BBQ+RICE Korean Rice Bowl WeHo

This has become our go to place in the neighborhood. My husband and I are both vegetarian and love their tofu rice bowl! The portions are big, the prices great and it tastes amazing!!

The service was impeccable, with the staff displaying a genuine passion for providing an unforgettable dining experience. Their attentiveness and knowledge of the menu added a personal touch to the evening. The culinary creations here were nothing short of perfection. The tangy yet sweet flavors of the kimchi paired beautifully with the tender, flavorful beef bulgogi, leaving us craving more with every bite. The restaurant's vibrant and lively atmosphere, with its contemporary Korean-inspired decor and the gentle hum of chatter, created a convivial and inviting space. It was an ideal place for a joyful and memorable meal with friends.

Great place for lunch and dinner. The food is made to order here and super delicious. The man there is always so friendly and serving with a smile.

Excellent flavors, hot and fresh food, and sizable portions for very reasonable prices. We got the bulgogi, spicy mayo chicken, and sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken. Very friendly service. The food was very comforting. Easy parking.

Tasty, fresh, delicious and meticulously made to order meals. These people really care about the meals they make and it shows. Highly recommended. The quality is as good as a Michelin 5 Star restaurant. Doesn't get much better than this. Granted the dining area is like a burger joint, nothing to look at. If you get your food to go, you'll be amazed at just how tasty it is.

Bloody excellent. Tasty and generous servings and great prices. Hot tip get the Bulgolgi (beef) rice bowl and top it with the sweet and spicy Korean chicken. Absolutely sensational find. Definitely be coming back next time I’m in town.

Been coming here for months one of my favorite spots in LA. For once I got home and my order was wrong, came back and the cashier working was so apologetic and not only remade my order but reimbursed my card… you don’t get much better service than that. I love this place, thank you for always leaving me with a good experience!

Love the tofu and eggplant bowl! It’s very tasty and well balanced! Sometimes chicken might be too dry on the outside but the spicy mayo sauce helped a lot! Makes it even feel like fried chicken! 🍗

BBQ + Rice is a fantastic place to grab a meal. They have excellent food, excellent prices, and use non plastic containers. The people are friendly. They have a few locations that are both convenient for me. I had the spicy pork bowl and it was amazing. I want to stress again how good the value is for a small business in an expensive city like LA. They give you a very filling meal for ten dollars or less. You really don't find that much anymore. I also had their fried chicken and it was tasty, crispy and a good side to go with the bowl. This location has a small parking lot but I had no issues getting a parking space and there are plenty of street parking options close by.

The food is good but it doesn’t taste like Korean food. It tastes more like Chinese food than Korean but taste wise, it’s delicious!

I'm not a huge fan of Korean rice bowl foods but this was as good as they got. Everything is prepared to order and everything is really fresh. It's a bit of a hole in the wall restaurant in a small shopping center but it's worth a trip to pick up or eat there. The people who work there and the owner are really really nice.

Leaving off the 5th star because the fried chicken left something to be desired. It was a small portion with a lot of small pieces, it would be nice if they used bigger pieces for this and not just giblets. Spicy chicken bowl was phenomenal and filling though.

But now, let’s talk about the Korean Fried Chicken... What happened?! It was like chewing on rubber. The pieces were small, tough, and completely flavorless. I couldn’t believe it—it’s like they forgot the seasoning and the juiciness altogether. If I had been eating there, I probably would’ve asked for my money back. So, here’s my final verdict: BBQ+RICE WeHo is still a great spot. The Bulgogi Beef Bowl is a 10/10, the Black Pepper Chicken Bowl is solid, and the pickles are always on point. Very nice homey place that perfectly executes it's simple menu. Your have your options of rice bowls with various Korean barbecue, great portion sizes and made to order. Comes out hot and fresh with friendly service. Great deal for a quick bite on the go. Always a solid option!

Ordered their wok fried tofu to go and it was very good, didn’t wait for too long since the place wasn’t busy, the girl at the counter was welcoming and polite, the place felt warm and simple which I liked, added a side of kimchi and it was spicy and delicious, I feel like going back and trying out some more options off the menu. All and all a good experience.

Dirty!!! Not very friendly staff.The dishes were dirty, and the food had a very unpleasant smell and taste.A passing cockroach is a normal phenomenon for them. My friends had stomach aches and stomach upset just like me.I'll never go there again.Cheap means not high quality.🤢🤢🤢
