Black Rifle Coffee Company block party in downtown Boerne. The VFW presented colors; Ana Tracy sang the National Anthem. Great classic car show · Live music by "The Lost Mule Band" ·
Walked in and welcomed to a busy BRCC themed coffee and swag shop. Shared space with a gun store. Serves coffee all day with an adequate breakfast and lunch menu. Worth the drive to enjoy a professionally prepared cup of your Black Rifle favorites. JB is the base coffee served. AK is used as their cappacino blend. Sells coffee, Tshirts Hoodies and 5lb bags of all my favorites.
Excellent and beautiful store. Organized military style!! Beautiful shop , great ambiance, excellent coffees! Highly recommend!!!
Veteran owned and operated, support your vets! We bought 4 bags of coffee, the 1776 and Betsy Ross were great. Bonus points for the attached gun store!!!
Stepping into Black Rifle Coffee in Boerne, Texas, is an experience that goes beyond just grabbing a cup of joe. From the moment you walk in, you're enveloped in a genuinely pro-military atmosphere that feels both welcoming and respectful. The decor and overall vibe serve as a tribute to those who serve, making it a great place for veterans and patriots alike. This isn't just a place to socialize; it's an excellent spot to be productive. The welcoming environment, combined with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, makes it an ideal location to buckle down and get work done. Whether you're working on your laptop or reading a book, the relaxed yet focused energy of the place is truly conducive to productivity. Of course, the coffee is the star of the show. Their selection of Hero Beverages is a must-try. I highly recommend the rich and smoky notes of the Smoky Joe Latte, or for a powerful kick, the Jet Fuel Black is the way to go. The 1776 is another fan favorite, a nod to American history in every sip. My personal go-to is still the Betsy Ross—its classic, bold flavor is absolutely my favorite! The service here is consistently superb. The baristas are not only friendly and efficient but are also knowledgeable about their products. They're always ready with a smile and a recommendation. Overall, Black Rifle Coffee of Boerne is more than just a coffee shop; it's a community hub that honors our military, provides a fantastic atmosphere for work, and serves truly excellent coffee. Highly recommended! ❤️🇺🇸 💙
I wish we would have gotten our server's name because he was awesome! They were fairly busy, and he was incredibly patient and informative. He even offered recommendations for things to do in the area for the day. Our lattes were delicious! My husband even picked up a pack of cigarillos from their humidor. We'll definitely return to this original brick and mortar Black Rifle next time we're in Boerne!
This was a cool little café. It had a live artist doing a painting in the middle of the café. They had a really cute pro shop with fun things to buy and the hot chocolate was delicious. My friend got coffee with cappuccino shots and we all got desserts some sort of apple caramel thing, a lemon, blueberry muffin, and a chocolate chip chocolate muffin, and everything was fantastic.
This place is wonderful! I love the atmosphere and the workers are so friendly. Shout out to Kyle who gave us a lot of information about Black Rifle Coffee as well as the City Of Boerne. He is really well educated and even remembered our names! He’s a good salesperson and taught me about coffee pouches- how awesome. Excited to share them with my friends.
Black Rifle Coffee Company in Boerne, Texas, earns top marks with its exceptional service and piping-hot, flavorful brews. The frozen latte, a refreshing standout, adds a cool twist to the experience. The atmosphere, akin to a well-executed mission, sets the right tone. Plus, the diverse selection of coffees and gifts ensures there's something for every coffee enthusiast. A mission accomplished in delivering a satisfying coffee experience.
While my wife was shopping, I stopped in for a coffee. This was my first time trying a Black Rifle coffee. I had the caramel mock latte, which was good. It was a little more expensive than Starbucks, but it had a larger sitting area. Overall, I like my drink and quite time relaxing on their leather couch 😊
Very nice and friendly service. Merchandise as well as coffee and some lovely pastries available. Their blueberry muffin had an absolutely delicious creamy center. I ordered their horchata latte - delicious but a little sweet for me. I'd order it again just less sweet. My husband had their drip coffee and stated it was good with a bold flavor.
Great coffee options & really nice merch! The employees are very kind bathrooms are well kept and there are options for food and snacks for the whole family. Great place to stop by if you're just staying in the area or on a road trip. Parking was a little difficult but if you loop around once or twice he'll catch someone coming and going. Wish they would drive through it would make it very convenient Great location recommend stopping by.
Blended Mocha was great. Hubby had the sausage waffle sandwich and I had the lemon blueberry muffin. The sandwich was good but on the small side. The muffin was good, but personally I like more lemon flavor than it provided. It was a bit pricey for the size of the food items, but not horrible.
I like this shop but unfortunately it's now become too expensive. My cappuccino today with oat milk and choc syrup was $9.50 (not including tip). They are going to price themselves out of the market.
UPDATE: Wi-Fi has improved significantly during my last several visits and veteran discounts seem to now be regularly offered. Definitely an improvement over the last year. Coffee is above average and better than most options in Boerne. However, in the past three weeks, I have visited here three times and the advertised Wifi has been out twice. If your looking for a place to have a business meeting or work, make sure you have a hotspot available. Additionally, as a veteran, I was not aware that veteran discounts were available until it was offered to the person after me. Probably something that should be consistently asked of all customers.
Mostly came here because in my research of coffee in Boerne, this place came up. I was excited as one of the main things I look for is one-size espresso drinks and this place had it. However, the place ended up letting me down. When we came about 9am on a Thursday morning, there was only one person working. I understood as they weren’t busy and we were happy to wait patiently. But when it was finally our turn, I was super disappointed when I ordered two cappuccinos and was asked what size I wanted only to be offered 12 or 16 oz. I realize I’m in the minority and many Americans don’t realize that espresso drinks should be 6-8oz MAX. But their signage and illustrations made me think they new real coffee. Sigh. I asked if they could do smaller as according to their signage I thought it would be a real cappucino—like the Italians do. The friendly barista offered me a short cup of 8oz and I said yes! Our cappuccinos were fine. Nothing special. The brew was pretty good—not too bitter or burnt tasting like some places tend to do. But the cappuccino lacked finesse and texture. Obviously, I’m super picky. I realize this and it’s why I choose my coffee shops carefully after checking out pics and menus. But I do think it’s important to be clear on the menu about what’s offered. The cappuccino listing has one size and one price. That should be adhered to and made with the same finesse as other drinks. Not a bad place overall. Just not the place for me. It’s perfect for people like my dad looking for a hearty cup of black American style coffee and a camaraderie of patriots and vets as this place exudes.
I will preface this review as being only relating to the weekend after Thanksgiving (Dickens on Main) I love Black Rifle lattes, but I was immensely disappointed that they are choosing to gouge customers by raising their prices during the annual Dickens on Main festival. They have huge lines of customers waiting and then they get an extra $1.50 added to their coffees. There is nothing different in the product or presentation. I usually pay $8.00 with tax, tip and rounding up to benefit veterans, but today my total was $10.00 with the same tip amount and rounding up.
