Simply put you won’t find a better pizza in the area. The closest in quality and taste is Mellow Mushroom. Last time I went to MM the food was cold, incorrect, and staff just standing around. Anyway Tony’s is better and actually a good bit less expensive and you won’t find lazy staff ignoring their job.
Best pizza around! They have great customer service. The lady who answered the phone was very pleasant and greeted me in person the same way. The meat lovers pizza was hot and delicious with the right amount of toppings on each slice. I will definitely be returning.
Tonight we ordered through doordash however after being told driver was there, got told our order had been cancelled. I called and explained to Tony’s what occurred. Our pizzas were made and delivered promptly to us by I think the owner. Food is so awesome! I thank you so very much!
Best pizza on the southside of Atlanta.
I have eaten their food 2x, and love it. The pizza was great, and very large slices. We had the meat pizza. My fiance a true New Yorker says the pizza is fantastic. We also had the wings, panini, and lasagna. Everything was fresh, and generous portions....
We stumbled across this little gem, when searching for “good food near me” while staying in a hotel nearby. Scrolling through the reviews, we chose this pizza place for dinner. We walked in late night at 9 and a gentleman told us to sit anywhere. Immediately a sweet waitress came over and explained how to scan the QCode for the menu and took our drink order. I wish I captured her name because she thoroughly explained the difference between New York pizza and Pizza Napoletana. We asked for her favorite and order the New York Style Pizza-The Works. It had Pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, mushrooms, peppers, and onions. It was amazing! The toppings were plentiful and of high quality, the sliced meatball were so delicious along with the crust and sauce. Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve had since moving to Atlanta, 17 years ago. The gentleman came over and checked on us and we highly praised the service, food and cleanliness of the restaurant. He introduced himself as Tony and thanked us so kindly. I wish I remembered the waitresses name as she was absolutely awesome! She said told us, Tony was the owner and always checking on his customers. We highly recommend this little authentic, Italian restaurant!
Whoever left that last negative review 4 weeks ago must be use to eating dominoes pizza.lol. Tony's is THE BEST pizza around stockbridge/mcdonough. I eat here at least 1 x a week. Tony is a great person. I got handed the wrong pizza by accident and they were closing. He called me and said I got the wrong pizza and drove to where I was to give me the correct one. Now if that isn't excellent service and a owner that appreciates his customers. Tony your the best!
This place is really good and they give you big portions.
Service was friendly and fast. Food was fantastic. Tomato sauce was so fresh and delicious. Great find while traveling 75!
I was very very satisfied with everything! The teo young ladies up from were courteous and engaging, they even seemed sad when they told me my order wasn’t ready yet. I certainly wouldn’t require empathy but it’s very nice to see ppl who care. The pizza was delicious with a fair amount of toppings. Plus the price was very fair given how tasty it was. I rolled the slices up like a burrito. Don’t waste money at any national pizza chains, go here instead.
Where do I begin. I’m from New Jersey and I like my pizza a certain way. This place checks all the boxes. The doe is flavorful, the sauce is great, the cheese is real. I’ve tried the Stromboli, the calzone and all of it good. You will not be disappointed. There’s a slight wait but I’d be skeptical of a pizza joint that wasn’t packed. All good pizza joints are packed with a wait.
Everything we have tried from Tony’s has been great! Today we had the Alfredo, and i can honestly say that it was by far the best home made alfredo i have ever had! Authentic and very great flavor! highly recommend this place. Everything was fresh and hot, and cooked to perfection!
It was our first time eating here. We ordered a medium pizza to go -- half sausage, pepperoni, and the other half with sausage, pepperoni and onions. The pizza was perfect and delicious. Also, we had excellent customer service. We will definitely be back and probably dine-in.
This was by far the best spot that's close to real authentic New York pizza. There are a couple of other places in the metro Atlanta area but none other can compare to the price, the service and environment. Yerrrr🗽
The pizza was definitely New York style. The Philly cheese steak pizza and wings were so good. I sure will be a regular.
Easily my favorite Italian spot in Stockbridge. Always fresh ! Always great service.
Good food and affordable prices, great customer service.
My new fav pizza spot! The closest to real NY style (turkey) pepperoni pizza I’ve had in a while.
Easily one of the best NY style pizzas in the metro Atlanta Area!! Hands Down! I’m hurt because they stopped allowing uber to deliver to Lithonia. I wonder why. Yall pizza is awesome. I hope you open it back up to the area
Pizza was good. Wish they would gave more toppings and a little more sauce but the flavor was there. Most definitely will return 👌🏾

Love this place and the lunch specials. Service and food is great! You can't go wrong here!
Might be the best pizza in the Atlanta area it’s very very good 👌🏾
Best thin slice New York style pizza in that area.
Tony's is a great place to sit and enjoy New York style pizzas. The staff and atmosphere is very welcoming and very social. I love Tony's
Finally, a pizza place that tastes like home! I'm from NJ and now live in GA. I have tried many places, and a few were like home, but they were in Atlanta, and nobody wants to drive so far for pizza... If you're looking for NY style pizza and live nearby, give their pizza a try! FYI, I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but their pizza is delicious. Oh, and I always order the biggest for the more authentic experience.
Pizza was pricy but good.
The baked ziti was outta this world. Good atmosphere & service
Definitely, definitely, definitely come here for your ITALIAN FOODS needs, yes I say Italian food because it's not JUST a pizza place, the food here is soooo good and definitely worth waiting for. When you're craving that home cook Mama's style pasta, don't think twice, JUST COME TO TONY'S! They also offer Italian style or New York style pizza the crust is crispy, and the pizza is so good. The salads... PERFECT! I'm so glad I found Tony's! 🤌🏻
Since traveling and finding pizza spots that we wish we had here at home, my wife and I decided that we would not eat at chain pizza restaurants anymore. Tony's was a great start! My only complaint is the wait time, that's not really a complaint at all. I don't mind waiting for quality food. I would wait here an hour before I eat another Papa John's or Dominos pizza.
Coming from NY, I must day Tony's is my favorite pizza down here. I'm wondering if they get water shipped from NY to ATL to make the dough. You won't be disappointed, the pizza is good, the customer service is top notch, and if you dine in the vibe is mad chill. Tony's is my go-to spot for pizza, hands down!
Wanted a pizza bad and didn't want a franchise pizza. So I called Tony's at Brentwood. Called my order in. The young lady was very helpful and had a great sense of humor while dealing with the public. I ordered a large pizza. It was delicious. I was not surprised because good food comes out of Tony's at Brentwood. Thank you.
It's hard to find good pizza here in this area. This pizza was superb!! The sauce!! OMG! I could just drink a cup of it!! The wings were cooked to perfection! The calzone was PERFECT! Had the perfect cheese ratio! (I HATE too much ricotta!) This one was scrumptious! The service was excellent!! DEFINITELY will be back!! Telling ALL my friends and family about it!! 👏🤗🥰😋🤤
After leaving NYC three years ago, I have not found good NYC pizza…. Until today! As soon as I bit into it I knew I had found my new pizza spot.
Best pizza and Italian food I found in the atlanta metro area. From Chicago so I know my pizza. Great stuff man!
I love this place. Great tasting calzone and pizza at a very good price. I prefer the local spot to the big pizza chains.
Always a pleasure to eat here. Family atmosphere and delicious food every time. Highly Recommended!
blows a lotta pizza out of the water by a lot. the crust is exceptional for an over the counter vibe, came with a proper crispy color and texture. and it has great flavor which helps elevate the ingredients on top whatever it should be. haven't thoroughly enjoyed a slice this good since i left new york.
OMG!! My mouth was transported home to my hometown, NY! The pizza had the flavor of the Italian pizzerias I grew up eating. Oh & the crust is perfect. Having just moved to area & was in search for a good eating spot, I DEFINITELY FOUND IT. Want pizza? This is the spot 🤗
Food is great. Everytime we order the food is fresh and always right.
Born and raised in New Jersey so I know a good slice of Pizza...Tony's is THE TRUTH!! Authentic NY Style, great crust, great sauce, great taste!! They know what they're doing at Tony's At Brentwood
Erica the front desk host absolutely wonderful she greets you in front as you walk in knowledge on the best thing to order on the menu she will deliver and explain all the dishes and I'm from NYC so Harlem Bronx brooklyn Queens pizza Tony's matches the same taste food her is a must I recommend it 10 out of 10ive dined in and taked out
First time getting food here, won't be the last time! Take out order was hot, fresh and extremely good with the exception of the bread, it was ok. Fetticini with shrimp was perfect, great garlic taste, fresh shrimp Wifes Chicken parmesian was very good, sauce was very tasty and the perfect amount.
I always get this pizza for takeout and it is absolutely delicious! This is the pizza that I will continue to go to and no one else. It is delicious! It’s up there with Fellini‘s and Tony’s sauce is better! I get meatball sausage spinach pizza it’s so good! It’s cheesy and saucy. It is five stars.
Tony's has defiitely become my most favorite pizza place in Georgia. My family and I have turned it into a Saturday tradition. The pizza is ALWAYS delicious, the wings are ALWAYS cooked just right, and everything is always hot and fresh. WE LOVE TONY'S
Tony’s is our go to pizza and pasta place. We loooove the prosciutto and arugula pizza, the strombolis, and the chicken Marsala. It’s way better than your usual chain pizza. Authentic!
This was a pick-up, so service and atmosphere points are second person. But the FOOD: Caprese salad- fresh sweet tomatoes, the mozz tasted homemade, and the balsamic was delicious. Margherita pizza- yummy, I ordered a medium just for me. Lemon pepper chix wings- I shoukd have ordered more. When we come to Atlanta, Tony's is now our go-to place.
My mom took me to this spot. I've past this area for years never saw it but the food was good. I had spaghetti, salad and some cheese bread. It was enough for me to take home and nibble on for later.
Tony's is always my family's go to for great pizza and quality service. I stop in for a quick lunch special or take the entire family for an Italian dinner. Tony's never disappoints!
Pizza was delicious and the service was great. One thing I miss from my time in New York is the delicious pizza by the slice in just about every neighborhood. So happy to find some delicious New York style pizza so close to home!
This is was our first time in since moving to the neighborhood. Great pizza & great service! We’ll definitely be back to try other options on the menu.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Absolutely Unbelievable Pizza! I'm from Utah, and let me just say—Tony's Pizza has completely ruined western pizza for me (in the best way possible). This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The flavor, the crust, the sauce—it all just hits differently. Coming out here and trying this place was a game-changer. Every bite was incredible. If you're anywhere near this spot, do yourself a favor and try it.
I ordered here to go because I saw the great reviews and they did not disappoint. The alfredo pasta with shrimp and broccoli was absolutely delicious. It wasn't soupy like some other places but it was creamy and the taste of the sauce was decadent. It came with a fresh side salad and huge piece of garlic bread. And may I add the price was very reasonable. I will now be a regular. 5 stars.
Tony’s at Brentwood is a hidden gem in Stockbridge! I was honestly blown away. The pizza came out piping hot and absolutely delicious — true New York–style pizza with the perfect crust, cheese, and flavor. You can tell they care about the quality because everything tasted fresh and made with love. It’s the kind of spot you try once and instantly start recommending to people. If you’re anywhere near the area, you MUST try it… and thank me later. This place definitely earned a spot on my favorites list!
Great NY pie, best pizza in the area. Even their dinner selections that we ordered were outstanding( Chicken Parm and Ravioli), perfect portions, Hugh salad comes with your meal. Friendly atmosphere with really good service. We will definitely be back for our Friday pizza night
I'm a native NY'er, born and raised. Tony's is about as close as I've come to my beloved NY pizza. The only thing I don't like, is the crust does not appear to be as thick as pizza at home. Other than that, I have no complaints. Again, I said comes close to NY pizza, but definitely NOT as good!!!
We stopped in for an early lunch on our way south. Pizza was great. The service was amazing. They made us feel at home. I would definitely stop by and get some pizza again.
We had the vegetarian delight I believe. It was very good. Dough was slightly crispy on the bottom and It had good texture to it. The toppings were very good and I could actually taste the spinach. The sauce was good. And the real cheese was awesome. One of the best veggies pizzas we’ve had. And as a side note, reheating in the convection oven the night after was almost as good as the day it was made.
Good pizza! had a decent New York flop to it. Dough was really good. wasn’t heavy and didn’t feel too full after eating 3 slices. I’d go back in a heart beat, but we gotta try every place in Atlanta till we try them all. That’s a review.
The pizza was great New York style. The staff were friendly and hospitable. Unfortunately the garlic knots were lacking…in garlic or I may have gone to five stars. Recommend you sit in the back to avoid the takeout crowds.
Went today for lunch, had the slice & wings special. The pizza was very good. Thin crust, little toasty on the bottom, just the way I like it. Can't wait to try out the specialty pie's. The hot wings were not as hot as I like, more like a medium for me, but the flavor was on point. Met Tony and he was a very nice guy. I will be back and bring more people with me.
I love their pizza never disappoints. I was a huge fan of their fried calamari but just purchased some today and they looked liked onion rings and definitely didn’t taste well. Months again they had amazing calamari hopefully they bring it back! Their pizza is still amazing!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I think the pizza was wonderfully made, but perhaps the amount of toppings was too little for charging $1.75 per topping added. Also, while the quality of most ingredients was good, the cheese was a very plasticy cheaper quality that I would recommend management switch for a better tasting cheese. This place has a lot of potential, so maybe I'll try it again in the future if I'm in the area again
I placed an online order with ease and encountered no issues. The pizza was passable, nothing remarkable, just satisfactory. However, I was taken aback by the dessert's appearance and flavor as it seemed to have been pre-packaged. Given its cost, I expected better. Overall, I had hoped to have a more positive experience, but unfortunately, I cannot say that I am greatly impressed.
I waited 50 minutes for a pie. It was delicious but that was just way too long after a I was told it would take 25 minutes. Most people who came in had ordered ahead. This was my first time there. I will go back because the pizza was good and definitely New York style. I just feel like if a cusyomer waits 50 minutes after you said 25, you coild at least thrown in a can of soda or a coupon or something. Time is precious and it should not matter that I didn't order ahead. It's a pizzeria.
I ordered from here on a recommendation and I was not as impressed as my friend was. Maybe I'm a hard pizza critic, but I can think of a pizzeria or 2 that has better pizza. I ordered a large pizza with grilled chicken, banana peppers, onions, and bell peppers. It was decent but nothing to write home about...Oh, I almost forgot to mention that their wings are good though.
Let me just say customer service on 1000000❤️ and I just left a hour ago everything was fresh and hot I had my food To go the damn cheese sticks was so good I ate most of them on the way home my mom turned me on to this place and I’ve eaten it several times but this was my first time picking it up I’ll definitely be back 🤗
The food smells very good and the kitchen staff was quick and efficient, however the lady who runs the counter needs to be aware of being receptive to constructive feedback. I showed up as a DoorDash contractor at 11:45 am to pick up an order. She advised me DoorDash didn’t schedule order pickup until 12:30. I advised her I would call the customer to verify if they minded having their lunch prepared earlier than scheduled, and she seemed hesitant to prepare the order ahead. I once again assured her I would make sure with the customer what they prefer. The customer opted to have their order prepared right away. I simply suggested that she have someone contact DoorDash merchant services to correct the issue of scheduling - dispatch conflict to avoid further issues in the future that can result in loss of money for the business. She got defensive and was hostile from that moment forward insisting this would not reflect on the business, but DoorDash. The breakdown however says otherwise. If DoorDash is not aware of scheduling conflicts, this results in cancellations. She rebutted that DoorDash will just dispatch another driver. The problem with that is, say you prepare the order on the time you’re scheduled and it doesn’t align with dispatch, now the food is sitting cold because the orig assigned driver cancels for excessive wait time since DoorDash doesn’t pay fair for our time as is, and they then have to negotiate another driver which is unpredictable time. So as that goes on, the customers food is now cold. Now the customer is filing a complaint. And I can assure you DoorDash will not take accountability, but will discontinue merchant contract with the restaurant due to too many negative reviews. So I leave this review to say, be receptive when someone is trying to help you because you may end up hurting your own business and remain professional and hospitable because you won’t have returning customers being biased and a know it all.
Pizza was decent ( medium meatlovers ). My wife ordered the shrimp scampi. I would bypass the pasta and just order pizza. The pasta wasn't cooked all the way, looked more like soup or stew rather than scampi and only 5 shrimps in the meal for $18? I understand it's a businessm but keep in mind that you have to be mindful towards your customers as well. Service was mediocre at best. Young man was great, but had a full house and was alone working the front. Doubt I'll be back.
I've ordered up to 20 xl of this pizza previously- just to ship it to relatives out of town. It used to be the best pizza I've ever tasted. Now it's the worst- very bitter. I'm SO SO DISAPPOINTED with my last two orders (the last being a replacement) that I just cannot give any more props to Tonys. Something has definitely changed
Overpriced and overrated! My pizza was not even hot. Although food that is not hot is common in Atlanta, I hadn’t eaten a luke warm pizza before. I ate a slice as soon as they gave it to me. I would’ve taken it back but I needed to get somewhere. Besides the pizza not being hot it was also a bit dry. The wings were a little hot but they were also dry, small and not very flavorful.
Unfortunately, my most recent experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be returning to Tony’s. During my recent visit on Thursday 1/8/2026, I asked the waitress/cashier if I could purchase an extra Alfredo sauce and was quoted $5. When I clarified that I was only requesting a small portion, the young woman at the counter laughed and made dismissive remarks under her breath to another employee. The interaction felt unprofessional and disrespectful, especially considering I had already spent close to $80. Customer service matters just as much as food quality, and this experience made me feel undervalued as a customer. While the food has consistently been good, the treatment I received during this visit has unfortunately cost Tony’s a returning customer
Yo,I don't know what the heck is going on but I have NEVER IN 12 YEARS got a bad pizza,or gotten sick,or just plain was disgusted with our pizzas from Tony's! The last 2 times, the 2nd being tonight, the pizza was plain out terrible! The staff is noticeably changed and so is the sauce and dough. And this is our entire family that agrees. We LOOOOVE TONY AND HIS ESTABLISHMENT !!!! FAITHFULLY! I'm not sure what's going on,but it's been awhile since we've seen him or the usual crew there and it has done a 360° turn for the worst. But that taste ,that nausea that total flip has us sad. And no offense personally to current folks but someone, something is responsible for the change and we hope it works itself out because Tony's is part of our life deeply!
Pizza to go wasn't bad I ordered a calzone to go it absolutely sucked I ordered a chicken parm sandwich it may have been the worst sandwich I've ever had. If Tony was from New York they threw a him out of New York. If you don't like what I'm saying I please eat there!!
my first time here, i was craving pasta. very disappointing but i can’t expect it to be as good as if i cooked it at home even though i had high expectations because of the 4.5 rating. baked ziti was gross.. no seasoning at all, noodles were over cooked. I had to doctor it up at home.. which ruined my appetite. my husband liked the pizza but i won’t come back unless he wants the pizza.
This is the worst pizza and chicken wings. Pizza was so dry and tasteless that the wings had no seasoning and salty. I had a taste for a good pizza, but I would have been better off going to Dominoes or Pizza Hut.
Unprofessional cashier. Rude and lacks tact. This use to be a decent establishment. Now it’s just subpar. No matter what you order it will be missing something. When you inform them it becomes a conversation where they do not take accountability. They do not value the customer. Several people have dismissed them and now I have also. Get rid of that no class cashier.
This place has gone downhill. It used to be the only place around that sold real NY style pizza. The dough was soft on top but had a slight crisp at the bottom. The cheese was authentic mozzarella with stretch that lasted well beyond 30min after preparation. I would drive an hour to get this pizza. The last two times I’ve had it however have been a disaster. The dough was tough, flavorless and burnt. The cheese is bland. It’s such a disappointment.
I have to say, I have never left a 1 star review before so this is a tough one for me...but, I feel it is justified in this instance. I placed my order online at 7pm with an estimated wait time of 30 minutes. Received a confirmation text that the order was received and should be ready around 7:36pm, and that I would get another text when the order was ready. I got that text at 7:37pm, arrived at 7:40pm, and was told at the counter it would be ready in 5-7 minutes. No big deal. I waited in my car, went back in 7 minutes later, only to discover my order was still not ready. Customer after customer came and went with their orders as I sat there looking confused but trying to be patient after being told multiple times "let me go check on your sandwiches!" Mind you, my pizza was ready the moment I arrived. They, at least, kept it on the "warmer" for me. Finally, 25 minutes AFTER I received the text my order was ready, it came out. I was told the wait was because I ordered hot sandwiches, they aren't prepared until you arrive because they cannot keep them in a warmer. I didn't understand the point of the text stating it was ready, but I didnt make a big fuss....until I got home less than 10 minutes later. The pizza was COLD, not even close to warm. I had to put it in the oven to melt the cheese again because it was hard. The "hot" sandwiches were just barely warm and nothing to rave about either, sadly. Maybe my experience may have been better if dining in, or only ordering pizza to go. 🫤 ...Or, maybe, Tony's shouldn't tell their customers their order is ready and its not actually ready. 🤷🏻♀️
The food wasn’t particularly appetizing as someone who made NY pizza for 3 years, and certainly upset about TIP FRAUD. I specifically wrote out a total of $44.00 on my receipt, with a clear tip of $0.15 to round up $43.85 to $44, and they committed tip fraud as my charge was updated to $58 for a pizza and a pasta dish. RIDICULOUS.
I really wish the cashiers and cooks would stop eating right at the counter. They eat with their bare hands, then continue to touch bags, registers, take money, bag food and etc. it’s truly disgusting!!! No handwashing in sight. I really wish they would raise their standards a bit for the staff. No uniforms, stained shirts, no greeting, eating while taking your orders, it’s just really gone down since Covid.
Let me start by saying, Tony’s has excellent pizza. With that being said, I live in Locust Grove and called them before leaving my house to see if they were still open and not closing early since it’s about a half hour drive. This was at 8:30 and they close at 10:00. The person I spoke with said yeah, come on in! I get there and sit down at a table and they then tell me they just shut the ovens off! I was so mad…wasted an hour of my time driving there and back home! This is the kind of thing that will get me to never come back to this place again!
Crust separates from pizza . Hard to bite through . You basically gotta saw at the crust. I repeat key had to put the toppings back on the crust because the crust is so tough. Ask for well done or cooked twice. Still came under cooked and hard to bite. Toppings were fresh but unless you have shark teeth I wouldn’t recommend it. Gave a 25 dollar tip. Also ordered with Basil , got nothing . They are also very cheap with toppings. You might get 1 or 2 on a slice. Best bet is to eat it with a knife and fork. 60 bucks down the drain from chuckle cheese chewy crust .
I ordered chicken piccata. What I got was some chicken with cream of mushroom soup. There was no capers and no lemon butter sauce. What kind of place offers Italian dishes and its prepared nothing like it should be. The photo online had capers like real chicken piccata . Never going here again. I gave it to my dog. And the garlic bread was a sub roll with some garlic butter on it. 19.43 wasted.
