This place has the vibes! Indoor and outdoor seating, it gets busy and it gets slow. Places to plug in your laptop and work. They have free WiFi. They have a great, strong Americano as well. The breakfast board was delicious! I will be back!

This is my new favorite place in all of Berkeley. It’s Christmas Day and I’m enjoying a coffee in the gardens so immensely. It is truly artistically carefully designed and cared for. Everything is so beautiful I feel blissful simply being here.

Nice little spot with a back patio. I went on a Sunday afternoon so it was pretty busy but we were able to find a spot to sit down inside. I ordered a matcha and the spicy chicken and waffles. I was prepared for the chicken to be a bit spicier. Overall, the food had good flavor and I had a lovely time here.

Great ambiance! The patio is decorated and has a great vibe. The coffees are good too. Service is a bit slow, the barista is somehow taking the orders and also making the coffee, so he takes some time.

My favorite place to "work from home" for a couple hours with a coffee or tea and snack. Their meals are pretty and def social media worthy for those who are into that. Beautiful outdoor patio, too (designated only for brunch patrons on weekend mornings til 1p or so). Staff is super nice and so is Ariel! Go check it out.

Excellent food and coffee. Honest review: brunch board was really great, including popcorn fried chicken that was moist and delicious meat, beignets were great, waffles with crusted sugar added extra points and taste with fresh fruit, maple bacon lovely touch. We ordered scrambled eggs and salad on the side both of which were disappointing in comparison to brunch board as they lacked flavor and seasoning (eggs plain with no salt/flavor and could have been a bit richer, salad dressing was lite and minimal—they could take a cue from Cholita Linda’s dressing). Overall very satisfied! Strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu were very good, too.

Lovely place. Beautifully decorated. Perfect for working or having coffee with a couple of friends. The porch is charming and has a very nice vibe to it. Coffee is great though the food is a bit too pricey for the portion sizes

My go to spot for study, hangout with friends, and matcha latte now. I love the greenhouse at this place and their pastry. Brunch was good too. Hidden gem in Berkeley.

A terrific laptop friendly find. Went on a chilly Wednesday morning and had no problem finding a seat with an outlet. Wi-Fi reliability was okay; the Vietnamese coffee is delicious!

Look… I love the ambience here. But paying almost $9 for a latte is unreal. A base price of $6.75, then $1 extra for oat milk and $.75 for vanilla? You’ve got to be kidding me. This is ridiculous and for the price of that latte I could buy 3 cartons of oat milk. Take off the added charge for oat milk! So many other places have. I hope that the owner takes note that all of the latest negative reviews are about the insane prices…

Used to love this place but not only did today’s TINY cappuccino cost $8.50 (with tip and an extra $1 for oat milk), but I watched the guy make it with cow milk. If I hadn’t watched, I would be heading home instead of to the movies. 😳

Extremely busy with very long waits, and the coffee was low quality. I had an Americano and the beans were clearly over roasted and the coffee bitter. I’m admittedly spoiled being from Portland, but other nearby coffee shops are less crowded with better coffee.

My friend and I came here to have a nice breakfast together and we ordered the vegetarian omelette that says goat cheese, when brought to the table we were informed that the omelette doesn’t have goat cheese it in fact has dairy cheese (feta). My friend is allergic to dairy cheese (she will be fine). The fact that the menu says one thing and the dish served is another is deeply upsetting. When we brought this up to the staff working we were told that it’s an issue that has been brought up and management won’t do anything about it. Won’t do anything to change the menu to reflect the dish that they serve?? Do better.

Not long ago the best coffee in berkeley. But the owner has lost and fired all the staff that cared about the coffee. So now its just very expensive and mediocre coffee. I was a regular, but today is the the third bad latte in last 5. Dont know what the owner is thinking. I will be moving somewhere else. Too bad.
