This is the BEST Carvel in Northern NJ. We’re celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday. Being that we’re in a pandemic, we’re scrambling & trying to make this a birthday my daughter will always remember. So on short notice I needed a custom ice cream cake with my daughters favorite colors. Went there on a Friday evening and placed the order, picked my cake up early Saturday afternoon. I would like to thank the staff there for being friendly, understanding & the GREAT service they were able to provide me on such short notice. I’d also like to thank them for the AMAZING job they did on the cake. My daughter absolutely LOVED it!!!

A great, local, neighborhood ice cream shop. Walking distance from my house. I LOVE the Cookies and Cream Carvelance! I've ordered three of them within the past week. Nicole always does an awesome job making each one!

Didn't get the name of the girl, but she made sure she served us as she was closing the store last night. Didn't have to do that as we understood they want to go home also. Ice cream was also great, so will return.

Always a great place to stop! I usually grab 2 of the bday cake ice cream in the pints already prepared. But I do have to say that the soft serve Vanilla still tastes as good as when I was a kid.

After having a not so pleasant experience the first time, I was pleasantly surprised this visit. Shonay who served us was absolutely amazing. She had superb customer service, excellent professionalism, patience and she made our ice cream well. Thanks Carvel.

Im a wednesday regular customer and boy I must say I do sure love the customer service I get here. I always get greeted as soon as I come and I dont even have to order my food, since the worker Brianna remembers it every time so she automatically makes it for me. She is very nice and my sundae is great everytime I get them, I thank the management since i’ve been coming to this carvel for years and it seems that they do a very well job training the girls to be nice with customers & fulfilling their needs with also keeping the place clean at the same time. Best carvel in Northern Jersey!

Travelin Unicorn

One of my favorite stops to make is here at the Carvel. I grew up loving Carvel cakes and to be able to go to the store and enjoy the different treats is awesome. Hussein, Desiree and other team members have been phenomenal, friendly and professional every time we go. I like that they sell small containers of the crunchies since that is one of the best parts of an ice cream cake. The waffle bowls are made fresh at the store. There are specials Monday- Friday. Definitely go visit this store.

Sometimes you're in and out with 5 people ahead of u sometimes you're in there for 20 mins with 1 person ahead of you. It all depends if you got a competent employee or not.

Ordered the Banana Foster Sundae Dasher. It contained a ton of Cinnamon powder which made me cough & ruined the Dasher by making it spicy. Cinnamon isn't part of the recipe or garnishment. I have this all the time so I know plus the description on the menu doesn't include Cinnamon.

Friday 9pm and they had an extremely limited menu. Hard Ice cream. I understand April is a more wintery month now but it was Friday night primetime nice weather should have at least the soft serve open. A shame.

Horrible. I asked for an OREO Cookie Sundae Dasher for my sister. My sister has severe Allergies to Peanuts. To our surprise we did not get Oreo cookie and it had Peanut butter inside of. She started having a horrible allergic reaction at Watsessing park where she started losing oxygen and her throat was closing. Medical response team was called and she was put in the hospital. If the OREO Cookie Sundae Dasher had peanut butter inside it, it should have been stated. This is a huge health hazard and people with allergies should be very careful.

He did not say a word when we walked in, didn't acknowledge us, and never took our order as he just made his online orders. Extremely unprofessional. Later a nice young lady came in she took our order and as we were leaving the same grumpy man was being rude and annoying to her as well. Please provide this man with better customer service training if at all possible.
