We went to this great little space on an unusually cold day. We had apps, drinks & Irish coffees to warm up on the huge enclosed patio with such a great view. We ❤️finding places we can bring our little pups along,& this was a gem.
Excellent lobster quesadilla, oysters Rockefeller, & crab cakes. The house made chips are delicious. They are cut just the right size & have a beautiful texture. Overlooking the water in the outdoor dining was a bonus. The drinks were delicious & service was impeccable.
Loved everything about this spot—great food, friendly service, and unbeatable waterfront views! We came with a group and shared apps like loaded chicken nachos, peel-and-eat shrimp, calamari, ahi poke, and grouper bites. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the margaritas were on point. The staff was super welcoming, and the laid-back, coastal vibe made it easy to settle in and enjoy golden hour over the Anna Maria Sound. Perfect post-beach stop or sunset dinner spot—can’t wait to go back!
Food was amazing!!! The view was even better!!! We are next to the ocean. Fishes jumping while we are eating. Was an amazing night!!!
My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch after horseback riding on the beach with Cponies, and needless to say we are ready to come back for more! The food was super tasty, the drinks were made with love, and the service was fantastic! Our waiter, dayrell (sorry if I spelled this wrong) was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! 10/10 would recommend 🤩
Awesome food! I had lobster grilled cheese sandwich! Loved sitting outside on the water! Thanks, Jennifer, for taking such great care of us! Great vibes! Ate here again today. Amazing food and amazing service from Keller, Logan, and especially, Michael! Thanks soooo much for taking great care of us!
Over all, food was good. Great service and a fun nautical vibe to the place.
Great low key spot on the intercoastal waterway. Open air and indoor seating is both nice. This is a great spot to walk into for lunch or dinner.
It's definitely worth IT! From the Front Door to the Wait Staff, Thank You for the Great Service 5⭐️'s Awesome Hospitality, Great Atmosphere, Amazing Food and Water Views! Let's NOT Forget the Solo Musician👏🏾 Aniya, you were Awesome 👌🏽 Thank You for your service, professional suggestions, and Sweet Demeanor! YOU ROCK! Great spot overlooking a marina and looking out at the bay and Anna Maria. We were in between the lunch and dinner crowd at around 3:00. Wasn’t busy, we found seats at the outdoor bar. Our bartender was nice but didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. We had the calamari, lobster quesadilla which was loaded with lobster, and the tuna poke bowl.
We love going here!! The food is great, the atmosphere is beautiful the sunsets are incredible. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who is going to be in the area.
My husband and I decided last minute to go for Christmas dinner and we are so happy we did. I don’t know who the chef was but the food was absolutely delicious! They had a butternut squash soup, christmas tree salad, ham or prime rib, mashed potatoes, green beans and for dessert was pecan pie or bread pudding. Between the two of us we had all of it and there was not a disappointing bite in all of it. Ahhhmazing! Would love to see some it become regular dishes on the menu. Our server Jennifer was quick, efficient and very friendly. I honestly can’t wait for next years meal but in the meantime i will continue to be stopping in often for nice sunsets, drinks and other delicious items.
The ABSOLUTE best 💯!!! We had reservations, arrived early and were accommodated immediately. The staff from entering the door to paying the exiting the building were all smiles, extremely pleasant and all around professional. Mr, Long Island 💖 gave us the best sunset view for dinner although there probably isn't a bad seat. Aniaya was our fantastic server, all smiles and super pleasant, and the food was delish! I will absolutely be back, thank you all for making my birthday so special 💕
We were looking for a place to enjoy lunch and came across Floridays at the Margaritaville Resort — and we’re so glad we did! With over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, I tend to be a bit particular when it comes to dining out. That said, we absolutely loved everything about this place. The location is stunning, set right on the water, creating the perfect laid-back coastal vibe. The food was excellent, and the service was truly top-notch. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a meal here. We will definitely be back!
5 stars without a doubt. I don't know where these bad reviews are coming from. My husband and I came here for a lunch date during our family vacation. Not only were we greeted by a super nice hostess, we ended up with an even better waiter. He was quick to get our drinks out to us and take our request for an appetizer. We ordered the fried green tomatoes with candied pecans and goat cheese. They were so delicious. I'd even say they were better than the ones I got from The Whistle Stop Cafe in Georgia earlier that week. So that's saying something! For our entrées, my husband ordered the pineapple sirloin and I ordered the fish & grits. Both were amazing. The portion sizes are so big that neither of us could finish our food entirely. Yes, the prices are a tiny bit high, but have you seen the prices at other places nearby? I think the prices are actually pretty fair. Ask to be seated outside if you can. We were able to watch dolphins while eating. My one and only complaint would be how long it took to get our check. Other than that, not a problem. We've been coming to the area for 30 years now. When I saw this restaurant being built a few years ago, I knew we had to try it. I'm happy we did. We will be returning customers!
Went here for Valentine’s Day and was blown away by the atmosphere, service, and quality of food. Everybody we interacted with was lively and friendly. Service was prompt and attentive. Food and drinks came out timely and was well presented. The food was superb. Oysters were perfectly shucked and presented. Ahi was a large portion perfectly seared and crusted. Calamari was crunchy but not over cooked and was well seasoned. Crab stuffed hog fish was great fish was perfect and crab was fresh. Shrimp carbonara was amazing well sauced and delicious. Finally the pecan pie special was also great. The crust was flaky and not dry and the filling was perfect. Great celebration dinner.
This is a wonderful spot just off the island with wonderful views. The food was very good Florida Beach Bar and Grill fare. We loved the fried green tomatoes appetizer. My wife had the shrimp gumbo and I had the deep southern fried chicken sandwich with curly fries. Good and tasty, but not exceptional. We had an outside table overlooking the water and the sunset. Service was excellent.
Christmas Day... of course it was s busy dinner time. On spite of short staff, the server was friendly and on top of our order. I recommend you give it a try!
This place was perfect for a dinner with the family. We were searching for places to eat and we found this place and it was amazing. The staff was so nice and the view was amazing. It made for a perfect sunset view. We got many things to try including the crab cake and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. The crab was good but the fried green tomatoes were ok. Then for dinner we got burgers, fish, sandwiches and a salad. Everything was delicious and just right. The burgers were juicy and the fish was fresh. For dessert we got the strawberry cake, key lime pie and the pecan pie. They were the perfect amount of sweetness. Our server josh was super nice and helped us with everything. Overall 10/10 would recommend to everyone in the area.
First time dining here. Was a great experience. Sat out on the patio overlooking the water. Casual dining. Bloody Mary's were excellent and so was the food! Ordered a couple of the salads, fish tacos and grouper sandwich. All were very tasty. Server was pleasant and had a great personality. Restaurant offers indoor, outdoor dining. They have a fantastic sized bar outside. We will definitely be back!
Took visiting family here for lunch. Made reservations but they weren't really needed as there were available tables. Nice decor inside and nice water views of the sound outside as well as from some inside tables. Our server Katie was friendly & efficient. Our group ordered the calamari appetizer, Florida Cobb salad, shrimp burger, crab cake sandwich, fish & chips & key lime pie. Everyone was happy with their choices. The shrimp burger had whole shrimp not chopped shrimp as I anticipated. I am sure eating at the outside tables is beautiful at sunset. We were happy with our decision to finally try this spot. It has varied menu choices for seafood & non seafood eaters in your group. Will go back.
I’ve probably driven by Floridays numerous times, and I’m so glad I finally got to try it out. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, but the best spot is definitely outside due to the intracoastal views. You can enjoy amazing sunset views from there as well. The service was great and very attentive. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller and Cajun shrimp with naan bread, both of which were fantastic. I had never tried naan bread with shrimp before, but they made a great combination. The oysters were delicious, though the only downside was the salt rocks that stuck to the bottom of the oyster shell. You absolutely have to try the strawberry butter cake for dessert. I had never had butter cake before, and it was incredible! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
Went there for lunch on a fishing day. They have a nice boat slip to eat there. We got the gumbo which was really good and a garden salad. The view and ambiance is spectacular. The bartender was very nice and attentive. We definitely be back soon.
AWESOME, great food, great service, great vibe/ seating. We sat outside and while it was hot, it was nice, the fans and breeze made it comfortable. Our server was GREAT and all the food was tasty, as were the drinks, they also offer military discount‼️✌🏽
I picked this place because the atmosphere (the view) was suppose to be great. For those who can't stand the smell of low tide, ok you won't like it. The food was fantastic, the staff (Brian, the manager, Kevin, the manager and, Johanna the server) was amazing. I was so impressed with the service that I am actually writing a review. (Not normal) thank you for giving us a great anniversary. We will return.
Was really surprised by the quality and selection of the menu. My expectations were definitely surpassed when we received our food, it was excellent. Great atmosphere as it is right on the marina and the staff is awesome. Definitely will be back.
We are so happy with our experience. The location is beautiful. The food is yummy. And the staff are really nice. We will definitely be returning. I got the shrimp burger. It was amazing. Hubby got fish and grits with collard greens. He said they were really good. We saw dolphins while we were eating. And the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend
I went here with some friends for drinks and dinner and had a great experience overall. We sat at a table overlooking the water and it was quite pleasant. The people who worked there were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend going- great atmosphere and good food!
Opened a few weeks ago we decided to drive up Anna Maria to try out this seaside seafood grill. The setting on the bay is beautiful. Interior decor feels authentic with cool Florida vibe with island music. The food was excellent. The grilled oysters with collards and cornbread topping was delicious and the Manhattan clam chowder filled with seafood chunks. The crab cakes with creamed corn was yummy and the Bloody Mary great. Our server Krindi was very nice. We really enjoyed ourselves.
The food was delicious, but what really made the evening special were the people. Our server, Russ, was fantastic — attentive, professional, and spot-on with his menu recommendations that truly enhanced the meal. And a big shoutout to Logan, our amazing bartender, who mixed incredible drinks with a smile and set the tone for a great night. Between Russ’s outstanding service and Logan’s talent behind the bar, they turned dinner into a truly memorable experience 💕
The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. But what really made our visit special was our waitress, Jennifer. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her great attitude and menu knowledge made the whole experience even better. Floridays has an awesome vibe, fantastic food, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back especially if Jennifer’s our server again!
Decorated beautiful for the holidays minimally but very clean and inviting! Large deck on the back with a Tiki cover. I enjoyed the Wagu Sandwich and the bread was perfect. Fries were a little underwhelming for me. My husband said Grouper Sandwich was pretty good....not the best but good. We stopped in later in evening after the beach. Convenient spot for a quick bite.
I had a decent experience at Floridays Bar and Grill. The food was good—not amazing, but solid enough to enjoy a meal. Service was friendly, though a bit on the slow side, especially when waiting on drink refills. There was also a faint smell from the nearby water that was a little off-putting at first, but it didn’t ruin the overall vibe. The atmosphere was relaxed and the location has its charm. With a few small improvements, this place could be great.
A nice experience at lunch today. First there were 13 of us and Katie did a great job. Clam chowder, grouper and calamari were reported as excellent. My Cuban was good. The Nawlins burrito was also reported as good. Portions were all pretty large. A good experience. Recommend you stop in. PS I am never a fan of a mandatory tip added to the bill.
Great atmosphere with a nice view. Did not try any food, but a beer I tried tasted bad so had to switch.. Reg service.. I felt that the kids at the bar were selectively friendly.. nothing wrong to me (as a first timer), but there was another dude who waited for about 10 minutes and had to walk away not getting attended probably due to selective friendliness, which I thought could have been avoided!
Stopped in for pretty much .....Brunch. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and my friend ordered Fish and Chips. My chicken sandwich was hot and crispy. The sandwich had decent flavor and the vegetables were fresh. I had a cucumber tomato salad which was okay. The tomatoes were a little soft and didn't seem super fresh. My friends fish & chips were good she said. The fish was flounder and a decent size piece. The coating was nice and crispy. She was happy that it wasn't beer batter. We both thought that the fries were okay. The server was nice and the restaurant was pretty clean. Outside the restaurant had an awfully bad smell.
The spicy gumbo was fantastic! Our server, Aniya S was awesome, very good at what she does. But, the "loaded" nachos were hardly loaded. Extremely weak on the meat, there wasn't but probably 1/4 cup of meat....a very nice place though, great atmosphere, but, not many bad atmospheres here in Florida!
The frozen cocktail drinks very dissatisfied and so expensive😒, the shrimps had a very unpleasant taste, like mangroves. I didn't like the food or the drinks; the only good thing about that place was the view.
I really wanted to love this place. I had met with both the general manager, Brian, and the head chef Ken during the day, and they were very nice. I had the hogfish with crab stuffing, seasonal vegetables, and mashed potatoes. The fish was under seasoned, the veggies were ok, and the potatoes were decent. My wife got the tuna poke bowl. She liked it other than the rice, which was hard as a rock. Her words. The ambiance was great. I didn't notice a smell at low tide, though the wind was blowing towards the water. Ken did stop by our table after dinner and was able to take constructive feedback. He even tested the rice and agreed. All in all, it was a good experience.
Decent drink selection. Peel and eat shrimp were good/ weren’t overcooked, hamburger was good. We didn’t like the nachos, fish or chicken tacos either. Nice location.
Really bad experience here. Linguine and scallops had no flavor. Same with the grouper and Chicken sandwich. In addition, our server took our order and we never saw here until we called her over to close out our check. Too many good places in the area. Won’t be back.
This is my 3rd visit to Floridaze and the previous two times were just meh; tonight just plain sucked. I ordered the grouper filet. Not good too fishy and tough. One order of hush puppies were hard other under cooked and runny. My gf had the steak tacos she said they were weird not good. My other two accompanying me one had the kids tenders she said were ok and the fried schrimo sucked too. I’ve officially checked floridaze off the list for restaurants to visit while vacationing here to Bradenton. Ami oyster bar 1000 percent better all around! 0-3 and at 158.00 waste of money!Go somewhere else!
Quick take: Too many really good places to eat in the area to mess with average food and below average service. Atmosphere is good and drinks were good. Would come back for drinks on the deck. Not for dinner. Very nice place with indoor and outdoor seating with an appropriate nautical theme.. positioned on the water provides great views while dining. That being said… the food was very average. Ordered fish and chips and it tasted like frozen portioned fish. Fries were good! Coleslaw was average to flavorless. Hush puppies were very good. The food gave Long John Silver’s vibes with Gulf Coast fish house prices. Clam chowder was decent but extremely salty. Drinks were tasty and strong. Unfortunately our service was very bad… our server had tables ALL OVER the restaurant. She explained that she’s a bartender filling in and it seemed as such. More than 20 minutes before any greeting at all, then the hostess had to get us water and we had to get our own drinks at the bar. Another 20 minutes before our server ever came to the table. Orders were wrong prices on the bill were wrong. Just about every aspect of service was not good with exception of kitchen speed… once orders were taken, food came out reasonably fast. Overall, too many really good places to eat in the area to bother with this place again. Would return for happy hour drinks though.
$11 for a beer!! They just raised their prices. I used to stop in here regularly after boating for the view and the ambiance. The service is excellent! However, the management apparently doesn't realize that you make more money by selling two $7 beers than ZERO $11 beers. I live just down the road, but I will now drive right past this place where there are any number of bars with great views and better prices.
If you enjoy the experience of dining with the smell of rotten fish and sewage, this place is a good choice. Layer on top of that a server who spent probably a total of 60 seconds paying attention to us throughout our meal (ordering included), and the fact that we waited quite a while before our food was brought out cold, and this place easily adds up to the worst experience of our visit. Maybe we got unlucky and caught them on a bad day, though they didn't seem very busy; most of the workers were sitting preparing silverware for the next day. It's hard to be charitable, though, with a server who looks and talks like she has more important things to do than to check in on our table. An embarrassing display overall, though I suppose the drinks were good. And if our food were still hot when it got served, it might have been decent, too, who knows.
If you're looking for a place to grab a drink, this spot has decent prices. However, beyond that, it will leave you feeling like you paid a whole lot of money for a whole lot of nothing. The service is agonizingly slow—unless you have the patience of someone who enjoys watching paint dry, you might want to steer clear. And let's talk about the prices—I've attached a photo of what you receive for a $19 appetizer! No need for an eye exam; that’s exactly what you get for that price. We also tried the crab dip, and it was barely enough for one person, let alone share. And trust me, we’re not big back eaters!! I won’t go into all the details, but definitely check with your server beforehand to see if any menu items are unavailable, or you might find that the dishes you have your heart set on are off the table. It’s a shame this place can't be recommended, as it does have a fun atmosphere by the water.
insanely over priced food for completely underrated frozen food. most non attentive bartenders i’ve ever seen. 1 tv on for football sunday. and then they put on a freaking soccer game??? waited 15 minutes at a non full bar just to be given menus and ask for drinks. bartenders consistently on their phones. only thing that was nice was the view. save your money. -11/10
Went there for Valentines Day, very disappointed, had to ask for silver wear. never brought second servings of drinks. Cooked a $39 fish incorrectly. Service was absolutely aweful. will never go back there again.
I had a very disappointing experience at Floridays last night. Our server, Russ, was extremely disrespectful not only to me and my family but also to his coworkers. He clearly needs retraining, and if that doesn't help, it would be best for him to be let go. If you ever visit Floridays, I strongly recommend making sure Russ is not working so you and your family don’t have to face such disrespect. Management needs to take immediate action and consider terminating his employment because no one should be treated that way in a restaurant.
If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. We went there to celebrate a birthday and we left saying we regretted even walking in the doors. I was in shock at the terrible service, the name of our waiter was “Russum” according to the receipt. He had the worst attitude and forgot our order. The food then came out ice cold and absolutely disgusting. I ordered stuffed fish and it came out burnt, cold and had a HORRIBLE smell of rotting food to it. I’m beyond disappointed. Thank you Floridays for ruining my birthday with bad food and even worse attitudes. Truly this place needs some health inspections and some attitude adjustments. I tried to reach out to a manager but haven’t heard anything. Absolutely disgusted. You pay over $200 for food and can’t even get a waiter with a smile.
