My favorite Thai restaurant in all of Solano County. Food is fresh, good and prices are reasonable. Real Thai cooks and servers too
Went for lunch. Spot was cozy with plenty of seating and tasty food. I got their Thai iced tea and got a whole carafe! I'm not used to drinking out of a cup like that but it made it fun.
Food was flavorful with Thai spice and heat (spiciness is optional). Food was presented in an appetizing manner and was hot - nothing sat around in the kitchen. Only suggestion for owners would be to block out items on menu they no longer have, if it's a permanent change and second to advise if any items that they don't have when taking order from customers.
Attentive and kind server. We got a red curry and a yellow curry. Both were delicious with a decent sized serving. Rice does cost extra. Bathroom could be a little cleaner. Recommended.
I can't even begin to describe how good the food is here. Sure, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly and attentive, but the food is the real star of the show here. I had the crispy tofu as an appetizer and it just blew me away- crispy and fried on the outside, springy and fresh on the inside, not greasy at all and the sauce that goes with it- simply amazing. I also ordered pad Thai, a dish I've had many times before elsewhere and I have to say that this was probably the freshest tasting presentation of this dish I've ever had- I ate the entire thing! This restaurant is a gem and you should definitely check it out!
I ordered the garlic duo specialty bowl, absolutely wonderful. Veggies are crisp and comes with chicken and shrimp. Shrimp are thoroughly cleaned. Also got the fresh coconut water, served in a coconut!! I'm absolutely enamored with this place. It's going to be my new regular haunt whenever I come to visit.
This was the best Thai I have been to so far, and I've been to many! Their Thai ice tea, Mango Nata, Roti Curry, and Yellow Curry chicken was outstanding! Also service was very friendly and accommodating to our needs! The only criticism is that they include the tip, we wanted to give 25% but because they forced us to give 18% we just gave them what they asked for. Hope they can change that in the future! Besides that it was a perfect experience 😊
Just amazing amazing Thai food, everything was cooked to perfection, good portions and it was all so so spicy (which was the best part)! My boyfriend and I are super spicy food lovers and we ate everything! But don’t worry if you like your dishes on the milder side they have spice levels you can indicate levels 1-5 (we got 4). Everything about this restaurant was just great I really loved the atmosphere and the decor - they have a nice playlist going in the background (a very date night playlist I’d say), and the decor is very traditional (which I enjoy), also their serving plates are so cute and stylish! And not to mention the customer service is so friendly and efficient. Will be coming again and again so happy we found a new favorite Thai food spot on this side of the bridge. Thank you again and keep up the amazing work your team does!
I can't believe I have not reviewed this place yet. I've been eating here for over 15 years. It is Absolutely my favorite restaurant in the Benicia Vallejo Fairfield area. Wait staff is perfect. Food is perfect, quality of ingredients is perfect, and prices are reasonable. The Fried calamari appetizer is to die for, their plum sauce is amazing.
What can I say? I might be in love with the server and her family that own the place...😂 My experiences here have been that rewarding. The food is exceptional. The crusted shrimp dish on the back of the menu is my favorite. The pad Thai is a perfect noodle pairing. Fresh spring roles to start with peanut sauce. Thai tea and Jasmine rice complete the meal. Couldn't be happier. Leftovers for breakfast bonus. Very happy every time I dine here.
Friends took me here last Thursday and the food was amazing. Our waiter was very busy but we never felt neglected. They have a very welcoming atmosphere, so it's nice to relax and not be in a big hurry. Again amazing food and the chef was wonderful. I will return.
We were a party of 5 with a rambunctious toddler we enjoyed our meal and drinks the service was amazing. On the way out my toddler was so impatient her grandmother and her took a walk to the bathroom while the bill was played. there the waitress gave her a toy guitar that helped calm her down. Thank you for that! The food was a amazing!
Went to this place for a office meeting and order the golden crispy prawns... omg it was delicious. If you like spicy foods ask for it to be spicy cause the plate isn't spicy... but I added the spicy sauce and it was very good. Customer service is great the girls are so welcoming and friendly. For sure I'll be going back. Thanks Guys keep up the good work!
Food is always really good, staff is absolutely friendly, this Thai spot is my go to in Benicia!!!
This is a local place for my wife and I. Everything we have ordered has been great. Portions are good and pricing fair. Service is quick and pleasant. Decor is nicely done. Has happy hour pricing on beer and wine. Take a walk on the main street after. Highly recommend.
The food is fantastic! Best Thai food on the West Coast!! The service is outstanding. Very efficient friendly wait staff. The prices are good!
My girl and I recently went here and it was a great dinner. We got there and there wasn't many ppl yet. We ordered the classic Pad Thai, Crispy chicken and Satay for appetizers. My girl loved it and it was her first time eating Thai food. The meat were all tender and cooked to satisfaction in my opinion. The server and staff were all very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere was just perfect for a small place. The price was also not bad at all. It was a great night experience for us.
When we came in, the host mentioned they were closing the kitchen early, so we felt a bit rushed. That said, the food was absolutely incredible—savory and full of flavor. Easily the best Thai food in the East Bay. Highly recommend!
Everything was amazing! I especially loved the crispy duck and pineapple chicken. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!!😊
This restaurant is so bohemian, so cozy! The seating with their cute little cushions I almost wanted to cross my legs and put my feet up. The staff was friendly and nice. We were in a bit of a rush so I asked for a rushed service and our food came right away. Ask and you shall receive. The food still tasted delicious and came out hot and fresh! The roti bread was good and tofu fried rice was delish!!! Oh don’t forget your Thai coffee!!!
We enjoy trying their Yellow Curry with Chicken, the Spring Rolls Appetitzer was delicious, the Thai Ice Tea. All the food was delicious. The ladies that served us were wonderful and kind. Definitely recommend this place.
The girlfriend and I had the spicy eggplant with beef, massaman curry and for starters the Thai roti with curry. All three were delicious. We highly recommend getting the beef with the spicy eggplant since it adds so much to the flavor. The massaman was delicious, but would have been better had we gotten it with beef as well. The Thai roti with curry was very flavorful and is a great start to any meal. I would go there again.
Their red curry is one of the best, most authentic I have tried. Love it, I would eat here weekly or more.
Exceptional service and foods! I recommend to try Drunken Noodle, Tom Yum, and Panang Curry. Basically, so far nothing is missed. Definitely will come back.
Oh wow. The service was very good and the food and Thai tea were amazing. I'm so happy we went there and I do recommend going. You won't be disappointed!
Beautiful place great food that are reasonably priced. I love going back for its Thai Roti Curry.
Popped in for lunch, good service and tasty food, nice place. Half of the restaurant looks like most and half has benches with pillows, and style matching wall art, liked it.
Add the pad Thai in the chicken satay everything was hot fresh I enjoyed it and Would order from there again

Love this place! Food is always delicious and fresh. Many can be made vegan. The place was pretty full and somehow there was only one server - she still did an amazing job and deserves a raise. Looking forward to next time!
Service was a little slow, the dumpling appetizer was a little blah BUT, BUT, BUT... the entrees were absolutely delicious. We had the yellow curry, it was very fragrant and the best tasting curry I've ever had. The Pad See Euw and Bangkok noodles were terrific. Both dishes had amazing sauces that were delicious. Can't wait to go back again (just don't be in a hurry on a Saturday night.)

My friend lives in Benicia and he frequents this restaurant the most because it's one of the best in town. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the Soda machine was broken and I really couldn't quench the thirst I had for the lemonade on the menu. Staff was super friendly and love the art on the walls. Will definitely be going back for the cashew tofu and yellow curry with tofu...Quite delicious and fresh!
Great overall experience. Food was tasty and its nice being on main street downtown.
Understaffed (1 busy server) on the Sunday we visited but... 5-star your Great food, very reasonably priced. Will be back again, for sure. Items labeled spicy are Goldilocks: Not too hot, not too mild, just right!
Nice atmosphere and decor, but I only ordered one item, they gave me something entirely different and acted as if it was my problem. It wasn't even busy at the time, so I was unimpressed. When they finally brought out what I ordered, it was plated very well, but the crispy tofu was good, but pretty much what I've had at most places. The waiter was kind enough to correct my order at no extra charge, so brownie points for that 😊
Was pretty good, didn't care for their spring rolls though which was disappointing for us. Asked for a side of plum sauce and got sweet chili instead... Other than that, we enjoyed our visit. Yummy food, great flavor!
Fresh rolls skin is not soft & fresh but shrimp/Tofu Pai Tai is great. Yellow curry is good, too.

Every time I travel, I always look for a Thai food spot. I came across this place and ordered some food togo. I had chicken fried rice, grilled chicken, and the chicken basil stir fry. I know my Thai food, and this place was just ok. The fried rice was bland. The grilled chicken was actually my favorite, if I had to choose. FYI, each dish, besides the grilled chicken, has a base price, and then you had to choose your protein of choice, which is an extra cost. The stir fry did not come with rice, so you had to order that on the side. Most Thai restaurants I've visited do not charge extra bcuz the dish is supposed to come with protein unless you wanna replace it with seafood. And the entrees should come with rice not be charged for it.
This place used to be really good. I rated it as the best Thai food. Unfortunately seems like things have changed. The spring rolls were horrible. They were plain all u tasted was the iceberg lettuce. The noodles inside the rolls tasted old they were hard to chew. Their spring rolls used to be soooooo good. And we ordered beef noodle soup. The beef peices in their were ready tuff and chewy. Everything else I ordered was good to OK but not what I expected for what they charge

The food just is not good. I keep wishing it was however, and we have tried this place multiple times over the past few years! Every time I think it will be better, but unfortunately the food is just not good. Great location, cute place, nice people, but they just can’t make delicious Thai food. This last time was a painful waste of $50 for two entrees and an appetizer that my husband and I didn’t even want to eat and could not finish because they were that bad. Do yourself a favor and go to Pearl Thai or anywhere else, so you can actually enjoy your meal.
I love Asian food and was excited to try duck from a Thai kitchen in the Bay... It is by far the worst I've had in my life. Frozen, tough and rough to masticate, skin was supposed to be crunchy (a must for the duck!) But it was all spongy. Lots of progress to make. 2 stars because the hot sauce was home made.
Meh. Very expensive. Spice levels all over the place. Overcooked chicken and beef. The prices have gotten outrageous for what you get, they are worse than what we had and paid in Hawaii. The "mild" was extremely hot whereas the "medium" was almost lacking spice. Don't go here, save your money, not worth it.
Avoid if you enjoy food with flavor and seasoning. As a native New Yorker, I would say that NY has one of the best Thai food restaurants. I was in Benicia for Mother’s Day weekend and decided to try this restaurant and immediately regretted it. Everything (duck fried rice, pineapple fried rice with ‘prawns’, Thai fried with ‘prawns’, and fried chicken) lacked flavor.

Food was good, servers were overwhelmed. I came with a group of people, the server took only a few orders and forgot to take the rest of the orders. I had to remind her three times to take the rest of my friends orders. On top of that, the server refused to divide the checks and wanted only one card.
I had lunch there today and will never go back. The dumpling appetizer was good but the lunch went downhill after. We had a crispy chicken that was so dry with no sauce…just a dish of fried dry chicken. We had drunken noodles that were the worse I’ve ever had. I asked for some kind of sauce to make the chicken more palatable and they brought an ice cold sauce from the refrigerator. I’ll never go back
Flavor + chicken tenderness needs work. However, the cream cheese rangoon is perfection. Service quality from each person is great it's just that they're severely underemployed; two people managing massive groups of tables. God bless those two. Atmosphere and restaurant design is clean.
I have been to this restaurant multiple times, but after my recent visit I won't be taking my family back. the new server was really bad, se never came back to check if everything was ok, and when it was time to pay, she didn't even say thank you. The lack of basic customer service made the whole experience feel unprofessional and unwelcoming. Very disappointed after giving this place several chances,
I’ve been a longtime customer of this restaurant and have always loved the food, which is why this review is so disappointing to write. My family and I dined in on Tuesday, 6/10/25 for lunch, and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience that I feel needs to be shared, especially for families considering dining here. From the moment we walked in, the service was cold. The waitress didn’t make eye contact or greet us, she simply pointed to a table and said, “Sit there.” There was no acknowledgment or warmth, which already felt off, especially for regulars like us. I sat my 18 month old next to me and began settling him in while looking over the menu. During this time, the waitress abruptly told my baby to stop making noise because the back of his shoes were lightly tapping the bench. While I was giving her our order, she interrupted twice more to scold my child directly, using a loud and punishing tone. She even extended her arm toward him in a way that felt scolding and intrusive. At no point did she address me as the parent, nor did she give me the space to calm him down myself. It was incredibly embarrassing and upsetting for my entire family. There was only one other customer nearby, who had made no complaint. Her reaction felt excessive, unprofessional, and frankly hostile toward a toddler. This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed her unfriendly demeanor, but this incident crossed a line. We’ve continued returning for the excellent food, but after this experience, I’m not comfortable bringing my family here again, especially my child. It also raises serious concerns about how other families, particularly those with children who have special needs, might be treated. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously. Until then, I can’t recommend this restaurant to families with young children.
