Muy buena situación en Benalmádena, con unas vistas maravillosas. La atención buenísima y muy amables y atentos. Mi pareja me quiso hacer una sorpresa y estuvieron muy involucrados y ayudándole desde el principio, os lo agradezco un montón estaba todo maravilloso. Yucas Mare offers a truly lovely view over the ocean, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with a scenic backdrop. I think the portions are fairly generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. During the late morning hours, they serve brunch exclusively, so be aware that you can only order from the brunch menu during this period. It’s a popular place and often full, but even with a queue, you usually get a table within a reasonable time. All in all, a great spot for good food, great views, and warm service.

However, the service could be bette - the waiters weren’t very friendly, and at times, it felt like they didn’t trust us, which was a bit uncomfortable. The location and sea view from this place is stunning and worth coming here for. I would therefore recommend brunch, lunch or early dinner, to enjoy the views. The restaurant itself is more formal, compared with the café on the top floor. The menu is international, with lots of options. We tried the oysters, ceviche, entrecôte and cheesecake, and were not disappointed. Everything was well presented and well balanced. A great spot when being around Benalmadena.

I ignored the 4.1 review and came anyway for the setting on a nice warm evening. Booked an igloo which was perfect, lovely view with no breeze. When it gets darker and cooler they pop on a heater if needed and nice mood lighting. The staff are really lovely and kind. The food exceeded expectations. The portions are very big and the Peruvian chicken was so juicy! We'll be back again.

buen sitio, una comida gustosa , fui con mi pareja y la verdad que todo estuvo muy bien los platos de los que nos llevamos buen sabor de boca fue el sushi dragón roll, sorprendentemente rico, el entrecot de angus con patatas bravas, estas papas muy buenas pero si las cambiaran de asadas a la textura de bravas original estaría mejor, el cóctel mare y el carpaccio de gambas. Un buen ambiente, para estar con tu pareja y disfrutar una rica cena viendo las vistas.

From each floor you have a beautiful view of the ocean. Food: Good quality, tasty and good portion size. El lugar espectacular en vistas. Hacía bastante viento al llegar pero luego se calmó y se estaba de lujo en la terraza con unas vistas muy agradables. Los camareros muy agradables y atentos. La comida, pedimos una ensalada de burrata que no tenía nada especial, y luego dos platos de pulpo al grill, aunque poco o nada grill tenía. Venía sobre una cama de patatas y pimiento y con demasiadas especias por encima. Y el pulpo estaba solamente cocido, nos esperábamos el sabor de la parrilla…

Comento con la intención de que sea una crítica constructiva ya que considero que la calidad y servicio no alcanza el precio y se puede mejorar. Desde el principio se indicó que era un cumpleaños y que se quería el decorado, el cual no hicieron. A no ser de que la maceta que había en todas las mesas fuera la decoración. Al hacer la reserva se preguntó por la tarta y no dieron información sobre nada así que desistimos a este "servicio" (se preguntó por teléfono y las contestaciones fueron desganados, sin interés en decirte las opciones que hay). Pedimos de todo un poco y lo único que estaba pasable era el sushi, pero demasiado caro para lo que es; también se salva el risoto de marisco y la ensalada del bosque. El resto de platos: caros para la calidad que tienen. El pulpo seco, el entrecot no tenía sabor a penas y el tartar de salchichón estaba seco. Es verdad que el sitio es precioso y obviamente no va a ser barato (entre 40€ por 2 platos y 80€/persona con sushi) pero al menos que la calidad merezca la pena. Por otro lado, los platos salieron todos a la vez (lo cual está bien) pero tardaron como una hora en servirlos... También quisiera comentar que en carta indican que el aceite y pan tienen un precio de 1,50€ por persona y luego te lo cobran como "cubiertos". Algo difuso, además de que se cobró por 6 personas cuando solo lo consumieron 2 personas (9€ en total, de propina 6€). En total pagamos 270€ por 6 personas. Son detalles que se pueden corregir y valdría mucho más la pena si lo arreglaran.

Salimos 14 personas profundamente insatisfechas, con la sensación de haber recibido el peor trato que hemos visto en un establecimiento. Desde luego, ni yo ni nadie que conozco volverá jamás. Hay muchos lugares donde el cliente sí es tratado con educación, respeto y profesionalidad. Este, desde luego, no es uno de ellos. Desde el primer minuto, la experiencia fue un absoluto desastre. Nada más llegar a la puerta, el personal nos recibió con malas caras, contestaciones desagradables y una actitud prepotente que nos hizo sentir incómodos incluso antes de sentarnos. En ningún momento hubo educación, amabilidad ni voluntad de atendernos correctamente. A lo largo de la comida, las miradas de desprecio y el trato condescendiente fueron constantes, como si nos estuvieran juzgando por ser personas jóvenes. El ambiente se volvió tan tenso que resultaba imposible disfrutar. Lo más surrealista fue cuando nos pidieron 15€ únicamente por sacar una tarta que habíamos comprado nosotros, y encima exigieron la factura sin habernos avisado previamente de esa norma, no nos parece mal lo de la factura, pero es algo que deben avisar antes, no después de pedir el dinero. Y para rematar, nos dijeron que sin factura no podíamos comerla, después de haberla traído hasta allí. Una falta total de organización, respeto y transparencia.

Fuimos a este restaurante para celebrar nuestro aniversario, pensando que sería una experiencia especial… y fue todo lo contrario. Desde el primer momento, el trato fue pésimo. Nadie nos recibió con una sonrisa ni con un mínimo de amabilidad. Además, aunque habíamos hecho una reserva, nos ofrecieron mesas que no correspondían, como si no les importara en absoluto. El camarero —bajito y gordito, no sé cómo se llama— fue de lo peor. Nos hizo esperar las bebidas al menos 15 minutos, sin ninguna disculpa ni explicación. En un sitio que presume de ser “de lujo”, un servicio así es inaceptable. Pero lo peor vino después: pedí una copa de cava, y el camarero se puso a darme una clase de geografía sobre que el cava es español y el champán es francés, como si yo no lo supiera. En vez de ofrecerme una alternativa amable, adoptó una actitud chulesca y desagradable. Fue muy incómodo, especialmente en una ocasión que se suponía debía ser especial. Más tarde, cuando se liberó una mesa con mejores vistas, mi marido pidió cambiarse, y otra vez el camarero nos salió con una excusa absurda de que estaba “reservada”. Mentira total, porque nadie limpió ni ocupó esa mesa en más de una hora. En resumen: una decepción absoluta. Un sitio que presume de elegante pero con un servicio vergonzoso y un camarero que no debería trabajar de cara al público. No pienso volver ni lo recomendaría a nadie.

We informed them in advance that we would arrive with a small dog, and the igloo reservation was confirmed. However, upon arrival, we were told that dogs were not allowed in the igloos — something that was never communicated beforehand. This lack of organization and transparency completely ruined our evening. The attitude was also unprofessional and dismissive. A very disappointing experience. We would never recommend this place. 🇪🇸 Informamos con antelación que veníamos con un perro pequeño y la reserva del iglú fue confirmada. Sin embargo, al llegar nos dijeron que los perros no estaban permitidos en los iglús — algo que nunca fue comunicado previamente. Esta falta de organización y transparencia arruinó completamente nuestra noche. La actitud también fue poco profesional y distante. Una experiencia muy decepcionante. Nunca lo recomendaríamos.

A terrible experience from start to finish. The welcome was cold, and the staff came across as arrogant and dismissive. We were denied certain tables, while other customers who arrived after us were seated there without issue. This unequal treatment created a deep sense of discomfort and gave the impression of discrimination. On top of that, the food quality does not match the high prices. It’s disappointing that an establishment can still behave this way. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant and hope they take this as an opportunity for serious reflection.

After many years of great experiences this time it wasn't... it became worse over the years. We had asked for a nice table as we had something to celebrate, unfortunately there was some wind/rain so we couldn't sit outside. Instead of a nice table to see the sunset we were in a corner and this was also the problem with the service. We have been there for 2 hours, just for starter and main course. Waiting for 20 minutes each time to order some drinks as the waiters didn't pay attention. After we finished our mains we waited 40 minutes to take our empty plates. This didn't happen and we decided to walk to the counter to pay our bill. The prices are very high compared to Spanish standards, the food is good but the services and ambiance (inside) is not worth the money. Very very unfortunate as this was our favorite restaurant.

I must say I was very disappointed with my experience at yucas mare. I reserved a table for my birthday dinner. As soon as we walked in we were left waiting, the staff weren’t nice at all. We kept getting looked at in not a nice way. The presentation of the food was beautiful but the food was horrible.. I ordered duck which was not cooked and vegetables tastes like they’ve gone off, I couldn’t eat it so I sent it back, the waitress offered to cook it more but my appetite was gone considering the taste made me gag so I said I will just have the desert, but they still charged me for the duck… My family didn’t quite enjoy the food either. I told them it was my birthday and asked if they could put candles in my dessert, when I ordered the dessert they didn’t put any candles, I would of understood if they were busy but they weren’t. The views were beautiful but the atmosphere was uncomfortable. We definitely won’t be returning. I would recommend for the owner to review the quality of the service and food. Such a lovely restaurant but the views and the interior is the only lovely thing about this place
