I haven't been to the restaurant yet but the and service and food is fantastic the only chinese restaurant that serves snow pea my favorite looking forward to post about the restaurant atmosphere soon.
This is the best Asian food I’ve ever tried in my life!!! Makes me crave for it everyday. They have too many options to choose from which is why I can eat it everyday. They give you nice size portions of food.
The clams and black bean sauce were delicious as was the fresh fish in black bean sauce. I can only tell you that I've been living here for 9 years and it's the first restaurant that I have found that is authentic cooking that it was just delicious.
I'm part Chinese and order from here whenever I have a food delivery discount. Great value and quite authentic. Not too oily.
The fried rice is the best in Sacramento. You don't anticipate the intense flavor that commandeers your taste buds and the texture of the rice is robust. I love the way my appreciation for taste resonates with each mouth full.
Ive been going to this restaurant for over 35 years & im telling ya it is 1 of the 2 very BEST Chinese food restaurants I've ever been to in my life! Dont let the lil hole in the wall spot fool ya, I guarantee you once you try their food you will be back again & again! Ps. if you like 🦀 try the Ginger CRAB, it's a MUST have!
As a field technician, I spent a lot of time at different restaurants for lunch and I visited this one today and overall, it was great very large portions. Great price and nice clean place overall. The reason I give it a five star is because the prices are great for the quality of the food . But overall, the food is a four.
Favorite Chinese restaurant in the Sacramento area! They have delicious seafood dishes. Their Steamed Live Black Bass and Surf Clams in particular are great. However, you might have to call ahead to check if they have live fish available. The Fish Head Soup from the Black Bass is a nice appetizing soup as well. Their lobster and crab options are also fine if you like Chinese style. I'd also recommend the Snow Pea Leaf and Singapore Noodles. The service is typical for a authentic Chinese restaurant.
Sacramento has many Chinese restaurants that have been in the city for many years. New Station Seafood Restaurant is one of them. Like most Chinese restaurants, it has good food and reasonable service. The dining room is looking good after the remodel done a few years ago. They have a small parking lot next to the restaurant with only 7-8 parking spaces. Street parking is also available in front or near the restaurant.
Super delicious/flavorful Chinese food. Food comes out quickly. Service is quick. Favorite menu items: -braised rock cod with tofu clay pot -preserved egg & pork porridge -salty fish chicken fried rice -snow pea shoots -salt & pepper ribs -whole fried sole
Great value, they do a brisk take out business but the dine in special of 3 items with daily soup is a worthwhile deal.
This place reminds me of the restaurants in Chinatown in San Francisco. Mom & Pop serving up good food. The chow mien and fried rice had minimal soy sauce and great flavor with a little char. Looking forward to their entrees. Must try!
The food is delicious. Yesterday, the place was packed for lunch. So the servers were extremely busy. I had the duck and wonton noodle soup. It was a very good choice for a cold day.
Decided to order New Station Seafood via Doordash pick up. I ordered: -West Lake Minced Beef Soup $13.95, good -Hot and Sour soup $11.95, good -House Special Chow Mein $15.95, ok -Salted Baked Chicken Wings $13.95, a bit on the salty side. Would probably avoid next time Good spot for Chinese food. Dedicated parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. Will be back!
First time here on a late night mission to find some food. So happy that they are open late! Super friendly lady answered and said I could come in and order even though the kitchen closed in 15min. (They were pretty busy when I walked in). Ordered. Food came out quick- maybe 10/15min wait. The mixed vegetables are bomb and I really liked the egg rolls. The chow mein was ok, the noodles are a bit thick but the flavor is good.
Food was good, seemed like we were bothering them when we walked in on a rainy Saturday. They warmed up a little but nothing I would call warm or friendly. Price for the food quality was good though.
For a basic rice plate should not be over 15$ especially rice and tofu. Vegetables should come with that and not be extra smh. I really like their food but this was ridiculous.
maybe its me, but i prefer my prawns to not have eyeballs and legs on them, futher what is the point of deepfying them in batter if the shell is still on them. very disappointing meal, the rice was the only part that was good. i got pics it was 65 dollars, you be the judge.
Did a pick-up online order here of a couple of items for a quick dinner. Hot & Sour Soup and Curry Chicken. Pretty basic food for any Chinese restaurant. Got it home and while things looked good at first, it was pretty much inedible. I haven't picked a place this bad in years. The picture shows what I had left after I threw out what I had served in dishes. The hot and sour soup was just kind of peppery with no other real flavor. It looks like normal but was terrible. The curry chicken was likewise spiced heavily, and while it actually tasted like curry it was also not very good at all. Add to that the fact that they wanted to charge $2.50 for a single serving of rice (which should come with the curry) is terrible. The service was quick as there was nobody at the restaurant. There was also plenty of parking for the same reason. Just not recommended AT ALL.
Terrible food... just ordered from there a d omg the food was awful. Everything was stale and tasted spoiled. The honey walnut shrimp was fishy..Will Never order from here again..
Bad service lady was not helpful at all waited more then 20min to take our order and by the back were they had us seat there was two rats running around i wouldn’t suggest for you guys to eat there especially the ones doing orders to go at the new station seafood on broadway
Had a major craving for chinese. & found this place online. Spent $40 on 2 combo plates & an appetizer for 2 & was so disappointed. The Entree portions were smaller than I've ever gotten at any chinese restaurant. The Beef & Broccoli literally came with like 4 pieces of broccoli & 4 or 5 pieces of low quality beef. The general chicken was bland & didn't seem fresh. The appetizer combo came with 2 each of pot stickers, egg rolls, foil wrapped chicken, fried prawns, and a serving of BBQ pork. The BBQ "pork" was 90% fat/gristle. The fried "prawns" were mostly breading, I honestly didn't taste anything but breading. Everything else was just okay. Worst chinese food I've ever had. Skip it!!!
