Good takeout vibe. Efficient and really great food. I stick to the classics, I’m kind of boring. Basically I’m a pad thai girl, but I do appreciate a good pad thai, and LaLa Rice delivers. I like it saucy, which theirs is. Good fresh spring rolls too!
Lala Rice is always our reliable, "go to" Thai spot! The food is delicious. We love their green curry, pad Thai, and tom yum soup. We've gotten both take out and dine-in a few times each. They plate the food beautifully when you dine-in and are friendly. Would recommend!
I have been here countless times and have tried almost everything on the menu, nothing fails to be delicious!! The best Thai food you can get in Los Angeles. Very authentic so if you are sensitive to spice be careful with some of the dishes but you can ask to be less spicy. They’re very good at accommodations.
I’m originally from Thailand. 🇹🇭I recently moved to this area and this is my second time trying this Thai restaurant. I just want to say that the food tastes absolutely amazing! Everything I ordered was perfect . The restaurant is clean, and the staff provides excellent service. Highly recommended from a Thai person! 🥰👍🏼. ( must try Thai boat noodle)🍜
I had an amazing experience at LaLa Rice Thai Eatery and More! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The Chicken Satay was tender and flavorful, the LaLa Rice Wings perfectly crispy, and the Nam Prik Ong had such a rich and comforting taste. I really enjoyed the freshness of the Yum Woon Sen Salad, and the Crying Tiger was simply outstanding — juicy, smoky, and packed with taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, the service is fast, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service you get. Highly recommend this place — I’ll definitely be coming back!
My first time here. The place is very clean and decent size. I have tried many Thai places but this is definitely my favorite. The Food is Excellent. Great flavor. I had the lunch Special and the portion to the price is very reasonable. Will be back for sure
What a great find! Not super busy, quick service, and great food! Food not only tasted good but sat well on my stomach. We will be back!
Having lived in Thailand for several years, I always crave authentic Thai food and this place is it! The flavors are beautiful and they use high quality ingredients. I would say they rival some of the best places in Thai town. Not to mention that their plating is beautiful and the ambience is very nice. Definitely recommend the Pad Thai (tastes like authentic pad thai, not the red sugary noodles many other places make), the papaya salad made with the crispiest fresh papaya, and the mango sticky rice, skillfully made and “not too sweet.” I’m surprised they haven’t attracted the attention of food critics yet but before long they will for sure. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Omg everything’s so amazing here, I even forgot to take pictures when the food came! Their flavors were authentic, with my favorite drunken noodle and Green Curry standing out as some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was cozy, clean and fresh, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, food came so fast too! I think it’s perfect for both a casual dinner or a special night out( they serve alcohol btw). And look at how cute the desert is!! Highly recommend this Thai restaurant and I'll definitely be coming back!
LaLa Rice Thai Eatery - A Thai Culinary Gem in West Los Angeles My recent culinary escapade at LaLa Rice Thai Eatery in West Los Angeles was nothing short of a gastronomic adventure. Let me walk you through the highlights of this Thai gem nestled in the heart of the city. The ambiance at LaLa Rice is a delightful blend of contemporary aesthetics and traditional Thai charm. The moment you step in, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an authentic dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show – the Pad Thai. It was a symphony of flavors that transported me straight to the streets of Bangkok. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the medley of sweet, savory, and spicy elements created a harmonious dance on my taste buds. What truly stood out was the commitment to using fresh, quality ingredients. Each dish at LaLa Rice felt like a labor of love, with vibrant colors and bold flavors indicative of the authenticity of Thai cuisine. The staff at LaLa Rice were not just servers; they were culinary guides, offering recommendations and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Their warmth and attentiveness added an extra layer of charm to the overall visit. For anyone in West Los Angeles craving an authentic Thai culinary journey, LaLa Rice Thai Eatery is a must-visit. It’s more than a restaurant; it’s a gateway to the rich tapestry of flavors that Thailand has to offer. 🌶️🍜🌿
Very nice place cozy, and i enjoy my dish so much, Good Sevices. Hope to come back next time soon
If I could give ten stars, I would! Every time I visit the area, I insist on eating here. There's not a single bad dish, everything is exemplary. The servings are generous and the food divine. We went around Christmastime and they had fabulous themed cocktails. Also every inch of this restaurant was decorated- it was a feast for all senses, absolutely dazzling. Service is quick, friendly, and attentive.

Good Food!!! Good Presentation !!! Good vibes!!! Friendly staff😊 We have ordered coconut shrimp balls, stir fried rice noodles which were good and also tried one of their signature dishes the Tamarind fish. It got unique sweet & sour flavor combination and was awesome.
I'm an American born in Los Angeles and married to a Thai lady. Since marrying her, Thai food has become my favorite and I crave it all the time. We have eaten at dozens of Thai locations and LaLa Rice has moved to the top five of our favorites list. I have eaten many things on the menu and everything is outstanding. I love Khao Soi and Pad Krapow and both of these are outstanding here. I especially love the changeup of Spaghetti Spicy Basil! Had the Curry Soft Shell Crab last week and it was amazing to the point of decadence. Everything here is so fresh and beautifully plated. The staff is sweet, friendly, and smiling...just like what I've come to know of the Thai people. Servings are large and we usually get a dish each plus a side like Papaya Salad and always have to box up leftovers to take home. I highly recommend this wonderful location!
We did a take out order today and wow everything was so delicious! The coconut lime soup with chicken is AMAZING!!!! The best I’ve ever eaten in so long. I also highly recommend the pesto coconut noodles with chicken also!!!! So delicious and flavorful! Fresh ingredients and quality food! Can’t wait to experience the food in the restaurant when it’s freshly cooked and super hot!!! So excited!!! Thank you for such an amazing meal after a long day. Kop kun!!! 🙏🏽🦋✨
This place was so fantastic that I dined here twice in one week. Full of flavor and generous portions, this cozy little place offers so much variety that it's literally hard to choose what you want to eat. Fast service. Highly recommend the coconut shrimp and pad see-ew. I got the combo, which comes with shrimp, chicken and steak, which was a little bit too chewy for my liking. I wasn't a big fan of their chicken either but, elhey, I didn't leave any leftovers.
One of our regular spots! We order to takeout most times but we do go there too. The place is cute. The service is not always consistent though. We love the food!! We’ve brought family and friends. I love how much veggies they give in the drunken noodles. The butterfly lemonade is sweet but so good!
The best Thai food i've had in LA is in Thai town. but for the west side, this is very good ! Might be my new Thai spot. Very cute on the inside with ample seating. Parking is a little tough since the lot is small but we found street parking in the neighborhood behind the building no problem. We ordered the fresh rolls, Pad see ew (w shrimp), green curry (w tofu) and hot and sour soup (w chicken). My husband LOVED the soup and said the chicken was not dry at all. He said it's better than our usual spot. Green curry and pad see ew were flavorful as well. Service was friendly and attentive but not overly attentive (a good thing!)

I saw this one yelp, and the food looks great in the photos. I came in today at around 5 PM, and there weren't customers by the time I sat down. The food and taste were great, and everything went well until some shady move suspected. When we were about to pay for the bill, we noticed the tip amount in the card machine was set to $22 (they use one of those portable payment kiosk). The amount is not preset by the machine (not those suggested tips you would usually see). It means the tip amount was input before we had the kiosk. I can't say who did this or if it is an accident, but I would avoid coming back here again. FINALLY, if you happen to dine in here, ALWAYS CHECK THE PAYMENT KIOSK BEFORE CONFIRMING!!!
Kai Tod Hat Yai is smelly and rotten chicken. it so upset me. restaurants should be honest in business.

I am writing this review to warn others about a serious health and safety concern I encountered during a recent pickup order at La La Rice. What should have been a simple meal turned into an incredibly upsetting display of poor hygiene and unprofessionalism. The Incident: Unsanitary Food Handling The core of the issue began when I requested a side of sweet and sour sauce. Rather than providing a fresh, clean container, the staff member took a sauce container that had been previously handled or spilled upon and wiped it off with an incredibly dirty, unsanitary wet rag. In a food service environment, using a multi-use rag to "clean" a food container is a direct violation of basic food safety protocols. It cross-contaminates the packaging and risks the health of the customer. Service & Staff Attitude When I understandably pointed this out and asked for a new, clean sauce, the response was shockingly disrespectful. The female employee on duty was: • Dismissive: She acted as though my concern for basic cleanliness was a nuisance. • Combative: She showed zero accountability and was visibly rude about the request to replace the contaminated item. • Unprofessional: There was no apology for the mess or the unsanitary practice; instead, I was met with hostility. Final Verdict A restaurant can have the best food in the world, but if the staff is willing to use "dirty rags" on food items and treat paying customers with such blatant disrespect, it is not a safe or welcoming place to eat. This was messy, unsanitary, and entirely avoidable. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise management to retrain their staff on both food safety regulations and basic customer service etiquette.
I have been to LaLa Rice many times and have ordered the cashew chicken dish which they have told me each time is prepared gluten free for me. Tonight for the first time the waitress told me that all of their chicken options are not gluten free which is extremely upsetting given how many times they told me it was prepared gluten free for me. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
