Stopped in to pick up lunch since this location is near my office and I wanted to get out and get some fresh air (despite all the construction going on The Grand Concourse). The place is very clean and the person taking my order was very attentive and quick. It got crowded but they handled it quite efficiently. I ordered the Lamb over Rice and it comes with a soda. It was delicious and the presentation was lovely.

They just remodeled the store and the food quality has improved, and taste just as great or better than before.

I know its not healthy but when you want a decent piece of Southern fried chicken and you don't want to make it yourself this is the place. Greasy, crunchy, and ooooooh so good!

It was my first time visiting this Kennedy Chicken Grill location and I was blown away by the exceptional service and the atmosphere not to forget it was extremely clean and well maintained. The guys behind the counter work as it's a family business and so they treated every customer the same with respect and appreciation. The only thing is that this location needs some seating for customers. I was standing inside the restaurant for quite sometime eating my meal and also observing the service. Extraordinary team work. Food is good as well as the service. They will help you through the menu and make adjustments to your order if need be. I've never seen them NOT be accommodating. Always a friendly staff and clean as well

I mean, just like any other of its kind. this spot gives me a nostalgic feeling as if I'm in the 90's all over again. Retro interior like the establishment never renovated. Service is A+ and food is fast; also the food is well cooked. You may have to ask for your table to be cleaned, but it's a cool spot!

Worst with customer service, very rude, I ordered two platters chicken over rice white sauce and I have a thing about spicy food and so I always say not spicy.. so I said that. I could tell he was being rude like and it was after he saw I only spoke English and not Spanish and that I was not Spanish and that he didn't like this at all because he was great at first until I stated no Espanol only English he completely began treated me differently.When we got home it was spicy and I only tried a tiny piece of chicken I closed it up immediately and my hubby never ate his we brought it back and explained and the worker said I never said not spicy and they only do spicy and so does everywhere else. I explained I can get very sick can not have spicy. So what could we do? He not only refused to redo the food he accused us of eating half and lying to get a refund. Now, I really can not eat spicy food I get very sickly, and the food on the way slid to one side it happens , anyway we told him that we never ate it, and that the customer should always be right and should never accuse one of lying nor eating half. That it's his job to satisfy a customer to come back. I then let him know I'd be making a complaint not only for what happened but also for part of it or just being the fact that we were but Spanish so he was rude and mistreated us for it. So, 20.00 meal was basically a waste and we then had to purchase other food elsewhere. It's a bad place...

The ladel to handle food fell and the chef just rinse with water hang it up for about ten seconds next thing it was clipping up my food , I walked out leaving food and money I told them to keep it and I was very hungry fried plantains and fish I will never go back other shift they think the plastic bag is okay to stock the food on the floor a *SANITARY INSPECTOR* is needy to observe.

Just know that they illegally charge your card as credit even if it's debit and charge 13%. For those that don't know only credit has a 3-4% surcharge not debit and not 13%. My order went from $42 to $47.56. So I'm disputing the very much illegal surcharge and reporting to 311 & states attorney general.
