The staff at this white castle and other establishment have always been respectful and on time. They never have me waiting in line or drive thru (unless they are very busy). I hope more people would come to this specific store (#090036) the lady is extremely nice and so are the other employee's. Unfortunately, I have never been inside the store so I can't comment whether they have clean counter tops or bathrooms. I would give them a higher rating for the food (4.8) but thats not an option. The only reason I would give any white castle a 4☆ for the food is because I'm not a fan of the fries but everything else is great.

Once a year we travel from Texas to Jersey and this is a place we always go to. Food is fresh. Service is friendly and fast. Will definitely be back again on our next visit. This particular White Castle has become our little date night tradition. We were just sad to see that the clam strips were no longer available. It's okay we covered the missing with additional delicious burgers.

Who doesn't love a "Murder Burger?" That's what we affectionately call them here in Jersey. In my humble opinion, they make the best french fries and a simple burger/slider with cheese, (optional) onions, and ketchup and pickles on a tiny 2×2 bun! The best little snack you can get very inexpensively in Hackensack. Every employee is courteous, and pleasant. You can sit inside or outside in the Park across the street. Either way, this is a fun place to go for a quick bite in the Summertime. There is a ton if parking. And exits and entrances on both sides of the street. I don't go on a regular basis but it is my treat every once in a while. Oh and they have every soda you can think of! Including Birch beer, root beer, cherry coke, or orange crush! It makes for a fun summer take out!

White Castle is a guilty pleasure of mine.. great when you're eating it, but regret the next morning. This location is excellent. They must have had a change in ownership or management. The staff is super friendly, which isn't something that you find at all locations. The senior lady who takes your order is so sweet and friendly. They're efficient in taking your order and get you on your way quickly. Thank you.

🤣😂 I had a few drinks and wanted something so fast and satisfying I have to admit I didn't feel guilty because I only had two cheeseburgers i paid for it in the morning 🤢 but they were quite yummy and scratched my itch in the moment it will probably be another 6 months before I even have another one 🤣 very fresh.

This is the best White Castle in the country! Been to quiet a few of them. Food is always hot and fresh. Never wait longer than 15-20 minutes...which is fast considering I waited on line at the flagship store in Orlando for over 2 hours just to be served uncooked burgers (my cheese wasn't even melted). Anyway, grew up with this location since as long as I can remember. Always on my lists of stops(more than one) whenever I visit the city. I hope they NEVER close!!

I haven't eaten here in years, however I was between stops and someone suggested to stop for an old time laugh. The food was fresh and nostalgic. The staff was friendly, wearing smiles and made slight conversations. There was a member named Emonie whose smile and greeting made me feel like a little child going to order with their parents. Seating area was clean and felt comfortable to sit and enjoy.

These sliders are consistently good no matter where I order them - from Bayside NY to location near Bronx Zoo to Little Ferry NJ, the only complaint I've had was an occasional crooked burger, which is no big deal. I had ordered a clutch case and asked for pickles on the side, and one of the staff took a 1oz condiment container to put the extra pickles. I was about to say that I was going to require several of the tiny containers, when a woman who had been making sliders came to our rescue, and suggested to the young lady to give us a small cup instead, pointing out that there were 20 sliders. Common sense rules!!!

Ordered online, quick and easy. Once I got to the drive thru for pick up, I noticed how nice the woman was. It felt good to be greeted so warmly on the morning. Food was hot, I had to leave it out for a few minutes to get it to touchable temperature.

This was my first time in a white castle. The food was really good and was ready fast. The only downside was the floors. They were like ice. I had to take calculated, baby steps every time I walked around.

Good White Castle. They get the order correctly almost every time. We've been coming here for years. Great sliders. Good fries. Self serve soda machine with many options.

My family and I ate at this restaurant while visiting family in the area. We love to eat here! If you haven't had their burgers you're missing out. I always over order and over eat every time we go here LOL. The chicken rings are pretty darn good as well. I love how they have the history of the restaurant strategically placed throughout. It's really interesting to see how this chain of restaurants first began. Had a great experience with the staff and the restaurant was very orderly and clean. I would absolutely recommend them.

It was 4am, I was on the road, and I was hungry. You don't find very many fast food places open at that hour. Except White Castle. Food was made to order, so they were nice and warm when I got home. Good food, good staff.

Recently, I had breakfast here and found it to be quite satisfactory. The Egg Cheese and Sausage Sandwiches were tasty and hot, and the coffee was surprisingly fresh. The counter person that took my order was bright and cheerful, as well as informative as to my order. The dine in area was remarkable in its spaciousness, and the entire building just had a particular brightness about it. It's a shame I don't have too many opportunities to be in this area, because this is one place I'd like to get to more often.

I've been going to White Castles since the seventies, and this was without doubt the fastest I have ever been served ever! Like 2 seconds after we finished the transition they called my order. The sliders were steaming hot! The store was immaculate. If there's a White Castle in heaven, I hope it's this one.

I honestly just expected some mini burgers and fries. But I found myself pleasantly surprised by the amount of things on their menu. I enjoyed the fish sliders very much! And they also had clam strips that were pretty good, probably just your run-of-the-mill Frozen clam strips but they were cooked well and not too chewy LOL very cute to really look like a castle on the outside and lots of cool pictures with their history on inside. And the lady behind the counter was super super friendly! We were just stopping on our way through for some quick road trip food. But had a pretty nice little lunch. And my kiddos especially love the desserts on sticks haha who doesn't like a brownie on a stick?

Burgers are tasty. However, the problem is that they take a long time to cook.

WC is my guilty pleasure. I always look for one along the route I'm driving. This was a nice, clean WC. Only problem was the soda machine was half empty. Many flavors were unavailable.

Sliders, Mac n cheese bites, and onion rings were great. Fries were cold and bland. Restaurant was clean, but it smelled like a fryolater that hadn't been cleaned in years. I understand why most people use the drive thru here.

Visiting NJ and went to get burgers to bring back to VA. The first visit was horrendous. The employees did not have masks on while preparing food and the drive thru employee was rude and without a mask. Went back the next day and it was just the opposite. Ordered at the drive thru. Got the number 8 combo: 20 sliders, sack of fries and a sack of chicken rings for $20. Sliders tasted great. Fries were average. Fairly crispy, but no salt. Chicken rings were soggy and under-spiced, I wouldn't order them again. Overall, I'd come back just for the sliders. The mozzarella sticks are very good too. Be sure to ask for napkins and ketchup, it seems they're not given by default.

Stop in here and get a quick shake and got a couple of the new sloppy sliders as well. The sloppy sliders were delicious and Just the right temperature to get by my tongue. The shake was very good as well although I have actually had better ones at White Castle. It was still a good shape, don't get me wrong, but I prefer the one in Clifton better for shakes. Service getting through the drive-through was nice and quick which is always preferred at a fast food restaurant. ⚡

Food is on par with other White Castles, which to me means delicious but not healthy. I like this location the best so far out of the other White Castles in the area. The interior is a little bit Bland yet has a nice nostalgic feel with the historical photos on the walls. Very clean. Great soda machine. Service is slow, as others have stated but the employees were very kind. I would return but faster service would be an improvement.

The crave case satisfied my craving. The fries were soggier than my socks after running a mile in 90° weather with humidity at max settings. My digestive system also got absolutely annihilated. I had to wipe several times. Live mas. Wait that’s Taco Bell.

Been more than 10 years since my last visit to a White castle. I liked the burgers. Ordered family size (10 bgr + 2 sm fries + 2 drinks) that was for $18. But when cheese was added it came out to be $22. The staff was relatively nice which I really liked because these fast food reatarants are usually staffed by unkind, unruely, uneducated kids. I would visit here again.

Everyone here was very nice and very helpful. It felt like a blast from the past. The atmosphere was cozy, and had the traditional White Castle feel. We ordered some cheeseburger sliders, French fries and Chicken rings.

So we heard on Instagram that White Castle now had Impossible Burgers! As a long time vegetarian, I had not gone to White Castle in years because I didn't think they had anything but meat burgers. I was excited to try them so we went and ordered the 10 pack. Through misunderstandings on the name, we ended up getting Veggie Sliders which are not the same as Impossible Burgers. Good news is White Castle has *two* vegetarian burgers. But the impossible burger is way better. The one young guy behind the counter was super kind and helpful, fantastic customer service (the older woman, not so much). I liked that their support of Autism Speaks is displayed prominently. The restaurant part looked clean and there were many seats open. We will be back when that craving hits.

My chicken sliders tasted so stale like they were sitting out all day. The bread actually had a crunch to it. Onion. Things had the same issue they were just like rubber. What is going on here? The freshest thing I order was a soda.

Unique fast food. The slider , you can't get it any place else. I think it is like licorice, either you live it or you don't care for it. I got onion rings and side which were nice. It has one of those what I consider fancy Coke machine s so I was able to get flavored soda.

Just your basic White Castle. Nothing special, nothing wrong with it. I did notice they do not offer the special sliders during the winter season like spicy Buffalo slider. Just know that they have only one person working the window and the grill late at night, so service may be a bit slow.

Tasted pretty good. Customer service was so-so. Got incredible stomach problems within 8 hours of my visit. Can't think of anything else I ate to cause it. Maybe avoid the loaction unless you've been here before with positive experiences. I also went around 2a, so perhaps the stuff was just out too long between customers.

I have not been to a White Castle in several years. The food didn't taste as good as before. I loved White Castle but I wonder: did anything change as far as their food recipe? The drive thur was good. But once you get your food and leave that's the problem. After driving away the burgers is not fresh. They was almost too cold to eat and dry up. The taste is not good.

Good ole White Castle! Used have their sliders as a kid of the 90s but with many of their locations closing, I haven’t been to one in a while. I came across this one visiting a friend in north Jersey and it is everything I remembered it to be. The seating and decor is very much the same. The sliders are as well but they have new offers like the meatless Impossible Burger. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They only have one drink station, which might be enough given the lack of foot traffic even during prime dining hours. The place also has very bad ventilation so the you will reek of oil if you step foot in this place. This location has a drive through and a decent amount of parking spaces.

I work in the next town over and i come here on occasion. I usually go here during the week on my lunch break but i was in the area on a sunday. Went through the drive thru. Some younger male took my order. It was a very simple order. A number 1 with a root beer, 4 jalapeno cheeseburgers, 3 piece mozz sticks, and 1 cake on a stick. I get to the window and i was given my order. I always check my order before i drive off. He gave me. My number 1 with a "flat" coke (i found out it wasn't root beer when i got home), chicken rings (that i told him to fix at the window), a squished cake on a stick and a half container of fries that went with my #1. This was probably the worst attempt at giving someone a very simple order ever. I'll still come here, but definitely not on sundays anymore. The sunday crew seems incompetent.

Put in an online advance order. The food was late 10 minutes. My ~$35 was told to be 85 dollars until I commented on it. Cashier was rather rude and had limited English. Food wise, the clam strips were burnt and sliders were falling apart. But not all. Some were just really bad. They didn't give any tartar sauce either despite being asked for. We were the only ones there. Probably my worst experience in 20 years.

I am vegan I was very excited to hear that White Castle now has the Impossible Burger which means I am guaranteed to have a nice greasy, fast-food meal like the rest of the omnivore population. Unfortunately, the service was anything but fast, and a local customer confirmed that this is typical of this particular location. I ordered the Impossible Burger combo with no cheese or pickles and with ketchup. The burgers are made to order so I anticipated having to wait, which is fine. But I explicitly told her no cheese or pickles and to add ketchup and she couldn't figure out how to remove the cheese, so she said she would verbally tell the cook to not add it. When my order is ready it of course had cheese and pickles and no ketchup. Normally I wouldn't have said anything and taken my food with a smile, but since I thought it was understood how I wanted my order I repeated that I did not want cheese but I said I'd take it anyway. They apologized and remade my burgers, still added pickles and no ketchup. Between when I started to order my food and when I actually received it only semi-correct, over 30 minutes went by. Not to mention the minutes I had waited unattended before someone took my order. I really wanted this to become my new spot for a "not-so-healthy-but-delicious vegan lunches, but I will never be back here and I encourage everyone to do the same, as I was not the only unhappy customer there today.

Sadly, a very slow experience... I know they make their sliders fresh, but there needs to be some work on doing so during rush lunch when there's a lot of orders coming in... waiting 5+min at the drive-thru for the car ahead of me, and then having to wait 5+more to get my order... too slow. I can only hope that ordering ahead I can get burgers somewhat faster...craving disappear on waits like these.

I went in there to buy a cup of coffee and I waited almost 20 minutes to get up. A regular cup of coffee small. The employees doesn't even talk English. You don't understand anybody. I come here about once a month and they never get my order right. All I ever ask for is no ketchup and every single time they put ketchup. I would understand if I asked for a bunch of customizations, but no ketchup is as simple as it gets.

I never said I hated this place! I ordered two fish sandwiches and two cheeseburgers. The burgers were a lot thinner than I have ever had there, the fish sandwiches had hair in one of them (accidentally, I believe) and the fish batter taste like the oil it was fried in, was passed it's useful life for frying. I did not go back to let them know because I was on my lunch break, and didn't have the time. I have put this visit in the past as an experience.

My original review of this restaurant was taken down by the establishment so here is my second review absolutely terrible customer service, terrible food, terrible management. Nobody did anything to fix the situation. There was hair in four of my burgers, which I was believed to be in place there by a malicious worker, I ordered 210 piece mozzarella sticks. They gave me 24 piece mozzarella sticks. They refused to give me any marinara sauce whatsoever. The girl at the counter was rude and acted as if she was too good to do her job. This establishment is absolutely horrible and I would not recommend it to anybody. Food is ice cold one being served to you how is it supposed to be cold when it should be hot? Why is there hair in my food and why can I have Marinara sauce for my mozzarella sticks. Why is she out here acting like the marinara sauce is made of gold. I was willing to pay for it and she refused to take my money to pay for it. I will keep posting bad reviews because white castle keeps taking them down, and it’s not fair I have the right to my opinion and you do not have the right to take my opinion away, I’m trying to warn other people from wasting their money in that establishment to get food that they want. Not with. Somebody thinks that they should just deserve we’re paying customers not animals. The store manager hasn’t reached out to me to apologize and left me a voicemail saying that they are sorry for the situation and it’ll never happen again but nothing has been done to correct the situation and make me the customer. Feel better about the situation.

Absolutely disgusting ! These sliders were the nastiest thing I have ever had. Not to mention they didnt even label them properly. They mixed up the veggie packaging and beef packaging. Very disappointed and never again.
