A lovely hidden gem. Our first time here. We were made very welcome by the owners Maria and Carlos. We had Paella for 4 people. It was one of the nicest we have had.

Great little place hidden away but worth travelling to for the food. Very friendly family ran business at reasonable cost for really lovely food. The paella was so much better than you get down on the front in Calpe.

If in Calpe head to this place, traditional old town vibes. Family run and a real taste of Spain. We visited once during our week stay but would have returned for a 2nd visit for sure.

Auch wir waren hier vor 3 Tagen essen. Man ist uns fürs Kind mit einer kleinen Portion Spaghetti entgegengekommen. Das Hähnchen lecker, die Getränkeauswahl gut und Personal und Preise super. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Geöffnet täglich von 12h - 23h (als direkten Bezug zu einem anderen Post hier). Ich wohne aktuell nebenan im Imperial Park und dort hab ich den Hinweis auf die Bar/das Restaurant bekommen. Es ist etwas oberhalb einer eher ruhigen Straße gelegen. Man sitzt dort recht nett und chillig auf einer Terrasse. Der Service ist super, sehr freundlich und mit Englisch kommt man gut zurecht. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und insgesamt gibt es ein wirklich gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich war jetzt jeden Abend dort und heute zum letzten Urlaubsabend natürlich auch. Die Getränke- und Menüauswahl ist sehr vielfältig. Ich werde die Abende dort definitiv vermissen und, wenn ich einmal wieder an der Costa Blanca bin, freue ich mich auf ein Wiedersehen.:-)

Mein Erster Spanien-Urlaub überhaupt und dann in dieses kleine Familien geführtes Restaurant. Trotz meiner nicht vorhanden spanisch Kenntnisse ging es ziemlich gut mit Englisch und etwas Deutsch. Wir hatten die Tage zuvor an der Playa eine Paella bestellt die vor Fett nur so triefte. Wir haben uns dann zu einem Zweiten Versuch im Café Cometa entschieden und uns da nochmal eine Paella zu bestellen. Die Entscheidung war sehr gut 👍 . Das Essen....egal was man bestellt ....schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Getränke Preise sind auch völlig in Ordnung. Das Personal ist stets um den Gast bemüht und besticht mit Freundlichkeit . Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Kleine Familien Restaurant gehen....bevor wir wieder an einem anderen Ort enttäuscht werden.

Ja. Freundliches Service Personal. Angenehmes Ambiente. Sehr zu empfehlen. Besonders die senioren Paella (Muscheln und garnelen schon geschält) ist zu empfehlen.

Bar-restaurant hors des sentiers battus et des lieux touristiques, à découvrir absolument et où nous revenons régulièrement à chaque séjour ! Aussi bien pour l'accueil chaleureux de Carlos, Maria et Roxanna que pour leur cuisine savoureuse, ou simplement pour boire un verre. Tout y est parfait ! Paella particulièrement délicieuse (à commander à l'avance), mais tout est très bon et à des prix très compétitifs. On vous aime !

We tried several dishes and they were all delicious. Paella and shrimps in garlic are especially recommended. Nice atmosphere in the garden with the opportunity to watch the match. Worth coming back!

Si vous recherchez un restaurant typique Espagnol vous êtes au bon endroit. Les plats et desserts sont excellents et les tarifs abordables. Il est recommandé de réserver sinon vous risquez de vous faire refouler aimablement. Le personnel est très sympathique. Peu de places de parking.

A lovely family-operated restaurant that serves excellent food in a quaint, off-the-beaten track location. I have had the pleasure of dining here over the years of my visits to Calpe. I have never been disappointed and always depart satisfied. The food is freshly prepared. The Sangria also is made to order and is fresh, spritzy, and delicious. Spanish is spoken here but a tad of English too. The menu has photos and the descriptions of the dishes translated. Be forewarned that the parking area is limited and drive with great caution as the entrance is at a very narrow stretch of the road.

The garlic prawns and the mixed paella were both outstanding. The waiting time wasn't too long, and it's a family-run restaurant. Honestly, this is the only place I want to eat paella in Calpe.

We had take out from this restaurant and they were really accommodating. So much so, we went and sat in with the kids the next day at lunchtime. The service is friendly, we tried with limited Spanish and they were helpful and spoke much better English than our Spanish, but we tried. I would go back there anytime. Lovely restaurant and lovely relaxed friendly atmosphere. The Paella and tortilla were great!

Located at the narrowest part of the road, it is very easy to miss. Hidden gem, serving great food. We had the paella, garlic prawns and calamari. Really good and well worth a visit. Small carpark although difficult to access and exit.

Passbyers seeking family-style eateries will feel right at home in Cometa Café, rightfully so - it's a casual restaurant with a selection of typical Spanish courses and tapas, also for takeaway. The flavours are nice and the service is lovely - and as long as you don't expect brave experimentation here, you'll enjoy this place tremendously.

Overrated and underwhelming food. Service was quite slow,we had to try to get their attention all the time. Food does not match descriptions and apparently it is supposed to have the best paella in calp. It was overwhelmingly salty and killed the overall flavour of the dish.

Endroit très sympa personnel très sympa beaucoup de flamand fumeurs , nous avons été enfumé très agréable,lorsqu' on mange, la paella était acceptable, Dommage on a l'impression de manger dans un snack plutôt que dans un restaurant espagnol les desserts très moyens et la musique un peu trop forte

Acceuil lamentable. Venu boire un verre à 18h40 pour découvrir le lieu avant peut être d'y rester pour manger. Quelques tables de réservées, d'autres sont montées et d'autres totalement libres. Et on s'est fait VIRER ! Donc qualité des boissons néant, nourriture néant, accueil nul c'est sûr. Donc pour l'avis il est juste à la hauteur de leur attitude. On essaiera peut être une autre fois en faisant différemment avec un gros mensonge. Vous venez manger ? bien sûr ! et on partira après l'apéro.
