Had server Rebecca . She was great, very friendly, polite and helpful. I had a beef brisket sandwich with cheese, peppers, onions and mushrooms with a salad and fries. It was very delicious 😋and the price was not to bad. Was not to busy , was there on a Monday about 4:45 . I will be back !! Thank you Rebecca!!
I am not sure why this place has such low ratings. I have eaten multiple things from here at multiple times of the day and they have all been tasty. I would get my daily ham and cheese omlettes from here and never been disappointed. I tried their mater cakes for lunch at like 3 pm and also had their dump fries which comes with gravy and a fried egg at like 2 a.m. and everytime the food came out warm and delicious. I would go stay at IP just for how good this restaurant was.
We had the meatloaf sandwich, Mater Cakes and gumbo - all fabulous!!!! So good.
The food was high quality! If you like cheesecake you will love theirs with strawberry toppings. All of the food was flavorful and delicious. Definitely worth the money. It's quiet and candle lit. Great place to take your special someone. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable.
First time in Biloxi, Mississippi. We were seated by a nice receptionist at the front. Very friendly and kind. Our waiter Mr. Jimmy was nothing but a great hostess. He allowed us to view the menu with time and was very helpful when asked a question. I will recommend him again when we return. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and I might add was very delicious. I had the shrimp scampi which was not disappointing. The butter sauce was great and I was looking for seconds it was so good. My lady had the Mahi Mahi with southern greens and mashed potatoes. I had to taste some of hers and it was good. All in all the place was 2 thumbs up for us and recommend to anyone. Thanks again Bayview Cafe!!
Stayed at the IP with my husband, and ate here multiple times/day. I will say that every single meal we had was top notch. Service at 10 am was just as good as the service at 10 pm. Best appetizer award goes to the potato bites. Shrimp Scampi and the Tuna Poke Bowl were great, and the fried oysters were also amazing.
I recently had the opportunity to order food to go from this establishment. I ordered 3 different items. I started with "LOADED POTATO SOUP." So creamy, with chunks of potato, cream and cheddar cheese that is oh so delicious . Packed with flavor and topped with crushed smoky bacon, sour cream and green onions. Oooh. Secondly, a side of "COLLARD GREENS." Greens are something I relate to a dear lady I knew in my youth. So many people lack the skill to make this vegetable jump, but Bayview Cafe has the skill and the recipe to push this Green over the top. Graced with thick chunks of ham hocks, these Greens are loaded with enough flavor to put any 4 star restaurant to shame. Last, a PATTY MELT with double hamburger patty, American cheese, grilled onions with special sauce on texas toast with a choice of fries or chips. There was only one thing missing that would make this sandwich better, and that is a good deli pickle spear. But wow, oh wow! I can not say enough to do this place justice. Congrats on a job well done Bayview Cafe!
We came to eat here as a last minute decision before a show since our restaurant of choice down the road had a long wait. I was sat down immediately, and then had such a wonderful waiter named Brandon for our dinner service. My boyfriend was trying to parking his truck while I went in to grab us a table, and Brandon had brought our drinks out right away. He also then just keep checking on me to make sure I was okay since it was taking longer then the few minutes anticipated for him to park. When Brandon checked on me another time while making his rounds, I thanked him again and let him know my boyfriend was having issues finding parking for his lifted truck but shouldn't be much longer, and Brandon instantly gave me advice on where to tell him to park. Welp at this moment my boyfriend was walking up behind him to sit at the table, but that was so kind of Brandon to offer that advice. We also went with his entree recommendation of Chicken Biloxi, which us folks from New Orleans was a little hesitant to try. WHOA... THAT DISH DID NOT MISS! It was so flavorful and delicious. We made sure to let Brandon know that his recommendation was spot on. We enjoyed the food but especially the service there. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting in the area, and thanks Brandon for wonderful hospitality!
I've dined at this restaurant several times, both for dinner and breakfast, and it never disappoints. The seafood is always incredibly fresh, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. My go-to for dinner is the shrimp platter—it’s cooked perfectly every time, and you get a lot of it. For breakfast, I love their veggie omelet (breakfast potatoes are delicious too), which is loaded with fresh vegetables and super flavorful. The service is consistently descent. Whether you're stopping by for a casual breakfast or a seafood dinner, it’s definitely worth the visit!
I visited Bayview Cafe on Wednesday, May 14. I was in town for my sister's graduation! I'm vegetarian, and I was pleased the cafe was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions! I got the shrimp and crawfish pasta (shrimp & crawfish on the side). The flavors were delicious!! The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing! The restaurant was very clean and I would eat there again!! I also had the raspberry cheesecake to go for dessert, which was also delicious!! 10/10!! P.S. I was starving, so I don't have any pictures!
My husband and I decided to try Bayview Cafe out for dinner last night. We are immediately met by hostess who showed us our table. Our server Diamond, she was a wonderful gem to say the least. She was knowlegable about the food, helping us make a great choice selection. We chose the Seafood platter. We were surprised how fast it came out. We were skeptical if it was cold, or not cooked. The food was hot, delicious, not greasy, and the flavor was scrumptious. My husband and I shared it, and added an extra side salad. This was plenty to feed two people, who are plus size. We were both very pleased with the food, staff and environment. We hope it doesn't change, because we will be back. Ask for Diamond, she will help you out.
Been here several times. The food has always been delicious and very large portions. We have never been disappointed. Restaurant is very pretty and tables are spread apart so your not too close to anyone. We tried buffets and others in the area, but this is oir go too.
The first time I had this breakfast dish I said it was the best breakfast I ever had- Crab Boil Skillet. The flavor is irresistible! Eggs gently cooked. The next time I had it there was a bit too much oil inside the dish and not quite as good as first time, so I think it depends on the cook. When done right, it’s incredible.. excellent flavors.
Very calm place, it was peaceful eating breakfast there. Stephen, the waiter was excellent. He knew my parents order by heart (they come every 3 or 4 months and ask for him). The best beignets I've ever had! The bacon was thick and not thin. My pancakes were pretty good, not too sweet!
The menu has been recently updated, so I tried the Shrimp Bien Au Gratin and the Cajun Pot Pie. Great dishes. Pics are below.
We usually dine at 32 but it was New Year’s Eve and no tables available so we went to Bayview Cafe in hotel lobby. To our surprise they had a special.Lobster, Steak, fingerling potatoes & heirloom carrots!!! It was 5 star dining, 5 star service from Mr Vu! The supervisor Faustina Nickolas was attentive and very professional! Best dining we have had at IP since buffet went away. Thank you all for a great start to 2024 - The Van Cleef’s
Delightful Service. Liz was fabulous!! I had Steak n Eggs . Steak was perfect. I only added butter, salt and pepper to it! Toast just the way i like it. 10 out of 10 recommend!
We went late in the evening, service was quick, food was good, but it was late in the evening and the rice was hard, the boudin balls and pickled cauliflower was very pleasing to the taste buds. Our server was very attentive. I will definitely do a round two on my next trip to Biloxi
I enjoyed this establishment. Beautiful decor, lots of space so your not close to each other. We had breakfast. I had the biegnet for an appetizer. Covered in powder sugar, light and fluffy. I would ask for syrup or honey for extra sweetness. Eggs Benedict sauce had the perfect hint of lemon. My friend had the ham and cheese omelet, she said packed with ham.
Low light relaxing ambience. We’ve been a handful of times. We loved it. The food has always been perfect, quick and generously proportioned. It’s one of the few places left on the coast that has genuine amazing customer service.
Loved the Bayview Cafe. The coffee mug is large and the coffee is great. I had an egg white omelet which was loaded with veggies. The grits were my fav! Our server, Jeremy, was friendly and fast. We will definitely return.

Great spot for a quick bite. The mater cakes were excellent. Crab cake on top of a fried green tomatoe! Sign me up please. And the sauce is excellent. Also got the chicken fried steak. Wow. Huge steak freshly fried with great flavor..... and the white gravy is really really good. My only gripe would be not enough mashed taters. Flavor wise everything was excellent. Will definitely go back.

My wife and I came here not to long ago. Been back a couple of times since then. Overall a good experience. It was a busy night but didn’t take long for us to get seated. Waiter came by, introduced himself, took our orders, and received said orders. The food was good and I guess m only complaint is the Cesar salad, the salad is normally mixed with the dressing but I didn’t get that here. The “lower” end restaurant would do it but not here. I’m just glad that the steak I order came out medium rare and perfect. I would come again if I’m in town.
Beautifully renovated. Service was great! Food was eehhhh. Best part is they’re open 24/7. I’ve tried it twice and had ordered a lot of food, nothing really stands out except for the garlic mash potatoes & cajun pasta.

First time eating at IP casino restaurant Especially at Bayview Cafe, restaurant is Clean and fast service but the food wasn't great. I ordered Bayview Cafe shrimp & crayfish pasta. The creamy sauce way over done. Less is better i feel more soup than pasta sauce.. the garlic bread is horrible, stale and so hard to chew on. I had 1 bite and spit it out. My friend ordered southern pot roast and I try 1 piece of beef. Not a pleasant bite. Updated on September 5, 2022 I am totally hand down for breakfast at Bayview Cafe. Food is fresh and very very good price. Steak and eggs are awesome, perfectly cook at medium as request. Beignet is alright but little pricy for 4 little Beignet. Little suggestion for the services, be more courtesy and consistent with the service doesn't matter how of their look. I know our waitress walked by our table 4 times and look at our empty coffee cup but not bother to ask if we need to refill our coffee, she asked 2 table across from our booth 3 times ( 1 middle ages, and 1 golden age white couples) , she asked a table on our right which 4 black ladies 2 times if everything are okay.
We've only eaten here a couple of times. The first time we were with another couple. On that visit, we found the food and service to be good, but nothing special. Today, after we'd worked up an appetite gambling, we'd decided to stop and have a bite of lunch. We were seated promptly by the hostess, and our waitress, came to our table and took our drink order immediately. She brought our iced teas (which were good) and took our order. Then walked out of our lives for the next 30 minutes. We flagged her down when she passed through our dining room, and asked if she could check with the kitchen to see where our lunch was. Curiously enough, see was able to immediately produce our meals. Explaining that most of her tables were in another dining room, and that the kitchen is understaffed on weekends. Understaffed or not, it was 2:00 in the afternoon, and they weren't busy. While the service improved markedly once she knew we were less than happy, that improvement didn't help our meals. The food was "ok" at best. You'd think they could use fresh lettuce in a salad and on a sandwich. But you'd be expecting too much. Next time we'll just leave and go to Waffle House.
The food wasn't terrible but everything was overcooked. Most of it probably sat around a while constantly getting warmed. We were here on Thanksgiving so hopefully the the janitor just needed a few extra bucks and held things down for the chef. Our waiter had a very strong accent and was hard to understand. He was also very pushy. Once we got pass the waiter, things came out fast and it was hot. Flavors weren't there. Presentation was nice. The restaurant was nice, has a lively atmosphere and it was very clean.

Was there last night. Could not be seated in our desired location which was only 1 table over where the host wanted us to seat. No explanation was given to my husband of why we couldn't seat 1 table over. The waiter came after requesting who our waiter was because no one had acknowledged us after 5 minutes of being seated. When we finally received our food not sure why it took so long because the place was not crowded. My Mahi Mahi was cold and not fully cooked in the middle it appeared to still be raw. The chef seemed to have sautéed the outside of my fish in a pan but didn't make sure the middle part was fully cooked. There was a very small portion of grits served under my fish that was indulged in a watery sauce that was cold. The only thing great about this whole dining experience is that the manager could easily see that my food was not prepared properly. Our waiter never asked if we wanted refills for our drinks. She hide behind the wall until we requested our bill. No TIP was purposely done because we received horrible service and normally we tip big!!!!
You just have to Love when Something is Working Great and then a New Manager comes in and has Ideas! Like take a Great Menu and start making changes and changing items for Cheap Substitutes, like the once delicious Hash browns to McDonald’s Style hash brown cakes, and bacon that has been sitting in a serving pan for hours, and a Steak as thin as possible why pay $30.00 for a $12.00 meal that is Better at the Waffle House, they were once a Great Place
This was our first visit and we were not impressed. Primarily because our server barely said 2 words. We noticed how she treated the other guests at 3 nearby tables and she was very talkative and spoke about the menu and other things. Maybe she was having a bad day and we were next in line to receive her rudeness, and lack of making our first visit inviting. My wife's fries were cold and the bacon on the sandwich was dried out and extra crispy. The bacon appeared to have been under a heat lamp for hours before we arrived. We asked for condiments on the side. The server brought out nasty containers with dried up grease, old mustard and mayo on the outside. However, another server brought out towelettes to clean the containers. Our server never offered refills on our drinks. She didn't even tell us if she was the cashier or pay at the door. If only she had paid attention, was nice, or told us about any specials she would have received more than 10%. We've had better service at Waffle House. I thought this place would've been more exceptional. After the fact, we should have requested another server as soon as she asked if we were ready to order. She never let us know that she was ready to write down our order, because she didn't say she was ready to take it. Overall terrible, but check in was great as well as the person who seated us. Manager didn't comp the cold fries, nor the old bacon. Only a slice of cheese cake we didn't order. This is a trend. I guess someone will put a 5 star after this post.

I was here for the first time and the last time, very long service despite the fact that there was no one in the hall. We have an allergy to some products and informed the waiter about it, they convinced us that they would not add it, in the end they added it. And we had to change the order and wait again. Very unfriendly manager. No one apologized for the mistake or the wait. I heard that there are many good places to eat here, look for something else.
Absolute worst service here. The food on the other hand is typically worth the money and has a great flavoring. I would say get the food to go, but their to go’s are unreliable (they do to go’s when they feel like it. We came once and they were doing to go’s. We came again and they said to go’s were unavailable, yet there were to go bags sitting on the table waiting for pick up.). The hostesses are rude and unhelpful (we were on the waiting list and the hostess was staring at us. She asked our name and said she called us. We never received anything except for the initial contact text letting us know we were on the waiting list. When we explained that to her that we had not received another text, while showing her our phone with no other texts except for the initial one, the hostess response was “well I sent it so” and proceeded to walk off. The server’s are hit or miss. We had Vin and he treated us like we were taking up space and was pushy to get us out. Nikki the bartender on the other hand, was very friendly and was able to effectively serve us drinks and food and provide excellent service throughout the meal. Considering my family and I come to the IP annually to enjoy our vacations, this is not a good impression on us for the casino’s front door restaurant.
I'm a influencer and I just left the location as I am staying in hotel room 1120 for Thanksgiving vacation. I will say that the food I got is cold, the waitress at desk is rude for no reason, and I took the liberty to edit the video I have of what I got so everyone can see for themselves. I will be making sure to do a review video on them when I get back in town.
Went for breakfast 2 weeks ago. Only one person serving the whole area by the bar. Took 15 minutes to get coffee. Took another 10 to place an order. 30 minutes to receive food. My spouse's meal was completely cold. My omelet was way over done, and looked like a fried egg omelet. I asked for another omelet, came out the exact same way! Told are server, but he just apologized and moved on. Server was very courteous, just very much overwhelmed with his workload.
Today was my first day visiting this restaurant and I don’t think I’ll go back. The service was exceptional, but that could be because it was extremely slow in the restaurant tonight. The food was overpriced for the amount given and the taster was far less than what was expected. I ordered Shrimp and Grits and the Jambalaya and neither tasted like any I have ever ordered. The Shrimp and grits only had three small shrimp, the sauce was great but the grits weren’t to my liking. The Jambalaya was poorly prepped and tasted like badly seasoned dirty rice. There was no other meat that I could identify except shrimp. The Shrimp and Grits had perfect presentation…
I grew up with a mother that cooked so poorly the UN considered levying charges of crimes against humanity against her for her culinary cruelty. Her worst serving was a five star experience compared to this place. Ordered pork chops. Thought it was tuna or sword fish. Dried out and DISGUSTING. Two orders of Spaghetti and meatballs served that would’ve been outdone by the fluids brewing at the bottom of a dumpster after a rainstorm in August. Collard greens… from a can? DISGUSTING. Gumbo? Chicken in the chicken and waffles was brackish and dried out. This is the worst meal we have ever had in a casino venue on the planet. This may be the worst meal I’ve ever had anywhere and that’s saying something. This was so bad we had to go and eat dinner somewhere else after stopping here. Do better.

I was really disappointed with my visit. When I arrived, I sat for several minutes without being greeted or knowing if a server was coming. I was handed a menu, but after seeing other people getting up, I assumed I should follow and try the buffet. Unfortunately, the buffet was very disappointing — the food had no flavor and the bread was burnt. When I came back to my table, I finally got a server, but by then I was already frustrated and only ordered a mimosa. I also noticed that as soon as a white table sat down, she went straight to take their order right away. However, she was quick to come to my table when it was time to pay. Overall, I left feeling very unhappy with both the service and the food.
I am not one to complain… to be honest this is the first time I have ever complained about a restaurant ever. I have gambled at the IP for years and love this casino. I always passed by the Bayview Cafe upon entering the casino and always wanted to eat there…. Breakfast I ordered the Egg Benedict entree… I literally took a bite of EGGSHELLS…. I did not complain as we were headed out. We stayed last night and had a free meal with comp points. So my husband ordered the prime rib meal for over 40 dollars and could not eat it because it was so dried out and the fat on it was HARD. I ordered the freezer burnt salmon for over 30 dollars. IP is a great casino but now I understand why the Bayview Cafe is always EMPTY.
Don't order turkey sandwich at Bayview Cafe! Turkey was from cans. It was SO salty. It was disgusting! I should have taken a picture. I forgot.
The waitress was nice, but we could not eat anything we ordered. We have never had food served to us this bad. It makes me wonder how this place got any positive reviews. Lucky for us there was a Waffle House nearby.
