House of Grill is a popular spot for Filipino food, known for its home-style taste, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The lunch combos and catering services are highly praised, though some find it pricey. Halo Halo and pancit are must-tries.

The Filipino food there are the bomb I always get the correct career and I always get the cc
It's where I get my pinoy food fix. The only thing i don't like is when the food is gone, it's gone. You'll have to wait until it's made again which is probably an hour or so.
I loved it, the food was fresh and really friendly staff.
Good filipino food. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Very good Filipino food. Always busy .
Great selection of good, tasty food for take out only
Good food and not over priced like others.
Great Filipino food Fair price.
Everything they cook here is really good. The Pancit, sisig, adobo, paksiw, inihaw... all of them delicious. Ube suman is soft and flavorful. The place is kept clean and the staff are all nice.
Food is delicious and fresh... Best Filipino food in the San Fernando valley... Staff are so friendly too.. I highly recommend for catering events, lunch, and dinner!!
Good food . Love the lechon kawali and dinuguan. It brings me back to my home town on how they cooked it. Friendly service with a smile. I'll be coming back for more.
Great tasting Filipino food. They always have pork sisig or bangus sisig. Prepare yourself sometimes with long lines because of the great taste here
Delicious food and definitely a hidden gem! I highly recommend you try the food here, I have no complaints!
Descent amount of food for the price.! One of the best filipino food place in LA! $5 for single entree and two scoops of rice!
Awesome, I've had Persian food all my life and in all sorts of restaurants all over and rate House of Grill as among the best. Thank you for having a great restaurant.
Friendly staff and owner, good filipino food. My wife would like to see a bigger vegetable selection.
Best Filipino food ever! I've had my share and this place beats the rest!
Incredible food. Margot helped us out and was lovey as usual
All this for $9.86 I’d say that’s a good lunch deal! Super friendly staff, helped me with deciding what I should get. Since this is only the second time trying Pilipino food it sure helped. Taste was great too! I got the fish and Beef and liver... I know, but I like trying new things and it tasted great. The place was super clean too, didn’t not look like some other locations I’ve seen around here. I’m definitely coming back for more!
Authentic Filipino food, good portions, reasonable prices. Some indoor seating, but a constant flow of customers. Usually a line, but it moves quickly.
Great spot for some Filipino Food. It’s clean and great customer service! I do recommend their BBQ and Teriyaki Chicken. And for desert, Halo Halo of course! 🤙🏾
Their pancit malabon is a must try. So are their lumpia Shanghai. Affordable prices for Filipino dishes
There food is outstanding. Fresh pork sisig and pancit. 🤗 I only paid 14 bucks for it all.
I will be totally honest, the Halo Halo is AMAZING! I originally came here because, a friend recommend it to me. So now, I recommend it to you.

Great place for a quick lunch. Most people come for the 2 or 3 item lunch combo. Tastes like home cooked Filipino food. The staff is super friendly. Their turon is the best.
I will always come back to this Filipino restaurant. One of my favorite is their “Kare-Kare” with extra Bagoong. They are always full-packed with orders. They should make this place bigger or put another one in Panorama City. Love the food, it feels like home 🏡🥰
still love this place 15 years later.i always get the bbq pork skewers and pork belly with extra sauce on the rice
Delicious! The people working were so friendly and had great recommendations. Everything we got was so good, and the desserts were phenomenal. I will be back for sure. We got sweet and sour fish, a BBQ pork dish, a dish with beef and onion (I forgot the names, I'm sorry), and two of the desserts they recommended one with ube and the other a rice with a cream on top
My favorite Filipino restaurant in the L.A. area. I've been coming since almost a decade ago in my college days. Wonderful customer service. Great variety. Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian options...hefty portions. Remember to tip if you can.
We got food here catered for a party. This is the or 3rd time we have ordered from here and it's always been great. People always ask where we bought the food from during our parties. The prices are fair compared to other Filipino catering places. Service is good and I've never had an issue with the late orders I usually get for catered parties.
I love coming her for breakfast. And pre order food for parties. The food taste good. Taste like home.
Food are always fresh with variety of choices. Great service. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Excellent Filipino food!

Some good people work here. Tasty food and service isn't bad.
One of my favorite fast food Filipino restaurants to go to when I want a quick bite to eat and craving Filipino food. They have a great selection of Filipino dishes especially the popular Filipino dishes. Their BBQ is delicious but my favorite is their sisig. They have regular sigsig and bangnus sigsig which both are great. If you are visiting the restaurant at the end of the work day, you might not have a great selection of items to choose from a they tend to sell out of food fast and they stop cooking after a certain time.
Very good affordable food. Abundant portions. Lady very accommodating
Most definitely great food and beautiful set up on the turo-turo (point-point) window as long as you’re not expecting a cheerful service from the servers. No complaints about the food and atmosphere but maybe they can do better on giving the joyful and enthusiastic welcome and interactions to customers and supporters. Get a little giddy and lively gurlfwends and give us that we’re glad you’re here type of feeling 😃

Good Filipino food, what I like most is their halo halo they make them the traditional way, wish they eliminate the gelatin and put kaong and nata instead, but good nonetheless. The ginataan is also superb. Filipino service with a smile. Awesome!

Food is okay service sucks and they’re rude really bad attitude!!! Soo glad they open up the sea food city!!! Never coming here unless I truly have too!! Bb
If you like Filipino fast food in the SF Valley this is definitely a place to check out. Parking is kinda hard as it sits next to the DMV and they only have one restroom.
My favorite is their Ube halaya! This time I wanted a combination of their Grilled milkfish and squash veggies. The price is $16- a little bit pricey . The lady who got my order is not friendly as if she is having a rough day, the way she asked me as if she is yelling. Hopefully next time , it will be a better experience. The rest of the staff are nice. If you order to go food, they do not provide plates- first time to hear this.

The food is good, however he cashier has a high tendency to short change you.also they violate basically health code by having you give back the spoon you used to sample something, they straight dip it into the next thing you want to sample
Food ok, honestly there's this one woman who works there should be working at a 2nd hand tire shop. It's called food service.
Why is the sinigang meat not so tender?
I had a combo an bbq. All the dishes are cold. The rice is low grade and so cold. The only thing hot was the broth. My brother had pancit malabon and Arroz caldo. They too were cold. By health department, the food temperature shour be no lower than 140 F. Hopefully I don't get sick.
Gave us cold lumpia that had been sitting on counter as a display. Don’t recommend this place. Go to Barrio Fiesta for quality Filipino food
pork barbecue was spoiled and didn’t taste good, very hard.
I bought pansit bihon today and it’s all noodles with just 1 small piece of shrimp and small portion of cabbage, 4 thin strips of carrots & few pieces of baguio beans. 😫

This resturant is very gross. I got food poisoning and threw up so much! The Owner, Cynthia, is so rude to everyone she needs to quit her job & shut down this resturant. I once saw a rat craw through the air vents and the back of the kitchen. There is a lot of bugs & the place is always dirty. It smells so bad in there.
A colleague recommended this Pinoy eatery...Very overpriced! Deceptive false advertising.... Three item combo and lumpia Shanghai,(a dozen) set me back $25.46!! I was advised of the $4.75 charge on them..no issue with those. It says $13.50 for 3 item combo ...do the math..with L.A. sales tax , how does that compute to $25.46? Ripped me off extra $5!! Guess, that'll go to employees...maybe, I, as the customer now am charged Newsom's new wage increase .. Omg! Stingy on the rice, considering 3 items I paid for...probably could've thrown in another scoop. Not like they were going to lose 10 cents on bloody cost. Pompano stew barely had any soup in it and the tiniest fish piece! Just outrageous and they even charged me for sabo...what the heck? Probably charged extra $5 on seafood...might have informed me ahead of paying..just so famished. Did the cashier make an error and overcharged me? I'd just driven from my second home in the mountains and starved! To add insult to injury, there were 2 pieces of hair in the pusit...lady tried to tell me oh.. It's part of the squid!! Did you think I just fell out of a turnip truck? I'm not blind. I must say it was tasty and guess the premium was kinda worth it, less strands of hair. Next time if I'll ever venture that way ( was going to dentist after), I'll go to that place Lillian's ...decent reviews . Valleyites....Thank God I reside in the South Bay and will stick to my Carson hangouts! This place is a rip-off and also frequent Historic Filipino town... Never again!!
