Everything was impressive, from the service to the delicious dishes and wine. I highly recommend the beef tartare and seafood. The sangria is simply amazing. Gourmets will definitely find something to please themselves with in this restaurant. Especially since the chef Pedro Grass of this restaurant has Michelin stars.

I would like to just say that this is the best restaurant in my life where I eat. Everything is still very fresh and a very big portions. Service here is the word Class. Josemi helped us in everything what we needed. He’s a very good guy. If you wanted to eat traditional Spanish food you have to go here it was a great experience for both of us to eat such a delicious food . We recommend it to everybody just try it it is amazing food.

We had our anniversary Dinner there. Absolutely first class. We were early diner's, but the staff were lovely. Starters, then a rest before the main course. We needed that as the the starter's were huge, on to mains, suckling pig. Crispy skin, soft flesh underneath . We were so full we could not manage desert. However they gave us a one to take away on the house. What a great effort. Without doubt one of the best restaurants in Benidorm.

One of our group asked the taxi driver for the best restaurant in benidorm and El Meson was recommended. We visited at lunch without a booking and were greeted warmly despite being British stag do. Food was great. The steak was the best we'd ever had. Melt in the mouth. Good wine list.

El Mesón Benidorm es un restaurante típico español en el corazón de Benidorm, España. La experiencia fue, en general, aceptable. La comida no resultó extraordinaria; era correcta, pero sin sorpresas. Además, el restaurante estaba bastante lleno y el personal se veía muy ocupado, así que el servicio fue un poco lento. Aun así, pasamos un momento bastante bien. No es un lugar al que iría buscando algo especial, pero para una experiencia casual está bien.

Típico restaurante español. El boquerón un poco aceitoso, estuvimos repitiendolo toda la tarde, las mollejas fenomenal, y el arroz con verduras y magro bien. El vino por copas muy bien.

Todo muy bueno aunque el menú algo escaso de variedad, es decir, había muy pocos platos para poder "dudar" para elegir. Aunque el menú estaba muy completo por 14,5€ con bebida. De entrante pedimos ensaladilla rusa, de primero burrito de ternera y ya de segundo solomillo con bacon y queso (3 escasos trocitos, el queso ni lo noté) y "paella" de magro con verduras (garbanzos y garrafón, no la volvería a pedir). Las opciones de postre las vi muy básicas flan helado o fruta aunque como no tenían flan nos ofrecieron natillas. La atención muy buena y los camareros muy atentos aunque llevaban mucho ajetreo y mucho jaleo porque piden las cosas a los de la barra gritando al entrar, eso no me gustó nada la verdad.

Very good menu with a lot of variarity. My friends were very happy with their food, amazing tastes on the pig and lamb. Four stars because i ordered a medium++ steak, but it came with blood and was raw inside. Was not asked about sause, just ended up eating medium- beef without sause. But all in all good experience, Nice locals with AC and 3/4 meals were amazing

Friendly and hard working staff, many different dishes to choose from within the 3 course menu or you can eat a la carte if you like. Vegetarian, Meat and or Fish lovers are all well served here👌🏼 the menu we ate came with a 1L of red wine and 0,5L bubbling water to mix yourself. To bad that all plates came without any salsas, salt and pepper, olive oil and vinegar. But the entrecot and chuletón were both delicious just as they were.

I visited with my friend (mid-October). We had 6 tapas + bread, with a drink each (€32) and enjoyed a mixture of dishes including fresh anchovies (really good), patatas bravas (average), fried cheese (surprisingly delicate), ham croquettes which my friend loved, and a dish of calamari in a Japanese bun topped with super-thin onion rings which was an interesting but very yummy experience. Service was friendly and medium/slow. Would definitely return.

Mal la cómica calidad precio un timo!! Pedí una fritura y después de preguntar al camarero q llevaba : me dijo q pescaito boquerones gambas chopitos y calamares. Y nos trajeron una bandejas con pescadillas y peces grandes a cual más malo de todos. Se lo comento y me trae una bandejita con 5 calamares para compensar! Eso si 20 euros una auténtica estafa ! Allí lo dejé !

Al llegar pedimos poder sentarnos afuera porque dentro había tal escándalo y barullo que era insoportable. El servicio muy amable eso sí. Lo peor fue la comida, sobretodo y para rematar, el arroz. "Arroz del senyoret" decían, casi 3 dedos de arroz en una paella, un arroz insípido de avecrem, colorante a tope, saladísimo, y 5 trozos de pescado descongelado. Horrible. El resto de comida, mediocre, y encima nos intentaron cobrar de más en la cuenta.

If you're looking for quality, stay away from this place. I ordered Iberian ham and they served us mediocre ham from the cellar, but at the price of the best ham in the world. Escribo la reseña mientras estoy aqui porque llevo una hora sentada y no han traído más que una de las entradas, el servicio nefasto y aunque la comida es buena no compensa estar una hora esperando que te traigan lo pedido. De la bebida ni hablamos claro al final estás comiendo sin beber, lo curioso es que llegamos a las 14h y sólo había una mesa, a las 15h estaba lleno, pero nosotros con lo mismo que a las 14h, y otras mesas con el segundo plato y sus bebidas, en fin, una mala experiencia, para nosotras por lo menos.

Solíamos ir de vez en cuando, nos gustaba La última vez fuimos con más gente para que probaran el sitio y no lo acertemos. Faltaba bebida que no tenían. Postres q no tenían. Tampoco no daban opción a nada más. El servicio dejaba mucho q desear. Pedías una cosa y no la traían. Y todo un poco con mala gana y de malas maneras. No vamos a volver. Y la gente que íbamos tampoco. Una pena.

Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia en este restaurante ha sido muy decepcionante. Pedimos una carne que se supone era de vaca rubia gallega con maduración, pero lo que nos sirvieron no cumplía con ninguna de las expectativas. Además, tuvimos que esperar dos veces más de media hora (casi una hora en total) para recibir nuestros platos, lo cual es inaceptable. La falta de personal fue evidente, y lo peor de todo fue la actitud ante los errores cometidos. Nadie asumió responsabilidad: ni el encargado ni el personal atendieron nuestras quejas. Intentamos dialogar para que ajustaran el precio, con la intención de darles otra oportunidad en el futuro, pero no hubo disposición alguna. Habíamos visitado este lugar hace más de un año y salimos encantados, pero parece que todo ha cambiado. Una gran decepción. Sin duda, no volveremos.

Literally can't believe what has just happened at this restaurant... Ordered two Entrecot..one 250gm..one 350gm...both absolutely inedible...trying to cut either without a surgeons knife or a chainsaw was pointless...sent it back within two strugglesome attempts. According to the chef its the best Carne in the whole of Spain 😄😆...well having lived In countless spots throughout mainland Spain the Canaries and Balearics I can without a shadow of a doubt reduce his comment to utter fantasy...quite simply the most atrocious knackered bit of meat on the planet let alone Spain... Paid in full but totally unhappy with the situation. So in a nutshell...if you fancy strengthening your jaw with hours of endless chewing then this is the place for you. The young lady that served us and the front of house staff were all very attentive and welcoming, sadly the food didn't match their professionalism and care. And anyone who's read my countless previous reviews of many other establishments around the world will know I'm not one to chuck unrealistic or false information out into the general public.
