Dave's Hot Chicken

Plain wrap, menu with more choices for heat options than items in this one of three locations. The chicken is good and for $4 you have a filling meal of a large tender and white bread plus pickles. Option is a slider, fries and kale salad as extras. Friendly, professional service with lines all day -outdoor seating only. I ducked in when there was no line and was told I was lucky - --when I left there were 20 people waiting.

We've eaten here twice since it opened a month ago and the chicken lives up to the hype. Unfortunately they pretty much only serve tenders as even their slider sandwich is just a tender on a bun with slaw and sauce. But the limited menu makes for a more perfectly cooked tender. Juicy and flavorful. Not dry like many places. The spicyness is well done with the medium a good kick and the hot level making me sweat the perfect amount. The reaper level was more hype than delivery with the waiver they make you sign but it was definitely SPICY. The Mac and cheese was mediocre according to our specialist teenager but helped counter the extra hot chicken she got. My only quibble is the fries are heavily spiced and I prefer them to be a bit less spiced to help cool my mouth from the chicken. The other half likes their fries just as they are, so take that as you will.

Wow Dave’s has really kept up the consistency from day 1. I worked at a hot chicken restaurant for a couple years and they’re doing it beyond right here! Friendly and attentive staff, I went for the medium spice but have tried their reaper and it was amazing if you enjoy a lot of spice with a ton of flavor. Pardon the fingerprint in the bun but upon opening the box it looked so delicious I took a bite before taking the picture. Well deserved 5 stars

One of the best fast foods I love is Mediterranean, and I eat at Dave’s Hot Chicken at least once a week. I love the food there a lot! Here at Culver City the guy at the front, named David, was so nice and took great care of me. His customer service was excellent—I really appreciated his hospitality. The staff at Dave’s Hot Chicken are well-trained and friendly, and my experience was amazing!

I had an amazing experience at [Dave’s Hot Chicken ]. Their chicken burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful, with the perfect balance of spices. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Ordered 2 sliders (with cheese) with fries and was full / satisfied. Got the extra hot and regular hot. My mouth was on fire. I'm getting mild next time, but those chicken sandwiches were delicious, especially with Dave's special sauce. It's worth every dollar. I'm a huge fan of this franchise now.

I had the pleasure of eating at Dave's Hot Chicken on venice blvd and it was one of the best chicken experiences I've ever had! The chicken was perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy, with just the right amount of spice. Their sides were also incredibly delicious - I especially loved their cheese! fries The service was also great, and their staff is very friendly. Decided to try here because of the good ratings and I was happy, very yum. It can be pretty hot too, I got 1 mild and 1 regular and even the mild had a lil kick to it. I enjoyed the food and it was filling. There isn’t any tables inside for Covid but the outside seating is covered so it felt good. I would recommend as a quick bite to eat.

dave's hot chicken is finally in town! they recently opened (2.27.21), so we gave it a try right away and i can tell you that it did not disappoint. for those who are looking to check what their covid safety practices are, here are a few things i've observed: - social distancing markers on the floor - qr code printed for contactless menu - patio seating only (no indoor tables) - big flexi glass on the counter, as an added layer of protection - and, of course, everyone was wearing masks what we ordered today: combo #1 (2 tenders with no spice) combo # 2 (2 sliders with kaleslaw on the side) a side of mac and cheese extra tender with hot-level spice the chicken was juicy; the crunch was spot-on (did not have too much batter, it was not soggy and it was not that greasy); the hot-level spice had a good kick, but not too spicy. if you like spicy food, you could probably tolerate and enjoy the extra hot level. the mac and cheese has a little spice to it - my 5yo ate it okay, but definitely felt the spice. it also tasted a little cumino-y, but im not sure if that's a true flavor my tongue caught. we will definitely come back and try different spice levels and maybe the milkshake

The food is good, the chicken is at its point as it should be and juicy, but if you don't like spicy food (powder) I don't recommend it. It's a good option if you like food with Indian flavors.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 because my meal was fire, it was because I didn't get the option to add kaleslaw to my loaded mac n cheese I couldn't add anything, I could remove but not add. As a consumer that bothered me, if I want to add kaleslaw then I should be able to because the customer is always right. Fix that I give 5 stars. Also im a takeout order from grubhub

Had it during Ramadan, and that wasn’t the best decision! Don’t get me wrong, the sandwich itself was good. But the chicken was too thick, and the seasoning was too much and it was very overpowering. The fries were good with the sauce though. I’ll come back to try the cauliflower. At least it’s halal!

Food was good,but you have to do something about your containers,it’s outrageous in the time it took to walk to my vehicle from the counter was like 2 minutes,how are all my tenders soggy with breading falling off? Is that normally how it is? My biggest complaint was that thier fried chicken was way more soggy than crispy.i feel like those pictures tricked me.
