We ordered, chicken bacon ranch pizza, pepperoni pizza, buffalo dip, Mozzarella sticks, every single bite of each dish was delicious, fresh and balanced flavor. Customer service was excellent! Don’t have pics of the food as my phone died and waiter was charging my phone. 10/10
We are from NJ and we are pizza snobs! We were so surprised how excellent the margarita pizza was! I had the red sangria and they made it to taste (I don't like sweet) and it was delicious. Diego was our server and very attentive! We sat outside at our request and it was delightful! Our first Boston pizza was a hit! Very reasonable prices as well!
Good food, drinks and service. We had the spring rolls for appetizers, and pizza (half mushroom and half chicken bacon ranch). Mushroom pizza has pepper flakes. Be aware.
My primary purpose for walking all the way here was to enjoy the patio but by the time I got there it was cold and windy. It is, however, one of the cutest patios in the city! I sat inside and inside is also great! The red sangria is amazing and the sausage and cherry pepper pizza was one of the best pizza combos I’ve ever had! I loved it here, I can’t wait to go back!!
Had an amazing time at Lily's for a 30th Birthday celebration! Food, Staff and Vibe is Great! Highly recommend the Pizza! And A big shout out to a super friendly staff who were so accommodating!
We were staying in a hotel nearby and enjoyed our nightcap every night with the Lily’s lovely staff. The decor is disarmingly feminine in a way that anyone would feel welcome. The large screen tvs showed sports on many nights but themed movies on others (we saw a Christopher Nolan theme one night). We had the pepperoni, sausage and peppers, and spinach and artichoke pizza. All were very good. Johnny was our bartender, and he was phenomenal! The manager and other staff all checked in with us and we’re so fun to chat with. Karaoke on Friday night was hoppin! Muchas gracias, amigos!!
Fantastic atmosphere at Lily’s! Our servers were super friendly and very attentive. Summers coming to an end, but they had a great outdoor patio situation and a really fun bar on the inside. Great place to meet with friends after work!
I was looking for a simple, affordable and delicious place for dinner in the area and saw Lily’s. It truly hit the spot in every way. Super affordable. Delicious pizza and cider and it was nice and quiet sitting outside. The service was quality too. If you’re looking for a yummy and affordable meal that’s not seafood or Italian go here
Really good pizza and tacos and the vibe was so nice too! Our server was such a star, think her name was Esther
Lily’s was great! The pizza was delicious and the service was top notch. We had the pepperoni and cherry peppers, the tater tot, the Mac and cheese, and the spinach and red pepper pizzas. Our server answered all our questions and let us sample two beers before we ordered. Great place to bring teenagers along.
Tried this place for the name and great reviews.(Anyone remember Lily's at Faniuel Hall?) Absolutely did not disappoint. Excellent taco salad with a nice light vinaigrette dressing. Mint gin & tonic was very refreshing. But the tuna wanton nachos were outstanding! Cool decor...great tacos...fun courtyard...highly recommend this place!!!
First and foremost, our waiter Hayes was outstanding in his service; super welcoming and great vibes! We shared these tacos which were perfect accompanied with amazing cocktails (espresso martinis are a must). Would definitely recommend to anyone reading this for a great time
Delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere. Relaxing yet upbeat music playing. Server was professional. We got the Spinach Roasted pepper pizza and the crust was tender and perfectly cooked. I think the cream sauce had ricotta (which I don't generally like) and lots of garlic. We also got the chicken taco bowl and loved it. The Lettuce had a mild dressing and all the toppings went well together:avocado, beans, corn, cotton cheese. Yum! So good. We were unsure bc there isn't a lot on the menu but they are great at making the stuff on it so.if you find somethingthat seems appealing, give them a try!
Lily's is a Hidden Gem (not for long) in Boston! It was an absolute blast and the owners/employees were exceptional with their service! We were coming out to Boston for a work event and they took us in last minute. Also, the outdoor patio is impeccable. The vibrant ambiance inside is just as nice! Thanks for taking care of us, we'll definitely be back soon!
Our sever Peter was super attentive and had great drink recommendations! I saw this place walking through town and immediately made a reservation- it did not disappoint. Clubby fun music and the outdoor patio was the perfect vibe. Definitely recommend for a post work or weekend dinner & drinks spot in the financial district! ✨
I liked the atmosphere in the patio. The pizza had a nice crunch to it but not enough sauce. Good prices though.
Went to Lily’s to grab a bite and discovered this REAL HIDDEN GEM. The staff is welcoming and warm. The food and drinks are delicious. Make sure to check out the patio - great place to enjoy warm evenings. 10/10 would recommend!
Truly amazing place. The team who works here are genuinely awesome people. The pizza is amazing as well as the cocktails. A must when you're in the neighborhood.
I went to celebrate my birthday with friends and we had a great time, good atmosphere, live music on a Wednesday, excellent service, good food and they even gave me a free drink! I would go back again.
I love sitting outside here!! Loretta is the best. Always have a good time on a Thursday or Friday night! Great drinks and you should try the steak and Philly cheese steak rolls.
Super chill here on the patio! Great for hanging with friends or making new friends. Liam & Peter are the best bartenders out here! Pizzas are on point too!
Incredible tacos and pizzas! Also really unique atmosphere. Friendly staff. I highly recommend a stop here.
Amazing place, amazing staff, amazing drinks. We were offered the Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini to try and it was to die for. A must try for anyone in the Boston area!!
Delicious BBQ chicken pizza and very good beer. The excellent service.
1st time in Boston. Great service decent quesadilla. Draft beer was good. In the financial district. Atia was a great waitress!
Comfortable, nice decor and fun music but GREAT food and drink. You have to get the poke nachos 🤤
Really cool spot near the financial district! Great pizza, super friendly service and a very fun vibe. Definitely recommend!
Alberto was the best! Vibes were great and kept us laughing and ordering more drinks. Will def come back.
Esther was our server and she was amazing! So accommodating to our large party of people for a friend’s birthday. Would highly recommend- our favorite was the nachos and the Mushroom pizza!
the pizzas were amazing and cooked perfectly, good quality and amazing service, surprisingly completely empty while we were there which is such a shame! toilets weren't the best but expected from the pub like environment.
Cute place with funky vibe & very interesting decor. Nicely dimmed lighting, good music playing that was at perfect volume. Pizza was excellent, nice thin crust that wasn’t overly crispy, just the perfect amount of chewy (you know, you’re not stuffed with dough!). Our family of four had three pizzas & still left with a full as takeout. Priced nicely for Boston. You should go!
A great bar, with a very welcoming atmosphere. They have an excellent drink selection. We tried the cucumber lemonade (vodka based with cucumber and lemon. It was surprisingly not at all sweet) and a local cider. Food was also very good. The pizza was delicious (sausage and cherry pepper) and the crispy cauliflower starter was a standout!
Last night was our last night in Boston and we found lilys ealier in our trip. It was really good the first night so we wanted to go back. When we got there they were full. But made an exception that if the people showed for ther reservation we would have to move. We was ok with that. So we ordered pizza and drinks. The food is amazing. Our waitress was wonderful. Definitely recommend going there.
Tried the sausage and pepper pizza, incredible. Perfect crust, great balance of flavor, and just the right amount of heat from the sausage. The patio vibe is awesome and the staff was super friendly. Definitely coming back for another slice!
Excellent location in the financial district. All the staff is super friendly, Ester, Ray et all; and the mushroom pizza is probably the best pizza I have ever had. So good, we had it a second night in a row!
Delicious! Ordered the spinach and artichoke pizza and the mushroom with carmelized onions and both were delicious. The waitress, Julia, was lovely, and super attentive.
The service was great, the atmosphere was very nice, the food was great! We ordered some apps, and a few pizzas and all of the food was delicious. My personal favorites were the cauliflower appetizer and the buffalo chicken pizza! I loved all of the decor, the Zach and Kelly on the bathroom doors and the wall of old cell phones was so unique.
Dive on in! This quaint little dive bar is home to some of the most deliciously creative dishes I've had in the downtown Boston area. Came in around 8pm, wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a chill place to eat and this was perfect! It was surprisingly quiet, but not shocking for a Tuesday night. A small one page menu was more than enough to keep me debating on just how many pounds I wanted to pack on; From the buffalo chicken rangoons to the cauliflower pizza, everything sounded so amazing... and it was! Everything is pretty reasonably priced, with enough options for everyone to enjoy. Once again, I have to express how GOOD the good was! The ONLY thing stopping me from giving this place five stars was the service. For how quiet this place was, staff was not eager to help and spent a lot of time talking to each other while we waited for them. Don't let that stop you from giving them a shot, however. I would 1000% come back.
The pizza was decent but the wings tasted like they were frozen with some sauce thrown on them. I was disappointed with the food. Tyler was great, though! Atmosphere was fun and comfortable. It was good vibes!
Had a simple Margherita pizza. It tasted great, but — I’m not sure if it was intentional or aggravated by serving it on an aluminum platter or whatever — the pizza was only barely warm on the first slice and just about room temperature by the last one. $22 before tip total for a one-person ($17) pizza and some ($4 !!!) iced tea. $4? What, do they steep the water with ground up elves or something like that?
Pizza was good. Service was slow though. Took about 20 minutes to even take my drinks order. They seemed too focused on giving a photographer fresh food & drinks to take picture of.
I found Lily’s Bar-Pizza-Patio on Monday, March 14 2022. I had just arrived in Boston for a two-night stay. This was actually my first overnight trip to Boston proper. I was staying at a hotel not far from the bar/restaurant and was looking for pizza. This was the closest place that was open on a Monday. It is a short walk from two Marriotts, a Hilton and the Boston Harbor Hotel to name a few. This is not a dive bar but a restaurant with a nice bar, sort of an independent sports bar. I sat at the bar though there were plenty of tables and not many people that night. The food menu is not extensive but reasonable. They did not have wings which I thought was a bit strange for a bar in New England. I ordered Artisan Smoked Pepperoni Pizza and a glass of reisling. I watched sports news on multiple screens while waiting for my order. It was not very long. The pizza was thin crust and very good. It had a tangy sauce and plenty of pepperoni. The German reisling was very good also. The bartender was pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was nice for a drink, to eat, to hang out with friends. It would even be reasonable for a first date. I would definitely eat there again and almost did after I extended my two-night trip to a third night.
I like Lily’s. The decor, vibes, and service are always good. It gets really crowded at no fault of their own, but I can’t help but think the layout could be improved for the post work rush. Food is standard, pizza is good! They have a varied beer selection and make good cocktails. I like that they have espresso martinis from the Tradesman across the street.
Enjoyed sitting outside for a drink. Guitarist was great, service was great, atmosphere was nice. The chicken sandwich is not good at all though. Its about 80% skin and the chicken is about 70% smaller than the bun. It's shaped more like bacon. The side of chips were soggy and gross. In general, I think the food here is more akin to a dive bar, but it is presented as it's its higher quality. But for a drink and a snack its was good spot, but I wouldn't suggest dinner here.
I liked it here BUT they need to label spicy food as such. I couldn't eat my dinner as spicy despite no mention
First time here, even though it’s only a block from my place… really excited at how cool the places, looks like an English pub and the employees were really nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. the pizza tasted really good, but it was undercooked… and the salad really small for $18 and was missing the avocado, and the ranch dressing had very little taste. Both are very solvable problems I will give this place another try, hopefully they can fix those small food issues, otherwise it would be a weekly regular spot for me
Would not recommend visiting this place. Cons: AC was dripping on us during our meal, it took a full hour for us to put in our drink order from our reservation time and there was no one else in the restaurant, drinks were meh and not very strong. Our server was new and was trying so hard, but none of the other staff were helping him. Overall felt frustrating. Pros: Fun games out back and the $2 tacos on Tuesday are good. But they end “when the kitchen ends them” which was approx 8:15?
The food is great and the service excellent. BUT, they seriously need to put some carps or something on the patio on the back! couldn’t enjoy my food because the birds defecated all over it!!!! Will return because of the vibes inside, staying clear of the patio 🤚🏼
Several people have mentioned that this is a hidden gem. Our vote is that it remains hidden. Slow service? Let me put it this way, if you have a birthday in the next several months, place your order now and you might receive it by the time your birthday rolls around. The attached picture is our empty plate still waiting after 45 minutes. Our food was actually served to the next large table over and was mauled before confusion was righted. "Artisan" pizza is more akin to Chef Boyardee. And taco Tuesday is actually taco Wednesday morning. Breakfast burritos anyone? They do get two stars because the befuddled staff were at least friendly, bless their hearts.
Staff were super lovely. Drinks were great. Atmosphere was good. However… pizza was godawful. Chicken and blue cheese smelt and tasted like vomit (far too much blue cheese), mushroom has way too much undercooked, thick onion. Sorry, but we wouldn’t return.
