Ristorante centrale storico. Cibo di ottima qualità abbiamo mangiato dei Balanzoni alla crema di parmigiano. Molto buoni e piatto molto abbondante. Abbiamo accompagnato con un calice di cabernet. Personale cortese e anche simpatico. Non economico ma vista la qualità direi bilanciato. Forse è un po’ caro il bicchiere al calice sette euro.

Locale Diana a Bologna semplicemente una garanzia. Atmosfera elegante ma accogliente, servizio curato e qualità che si percepisce dal primo all’ultimo dettaglio. Il cibo è eccellente, piatti preparati con attenzione e materie prime di alto livello: si mangia davvero bene e si esce sempre soddisfatti. Nota di merito speciale al cameriere con il codino: professionale, simpatico e sempre attento senza mai essere invadente. Sa consigliare con competenza e riesce a farti sentire coccolato per tutta la serata, cosa non così scontata. Un locale storico che continua a distinguersi per classe e qualità. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole vivere una vera esperienza a tavola nel cuore di Bologna. 🔝🍽️ Complimenti ancora al cameriere con il codino se non ricordo male Antonio. Fabio.

“Volli,fortissimamente volli!!” Un San Valentino voluto e cercato nel miglior ristorante di Bologna…e cosi’ fu! Ambiente e location di altri tempi ,tutto meraviglioso:camerieri in divisa,tutti educati,sorridenti ed efficienti,quello che cerchi e che desideri per una serata speciale. Clientela variegata,dalla coppia giovane,alle famiglie ,alle coppie age’,ristorante pet-friendly e pulitissimo. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di essere serviti da 2 camerieri gentili anche se lui,non me ne voglia se ho scordato il nome,ha avuto una marcia in più!simpatico,gentilissimo,attento e dal bel sorriso sornione di chi sa come trattare l’ospite! Ottimo ristorante, per me il migliore a Bologna, ambiente d'Antan, molto gradevole, camerieri gentilissimi, tavoli distanti, ben apparecchiati, con sedia in più per i cappotti. Vino pignoletto spumante, Antipasto di cortesia,tartufi e patate . Ottimi i bolliti misti con le salse, il friggione, e i fritti. Bello e vario il cestino del pane, con le streghine bolognesi. Abbiamo chiuso il pranzo con il loro gelato di crema con amarene. Il caffè ☕️ l'hanno servito con biscottini. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Menu ottimo. Abbiamo gustato delle fantastiche lasagne verdi e altrettanto fantastici balanzoni. Squisito il gelato alla crema con amarene. Il locale era molto affollato e discretamente rumoroso, ma questo si spiega per la prelibatezza dei cibi. Servizio eccellente nonostante l'affollamento

We had a wonderful experience here. The food was delicious and service was excellent. We had the Gran Frito Misto, the Vitello Tornato (because I wasn’t very hungry) and the Friggione (onions and tomatoes), a specialty of Bologna. Everything was just perfect.

#throwback2014 Not just a restaurant, it’s Bologna on a silver platter. Ristorante Diana is where tortellini in brodo gets the red-carpet treatment, wheeled to your table in a steaming tureen like it’s royalty. Since 1909, this culinary time capsule has been serving up serious Emilian soul food under the watchful gaze of waiters who probably invented table etiquette. Once a cafe, now a monument to meat and pasta..legends like Fellini, Mastroianni, and even the King of Belgium have dined here, probably getting lost in the velvet richness of their ragù. The decor? 1950s elegance preserved in aspic..all mirrors, white tablecloths, and the ghost of a clock that’s seen more power lunches than a Roman senate. Must-try dish? Tortellini in brodo, hands down. Or the bollito misto cart, a steamy parade of boiled meats that feels like grandma’s hug with a diplomatic passport. Come for the heritage, stay for the sauce. This isn’t just eating, it’s edible history.

Loved it. Hands down the best lobster pasta I've ever had. I thought they were a bit daring to have mixed down the lobster. It's always hit and miss when you order this dish. But it was beautiful, so so deep in flavour. The mixed seafood grill was also above expectations. We had read great reviews of this place but were worried due to it's central location they would get lots of customers simply due to this... but no. It was all very good. Ragu I would however skip. Aim for the seafood and fish dishes here! The cart with the boiled meat added to the atmosphere and many chose this as their main... but go for the ocean creatures if you like it! The best restaurant in Bologna. The service was excellent and the food couldn't have been better. The best risotto I have ever had. Steak was cooked to perfection. To end the meal, we enjoyed Gelato with chocolate sauce.

Very old school yet charming restaurant serving classical Bolognese dishes. Clearly a very touristy place, but the food here was seriously delicious. Ham from Parma, Tortellini in clear broth and Tagliatelle alla Ragu were yummy, but my highlight of the meal was the tableside carved bollito misto. Beware, that is a lot of meat! Wine list has an ok selection, but it was not hard to spot a good bottle. Service is old fashioned and heartfelt. Overall a place I would happily return to one day!

Un buon pranzo con un ottimo servizio. Tradizione e professionalità presenti in ogni momento. Menu bolognese autentico, piatti collaudati, carrello buono (in altre occasione ottimo) mi dichiaro soddisfatto, lo consiglio. I wanted to love this restaurant. But I do want to call our the things that took away from the 5/5 stars. my husband has a nut allergy and we ordered an antipasto to share. we ordered an app that was clearly listed as no nuts, based on allergy markers on the menu that were very clear, and received a dish that had nuts. When I called this out to the waiter, he said the nuts were called out on the menu (they weren’t, we checked) and that it was fine that only I needed to eat it since it was my husband with the allergy(even though it was clear we ordered a dish to share) (As a side note, this allergy treatment is pretty typical for the region. The food was good, but not spectacular. We loved the ambiance and restaurant, but for the price, we might consider something else. Lovely dinner, great for experience, could take it or leave it. TLDR: beautiful restaurants, worth doing if you have no allergies, don’t bother if you do, if you are tight on $$, not worth your splurge meal

The restaurant has kept its decor and tradition the same, in the best possible way. Every dish was comforting and generous portions. The unique highlight was the boiled meats paired with sauces and potato mash. A dish that I never knew existed in Italian cuisine and recommend to anyone wanting go beyond pasta and pizza.

Siamo venuti al ristorante Diana perché consigliato da amici, il cibo è piacevole, l'ambiente è accogliente, peccato per il servizio che ci ha davvero deluso. Capiamo che si possano fare errori e che ci sia molto da fare durante il servizio, ma ciò che ci ha lasciato l'amaro in bocca è stato il modo in cui il cameriere del nostro rango ci ha trattato, avevamo ordinato la selezione di formaggi e ci è stata presentata al tavolo alla buona e senza spiegazione, i primi nessun problema ma il tiramisù era lo scarto di crema dalle altre porzioni e senza bottone di cioccolato e cacao che gli altri camerieri invece servivano, inoltre spargendo crema su tutto il carrello dei dolci senza poi pulirlo, al momento del conto la mia carta di credito dopo il pagamento è stata buttata sul tavolo come una cartaccia. Possono sembrare piccolezze ma in un ristorante con tale reputazione e prezzo mi aspetterei molta più cura e rispetto nel servizio, peccato perché il cibo era alquanto buono.

Was a bit overpriced for what it is. Lasagna was bomb, bolognese cutlet was a bit overdone. House white and red wine were both tasty. Nice looking place and service was very good.

Food was ok. Not anything particularly wrong, but also nothing particularly right. The aperol spritz I was served did not have an orange slice, despite the table next to us did. Another quirky thing is that the bottled water is not opened in front of you. Not saying anything is wrong with the water, but if you are paying for bottled water it is comforting to know it's a fresh bottle.

The restaurant atmosphere and food is really more than words, amazing but my low rating is due to arrogant servers. They were not helpful. I asked shall i get chianti or Emiligiana wine and they were like you dont know the region or grape, it is different. Ok but i am not a wine guru and asking their suggestion. Anyway red house wine is not suggested, white is fine. Bolognese, beef carpaccio, special local fried seafood platter is suggested. Also parmesan risotto is not suggested. It is a really very protected old restaurant where you can witness old menus at the walls. They definitely train their servers about attitudes.
