Very fast-paced customary New York Diner. Limited diner breakfast menu but food was definitely good. Basic breakfast exactly what was needed and when in NYC you got to have a bagel for breakfast! Served fresh Mexican Coke from the bottle… a definite favorite if you have never had! Waitress was very polite and very busy. Always be ready to order as the staff are always working and busy.
One of the best places ever. The veggie burger was the most delicious 😋 and crispy ever. The fries 🍟 was the best. Crispy and Seasoned and tasty. The waitress was very wonderful and polite. Such a sweet woman I had tipped her 10, I wish I had my wallet I would of love to give $100 to her because she was on top of things. The manager Dennis is the wonderful best person in there and so was his coworker or the other manager. This is one of the greatest places to sit and have good food. Cheers.
This restaurant is situated very close to the Times Square, hence very crowded most of the time. Hands down, their service was great. We visited there twice for the breakfast and they did not disappoint. The bagels were soft & the omelets were tasty too. The staff was polite & helpful with the inquiries we made. The vibe inside the dining area is just great.
An excellent place for the breakfast. Great choice and even greater taste. Service is of the highest level you can imagine. We were served by a lady who also speaks Spanish, great waitress.
This was a great breakfast stop. Super thi k French toast and pretty decent bacon. My eggs were done right, sunny up, and my coffee never was empty. Service as it should be. Enjoy the Brooklyn Diner, friends.
Fast paced diner with loads of good food! It’s close to Times Square and busy but you don’t wait long. Staff is so very nice and friendly and the food is made with care. I had the waffle grilled cheese: so delicious! My only complaint is that my marshmallow was so big in my hot chocolate that I had to take it out! Haha! Not a real complaint though, everything was good and well worth the visit here!
I highly recommend this place, if ever, you are in Manhattan! I’m definitely going back! The food is tasty. The restaurant is clean and the decor is tasteful. The staff is friendly and courteous and make you feel like family, even though it was only my second time there. A special SHOUT-OUT going to Chris and Anna who now twice, gave excellent service!
We have reserved this in advance, this is recommended. The restaurant is located in Time Square. When we arrived there was not much space left. The menu is very different. What we ate was very tasty. They also take into account the wishes of the customer. For dessert we took a milsshake, which is definitely recommended. I would definitely recommend this place!
If you think you've tasted French toast, think again, because the Brooklyn Diner in NYC takes it to a whole new, almost illegal level of deliciousness with their Pecan and Raisin French Toast. This isn't just breakfast; it's a flavor fiesta in your mouth! The toast itself? Imagine a pillow fight between crispy and fluffy, and the toast is winning. Each bite is like receiving a loving, nutty hug from a pecan and a sweet, chewy kiss from a raisin. It's like they threw a party on the plate, and cinnamon was the DJ. Sitting in the diner, with its charmingly retro vibe, you'll half expect a waitress on roller skates to roll up and ask if you're enjoying the '80s sitcom of a meal you're having. The atmosphere is as inviting as a bear hug from your favorite uncle – you know, the one with all the dad jokes. In conclusion, if you haven't tried the Pecan and Raisin French Toast at the Brooklyn Diner, are you even living? It's more than a meal; it's an edible stand-up comedy show where the punchline is always delicious. Don't walk, run to try it, but maybe not with scissors. Safety first, folks!
On a recent trip to NYC we stumbled upon this amazing Diner, my husband and I went in on a whim to grab some lunch. Our waiters name was Ash, he was amazing! Engaged in great conversation, engaged in with us the whole time. He recommended I try the pastrami sandwich, which was incredible, I was so thankful I ordered a side of fries to go with it cause they were delicious!!! My husband ordered the bbq bacon cheeseburger! We both love a good burger so we spilt everything we ordered but dang! That burger is insane. The bbq sauce was so smoky and sweet and oh so good! We had such a great experience with Ash we kept telling him how good everything was and he was so happy we had a great time. We both enjoyed our meal sooo much! Thank you to everyone at the Brooklyn Diner, we will be back! Lots of love from your Canadian friends!
On a recent vacation, a week of which was spent in New York Times Square. We went to different breakfast place each day. The Brooklyn Diner was hands down the best of the paces we went to. The service was amazing as was the food
Just ate there for late breakfast. The blueberry pancakes were delicious. I’m convinced they make their own pancake batter as it just tastes better than any where else. The decor is very cozy diner and I noticed that every patron looked so relaxed. Like when they sat down at their booth all their worries just dropped off of their shoulders. Every customer looked liked they found the place that nourished them body and soul.
This isn't your average diner! This was fine dining. The plates are stacked, everything was prepared to perfection, and the staff was one of the best I have ever seen. They were incredibly courteous and by your side in the blink of an eye. Tonight we were in a breakfast mood with some other dishes mixed in between. Each dish was better than the last. I highly recommend this place for any and every meal.
Found ourselves in Times Square for a meeting, needed a decent meal after, but it's Times Square... Brooklyn Diner saved the day! Don't be fooled by the name; this is not a typical s diner. This is both a throwback to old times and an upscale cozy and quiet retreat from the neon throngs of people just outside. We had a cheeseburger but substituted the delicious challah bread toast instead of a normal bun. "Medium" arrived perfectly cooked and the fries are delicious - not too salty. Best of all was our most delightful server Ash. He made our day - we arrived frazzled and left with full and happy hearts. Remember, it's not an $8 eggs diner, it's a proper restaurant and you pay accordingly, but it's well worth it!
It was our first dinner in NY just near our hotel and this is exactly what you need after a long flight ! Typical American food, including all day breakfast (my dream!). The prices are fine for the area, the food is delicious and generous, the service is fast and the design makes you feel like you are in an American movie. Special thanks to our waiter Cheikh for being so friendly and welcoming, his professionalism makes us want to come back. And we will! Thank you so much Cheikh!
Breakfast All Day Everyday for me please!! Brooklyn Diner legit has the BEST ‘Perfect French Toast’ I’ve ever had - I am not kidding, takes a lot for me to say best. Please go here and try it, and if French toast is not your thing, don’t worry there are plenty of menu classics you can choose from! I also loved the pastrami hash and avocado toast. If you want some diner lunch/dinner time classics, you can’t go wrong with this 15 bite hot dog, it’s giant and oh so tasty!
I had a great time at Brooklyn Diner. From the moment I walked in, the host Gerardo was amazing — super friendly and welcoming. He really made me feel comfortable right away. The service overall was great and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend this place, and if Gerardo is the one greeting you, you’re off to a great start. It truly was a wonderful night 😁
During the snow storm we needed warm comfort food and found it here! Matzo ball soup was phenomenal. So flavorful and full of chicken. The waffle grilled cheese sandwich was yummy and filling!
So I needed some breakfast and this was an restaurant that was recommended by a friend. It didn’t disappoint. The staff was nice and they accommodated me eating by myself and fit me in on a pretty long wait so if you were in the area definitely stop by. The food was excellent. The service was excellent and the location obviously was great. If they’re really busy, the modifications to the menu may not be available but that’s understood. I had their scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee and it was spectacular. I will definitely come back and wanna leave everything positive for this place.
Great old fashioned diner. I love the atmosphere. And you can tell that they run the business like a well oiled machine. Our waiter Hayden was very nice and efficient.
Our dining experience was enhanced by the attentive and accommodating waitstaff, who went out of their way to cater to our needs and preferences. They were particularly adept at managing dietary requirements, ensuring everyone in our party had a satisfying meal. The menu offers a variety of delectable dishes, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The wine selection is also noteworthy, with knowledgeable staff ready to recommend the perfect pairing for your meal. Overall, the combination of exceptional food, friendly service, and a chic, comfortable setting makes this place a standout choice for dinner in NYC. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.
Brooklyn Diner is an awesome place for a great meal in New York! The classic diner setting is relaxing and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and we never felt rushed. It was the perfect spot for breakfast after a busy night, and the menu has so many options to choose from. Definitely a place worth adding to your list when visiting the city!
Fun atmosphere with hands-down great service. Our appetizer to meals were picked by our trusting waiter and we couldn't have been happier. You must try the chicken pot pie, it's nothing like what momma made you when growing up. It's packed with flavor and a layered top crust. The Mexican Bowl was just as good... and don't get me started on the cheesecake. Save room for dessert, the cheesecake from here was my favorite!!! Definitely a must have when in the city. It's great to tuck away into the warm diner and enjoy relaxing with great food.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited the Brooklyn Diner for the first time and was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is warm, the menu is diverse, and every dish we tried was top-quality. Our server, Hayden, made the experience even better—he walked us through the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and everything he suggested was spot on. Truly outstanding service and food. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to New York!
Excellent meal, wonderful atmosphere and amazing service. Waffle grilled cheese pastrami was different but very good, was like a New York version of a Monte Cristo. Both burgers where very good, order well done unless you like a little red. Loved the fries and the meal... 5 Stars...
I had been looking for a good diner to eat at for a long time and hadn't been able to find it until I came to this one. The atmosphere feels like an American diner from the 80's, with good music and a well maintained design. I want to say Tania, she was the one who took my order and was very cordial and respectful to us. And finally, the best: the food. I ordered the Home Run Breakfast and it was delicious. The taste of the pancakes, potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage was a pleasant surprise that I had been looking for for a long time and I finally found it. Congratulations to the whole team and I hope you keep making good food!
We went and had breakfast two mornings in a row and had the same server. Our server was by far the best we experienced during our three week holiday. The atmosphere is friendly, food was great (servings were so large we shared the second day.) and the coffee was AMAZING. Our server even gave us a cup of coffee to go. I highly recommend Brooklyn Diner for breakfast.
They deserve more than 5 stars! I can’t even begin to explain how thankful I am towards this company. The management and their employees and external. We had a NYE booking at the diner however had extreme issues getting through barricades and they wouldn’t accept our passes, I was in tears, a dream night I had saved up for and dreamt of, I thought was ruined. But the management and staff of this organisation went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we were provided something even if it’s not what we booked and we couldn’t be more grateful. They say everything happens for a reason and it sure does because we had such a magic time and certainly the best new years ever. My daughter (4 years old) was living her absolute dream with the staff and everyone involved. I can’t give enough credit. Thank you. And a massive thanks to Stephanie from the Fireman Hospitality Group.
Stopped in to grab some takeout to bring back to our hotel. I have a garlic allergy so I’m somewhat of a pain in the neck. I was directed to go to the bar to order. Leslie R. helped me out and was very kind. I told her what I was interested in and she went up to the kitchen to check with the chef if either option (chicken soup and chicken fingers) were safe for me. She came down and let me know both were safe so I ordered both. Yes, it’s 92* in July 🥵 but I am SO glad I ordered the soup. It is LOADED with tender chicken, celery, onions, carrots, and small noodles. I will definitely be visiting this place before we head home. I want to mention again how kind and welcoming Leslie was. She offered me to sit and a glass of water while I waited. I haven’t broken into the chicken fingers yet but they look delicious! Stop in…you won’t be disappointed!
The only reason the food didn't get 5 stars was the waffles. They are dry and not very tasty. However, the Pastrami Hash and Eggs and the Egg Biscuits were so delicious. The environment was chill and the diner is really cute. The bathrooms are clean as well and the mouthwash was full.
🥳Fantastic Breakfast at USA Brooklyn Delicatessen Times Square😍 Had an amazing breakfast at USA Brooklyn Delicatessen in Times Square😊We ordered eggs over light with softly cooked bacon, a veggie egg white omelette, and fresh coffee — everything was absolutely delicious and made to perfection👏The eggs were fluffy, the bacon melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the omelette was packed with fresh ingredients❤️The coffee was rich and satisfying — exactly what you want to start the day in the Big 🍎 The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend for a hearty, no-fuss breakfast near Times Square😘
This is such a great diner in the heart of Times Square. I dined here several times for breakfast while playing "tourist" with my most recent visit this past weekend. The staff here is fantastic. My server Tonia was friendly and very attentive. The breakfast menu was limited but has pretty good options and can seem quite costly. I ordered the vegetable frittata with the home fries, and it tasted great and had a good flavor. Coffee here is really good, too. The establishment is clean and appears more elegant inside than your average diner in spite of the outside looking retro. I really enjoyed the meals I have had here so far, and I definitely recommend that anyone visiting, whether local or not, to check this place out.
I was there for a late night dinner with my two daughters last Friday night. The staff is cheerful, efficient and polite. The place, although little dark inside with the wood paneling, is very clean, no dust to be seen anywhere. The Caesar salad was outstanding and the guacamole tasted almost as good as homemade, it was the perfect midnight snack!
We were going to eat at an Italian restaurant nearby but there was a 45 minute wait. There was no wait at the Brooklyn Diner so we gave it a try. We are glad we did. The restaurant is more upscale than a typical diner but the atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff is friendly and our server did an excellent job. She answered our questions and checked on us enough, but not too much. The food was delicious. I had a basic cheeseburger but it was cooked perfectly and the toppings were as fresh as could be. A table next to us had the chicken pot pie - it looked amazing. A wide ranging menu that has something for everyone. The food arrived quickly and the meal went smoothly. We liked it so much we stopped in after a play the next night. Great service, nice atmosphere, no wait and delicious food. All at a reasonable price. A rarity for New York. If you are in the Times Square area and looking for a good restaurant, you should give the Brooklyn Diner a look.
I just had to leave a review for this diner! While exploring the city, my boyfriend and I stopped by Brooklyn Diner on a whim and it was a decision well made. We were seated right away, and our food arrived quickly. One bite was enough to make my day! I got the BBQ burger, and my boyfriend had the popular hot pastrami sandwich, both were amazing. On top of that, the staff was super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!
I went here this evening with my wife for dinner, right from the moment we stepped in we were greeted with a warm welcome, our server was Gabriela who remembered us from our last visit here, and not only was she very attentive but also quite insightful about portion size of the delicious chicken pot pie (which is a must try by the way) and recommended that we only get one as that would be sufficient for two people, and instead suggested that we try the Korean spicy burger which again was a delight to our senses. All in all my wife and I were really happy with Gabriela’s service. Thanks!
The Brooklyn Diner is a great place to eat and just one turn away from the overflown Times Square. The food tastes delicious and you have it in front of you mere minutes after ordering. While the service was also great, Yomaira was especially attentive and friendly, making sure I was happy and that I had everything I wanted or needed while there. Definitely recommend!
This was the best dining experience that I can recall ever having. There was no wait time. Staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Outstanding service was consistent as I dined on two occasions at dinner time. I cannot say enough good things about the Brooklyn Diner and will have to make it a stop on every trip to New York
Beautiful little breakfast spot! First off, get their hot chocolate. GET IT! When the menu says "it's the only hot chocolate you'll ever need," they aren't remotely lying. It's rich and thick and wonderfully warming, like nothing you can get anywhere else as easily. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and the staff were incredibly professional and delightful. My partner and I ordered an eclectic number of things, looking to cut down on cost and we weren't particularly looking for a full breakfast anyway. The cost of entrees are the prices you pay for eating in Times Square, so expect to pay the premium despite the 'diner' title. I got a hot tea and the breakfast biscuit with strawberry jam and butter, which was exactly what I was hoping for and hit the spot. I also got a side of house made Italian sausage, which was also delicious. They had a tough skin, in case you have texture issues with sausage, but it was very flavorful and filling. My partner had the hot chocolate and a cookies and cream milk shake. The milkshake was very nice! We didn't feel rushed to leave so it's also a very nice location to stop by and take a minute as you finish your meal and figure out what you want to do next in the city.
Stopped by Brooklyn Diner and it did not disappoint. I had the burger with a fried egg on top, and it was cooked perfectly. Juicy, flavorful, and that egg just took it to another level. You can tell they don’t cut corners on quality. I also treated myself to a strawberry shake and a slice of chocolate cake. The shake was thick and fresh, and the chocolate cake was rich without being overly sweet. Definitely worth saving room for dessert. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall diner vibe makes it a great spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to relax. I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in the area.
Stopped into Brooklyn Diner and ordered the burger medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. Juicy, flavorful beef with a great sear, served on a soft brioche bun that held together well. The fries were crisp and hot, and everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. What really stood out was getting this level of quality in such a busy, tourist heavy area. Brooklyn Diner delivers real comfort food done right, not just convenience. I would absolutely come back and would highly recommend it if you are nearby and want a proper burger.
I and my travel partner visited the Brooklyn Diner @ Times Square in September 2025. We had the luck that it was not very busy there (it was on a tuesday, shortly after noon). We were shown to a table of our choice by the friendly server. As is customary in US restaurants, we were first offered a free carafe of fresh water. After ordering, we waited about 15-20 minutes for our food, which is perfectly acceptable and shows that the food is freshly prepared. And it tasted that way, too. We had a classic dish: a cheeseburger with fries/salat. The fries, in my opinion, were freshly cut potatoes, not mass-produced ones. And they were really deliciously seasoned and crispy! The burger was also fantastic. The patty had a great grilled flavor. As mentioned, the service was friendly without being intrusive. The server checked in with us once to make sure everything was alright and if we wanted dessert. All in all, based on my personal experience, I highly recommend this diner.
I went tonight with my husband for dinner and we received a very warm welcome from the entire staff😍. Our server was Gabriela who was also our server from three months ago and she remembered us instantly🥹. This made our evening! She was on point with everything , and the service was outstanding as usual. She was very friendly towards me and made me feel very special🤍 I cannot recommend her enough! Thanks Gabriela🥰
We arrived without reservations and were sat immediately. Service was prompt, courteous, and attentive. Our food came out fairly quickly, as ordered. It was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant. The prices were not ridiculously high considering it was next to Times Square. I would return.
What a great experience! We're no stranger to great diners so it takes a lot to get me to write a review. The Brooklyn Diner hit the spot in so many respects. From the great atmosphere to the service... Our visit this morning was a breath of fresh air in a city that pushes everything too fast Our server Toniah, was fast and detail oriented. Our breakfast arrived hot, perfectly cooked, and served with skill. I had 3 eggs over medium with fries and homemade sausage (my typical order). They did not disappoint. It's a pity I'm not in town more often because I'd make this place a regular stop. Great with kids and the floor is run with speed so you're not waiting all day for a table. This place is tops.

Had breakfast here 2 days running while staying in New york. Really enjoyed the first day the waiter was very attentive constantly filling our drinks the food was really nice so we decided to return the next day, didn't feel as welcoming this day we were shown to a table and asked could we have a booth instead which seemed to displease the man showing us to the table. Our waiter was different from the day before and just didn't have the same customer service as our previous waiter. When our food arrived it just didn't seem as well presented as previous. All that being said give it a try qe only had breakfast they serve other food through the day. Also for 4 breakfasts we paid 135 dollars which is around £120 then there is a 20/30 dollar tip on top.
Food: Get the chicken pot pie. So good! It was creamy and has huge chunks of chicken. We would not recommend the steak special. It was SO TOUGH. Tougher than any steak I've eaten before AND it was unseasoned. So we shared my pot pie and nibbled on the unlimited fries from her entree instead of bothering with the steak. Drinks: The pineapple mojitos were delicious. Service: The service was top notch from entrance to exit.
I mean… it’s a Times Square restaurant. The service was better than expected and the food was exactly as expected. I got the Patty Melt and an adult Gingerbread Milkshake and my mom got the chicken noodle soup. We just needed a quick bite before the show and this place was close by. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Nothing phenomenal about the food, it did the job. This would be a perfect place to the the kids while in the Times Square area
This diner is a hidden gem. We really enjoyed all our food and milkshakes, and it was nice to have something different. The oreo and strawberry blonde cheesecake milkshakes were the best! The soup was very good, too. We had a few different sandwiches and burgers, and they all tasted great. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. It is pricey, but it's NY, so... They get very busy, but it's worth the wait!
I have to say, the food and service was fantastic. Our waiter took genuine interest in our experience and the entire family had a great time. My only complaint is the food prices, which are much too high for some of the items (like the pancakes and other breakfast items). However, I do understand that this is right off Times Squate and they must reflect the price of living in their menu items. Overall, I would recommend trying this place for some great food as long as you’re willing to pay for it.
A nice diner localized near Times Square. The service was good, not outstanding, the the food was also OK. However, I have eaten in much better diners thst charged much less for the same deals (15 usd is definitely an overpriced buttermilk pancake). Nevertheless, the place itself is nice, very old school, and this made it comfortable.
Great place near the Times Square. We just walked in without reservation and there were some empty spots. Dinery is cozy, not too loud. For the 1 slice of chocolate cake and 1 portion of omelet we paid $45 with tips. The prices are all bit higher but again it's the heart of Manhattan so..... The portion is not too big. In general recommend 👌

Good food in a nice Place. The staff is very friendly. The have great burgers, milkshakes and pancakes. We’ve been There twice during our 7 days city trip to New York
I visited recently with my wife...well located in Times Square area...very busy, however, managed to get a table as a walk in. We had a starter to share and then burgers for our main meal which w…
Nestled in a quiet street close to Times Square , friendly staff and great dining experience lived the ambience . Traditional American diner . We ordered Pasta and chicken tacos , pasta was really bad didn’t like it at all , tacos were bad too chicken undercooked and very big pieces for a taco . You might be better if ordering American food than Italian or Mexican .
I personally tasted the raisin/pecan French toast which was great. The bacon was crispy just like I like. The full diner experience. They make homemade Italian sausage; smelled wonderful but not to our liking. My daughter enjoyed the milkshake that were nice enough to prepare during breakfast hours. Small quaint place tables a little greasy/glasses too.
Brooklyn Diner: A Taste of New York Celebrity Checked out Brooklyn Diner, a stone’s throw from Times Square and a hotspot frequented by the famous. Visiting around Thanksgiving, I braced for a long wait, but they were spot-on with their 20-minute estimate. The server was pleasant and offered up some recommendations. My daughter tried the hot chocolate, which, to be honest, wasn’t quite what we expected. It was unusually thick – we even added milk to thin it out. Maybe it’s a New York thing, or perhaps just not to our taste. Not usually a sandwich guy, but I dove into their pastrami sandwich on a recommendation. It’s a solid choice – good portion size and tasty enough to pass on the recommendation. While the restaurant buzzes with activity, it’s the celebrity allure that adds spice to the visit. Imagine dining at Jerry Seinfeld’s table! Great for a selfie and a story to tell. So, swing by for the experience, snap some photos, but don’t expect culinary fireworks. It’s more about the novelty than a gastronomic revelation.
Quality of eating perfect. Quality of service less than 0. In front of Europe, English is not my first language. The waitress kept trying to correct my language and accent the whole time. It felt very arrogant. This was the first restaurant I visited in the USA. There was a lot of confusion about tipping, which doesn’t feel natural to me. I wanted to leave 10%, and I suddenly felt a lot of hostility from the waitress. I also didn’t really understand why I wasn’t allowed to take the receipt with me. Apart from that, the food was actually of very high quality.
With scaffolding over the entrance, the first impression, due to no fault of its own, is not impressive to the eye. But once inside this nice size diner, one realizes that the place is attractive (see my photos). UPDATED REVIEW: At one o'clock in the afternoon, I ordered from the area of the menu which says, " breakfast all day." I had three scrambled eggs, small cubed home fries, ham and challah bread. Jelly and Greenland salted butter came on the side with the order. They have a new chef whose home fries I did not care for. Instead of putting bread on a plate of its own, they put the bread on the plate with the eggs, thereby giving you a SMALL amount of home fries or its alternative French fries. The cost was, including tax, $24 + tip. It was the optional ham cost that brought the price to that level. They offer the eggs with an option to add Nova smoked salmon on the side, as was the ham. I had their coffee and enjoyed it. After leaving the above review about the eggs, I went back and had their oatmeal which was watery. It had a lot of fruit on it, but the preparation of the oatmeal, which should not be watery, was poor. My photos include the restaurant's framed image of the Brooklyn Dodger's Ebbets Field stadium and a flag landmark seen near the restaurant. I have included in my photos a number of different areas of the diner, including the bar where you can order from the menu being served at the tables.
I ordered the French toast and eggs — a classic breakfast duo that should never let you down. The French toast was… fine. Not great, not terrible. Just the culinary equivalent of a polite handshake. The eggs were there too, doing their job with quiet resignation. It wasn’t bad, it was just the kind of meal that makes you wonder if the chef was emotionally unavailable that morning. Still, the coffee was hot, the butter melted, and the vibe said “We tried.” So, three stars — because sometimes, “fine” is all you need to make it through brunch.

Nice authentic feel upon arrival. Everything goes downhill from there. Portions are quite small and sloppily presented. Coffee feels rationed. Check is on the table before you finish eating. Just feel like they are trying to get you out the door before you even get in.
Its in times Square so I guess I cant complain too much but I should have gone a few blocks down for better food and more reasonable price. The food was OKAY at best. The potatoes were clearly the kind from a bag not actual cut potatoes. And a "large orange juice" was small and also over priced.
It was not a good experience, and the food didn’t taste good. The scrambled eggs had hardly any flavor, and the pancake was very greasy. Is it standard to serve pancakes with maple syrup? I had to specifically ask for it. The sausage also had a very strange taste. There are many diners that are much better than this one. I would even say that all the diners I tried before in NYC were better. When the waiter noticed that I hadn’t left a tip and asked whether everything was okay, I explained the same issues to him. He then started arguing with me about it. I found that inappropriate as well—he should have respected my opinion and accepted the criticism.
First time going, loved the atmosphere. Server was not super attentive , had to be waived down almost every time . The hostess and host were very kind very professional! Food was decent! If you love a thick cakey pancake this is the place for you! I will say the “fries” are just small cut up potatoes but they are very good!!

I would not recommend this place. The experience was not good. Service was so slow on a Tuesday. But the real reason why I would not recommend this place would be the food!!!They do not have real eggs, they use the boxed stuff. The coffee was awful I had to take a photo of it added below. The syrup is not real maple syrup or even close to something edible. Which lead to having to judge their pancakes without the syrup, they were extremely dry and needed lots of butter and even the horrible syrup made them better. We wanted the French toast and they did not have them available. I’m guessing that either they do not know how to prep for the next day or they didn’t order enough premade. The hash potatoes that came with the omelette tasted like they were frozen and not cooked all the way. The best items they served us were the real strawberries that they topped on our pancakes and the cream cheese that they offered us for bagel.
Overpriced. Understaffed, and the stress of the manager was palpable. 2.5 hours to get 2 eggs Benny, 1 milkshake, and a slice of cake. Food was a bit below average, but good portioned sized. They never brought us a teaspoon for our tea. Food was served on dirty looking plates. Milkshake arrived after the meal was finished. For 88.00 I'd have expected more. I'd advise against dinning here. There are better quality , cheaper priced , and faster locations everywhere.
The food was good, but I realized for the price, the portions were quite small compared to other places. The waitress was not attentive to our table but she seemed nice at first. Once I went to pay, she forced me to leave a tip of 20/22/ or 25% and she made me feel super uncomfortable and upset to be honest. She said that "We work for tips only and these are your options to choose from" while there is other options such as custom/no tip options. I am super disappointed and most likely will not be going back. I have never in my life had a waitress tell me I HAVE TO tip. (Was going to leave a tip, but she forced a bigger percentage). Would not recommend although the food was good.
