Probamos un par de tapas, las albóndigas (no os vayáis sin hacerlo) y los calamares, que son la especialidad. No quedaba tortilla así que no pudimos degustarla. La comida riquísima, lo único que no nos avisaron de que una de las tapas estaba muuuuy caliente y literalmente me abrase el paladar al morder las cocochas! Jajajajaja Pero si tenéis cuidado, muy rica la comida

Uno de los mejores bares de pintxos que probamos en Bilbao. Está ubicado en plena Plaza Nueva, en el casco viejo, con un ambiente muy animado y auténtico. La barra de pintxos es espectacular, con muchísima variedad y todos muy bien elaborados. Probamos varios pintxos y todos estaban deliciosos, e los calamares, que estaban increíbles. Se nota la calidad del producto y el cuidado en la presentación. Además, el servicio fue rápido y muy amable, algo que se agradece cuando el lugar está lleno. La relación calidad-precio es muy buena y sin duda es una parada obligatoria si estás de ruta de pintxos por Bilbao. ¡Totalmente recomendable y volvería sin pensarlo! ah soy BONY (Alias Tony jjj) GRACIAS CHICOS

Increíble lugar para tomar pintxos deliciosos y con una presentación preciosa. Además, el personal es muy agradable y dan ganas de permanecer todo el día en el lugar. Yo fui atendido por Joana, que fue súper simpática y una chica muy profesional. Sin duda volveré pronto. Muy buena sensación nada más aterrizar en la ciudad.

Sorgínzulo is another fantastic pintxos experience in Bilbao, right on Plaza Nueva. It’s a small, bustling spot full of energy—people enjoying pintxos, wine, and music, with crowds lining up for the next round of tapas. The selection is big, prices are fair for the location, and the flavors are excellent. I’d happily come back here again!

The Pintxos are so good. Pintxo is a special meal ftom Bilbao, similar to tapas. Must try with Zurito. This bar is in the heart of Plaza Nueva (Old Bilbao). BRAVO👍

If you can only make it to one pintxo bar, let it be this one. We tried at least 8 different places in Bilbao and we rank this as the top for variety and taste. We love the pintxos here (calamari burger, stuffed anchovy, anything really). The standout dish of the place was the foie which came with popping candy and a brioche that tasted like a torrija, felt like a dish that was invented to be a part of a Michelin-star tasting menu. You have to order & wait for it but it’s worth it! Service is pretty quick and friendly.

Did not plan to go here, but when I saw the ambience and it looked cool, I came in and ordered calamares and patatas Callanas serving is big, but it was so good, George the server was very good and attentive, chat with him and talk about Bilbao, try also their signature beer 1870 and very nice and fresh! Their pintxos calientes are so good! The carrilleras (iberico cheeks) were so good, we came back for a second portion to end our pintxos night! One of their specials it the foie gras with sheep cheese brioche and it’s honestly great but a bit too fatty for me. The iberico cheeks with mashed truffle potatoes was my favorite from all surrounding pintxos bars - hands down! You NEED to try! Also, the staff were very friendly and also super fun. They made jokes and were in such a great mood despite the crowds and busy hours! Will def come back!

Sitio de pinchos y de raciones bastante variado, buenísimos y con buena cantidad. El sitio es pequeño y se llena, pero atienden bastante rápido y puedes pedir y tomarlo de pie.

No es mala tortilla de patata pero para mi gusto está un escalón por debajo de las mejores de Bilbao. Me ha parecido ligeramente insípida y algo seca en comparación con otros lugares que suelo frecuentar. En cuanto al café, corriente, aceptable. El local es pequeño, con varias mesas altas con taburetes, y cuenta con terraza exterior (pregunta cuál corresponde).

The pintxos were excellent and varied, though like with many pintxos I was left with a bit of heartburn. The sangria was very light on alcohol but tasty — for me, that’s a plus. Four pintxos and two sangrias for €25 is a deal you won’t find in Munich or other big cities. Unfortunately, the restroom was extremely dirty.

A lively pintxos place at the main square, a bit more touristic to our like but the food quality and taste is good, pricing is also very fair. Would prefer an either more local and down to earth or smaller scale pintxos place around the town but if you are for the main stream vibe, the food is definitely good!

We had dinner here on our first day in the city. We had a variation of pintxos (we got about 10 in the end 🐷). Our favourite one was the cod pintxos (the one with the yellow sauce). It was really delicious. There was a mini burger one and a duck meatball one (that was incredible). We werent sure what some of them were but it was good. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Lovely view of the square from out seats outside. We had 4 beers as well which were good. Recommend for sure.

Trust me, my friends, this abomination should be struck from the menu with immediate effect. Nevertheless, let's not allow one misstep to overshadow the brilliance of the rest. For in this unassuming pincho bar nestled in the heart of Casco Viejo, I found not just a meal, but a celebration of life, love, and the pursuit of gastronomic bliss. So if you ever find yourself wandering the streets of Bilbao, do yourself a favor and seek out this culinary oasis. Just do me a favor and don't order the cheesecake.

Muy buen ambiente, servicio en la mesa bueno pero en la barra algo caótico. Te tiene que gustar el concepto de comer pinchos. A mí no me acaba de convencer porque no me gusta levantarme de la mesa para ir a por ellos ni tampoco comer de pie ni comer tanto pan. El de pastrami está muy bueno lo recomiendo.

The pintos here look colourful and are very creative. We tried a sausage wrapped in pastry topped with a mini egg. It was expectedly tasty but maybe a little rich with the combined combo. The mushroom and goats cheese pinto was juicy and the combo gave it a moorish quality. Washed down with an ice cold beer and it was a great pit stop.

Pues escribo básicamente por la tortilla, o mejor dicho, por la falta de ésta. O la sirven prontísimo, y ya sólo hacen una o no lo entiendo. Si a las 12-12:30 durante tres días seguidos nunca queda en ninguno de los dos, no lo entiendo. Hace tiempo pude comerla, a una hora más tardía, y sacaron dos o tres más. No sé si han cambiado las condiciones pero hoy por hoy es imposible comerla. 😭 Por suerte siempre pregunto primero si hay antes de pedir bebida, así nos podemos ir a otro sitio.

So the service was good and the squid dish was excellent. Sadly we ordered the red tuna dish - the most expensive dish on the menu - instead of coming with the advertised avocado, lime and mayonnaise, they cobbled together something with an overly acidic tomato salad and some rocket (picture attached for proof). If you haven't got the ingredients for the dish don't serve it, a real shame as if you do get served what is advertised the food is excellent.
