Fantastic restaurant! The food was absolutely perfect, and the welcome along with the service was top-notch. The menu is thoughtfully curated with great options. There's also an impressive selection of drinks. Overall, an amazing dining experience – highly recommend!

We arrived about 20 minutes before opening, and instead of turning us away, they welcomed us in and let us enjoy a drink while we waited. Ryan, the young bartender, impressed me immediately — he carried himself with the professionalism, kindness, and courtesy of someone far beyond his years. The food? Outstanding. Every bite was nothing short of amazing. During my stay in the area for a few days with my family, this place was hands-down the highlight of our trip. Brian another bartender was nothing but attentive . Thank you !! They even gave me a hat and shirt If you’re in town and want a great dining experience, this is the spot to be. And for the record — I DO NOT recommend Crescent Beach Club for anything.

Outstanding! We only went for lunch but everything came fresh, hot, and was delicious. We will be back.

We came here on our small getaway with my husband on his birthday. It was a Saturday night, and of course, i didn't make reservations ahead of time, thinking that Long Island is not so busy as the rest of NYC. We got lucky and got seated as a walk-ins at 6 pm, with the time frame to leave by 8 pm. Which was more than enough time for us. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly, with a nice personality. We did not order the main course, but we got a couple of starters, one side, and 2 drinks. The lobster biscque is the BEST i ever had in my life. I wanted to order the second plate, but Im glad i did not. Grilled octopus was huge and super delicious. The rest of the food was also great. And it was a big portion considering that it was all starters. Drinks were ok. We ordered special cocktails from the menu, and they were not as impressive as food. They were very strong and not too flavorful. But maybe i just made the wrong choice of a cocktail. Also, almost in the end, we noticed that every table was getting bread with butter in the beginning, and we did not get any. And it looked really yammy. We mentioned it to our waitress, and she was so kind to wrap up some bread and butter with herbs for us. And it was so delicious just as we imagined it. So i just want to say a big thank you to her, I did not catch her name, but she will know. And big thank you to everyone who makes that place so wonderful and delicious. Will definitely come back again to have more of that lobster bisque.

Drove to Bayville in Oyster Bay, Nassau County to visit Schultzy’s Seafood Restaurant for dinner 3months agp. Every single food we ordered was 100% excellent! For starters, we ordered the Fresh North Shore Fire Roasted Oysters 🦪 , main course were Seafood Fra Diavolo with Linguini, one of their specials Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna with Mashed potatoes, Pan Seared Halibut with spinach and my daughter had the Mac n Cheese & a plate of fries. Place was packed and we’re not surprised. Food was seriously GOOD! Seafood was fresh and very tasty. We truly enjoyed each and every dish we ordered. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👏🏽 👏🏽 it was worth the 25 mile drive from Queens.

Amazing seafood pasta and ambiance at this Bayville Italian restaurant! Definitely recommend trying their New England clam chowder as well, I will be coming back soon for more of their super fresh seafood and friendly service.

Charming and cozy. Absolutely the best seafood in the area! Lovely family owned and local Mussels, raw bar, lobster, and fire roasted oysters are extremely delicious along with everything here! One of my all time favorite restaurants.

The dinning area is just the right size to allow the staff to be attentive. There was plenty of available parking for a short walk on spacious sidewalks. The staff members were upbeat and helpful for an out of towner. The quality was that of a high end restaurant with a lower key feel. The food was priced reasonably with generous portions for fresh seafood. The small town feel made us feel right at home with the owner/operator Jimmy and his family like staff. We visited on a Saturday when we got in and enjoyed it so much we went back on Monday evening. We had a father daughter wait staff for lunch on Saturday and were super impressed with how engaged and attentive the younger members were. Please don’t take our word for it, try it for yourself!

The seared tuna special at Schultzy’s was incredible! The freshest and most perfect tuna I have had in the USA. My family and I lived in Japan for several years and had exceptional tuna of this quality fairly regularly. In the states not so much. The owners of Schultzy’s are very “hands-on” and it is evident in the spectacular oysters, shrimp, raw little necks, lobster and super delicious backed stuffed clams. This is not your typical suburban seafood place - it is world class. We went twice this week and will be back in a few days!

Schulty’s Restaraunt in Bayville, NY. A true taste of the Long Island Sound. We had lobster roll, lobster stuffed with crab, local Pine Island Oyster Bay oysters and duck. The lobster was sweet like candy, never tasted a fresher oyster and the duck was juicy with lovely skin that was not over cooked. Atmosphere is upbeat including locals and visitors like us. The owners James and his wife are super friendly. James even gave us a ride back to the dock when Uber didn’t show up.

This was my first visit. I can't say enough on how good this place is. Drinks, Apps and Main courses were all above and beyond expectations. Make a reservation and get here early. We had clams on the half shell, crab cake, black sea bass and the stuffed lobster. I was so excited I forgot take the pictures before I started. It was that good.

Maybe the best restaurant I've ever been to. Not fancy, not pretentious. Just high quality, friendly and awesome. Coming back as soon as I can!

Cozy and friendly spot in Bayville. Small menu curated well with some great seafood selections. We had oysters, the shrimp Po boy, and the clam chowder and all were superb. Service was informative and professional and just plain pleasant. Look forward to returning.

Had the most wonderful luncheon with 8 friends. We were given an oyster/clam shucking lesson, then enjoyed them all with several different toppings- the cilantro one was different and delicious. We watched and learned how to prepare and make both cold and hot lobster rolls that were unbelievable! The clam chowder was perfect on a cold day. We then indulged in fish and shrimp tacos that are worthy of another visit very soon. I also enjoyed the best Bloody Mary I’ve had in a long time . Jimmy and the entire staff made us feel like we’ve been friends forever. Can’t wait to return!!

Literally a hidden gem. Shrimp and grits is a MUST GET YALL LISTEN TO ME NOW. You won’t regret it. Insanely good brunch

We had Frank and his guys recently cater a raw bar at our wedding at the Sayville Yacht Club…..people are still raving over it!!! Thank you so much you nailed it!!!!! We will be in to pay you a visit

Everything was great, clams in the half shell, lobster roll and to die for seafood fra Diablo! Service was excellent, a definite go to when were in town.

What an absolute gem!! Not only was the food incredibly delicious, the service was tops! The owner came to introduce himself to us & couldn’t have been more gracious! This spot should definitely be on your list if you are in the Bayville area or if u not it is certainly worth the trip!

Even though it is a seafood restaurant, they do have one of the best burgers you could ask for at a restaurant. If you are lucky enough to be there when they have the Philly Cheesesteak on special, ORDER IT!

Every time I come to Schultzy’s it’s almost like a warm familial welcome. This spot is truly the heart of Bayville. Family run, family oriented. Amazing oysters, great drinks. You can not beat a visit here.

Such a great find and restaurant. Good food, nice ambience. Everything is well prepared. Had the fish sandwich, partner had chowder and chicken wrap, delicious! Very accommodating.

Stopped in for lunch as we’re passing through town and I will come back out of my way just to come here again. The food was so fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable. Wish I wasn’t so full to keep ordering.

Absolutely loved everything about this place, the food, atmosphere, and especially the service. John and Jimmy were nothing but amazing. We got the lobster roll (Maine and Connecticut), the crispy spicy tuna rice, the lobster Mac and cheese, and the affogato. Everything was phenomenal and could not recommend this place enough!

Sorry we waited so long to come to Schultzy's! Always heard good things, but never made it here. Absolutely outstanding experience. Food was delicious, served piping hot. Baked clams were off the charts. Sea Scallops over Risotto was amazing. All our dishes were terrific. Nice sized portions. Service was outstanding as well. A little pricey but well worth it for the quality. Will happily eat here again.

I never write reviews but I was compelled to write a review because of such exceptional experience. Epic! Stumbled in on a rainy Sunday looking for a meal for a party of 10 from out of state. We were welcomed in by everyone at the bar, including the owner, Jimmy, who happily accommodated our large group. Food and drinks were top notch. It was Cheers meets Michelin star. It was evident that everyone in the restaurant was happy to be there, as were we. Got to know the owner and his family and already made a reservation for next year! Absolutely exceeded our expectations!

Fantastic small seafood restaurant. Cozy & friendly with amazing food. I had the lobster bisque which was outstanding! The lobster Benedict was great and the standout at the table was my dates lobster grilled cheese sandwich. Had a great experience

Great place. The oysters were very fresh and the soups were amazing. Great atmosphere and even though we were out of towners we were treated like locals.

Was there several days ago, great experience!!! Excellent baked clams and fried calamari. Dinners were great and the dessert selection is wonderful. Very good service at this local place. Will be going back again soon.

I recently catered a lobster bake. Jim and his crew were fantastic. Very responsive. Flexible. Food was delicious start to finish. All of my guests commented on the food. One of my guests book an event on the spot. Would do it again!

We visited Schultzy's on St Patrick's Day evening and it was a lot of fun...I'm not sure if it's a neighborhood bar hitting above its weight class or if it's a sophisticated seafood destination, but we found it to be a refined seafood restaurant and we're already planning our next visit. All our dishes were very good and as described and we are looking forward to trying different dishes including the paella, which wasn't available the night we visited. Very good.

Schultzy’s is truly a gem in Oyster Bay and one of our absolute go-to spots! From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Jimmy, the owner, is awesome—his hospitality and care for the place make it such a standout. The staff here is fantastic. Cory and John are exceptional bartenders who always deliver top-notch service with a smile. They add so much to the friendly and relaxed vibe of the restaurant. As for the food—it’s incredible! The seafood is the freshest you’ll find, and the tuna tartare is hands down one of my favorites. If you’re lucky enough to catch the duck tacos special, don’t miss it—they’re phenomenal! The menu consistently impresses, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in every dish. Schultzy’s is a true neighborhood spot that combines great food, a fantastic team, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great experience!

The wife and I have been 3 times- best hidden gem on the north shore. Next to 2spring, it's probably the best American-ish restaurant in Nassau county. Don't sleep on the wings or the wedge- both KILLERS. Cozy with exceptional service. It's like if Cheers also had a Michelin star

The interior is a bit small, but we arrived early so had no issue getting a table. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and friendly. I started with the shrimp allajillo appetizer which was savory. Make sure you get extra bread for dipping the sauce! For my entree I ordered the seafood fra Diavolo. I like mine extra spicy so I asked and they accommodated. It was filled with clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari. I almost couldn't finish it...almost! Very enjoyable meal, can't wait to return and try another dish.

Great place. The owner and his son are so nice! The food is excellent.

First time there, everything was great. Second time not so much. Fish sandwich that was ordered only had two small pieces and the rest was mayo and red onion, and lettuce probably won’t go back.
