Nonostane sia una città molto turistica abbiamo mangiato molto bene, tutti i piatti buoni e ben curati. Personale giovane e molto cortese.

Amazing lasagna and great pasta. It's a busy place with tables on both sides of the pedestrian. There are indoor and outdoor tables. I really enjoyed the food, even though it's busy and lacks a bit of a homey feeling. The atmosphere was great.

Polenta with cheese fondue was really good and filling, we took it for 2 people as the very kind waitress suggested and it was perfect. The wine that she suggested was really nice too. Overall a really nice experience:)

I really think this place is the heaven for breakfast and coffee. We've enjoyed so much that I wish I have discovered this place when we first arrived Bergamo. The service was amazing , lıvely people, very smiley. Prices were very good for my budget. The taste of scrambled eggs and dried tomato in olive oil was something else. Also pistachio croissants were so much more special, tasty and fresh than any other places we had in Bergamo.

Almost all the places in Citta Alta are touristic, but this has a positive impact on all of them. This restaurant too. It was a very high level place like the others. First of all, the waitress (I do not know her name 😊) was very friendly and helpful. Food was served with any delay. I ordered beef carpaccio and lasagna and as you can see in the photos, it was served very deliciously and elegantly. The wine served was very delicious. We sat in the backyard and enjoyed it very much. The cat that accompanied us became the mascot of the place, and I liked it very much. I recommend you to go to this place. 👌

Localino accogliente nei vicoli di Bergamo Alta, questo bistrot è decisamente una buona scelta per un pranzo dopo aver visitato la città alta. Il personale si è dimostrato veloce e cortese, e il cibo, in particolare i casoncelli, di ottima qualità. Peccato solo per i prezzi, alti anche per un locale in zona turistica e non commisurati alle porzioni.

Piatti tipici, ottimo cibo. Se ci fossero anche vini con un prezzo un po' più accessibile, sarebbe il top.

Terzo locale di Mimmo e come per gli altri due, recensione più che positiva…la “formula daMimmo” funziona e per la città alta di Bergamo è un punto fermo della ristorazione. DaMimmo Bistrot è simili a Mimì, locale piccolo molto intimo ed adatto a coppie.

Location accogliente. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Ho preso un Lesso di antipasto ed era fantastico. Carne che si scioglieva in bocca. I casoncelli alla zucca non mi hanno colpito particolarmente,mancavano di sale. Un buon dolce di mela gelato e crumble.

Cibo eccellente ma ci sono un paio di punti da chiarire. Intanto nel menù non ho trovato il costo del caffè e dell’acqua, avrei potuto chiedere ma quando si è in compagnia non è molto elegante. Trovo folle che non ci sia l’acqua da 1 lt e che paghi quella da 0,5lt 2,50€. Il brasato, molto buono , ma scarso di quantità per il prezzo. Crumble di mele sconsigliato, burroso e stucchevole. Ci hanno messi nella sala staccata dal ristorante e in 4 in un tavolo da due, comunque era domenica e abbiamo accettato il disagio, per fortuna in un secondo momento ci hanno aggiunto un mini tavolino extra. Il personale è gentile ma mentre stavo per finire il mio antipasto ci sono finiti l’olio e il pane, essendo nella parte distaccata hanno impiegato almeno 15 minuti a recuperarceli e nel frattempo sono arrivati i piatti successivi, nonostante abbia espressamente chiesto di voler prima finire l’antipasto mi è stato messo di fianco il piatto del primo . Infine la cameriera che ci ha servito il vino ha letteralmente versato un goccia per ogni calice, capisco la fretta ma sommato a tutto il resto non è stato un bel servizio. Da dire che tutti i cibi passavano in strada dal locale principale a quello in cui eravamo noi, tutto coperto tranne il pane .

Posticino carino con il cortile sul retro. Qualità della materia prima eccellente e buon servizio. Piatti tradizionali e ottima carta dei vini. Prezzo onesto.

They found us a table right away, even though it was a Saturday and very busy. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. I recommend the rabbit and the tiramisu for dessert!

Lovely spot in the heart of Bergamo Alta. We ordered the “Salumi” platter and a few local dishes. Everything was tasty and well presented. The location is nice, and during the heat wave it felt almost like dining in a botanical garden (not in a good way). As an Italian, I’d say it leans more towards a tourist oriented experience than a truly traditional one, but the quality is still nice. If you’re visiting Bergamo Alta and prefer not to venture too far, this is a convenient, yet lightly pricey choice. Keep in mind that they charge the typical Italian “coperto”, a 2,5€ fee.

This restaurant was recommended by two different people and the food was really excellent. I really enjoyed the rabbit with polenta with local cheeses. The torta caprese was delicious too. The service however was really chaotic and there was some confusion over the ordered dishes, some people in our party not getting the food they ordered in a timely manner (both for mains and for coffee) and it was clear that waiters had mixed something up. I really understand that it's hard to have a consistent service in such a busy place, but I suggest that waiters repeat the order to customers to avoid such mistakes. Also, while waiting, we were promised a table in the shade, but given the table in the sun, and as it was too hot, we asked if it's possible to open the canopy. The staff answered that it's sunny now so people want to sit in the sun. The particular canopy would have affected only our table and it was clear that we didn't want to sit in the sun.

The service was fast and waiters are very polite. The food taste flat. The salad had no sauce or taste. They charge 2.50€ per person as sitting charges. From value to quality standpoint not the best.

We waited as it was busy. Service was good when present but took a while. We both got the pumpkin soup. It was good but healthily under-seasoned. Prices are high everywhere in Cita Alta so it is tough to judge value. The atmosphere is nice with a patio and open kitchen inside! Overall, I would go back but check out some other restaurants first.

Only David our waiter was a positive about this place .Asked for Pepper 3 times the only one that actually brought it was him .I had the rabbit with crispy bacon . Dry and the potatoes dry and on top of that they never put the bacon on the plate and when we asked they doubted that they never added it. We were charged for the coperto and they never brought us bread .Beer 8-12 euro and the platters were tiny . Bad experience overall for many different reasons .

Not the greatest and completely non hygenic Went there around 3 pm - restaurant was almost empty (they have 3 rooms) and they seated us right next to only other couple in the restaurant:) We were 3 metres away from the toilet (see picture) as in that room there is also the restaurants improvised toilet. I dont want to imagine the eating experince for the people that are actually seated next to the toilet wall:))) Also, right at the toilet exit there was a sink (people would wash hands after exiting the toilet) and they would throw waterdrops on the plates they put on the table when you arrive :))) (again - see picture) - super “clean” Food was average at best and expensive for what is is - parmigianna (you could see it was reheated), vitello tonatto and some bread. Rabbit sauce pasta looked horrible, as if the rabbit sauce was literally from a can and with some invisble parmesan…. Never going there not even if I’m offered free meals for life

The scrambled eggs were good, tasty and well seasoned, the coffee was also good but the croissants with pistachios were completely empty. The service was not nice, I felt like an intruder. I can't recommend it and probably won't come back.

Brutta esperienza! Ho ordinato i taglioni cacio e pepe e ho subito notato un liquido avvolgere gli spaghetti! Ho provato a girarli e ad assaggiarli, ma la pasta aveva formato un grumo unico con il formaggio. Ho quindi chiamato la cameriera per chiederle se era normale fosse così e la sua risposta è stata “dipende”. Dopo averlo chiesto da cosa dipendesse, ha preso il piatto per portarlo in cucina ed è tornata senza piatto dicendo che solitamente li fanno così e se volevo potevo però ordinare qualcos’altro. Ho apprezzato il gesto e ordinato i casoncelli. Arrivati alla cassa ho scoperto che mi avevano messo in conto anche il piatto mal riuscito. Quando alla cassa ho spiegato l’accaduto, mi ha detto, testualmente, che lei da “semplice cameriera” non poteva apportare modifiche allo scontrino. Ho quindi chiesto di poter parlare con un responsabile, ma mi ha detto che non era presente e che quindi dovevo pagare il conto per intero. Il fatto a mio avviso più grave è che il piatto che mi hanno fatto pagare mi è stato tolto e non più restituito. Mi è stato presentato solo il menu con la possibilità di scegliere qualcos’altro e questo NON mi ha fatto pensare che avrei dovuto pagare il piatto che mi hanno portato via e non più restituito!!! Se si paragona la cacio e pepe della mia foto con altre presenti tra le recensioni, è evidente che il mio piatto non è riuscito.
