Amazing. Been wanting to go here for ages, but always fully booked. After our meal tonight, I can understand why. Ultra friendly welcome. Tables spaced out comfortably, not crammed in. Table is yours for the night so no rushing. Andrew the waiter is efficient but not intrusive. One of the Ians is a real scream. Menu is extensive. Portions are HUGE. Definitely come with an appetite. Well done guys. A real gem.

Where do i start,Ian’s restaurant surpased our expectations,it was everything we heard and read about and more. Enjoyed a fabulous meal at Ian's a few days ago. Each course was excellent quality, as was the house wine. You will need to book a few weeks in advance as the venue is small and busy, but this does not spoil the ambience at all. The staff are friendly and amusing, really made us feel welcome! Finally, even the background music was great!

We have waited since last year to be lucky enough to get a table and wow it did not disappoint!! From start to finish, the service, the attention to detail, the cosiness and the welcome was first class. These guys have it spot on and know they're trade. We were given complimentary bread/olives whilst waiting for main course, it was beautiful. I had chicken in a Dianne sauce and my husband had fillet steak in peppercorn sauce, we did not want our meal to end, even though we were full, it was cooked to perfection. It was presented beautifully and hot on arrival. For dessert we shared a banoffee pie which was made to Ian's grandma's secret recipe and i wish I knew the secret as it was amazing. From start to finish Ian who served us (as there's 2 Ian's) was brilliant, his little jokes were fun and his attentiveness was spot on. The restaurant is very intimate and cosy but you definitely aren't on top of other diners, the atmosphere is so warm that the place was buzzing with happy people all glad to be there. We are from Crawcrook in Newcastle and not far from where Ian who served us used to live, so we had a lot in common and we laughed a lot when remembering old places that we'd forgotten about and sharing stories about the North East, that's how personal the service was! Thank you to all 3 of you for the warm welcome we received and next time we're in Benidorm my husband already has planned to have the spicy chicken Kiev 😁 ..... As long as we can plan ahead and get a seat 🙏 Keep doing what you're doing!!!

Ladies night out here, the food was absolutely gorgeous, goats cheese and walnut salad was stunning, great place/staff, great gluten free options will definitely return next year.

Where to start? Had an absolutely amazing meal and experience at Ians, believe the hype and get booked in if you find a spot as the waiting list is long but it's worth it. The food was divine, they have specials and can recommend you dishes depending on preference. We had starters and mains and no room for the desserts but saw a few come out and they looked amazing. I had the blue cheese chicken Kiev and it was huge but so good. All dishes are served with a huge veg selection and really tasty fried potatoes. The service, was top notch. Everything came out in good time, there was no long waits despite the restaurant being full and talk about service with a smile. Friendly manner and personal touch and just joyful service from Ian. Honestly it's a must go to restaurant. Highlight of the holiday.

My husband booked a table at Ians as a surprise for my birthday during our recent holiday. It was simply fantastic and more than lived up to all our expectations. From the minute we arrived we were made so welcome and felt like nothing was too much trouble. The food and drinks were amazing and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. A special night and we would highly recommend a visit if you're lucky enough to get booked in. I know we will be back for sure! Thank you so much for a lovely experience.

Booked a table for two in advance, good job as the restaurant was fully booked for the night. A friendly atmosphere and welcome on arrival. Prompt service for drinks, we were advised on the specials and the starters. The starters were delicious, fishcakes and prawns in garlic butter. Main meals fillet beef stroganoff, pork in pepper sauce both delicious. We really wanted a dessert but unfortunately we didn't have the room to fit them in so opted for bailey's coffee and a milky coffee, again both delicious. I had the milky coffee and i have to say it was the best coffee I've found so far in Benidorm. A lovely experience and will definitely revisit next time we are here.

After searching through reviews prior to our holiday we found such favourable reviews about Ian’s we decided to book. We are so glad we did. This is such a fabulous restaurant with a fantastic chef and a wonderful talented warm friendly team/owners. We had the most delicious meal, all four more than happy. The Banoffe Pie was beautiful - naughty but definitely nice. I suggest booking as you book your holiday it’s not the largest restaurant and is popular (for obvious reasons) but it’s worth the effort. Me and my partner had the most amazing meal here last night. We had to book weeks in advance of our visit which speaks volumes and we were not disappointed. The service was very welcoming and spot on. The food was out of this world worn original recipes that were stunning. It was the best fillet steak I have ever had so much so we managed to get a cancellation for 2 days later ans I must say I’m really looking forward to it. Thanks Ian & Ian. X

We booked this back in october. So worth the wait. The 2 men are lovely friendly & ok to get on with. Made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. This has to be the best food i have ever eaten by a mile. Yes i do mean the best in benidorm & it beats any food in uk as well. We are definitely coming back to eat here next year ( just wish we could come back sooner ). Amazing place. See you both next year and thanks

Third time here. Like myself, you probably laughed at the thought of exclusive dining in Benidorm.....even in the more upscale Old Town. Believe it. Like other restaurants of renown where tables are weeks or even months away, Ians' offers something different...... exclusive charm and with food to drool over. Great ambiance, great food and service. Incredible.

We were lucky enough to be added to our friends table last week . The food was superb, ( especially the naughty lemon sorbet) the service excellent and the location couldn't be better. A proper little gem. We will definitely recommend and ofcourse return.

This wonderful little restaurant is an absolute delight to visit. Amazing staff who not only serve you all your needs, but keep you entertained as well with their fantastic humour. The food is on a different scale, excellent ingredients prepared to the highest standard. This was our second visit and we will definitely be visiting again.

4th visit, so an Ian’s convert as it’s a special restaurant, serving excellent food in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. There are simply only good things to say about this restaurant. The quality of food served, the gentle humour and how the small team of staff work exceptionally hard to make every meal special. Fillet steak was amazing (one of the best I’ve ever eaten) and wife’s sirloin was beautifully cooked and presented. Shout out for the lemon sorbet dessert that has a kick from vodka as well as accompanying limoncello. Delicious, but boozy as hell. See you again next time we visit Benidorm.

Definitely the best restaurant in Benidorm by far. The food was amazing and lovely service. I did not ask but i guess they will have a Michelin since they deserve it. Kindly note that you need to book in advance since they take only limited bookings a day. 100% recommended!

Meeted with a welcoming smile and made to feel so relaxed from the start. Never felt rushed or ignored. From starters to desserts 5*.. the fileted Seabass was exceptional, my son could not stop raving about Sirloin steak and the Baileys Cheesecake was heaven. Excellent flavour in king prawns with garlic butter, but sirloin isn’t as tender as you can get compared to the UK although the pepper sauce is tasty. I have never had a good steak in European countries when I travelled so this is the issue with the steak meat itself in Europe not the cooking. Other non-steak dishes looked nice on other tables. Advice is to have other main dishes perhaps not steak.

Superb meal everything the reviews SAY!! My fiance and I dined here this evening. I had high expectations given the reviews. I can honestly say that we were not let down. The service from Ian (front of house) and humour was brilliant. The was delicious, I had garlic prawns followed by chicken Kiev. My fiance had the chicken liver pate followed by fillet steak. Both courses were faultless. Not to mention the complimentary olives, pate, chorizo and bread. My only tip would to be make your portions smaller so that we could even contemplate a dessert after the giant Kiev!! However all in all a fabulous dining experience. Thank you Ian's. And for the tourism advice and taxi afterwards. I will always highly recommend your restaurant.

This has to be in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Benidorm. The food was outstanding, the staff were as equally outstanding making us feel welcome in a relaxing environment. Regarding booking a table there can be a 3 month waiting list so I advise to get in touch well before your visit.

Such a special atmosphere in Ian's, the hosts are amazing and so funny... and on top of that you have some beautiful food that is freshly prepared and tastes unbelievable!!! You have to book months in advance but well worth it.

We went to Ian’s tonight as I’d heard amazing things. We booked months in Advance and I also ordered a fresh lobster. Our food and hosts were amazing. I can’t find a single fault. Apart from I wish I had more belly space. I didn’t have room for a pudding. I’m already looking forwards to going again and making my way through some different items on the menu. Thank you so much for such an amazing night. This is a MUST GO TO for any foodie travelling to Benidorm.

We booked a table here back in February, and yesterday, July 18th, the wait was finally over. What an experience! Not only was the food absolutely heavenly, but the staff were fantastic too. They really make you feel welcome and keep the mood light with their playful sense of humor. Here you’ve got the table for the whole evening, so there’s no need to rush. We had deep-fried brie and chicken for starters, then chicken Kiev for the main course. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted absolutely amazing. For dessert, we went for a selection of ice creams and lemon sorbet. We’ll be back as soon as we can. A huge thank you for an unforgettable evening! Henning & Tone.

Incredible evening spent here for my partner's 50th celebration. We booked well in advance as knew it was popular, and it certainly did not disappoint. both hosts were truly wonderful and served all of our needs perfectly. Food was beautiful, filling, well priced and presented. They decorated our table and made us feel very welcome with fantastic communication throughout. Also very friendly and funny service whilst we dined. Strongly recommend a visit. Many thanks for everything.

It's highly recommended this restaurant and I can see why. Choice to dine outside or inside. Also highly advisable to book a table, I booked ours in December 2024!! So, 6 months later, it was our turn. Warmly greeted by Andy upon arrival and offered a choice of where to sit. Drinks ordered during the evening were served very quickly whether by Andy or Ian. A really lovely, cosy ambience, lots of banter, laughter and enjoyment. We were amazed by the menu and our choices were:- Tom - starters- Goat's Cheese Salad mains - Seabass sweet - Lemon sorbet Neil - starters- Cream of Pea & Ham soup mains - strips of fillet stroganoff sweet - banoffee pie Very, very nice, tasty, plentiful and very good value. We shall return on a future visit.

We had to book months in advance to get a table here. We were not disappointed. The night was more than just a fabulous meal. The banter and one-liners were hilarious. Book in advance! I booked our table 2 months before & they only had one left. Maybe because it was a Saturday night in December. It was our Anniversary dinner, I think most people go here for a special occasion. We were a little late so turned up stressed but they put us at ease quickly, the Geordie server was lovely. Free appetiser of pate which I don't usually like but theirs was probably the best I've ever tried. Smooth & tasty. The star for me was my mussels starter, great portion & morish. The only thing is I probably needed some bread to soak up all that delicious sauce. My partner had the salmon fish cakes but preferred my mussels too. His favourite course was his main, sirloin steak in peppercorn sauce. I'm not a fan of steaks but had a taste, good quality meat & another tasty sauce. I had the prawns in garlic butter, I enjoyed them, my side salad & the potatoes but the veg sides didn't add much to it plus the cauliflower was hard. I wanted to try their Bailey's cheesecake but we were too stuffed. It was a nice touch that they had irn bru available. The toilets were quite small with a big sink, I'd rethink that as it's not great for plus sized people. I like how they & other local businesses like Sherry's look after the stray cats. Loved the old picture of Benidorm too.
