I've visited this place before, and today I stopped for an aperitivo, a double Campari with white wine. The decor is truly pleasant, very simple yet elegant, with tables—in my opinion, similar to wood, not wood (but I could be wrong, so I apologize). Brown, dark, grayish walls with niches housing paintings or small Christmas sculptures, perfect for this time of year, and soft lighting, both classic and Christmassy. I've been told they also do pizza; I'll try that next time. There's an outdoor veranda and a parking lot nearby, not huge but plenty of space. It's in a prime location, as it's on a busy road from Gavirate to Biandronno. A pleasant stop.

It's the café in front of the car wash, small but very welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The croissants are delicious, and the cappuccino is excellent. The baristas and waitresses are always friendly and personable.

Stopped by for a quick snack, friendly staff, well-made thick pizza, let's say quite filling, perhaps if you need to be lively in the afternoon I would recommend something lighter.

I'll start by saying I was there for lunch; the dining room was too dark; a little more light wouldn't hurt. The price-quality ratio is good: the first day I had a pizza dough sandwich (good), and the second time I had a slice of pan pizza (good for me because I like thick, fluffy pizza). The first courses are pre-cooked and pre-packaged, which isn't a bad thing for those who prefer something simple, but I prefer it freshly prepared. I noticed a bit of a mess behind the counter, and I agree with another reviewer who said it would be better to wash your hands before touching the food or not make it visible. Better to improve.

I'll start by saying that I've been here several times for post-match aperitifs, and I always promised myself I wouldn't post reviews, but given the owner's attitude today, I've changed my mind. Poor service, a cramped and dark atmosphere, poor-quality appetizers, and the only time we dined there, the risotto was inedible. I'll add that this isn't a vindictive review (I would have written the exact same things before if I didn't have such respect for the owner's father), but given her arrogance and lack of kindness toward me today, I feel compelled to write this review. Good luck.
