Today I ordered 100 items from Bonjour and everything from the food, to the service was immaculate! The bakery is spotless! And the associates was extremely helpful, they even told me which items were their personal favorites that I had picked up. As I was grabbing the order, the owner stepped out to say hello, she was such a sweet and warm person, I’ll absolutely bring my business back here as soon as possible : ) and you should too!
On a cold rainy day I had an event to attend but definitely in need of some coffee. So after getting of from the train I was looking down from the train station to see if there was any coffee place . And this one catches my eyes! When I get inside the whole place was empty, I figured it's the weather! Loved the decor , very clean, customer service is on point! I saw the sign it stated best croissant in town so you know me, gotta try that ! I don't live in that area , let alone in that borough. So can't say if it was the best in town on not ! But I enjoyed a lot of, it was delicious. I requested the server to warm it up . It tasted yummy with my cappuccino! I had the chance to talk to the servers & found out it's a woman owned business & I felt proud . Because it was kinda empty I get a chance & took some pictures lol ! If you are near the area this is the spot to come seat with a hot cup of cappuccino & your thoughts on a rainy day !
my fave bakery in the area. delightful pastries + great staff. Convenient location, sure but I’d make a trip solely for a chocolate twist and good coffee!
The lady who made my coffee went above and beyond, super friendly, making sure the milk and syrup was right, telling me about the pastries. Blueberry cream cheese pastry was delicious. Great cold brew.
The owner, the staffs (they remember you and your order. Which mean I’m guilty of drinking too much coffee 😂😂😂) When I go early in the morning, my croissant is still warm 😋. Their coffee is good and not bitter or too strong. The food is delicious, I usually take croissant, or scones. And for my birthday I treated myself to an “Opera” and it was delicious.
These are my favorite croissants in NYC! This place is unpretentious and makes perfect baguettes and French sweets. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy weekend breakfast or a baguette sandwich. Always friendly service.
« Bonjour Brooklyn »located under the kosciuszko J train , is the best place and French pastry to buy any pastries for any occasions . The front staff, the chef and owner are very welcoming , efficient , professional and ready to serve their costumers. Their pastries are fresh , and have a taste that will increase your appetit! The place is quiet , clean and neat . I personally recommend « Bonjour Brooklyn » Patry store located on 1154 Broadway , Brooklyn , NY 11221 for your purchases !!!!
Bonjour Brooklyn is the best French bakery I have ever visited! It instantly transported me back to my time in France. The pastries here are true works of art—the photos don’t do them justice. The croissants melt in your mouth! Please, please do yourself a favor and try this bakery. The service makes you feel right at home 🇫🇷.
I stumbled upon this French bakery during an evening stroll through the neighborhood. Though it was close to closing time, there were still a few tempting options left, and the server was kind and welcoming. I picked up a slice of opera cake and a savory puff pastry filled with ham and béchamel sauce to take home. Both were reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The puff pastry was baked perfectly, with the creamy béchamel pairing beautifully with the ham—it made for a light but satisfying meal. The opera cake was equally impressive: rich, well-balanced layers of chocolate and coffee cream, with just the right level of sweetness. Overall, a delightful experience. I’d gladly recommend this bakery and will definitely be back to try more of their treats.
Visiting from London, I can honestly say Bonjour Brooklyn has been one of the highlights of my trip. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the most welcoming and attentive staff—Manuela and Rita went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their warmth and professionalism set the tone for the entire experience. The service was impeccable—friendly, efficient, and full of genuine care. The cleanliness of the café was also outstanding, everything was fresh, neat, and inviting. I ordered a chai latte, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I was even offered a choice of milk, which made the experience feel thoughtful and tailored. And then, of course, the guava cheesecake—absolutely heavenly. Creamy, light, and bursting with tropical flavour. Truly unforgettable. Bonjour Brooklyn is a rare gem—excellent service, beautiful hospitality, spotless surroundings, and food and drinks that exceed expectations. Thank you, Manuela and Rita, for making my visit so special. I’ll be sure to return every time I’m in New York!
I’ve tried this place several times now, it’s a fantastic French bakery that seems to fly under the radar at times. I’ve had the plain croissant, pistachio eclair, chocolate and almond croissant, almond croissant, beignets, and spinach and cheese croissant so far - all fresh and delicious. Other than the beignets (which I believe are fried in some sort of vegetable oil), they only use butter, no seed oils. I would like to see them consider going completely seed oil free, as there are healthier deep frying oils, such as tallow or refined coconut oil, for example. If they are open to expanding their product line, I think there is a void of great donuts in the area, especially cake donuts! They also have started putting out mystery bags of leftover pastries at a very reasonable price, once, or twice a day (see the picture with the plate of six pastries as an example). Arianna is a wonderful employee and team member. She has been friendly and very helpful the last couple of times I have visited. Looking forward to trying their quiche, cheesecake, and Paris Brest, among other items soon!
INCREDIBLE FRENCH BAKERY 🇫🇷 A very unassuming bakery beside a train track creates the most delicious croissants. This area of Brooklyn is in between Bed-Stuy / Bushwick and feels a little raw. But the bakery itself is a very clean and spacious cafe. The parking lot is convenient if you drive 🚙 Inside, there is a large array of baked goods and pastries. I went for the croissants 🥐 and tried the Epinard Bechamel (spinach cheese) croissant. First bite was incredible. Hot and flaky and buttery. It was perfection from first to last bite. Paired with iced coffee 👌🏼 The owner is from France and she said there’s a lot of French people who visit and said the croissants are amazing. Oui, Oui, I agree! Absolutely incredible croissants here 👍🏼 Also BIPOC-Owned & Female-owned 💪🏼 If this bakery was in SoHo, there would be a line wrapped around the block. Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with a big smile, and they were very friendly. It was such a cute and beautiful bakery. They had a variety of pastries to choose from. And they all tasted very good. My favorite was the one with raisins and glaze on top. I highly recommend this place and merci beaucoup for the experience!
Love being assaulted by the wonderful smell of fresh pastry and coffee as I enter this bakery! It’s spacious, clean and well laid out. I enjoy sitting at the window and watching people go by on a Saturday morning while sipping fresh coffee and indulging in my choice of deliciousness. I love it here.
My husband and I decided after several sightings to enter for something sweet and let me tell you we were not disappointed. The bread pudding was hands down one of the best I’ve tasted. It was moist and not overly sweet. I had the obligatory chocolate cookie (can’t ever have enough). Nice size and flavor and not crunchy. I also had the coconut passion cake (kinda like flan) and it very flavorful with a Macchiato with oat milk. The decor was nice, spacious, with stools and tables throughout. And lastly the service was great. It’s nice to see folks smile and engage with their customers.
We have this new bakery on Bway. A few things, first of all the pastries are absolutely delicious, coffee is fantastic and the space is huge! The prooooblem here is that, even though the neighborhood is changing it is definitely not ready for a $5 macaroon. Yes they are absolutely delicious but not for the area. I wish they had other options for long-life locals. Yes, new neighbors will go in there but not the old community. Great spot thoug!!!
The staff was friendly and attentive. The space is sophisticated and really nice decor. Can't wait for seating to be placed. I can already see myself hanging there with friends. The pecan tart was to DIE for! I loved it! I hope this place stays for a long time. Going back soon for that pecan caramel tart! Yum!
Dropped in for coffee and a cake while I wait for an appointment. There’s a good selection of baked goods and there’s a few tables and bar/window seating available. The place is spacious and convenient as it’s right off the train station. Coffee was ok and the opera cake wasn’t bad either.
