The snacks are very tasty and good-sized. Their menu is quite varied, and the snacks are super affordable. For 100 pesos, you'll get a pretty good meal. The atmosphere is 100% family-friendly. The service is very good; everyone is super friendly, and the service is very fast.

Veracruz is known for its Picadas. In a recent trip I set up to visit small and not necessarily known ‘fondas’. Small neighborhood restaurant where nothing but local cuisine is served. A staple from this centuries old town, corn meal flat bread, cooked and pinched (thus it makes) in its side to hold the different sauces and cotija cheese. Typically cooked on a flat surface grill, sometime mis with a touch of flash fried finish. These are succulent. Typically accompanied by a Gorda! Another flat corn bread deep fried and flavored by a mix of beans or brown sugar. These outfit was new to me, learned about it by a Facebook top-3 video someone produced. A well worth stop at this humble neighborhood place!

Muy buenas tardes, a mi me gusta mucho este lugar porque esta muy rico sobre todo me gustan las empanadas, las gordas y los platanitos fritos pero bueno, hoy vine a comer y pedi una jarra de litro de agua de naranja y se tardaron mucho, los demas que llegaron despues de mi les dieron las jarras de agua antes y ami de ultimo, porfavor mejoren eso buenas tardes.

We've been there several times, and never before have we received such excellent service as this time when we ordered takeout. The picadas, empanadas, and gorditas were delicious, the salsas were amazing, and the spice and flavor were just right. We had been avoiding going because the last time we ate there, our order took a while to arrive and it wasn't as good. It all depends on the time of day you go. If it's not crowded, everything is much better. Highly recommended for typical Veracruz-style snacks.
