We ate at this trattoria on Saturday for lunch, a weekday, with patrons on their lunch break. There are plenty of free parking spaces around the restaurant, some with parking discs, so be careful. Inside, the restaurant has only one bathroom (always stocked with soap and toilet paper), and in addition to the dining room, there's an outdoor terrace that's open in the summer. The restaurant is very popular (and rightly so), so it's best to book ahead, knowing you'll need some patience both waiting for a table to become available and receiving the dishes, which the staff rushes to distribute to all the tables, always with a smile. There was no set menu, nor was there an à la carte menu displayed: the available dishes are listed verbally by the waitresses and varied as needed (e.g., the mixed appetizers can be customized to your liking). This is a Piedmontese trattoria, so avoiding meat and garlic could significantly reduce the number of dishes available. Among the appetizers, we tried tomini al verde, veal with tuna sauce, pickled vegetables, and tongue. It was a great start: everything served was fresh and authentic, perfectly homemade. This was followed by the house-made agnolotti (also very good), then different meat-based main courses for each guest (roast, veal bites, and Milanese, all with a side of potatoes and spinach). Everything was delicious, and the meat was of good quality. For dessert, since we were there for a birthday, we requested and brought a cake from outside, which they kindly allowed us to eat at the table. Contrary to some reviews, we weren't offered second helpings, but the portions were large enough to leave us feeling more than full. The bread was fresh, the water was opened in a glass bottle at the table, and the house wine and coffee were standard fare. The final bill was a very pleasant surprise, in keeping with a business lunch, but far more than fair considering the quality and quantity of what we ate. This, combined with the kindness of the staff, undoubtedly explains the crowds at this restaurant, which is rather anonymous on the outside, but definitely worth revisiting the next time you're in the area.
