Really good pizza, and reasonable prices. There’s a reason why they outlasted the dollar pizza shop down the block from them. Menu is simple and limited. Their pizza is always consistent and tasty. You need to make sure to eat it while fresh and hot! No place to sit, it’s more like grab and go. Been coming here since I was a little girl, and each slice will always be very nostalgic!

Sometimes I will google Map the south Bronx and think of the days when my Mom would bring me and my Brother here over 30 years ago. I miss this pizza, if I ever come back to the Bronx this might be one of my first stops.

This place was around before i was born. I came here as kid. I come back as a grown man. I'm 34 now and they have maintained quality over all those years. Small pie with extra cheese it's what i always get

Despite the dingy appearance, this pizza is DELICIOUS!!! Always fresh; none of that stale left-over from yesterday stuff. The staff are fast and efficient, even with large orders. They do not deliver. There is a table or two inside. Wish there were more topping choices, but overall great.

Don’t know where the recent positive reviews are coming from, but it’s very obvious this place has new ownership. The pizza is edible, I guess, but nothing like it used to be; Hardly any cheese and the sauce has no flavor now. All that and they charge the most for a slice anywhere. New ownership has done a real disservice to the Golden Pizza name, and I should know, I’ve been coming to this place for 30 years. Will have to find a new place; If I want mediocre NY slices, I can go to literally any place “on the corner” around.

This use to be one of the best pizza joints in the area and you can clearly see it was amazing because of the line they use to always have. However, their pizza has gotten pretty inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s horrible. Considering that their slice is $3 I expect more consistency in their value. I don’t recommend ordering pies through the phone because they will give you an old one that someone most likely didn’t pick up. My last draw was when they gave me a pie with expired cheese, I knew it was expired because it tasted like expired milk. Super gross and a waste of money.

Since eating pizza here on 6/9/2021 i have headache stomach pain body ache and diarrhea and feel super hot they are not clean they not following covid 19 protocol they was making pizza with the same gloves they was using to cash you out I will never buy here again . And the employee don't look clean My health is always first
