The Eden Plant Garden inside Post Houston is a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary. It offers an amazing, curated selection of lush plants and unique pottery. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. It's the perfect urban escape for plant lovers
I had a matcha Latte with oat milk and my husband had a regular latte with oat milk and we split a banana bread. This area is beautiful with the coffee shop in the middle. There is also an event center there on another side of the building. They also have a food court area that was not opened until later. But lots of options . Definitely recommend this place. Close to Houston Hobby airport.
Love Eden Plant Co., all of the staff is pretty friendly and very helpful when it comes to explaining the menu. Their Matcha & Coffee is really good. Would definitely recommend getting extra sweet. and as a bonus, they sell flowers & plants !
Outstanding drinks and even better service. Thank you to Irvin and the entire team for making us feel so welcome. I’m a coffee shop owner from El Paso visiting town for the Specialty Coffee Expo with our leadership team, and we were all so impressed and happy we stopped by. Wishing this business continued success! If you’re ever in El Paso, your drinks at Glia’s are on us. Thank you
Definitely worth checking out. Very nice people and service. Went here with my 7 year old daughter to check out the plants and try the coffee. The coffee was delicious and my daughter had a blast checking out the plants. Very chill and relaxing atmosphere. They don't have food there but the place right next door has the best pizza in a 1 mile radius.
Absolutely loved it here! The atmosphere is 10/10. You can buy custom made bouquets. The black coffee is really good and they have so many different flavor options. So unique and the vibes were vibbbbingggg! You do have to pay for parking. But we love love loved it! 20/10!
What is this little place!! Wasn’t sure at first from outside, but as soon as I stepped in I was amazed! This place is incredible! Never had this experience before but it makes so much sense! Coffee and green plants 🌱 Super uplifting! And masterfully crafted honey cinnamon capp! But if you are looking for food food, this aint your place! Just pastries, but they do look great 👍🏽
A great place to get matcha, it was very good. AZ & Marvin were really great at helping me pick out the best option for me and were very kind. Definitely a chill spot with a great atmosphere 10/10 recommended!
I experienced a truly exquisite evening at a charming coffee shop and plant nursery, attended a captivating live jazz concert, and enjoyed a romantic atmosphere. The delightful dessert and coffee options made the experience even more special.
First and foremost I don’t know why they haven’t updated their address besides on their instagram but they moved into the POST Houston. I went to them at their busiest I’d say on a Sunday afternoon. They only had two employees taking orders and making the orders while another watered all the plants. So the wait was to be expected. Besides that their staff is super friendly and hardworking. Onto the actual review of their matcha and coffee. I ordered the iced daydream matcha and my friend got their iced vanilla latte. We both really enjoyed our drinks and will so make the hr drive again to try more things on the menu.
Beautiful store, one of the most incredible atmospheres I've had the pleasure of enjoying a coffee within. The cold brew was really well prepared and had a deep flavor. Could spend all day in this place.
Plants & Coffee - what else could you want? I discovered this place by accident on Google Maps & knew I had to check it out... I loved it! When you walk in, you're greeted by beautiful plants, and I was lucky enough to have the resident cat greet me as well! It's simply beautiful in here. The front has the majority of the plants, with tables hidden in between the bigger floor plants. As you walk further, it opens up to an open area (still plants around!), with more seating. The coffee was quite good, as well. I'm simple & enjoy a basic drip, which they don't have. I got an Americano (same difference, really) & it hit the spot. I went early & a couch was available, so I sat, enjoyed the coffee, plants & overall peaceful vibe of the place. I recommend this place for people who are looking for a break from the normal 'coffeehouse' & want to relax with nature while being still downtown. And yes, the plants are for sale (a little more than I was willing to pay, but that's just me)! I will definitely return!
This is an aesthetic coffee shop inside the Post Market. They sell plants and H Town merch. The decor is very green and felt like being in nature. The honey matcha latte was very tasty. It had just the right amount of sweetness. The service was friendly and fast. It was a nice place to chill and relax.
This coffee spot was delightful, fantastic atmosphere and polite service and the plants looked reasonable priced as well, though I do have no concept of what a snake plant should cost. How much do bananas cost like $10?!?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Eden has truly outdone itself with the new location on Providence. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much more homey, warm, and inviting the space is—it’s the kind of place that instantly makes you want to stay awhile. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful, cozy without feeling crowded, and perfect for relaxing, chatting, or just enjoying a quiet moment with a cup of coffee. The workers are just as amazing as the space itself—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which makes the experience even better. You can tell they care about both the shop and the people who walk through the door. This new location is such an upgrade, and I’ll definitely be going back way more often. Eden has become one of those rare coffee shops that feels like a second home. Highly recommend! ☕️🤍
Love this place at POST!!! Their coffee and matcha is always amazing, customer service is great, and staff is always so friendly and helpful. Love the “garden in the city” feeling whenever I go there. Their first location was in the East End and they closed that one and shifted to POST late 2024 around Nov/Dec. Sadly, they are about to close their second location at POST too just about a year after moving in, and are shifting again for a third time😭 This time, they’re moving to 1123 Providence St, Houston, TX 77002. Where Flamingo Vintage use to be. I went today 12/16/2025, and saw almost all the plants they had at POST are gone, it’s almost completely empty. The plants they had on the Z stairs are also almost all gone. When I notice it looking empty I asked the worker there how come all the plants are gone, that’s when he mentioned that the owner is ending their lease and they’re moving out of POST soon to that other location listed above, it’s about 6-7 minutes away. Really sad to see this place leave from POST. Was one of my favorite spots there, such a zen and peaceful place to relax with friends, and/or get some studying done. Truly a gem and the best and most unique“garden in the city” in all of Houston. You will be missed😭🤍 On the bright side, they’re not closing for good! Can’t wait to visit their new location soon! 🫶🪴
Most of the plants were for sale and there’s a lot! The workers were friendly and funny! We got vanilla matcha sky which was delicious! I got a matcha latte with honey cinnamon syrup which tasted more like chai; less sweet. There was a mixed group of people and a couple families. Parking was limited, though the metro stops nearby.
I went with my family and had a great time. The employee at the coffee shop did an amazing job with our orders. They were so friendly and helpful. I got to order coffee and bread. I was not impressed with the plants they had for sale. I know you’re not suppose to water them frequently but SOME plants did not look happy and soil lacked water. I hope they get better inventory. Additionally, my sister was looking at a plant and when I got to ver vicinity a woman (employee) had approached her. My sister was holding a plant that she was looking at. She ask if she needed help and “I” told her I was looking for Monstera adansonii. She told us she didn’t have that one and she grabbed the plant my sister was looking at and she talked about it. The lady then placed it back on the shelf. She did not give it back to my sister. (My sister told me she was interested in buying it but after her action she decided not to.)After noticing that behavior it made me feel uncomfortable and not purchase at all.
I was visiting Houston and had high hopes for Eden Plant Co as a matcha lover. The space is beautiful—lots of greenery and a cute aesthetic—but the matcha didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I ordered the honey matcha latte, and while the matcha flavor was present, it tasted very basic and I couldn’t detect any honey at all. The drink was fully blended, so it lacked the visual appeal I enjoy, and I wish the matcha flavor had been stronger. At $9.20, it felt overpriced for something that reminded me of a rushed homemade latte. Staff were friendly, and the menu was creative, but overall I left feeling underwhelmed. I wouldn’t return for the matcha, though it’s a nice spot to visit if you’re after a pretty atmosphere.
Pretty place but the coffee was actual trash. Espresso tastes burnt, even watered down by the latte. Syrup had off flavor and they ran out of oat milk. Pastry tasted stale. Latte + pastry was $15 which isn’t that unreasonable, but it is if the stuff you get is inedible. The barista seemed like I was inconveniencing him just for walking up and placing my order. Save your time and go get coffee and pastries at Shakkar in the food hall instead, so much better. I threw away my full coffee and pastry from Eden after a few sips/bites because it was gross.
