📍 Stout NYC (right next to MSG) Just when you thought game night couldn’t get any better… 🤩 I dove into their Loaded Street Fries and WOW. Crispy fries piled high with tender beef birria, ooey-gooey Monterey Jack & sharp cheddar, zippy cherry peppers, tangy pickled red onions, and a drizzle of lime crema that ties it all together perfectly. Every bite = 🔥🔥🔥 And those Buffalo Wings? Absolutely next-level. Crisp skin, juicy inside, and that signature buffalo sauce has the perfect balance of heat and flavor. I may never order wings anywhere else again. 🍗💥 But wait—there’s more. Their Individual Wisconsin-Style Thin Crust Pizza is a revelation. Think ultra-thin, cracker-crisp crust loaded with melty cheese, tangy sauce, and just the right amount of everything. It’s NYC comfort food at its finest. 🍕✨ Whether you’re catching a game or just craving epic bar eats, Stout NYC is a slam dunk. 🙌 #StoutNYC #LoadedFries #BeefBirria #BuffaloWings #ThinCrustPizza #MSGEats #NYCFoodie #GameDayGrub #FoodieInTheBigApple2025
I had Jess and Cee as my bartenders, what a lovely crew! Did their oyster deal on Mondays, 1$ per oyster, such a good deal. A great spot for pre-drinks or post-drinks for an MSG game or concert. Been frequenting this spot for a few months now, and have to say all of the staff is stellar, and the food is on par with the service. 10/10 if you’re in the Penn station area, you gotta come here.
Excellent service from a lovely Irish girl called Emer ! She was so pleasant to chat to and looked after us so well. We came back a second night because we enjoyed our time so much and again had excellent service. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed our night here. The vibe was great and the service was even better. Emer looked after us and was so friendly and efficient. She made everything easy and relaxed. Highly recommend. 10 stars for Emer’s service ⭐
Great cocktails, food and atmosphere. The staff were genuinely friendly, warm and welcoming. Will come 100% come back next time I'm in NYC!
After being ignored at another bar nearby, we decided to leave and come here instead and I’m really glad we did. The difference in service was immediate. Gaston was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we sat down. He went out of his way to help us get connected to the WiFi so we could get some work done from Stout, which was greatly appreciated. The WiFi itself worked very well and made it easy to stay productive while enjoying the space. Overall, great service, a comfortable atmosphere, and a big shoutout to Gaston for turning the experience into a great one. Would definitely come back
My girlfriend and I popped in for a quick bite and some drinks on Saturday before heading to the bull riding at MSG. The wings and loaded fries were amazing and my girlfriend loved their warm winter cocktails. Our Irish waiter, Andrew was very friendly and attentive despite having a large section to serve during the rush. If you’re heading to any event in MSG, this is definitely the spot!
We did our company leadership dinner here and had an exceptional time. The food, drinks, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere were incredible. Stout group really knows how to deliver an awesome product and glad to see they did it again at this location. The GM Shane even came up to our party to make sure we were enjoying our time there!
This place is a staple for my work group. We grab a drink and quick meal from this place nearly every time we meet in the city — we’ve tried other places but always end up back here. Good environment, good food, good drinks! We’re not even there for the sports, but there is definitely a sporty presence. Reasonably priced as well, which is super important.
Come for the sports, stay because the burger changed your life. Honestly, usually "NYC sports bar" = "standing in someone’s armpit," but Stout is actually beautiful inside? The layout is great and the flow makes sense—you aren't bumping into 50 people just to get to the restroom. Great location near the Garden. Love the cobblestone floors! If you have eyeballs and like sports, this is the spot. The TV setup is elite; there isn't a bad seat in the house. Definitely check out the downstairs area too, it’s a whole vibe down there. The staff were absolute legends—super friendly and fast. And whatever you do, order the smash burger. It was awesome. I might dream about it later. Highly recommend!
My wife and I went to their pop up location on 36th and Broadway. Steve the manager and crew were AMAZING! Upon arrival we were greeted by Steve. Extremely friendly and their mulled wine is so good. Look forward to coming back next year!
We popped in for the Angry Burger, and it blew us away – truly top‑notch! The patty was juicy and perfectly cooked, drenched in just the right amount of buffalo hot sauce and topped with tangy Maytag blue cheese and crispy onions that added the perfect crunch. The service was friendly and attentive.
We've visited Stout near Penn Station many dozens of times over the years. This place and Feile next door are the two nicest pubs in the area, in my opinion. Stout, in particular, is always jam-packed full of people, and the food here is solid. If you're down near MSG for an event, Stout is an excellent place to visit beforehand.
This is a fantastic place in midtown NYC, right by Penn Station. They have around 20 draught beers, a long cocktail menu, and food menu. The food is the usual pub fare, plus some pretty nice salads, and other items. The food is good even if it won’t blow your mind, but the drinks and the service will. Gaston was my bartender; he was knowledgeable about beer, and genuinely interested in helping me find something I would love, not just like. The other bartender was also engaging. This place also has private rooms/spaces and outdoor street-level seating. Coupled with a fantastic location, this is one of my top picks!
We visited restaurant on Sunday. It’s pretty empty which is good for us so we can relax. Food is really good! We absolutely love it. We order dozen of oysters, chicken wings, chicken pot pie, and apple pie ( really recommend; not too sweet, just right amount of sweetness) all were very tasty. Shout out for my 2 lady servers. They are super busy cause they must have covered the whole restaurant just two of them. They were very friendly and service-minded ( Sunday, Aug 25). Would come back again.

They had awesome fish tacos with double tortillas to hold them together. Football on tv. Really great pot pie a local treat
Good for watching sports. Also good to get a flight for $11 We had some issues with our bill at the end which was an inconvenience due to their POS systems not syncing
Goos spot with typical pub food. The wings were decent but came out like warm and their tacos were awful, dry, no flavor and we sent it back. I honestly don’t know how you can screw up chicken tacos but they managed to do it. Drinks were good, decent environment. Not the worst but not the best either but it’s great if you’re going to a game at MSG and want to eat something quick and have a drink before paying the crazy prices inside the arena.
I had a great time here for dinner and drinks! The beer menu is HUGE, and I loved the selection of local craft options. The food was really tasty—especially the Baja Fish Tacos, which were my favorite. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow since it was pretty crowded, but that didn’t spoil the fun. Overall, it’s such a nice place for a laid-back night out!

Food was good quality. Service was terrible and wait for food even longer. The chicken pot pie has returned to a better recipe.
Horrible service. Sat for about 10 minutes no one came to take order. Went to bar and was ignored.

I’ve never written a review before but I was put into such an uncomfortable situation here that I feel like I need to warn people. I came in with my boyfriend, we ordered the steak sandwich and a cesar salad and the food was fine, cocktails were good too so there’s that. But we were having a good time watching the Knicks when my boyfriend went to the bathroom. Right after he left, a man came up to me and asked how our meal was. I said it was fine, and he said he was the manager there and that he noticed me from across the bar and that he would like to get my Instagram! I said no but he wouldn’t leave me alone until my boyfriend finally came back and he left me alone. We left immediately and when I asked a server who he was he said he IS a manager and he does this kind of thing all the time. Ladies stay away!! Or if you do go don’t let your man leave you alone here!!
Took awhile to be served with little to no crowd. Got the loaded fries and a beer. Fries were cold with luke wark cheese and over cooked to where they were too hard on the outsode and nothing in the middle. Ate like 10 fries and was done because it wasnt tastey with limited decent fries to select from despite being a whole plate. Dont get those. Wont be ordering an entree because if thats how that start the meal id hate to see how their entrees are. Food cart outside is a better choice.
