We came upon this place by accident. On our way back from Luckenbauch to Dripping Springs we passed it up and decided to trun around and try it. It was a "hole in the wall" in a good way kind of place. You could tell they had their regulars and perhaps they didn't warm up to strangers quite the way my own bar would have but it had a good atmosphere that had " come back and see us sometime" vibes.

Small town bar that welcomes everyone! It doesn't matter if you're from another state, country or just another town ...You feel right at home sitting at the bar with all the regulars. Best Spot in Blanco to grab a drink!

I had not been to Iron Horse Saloon in almost 2;yrs. It was AWESOME. Great Bartender. She looked like Helen Hunt but much prettier. Her Dog Tilly is so so sweet . What I loved the most was how COLD it was inside. Wow. I didn't want to get back on the bike and ride in this Heat. 😆 Met some good people there as well.

Such a cool local bar! We were welcomed by all. Fire in the fireplace, pool tables in the back. Different games around the place. Bartender was fabulous. Got everything we needed. Fun place.

Always good cold iced beer and mixed drinks that’ll make the rough days go down smoother. 3-4 TVs playing sports or whatever the customer(s) prefer to watch. Pool tables are in mostly good working order, juke box works as it should. I’ve made this bar my number one destination and so far glad I did. I’ve never heard one customer complain of service or bad experience. So if you’re in the Blanco area or surrounding come to this location. You’ll be glad you did.

I think I keep missing the Bands.... Is there a weekly schedule? The place is set of great, very clean and ventalated. Love the different levels and activity areas. Bar tenders are always pleasant and to point.... Love the crowd,. Just need to catch some of that good music!

Waited 10 minutes to get served. One bartender was busy, other on was just talking and looking at cell phone. Another customer drew her attention to me. I didn’t say anything because I wanted to see how long it would take someone to notice me. Finished my beer and no one checked to see if I wanted another one because they were talking to other patrons.

They refused to accept my guys residency card. And we where buying a round for everyone at the bar to lighten up the vibes. I recommend going right down the road to shade tree, great bar with live music.

New Years Eve… stopped in, after hard work on the ranch, as usual and within 30 minutes, Police come to escort us out, claiming that we were part of criminal mischief, weeks ago. Seriously? What kind of lying, moral lacking, weak business woman, who claims to own the place, would choose to call police, instead of talking like a professional??? Cameras clearly show the 100% TRUTH, but she’’d rather lie and peacock. Her bartender, mini me, lied and so did the boyfriend, OBVIOUSLY on crystal meth or other mind numbing drug, stating that the bathroom was vandalized, by us, but guess what Einstein, cameras show reality. So, in closing, this place hasn’t the class nor business education, beyond that of a druggie controlled bar. Common sense prevails and the owner will be bringing us before a local Judge. Looking forward to it, because cameras do not lie. Loser addicts DO. This place probably feels victorious, but this Marine and business woman, laughs at the level of Ignorance and will happily frequent other places and spread the truth far and wide. We deserve what we settle for and no one deserves a lying staff and manipulative management. Classless, at best.

We went to enjoy some holiday cheer, on Xmas day and the little tyrant bartender, who was OBVIOUSLY hung over and very unhappy to be there, copped a nasty attitude, as we were buying drinks for friends and announced that she was cutting us off?? We had only had two beer each and two shot rounds bought for the group. She refused to give us a reason and we are no where near intoxicated. She was power tripping and bitter. We come there all the time and drink three times as much, always tipping well. She was someone we have never seen and she needs some attitude adjustment or a demotion. We hope to never run into her again!!!
