I do not live in Austin County but I love to visit the area. Lots of great family owned businesses here. Today, we visited Galileo’s Mexican Restaurant. Wonderful experience! First off, they offered great customer service. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place was clean. Salsa was really good, especially the green one. I ordered the Galileo’s Fajita plate. Fair prices and generous serving size. Enough to take some home to go with my eggs tomorrow. My husband ordered the California burrito. He enjoyed it. Overall fantastic experience. We hope to be back soon! Great job Galileo’s staff, thanks for the great experience. ✨
Food was very good. Had Fajitas for two! Chicken and beef! Rice and beans with warm wrapped tortillas for each plate. Very nice service. Friendly enviroment!
Best chili con queso bowl! Their chips & queso are the best I’ve ever had even coming from San Antonio, TX.
This was my first visit. While the esthetics of the restaurant need some TLC, the food needs no improvement at all. Noticeably fresh, good flavors. Sampled many items, as usual on first visits. Must tries...Queso Flameado with Chrizo, Fried Avocado with Chicken, and Chunky Guacamole! You can't pass up the Cheese Enchiladas and Crispy Beef Tacos either.
Family owned and great customer service. The people here know how to make you feel welcomed! Food is delicious and the drinks never miss!
Passing on our way thru Bellville came across Galileo's. Food was delicious absolutely recomended!! Left the plate empty!!!

Food is awesome! The smells when you walk through the door will make your mouth water! Great Service and inexpensive! Had a great family lunch! My only complaint is they need to paint the bathroom door it’s gross.

Food was great. Service was excellent. They tolerated my 4 step kids lol. Go here if you have family it's very family friendly. Kids loved the ice cream. Very good for the price.

The Customer Service was great! Food was EVEN BETTER than the Customer Service!!!! Will be making those HOUR AND A HALF DRIVES just to eat HERE again!!! Worth the drive from Houston!!!! The "Papa Nachos" are DELICIOUS 😋🤤
I was in town for business. Stopped by and had the sizzling fajitas. They were good. The young man serving was also good. Filled my used tea and always asked if I was doing good. What didn't sit well with me was that as I got up to pay the lady taking my payment didn't even acknowledge me, didn't ask how the food or service was, she just grabbed my credit card, charged it and not even thank me for coming in. So I thought that was odd.
Stopped by for queso, chips and green sauce for a to go order. Greeted at the counter with a smile when we placed order. They were pretty busy for a Friday night, took about 10 minutes to get our order but it's worth the wait for the scrumptious green sauce!
In the area for business, and decided to stop for lunch. The food was good, portions were nice, and the service was great. I ordered tea, but it tasted swampy (I assume from the local water), so I replaced it with Dr. Pepper. As another reviewer posted, it is definitely a locals' restaurant, because everyone did stare when I walked in, but I ignored the stares, ordered lunch and everything returned to normal.

This is not Mexican food, with the amount of Mexican ppl working in that restaurant you'd think they'd have some authentic tex-mex or Mexican food, nope! If you've never had Mexican then try this place but if you have... just keep looking this ist it.
They were closed! What's up with that? We were very disappointed.
This place is AWFUL. Food, Service & Atmosphere. Food tastes like a frozen dinner. Service absolutely sucks. The waitress never came to our table after delivering the food which wasn't edible. Such a waste of money.
This is not the place I remember growing up. The food is really poor and the service is horrible. They only seemed to attend certain kind of people. Y tienen el nopal en la frente gente!!!!
