Ristorante nel borgo storico del Piazzo. Locale carino anche se ...essendo nella bella stagione abbiamo utilizzato il porticato esterno. Cibo veramente buono...e piatti curati nei dettagli. Tutti piatti caserecci in cui si vede il grande lavoro in cucina. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Servizio veloce.. e gentilezza da parte del padrone in cui ha cercato di darci un buon tavolo avendo la bambina piccola con noi. Ci torneremo sicuramente

Qualità e cordialità. Da provare polenta gorgo e toma ! La cameriera che ha servito è in gamba cordiale e sempre con il sorriso. Nonostante il locale pieno serviti senza ritardi. Tiramisù eccezionale.

Esperienza unica!!! Ho telefonato ma non avevano posto ... dopo 3 minuti mi hanno richiamato perchè hanno avuto una disdetta e sinera liberato un tavolo libero MAI SUCCESSO!!!. A very nice and welcoming place. Upon our arrival, we were greeted very kindly. The waitress was very kind and offered us a delicious soft cheese with garlic and paprika. The local Margot beer is very good and pairs excellently with the dishes. The service is very quick, and the atmosphere whets the appetite (we were in a small room upstairs). The poker was very good and allowed us to fully enjoy the two polentas (concia with gorgonzola and toma cheese, and mushrooms with Bra sausage). The desserts looked very inviting. The cream caramel was fabulous, the panna cotta with orange zest was above average, and even though I don't drink coffee, I would have gone for the tiramisu. I preferred the cream caramel with a shot of cherry ratafia. They were very kind and also offered us a shot of apricot ratafia (very good, but more fortified than the cherry one). Even with dessert, the beer went very well, in my opinion, and I must say the biscuits that accompanied the cream caramel and panna cotta were excellent. The bill was very fair: €66 for everything we ordered. We'll definitely be back.

A truly special osteria! Unique and thoughtfully designed furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere, along with exquisite food and generous portions. You can feel the passion and love for this craft in the dishes, even in the attention to presentation. The staff is exceptionally kind and makes you feel right at home. I had a wonderful time and the food was divine. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality. Highly recommended!

We wandered into this splendid Osteria in the center of Biella while randomly searching for a restaurant in the Piazzo district after an afternoon spent at the Pistoletto Foundation and the Ferrero and Gromo Losa buildings, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Personally, I was "provoked" by the sign, which played on the Cuban Revolution's slogan "Hasta La Polenta Sempre" (Towards Polenta Always), so I ordered a braised beef with polenta, which was a veritable symphony. I'm told the vegetarian dish was equally delicious. The two desserts were also excellent: a tiramisu and a perfectly crafted chocolate and pear cake. The atmosphere is friendly and informal, yet very intimate. It's cheerful but not excessively loud, and you can also enjoy the jazz background music, which I enjoyed. I truly loved this place, and I'm deeply sorry for Hemingway, who never spent time there—too bad for him 😋😉

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I traveled all the way from Dublin, Ireland, to Biella, Italy, just to dine at La Civetta, and once again, they exceeded all my expectations! I had been dreaming about their Trippa dish since my last visit, and it was just as incredible as I remembered—full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. But the real surprise? Their tiramisu. It’s to die for! Light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness—it’s hands down the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. The warmth and hospitality of the staff make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the kind of place where you can truly savor every bite. I can’t recommend La Civetta enough to anyone visiting Biella—it’s worth the journey, and I’ll be coming back for more! Thank you for another unforgettable meal!

Sono particolarmente emozionato nel recensire questo ristorante perché inaspettatamente ho avuto modo di essere ospite de “La Civetta”. Nel caso voleste venire qui, soprattutto di sera o durante le feste, è sempre meglio prenotare. Siamo riusciti a prendere un tavolo venendo all’apertura ma solamente dopo 20 min il ristorante si è riempito! Il personale ha fatto il possibile per accontentarci e ci è riuscito con naturale gentilezza e professionalità. Il cibo ci ha fatto sognare e sperare in una prossima volta da tornare per assaggiare nuovi piatti. Abbiamo assaggiato il tris di verdure e le polente. Siamo rimasti bene. In 5 abbiamo speso: 85€. Ma l’unica domanda che resta è: dove porta la “Porta della Cisterna” ?
