A favorite local spot in Larchmont, have been coming here for years. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive whole way through. Ambiance is nice and family oriented. Food is high quality. Ribs are well prepped and taste so good. Burger selection is varied and all good. Appetizer side, have to try their nachos. Everytime, nothing is left. The buffalo wings are juicy and we'll seasoned. It gets busy at night especially Friday to Sunday so reserve table for sure.

The best ribs I had for a very long time. We had to wait about half an hour to get a table. But it was worth waiting. Really good, tender baby back ribs and perfect pulled pork.

Was here for an event. The food was alright but the service was fantastic. Don’t expect to be blown away by the event food (I can’t speak to the regular dining experience) but you’ll have a good time.

We had an ok experience. With all the rave reviews, I think we were expecting amazing food—it was fine. Took a while to get our food, 30+ minute wait for it after ordering. Our stomachs don’t feel great now… not sure if we’ll go back.

The place is great and the staff couldn’t be more hospitable. But we all need to pump the breaks and not over sell the food options here. It’s regular bar food. I’m just going to say it… the food is average at best. But that’s all you really need.

Don’t bother coming here. The food is fine but what really ruined the experience? The service. I came with a group of six, and our waitress was giving attitude from the moment we sat down. When we told her we weren’t ready to order, she literally tossed her notepad onto the table in front of me and walked away. No apology, no nothing. At that point, we honestly should’ve taken the hint and left, but finding a last-minute spot for six people would have been difficult. The service did NOT improve. Barely any check-ins, and getting anyone’s attention was impossible. I ordered the wings, and somehow the wings were cold while the sauce was hot. How is that even possible? Clearly Sherwood’s has figured out a way to ruin wings. The rest of the food was okay, and the place does have a cozy, laid-back vibe with TVs showing different games—but that’s about where the positives end. If you’re looking for good service or above-average food, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

People with attitude and rude shouldn’t work in public places. The old lady writing the name when you come in she needs to retired or learn some manner and learn how to talk to people. 2 hours wait and we were able to get a table left and never come back, also there was a pregnant lady there and no cutesy was given to her.worse place ever.

Waiting was the craziest. Still here for almost 2 hours a table for 4. Never have in my life again, I was introducing new people to this place. The person taking names needs to stay true to list not thinking or taking bribe from people to get sitting. Great food, poor customer service.

I want to be very clear and intentional with this review. I do not write negative reviews lightly, and I never aim to tear down local or small businesses. However, racism—whether subtle or overt—is unacceptable and must be called out. My friends and I arrived as a party of four. We are of Indian and Hispanic descent. When I approached the waitress to ask about being seated, she gestured toward the front with visible annoyance, as though our presence alone was an inconvenience. We then stood at the entrance for over 15 minutes. During that time, staff made eye contact with us repeatedly, walked past us, and actively ignored us. We were not acknowledged once. In a busy pub, we were treated as if we were invisible. The situation became undeniable when an older white couple walked in after us, stood behind us briefly, and were immediately greeted and seated—without hesitation. That moment confirmed what we had already felt. We walked out and will never return. I encourage anyone considering this establishment to reflect on the values they are choosing to support. No one should be made to feel unwelcome or dehumanized because of their race. This was not just poor service—it was discriminatory treatment. Racist behavior from staff. Stay far away

Baby back ribs and fries are good. Staff is terrible. Food came out at different times, we didn’t get her name, never got a soda and waited for 15 minutes or so before checking on us. Looks like they’re too comfortable with their regulars and not open to a more diverse audience. Won’t be going back any time soon
