This is a cute neighborhood coffee shop with crepes and other foods. I tried the espresso drinks, which were great. The service was fast and attentive.

So grateful for my neighborhood coffee shop, Blackmilk! The owners, Dana and Dmitry are incredibly good people, you can tell how much they care about their customers and the food and drinks that they make for them! They not only make delicious coffee and crepes, but the environment itself is very warm and inviting. It's a great space to get your work done, read, journal, or have coffee with friends. Even if you grab something to go, they always remember you and your order.

Cozy café, outstanding crepes! We shared the strawberry Nutella and the lox crepes. Both fantastic. A latte and Chai latte capped us off. The staff are extremely nice. Definitely worth the walk from where we are staying

From now on, it's my go-to breakfast place whenever I'm in Brooklyn. I've tried salmon crepe, prosciutto crepe and mascarpone crepe in two days, and each of them are delicious in their own way. Lattes were perfectly done. Lovely vibe. 💙💛

This cafe is super lovely, its vibes were exactly what I was looking for, something that will feel neighborhoody, easy and warm. The service was wonderful and so was the food and the coffee, I'm definitely coming back. This cafe is one of my favorite in the city from now on.

Been going here for coffee and lattes for a while and just recently had my first crepe. All are excellent and the service here is top notch. The inside is comfortable and good for sitting down with your laptop.

A pro Ukraine coffee shop with unbelievable homemade crêpes, what can be better?? The lattes are also delicious but the crêpes are out of this world. The perfect place to go for breakfast, a quick snack, or if you need to get some work done. Their outside space is really beautiful and the long table inside fosters a sense of community not easily replicated. Slava Ukraini!

The crepes were delicious! Some of the best I’ve ever had. The avocado crepe sounds simple in theory but was very flavorful and the Nutella banana crepe was great too!

Love love LOVE the crepes, both the sweet (with nutella & fruit, or mascarpone) & savory ones. For most of the crepes on the menu, they follow a traditional Ukrainian recipe for "nalysnyky"; just delightful. It takes a few minutes to get a crepe but that's a good thing: everything is made fresh, so worth waiting for. There's also a good range of hot & cold beverages & baked goods. Great place for breakfast, lunch, or a quick snack.

Unfortunately, I dropped my ring there and remember dropping something but not knowing exactly what then realized my ring was missing. Can you please message me back if it's still there? It's really symbolic.

Really friendly staff with good food. I really like the overnight oats (which are a good vegan option) and appreciate how there are berries throughout the oats instead of just on top. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

The ultimate comfort food when I’m missing the authentic European crepes back home. I’ve tried the sweet and savory crepes and both are an absolute treat. Portions are generous. The coffee & matcha is great too and everyone is friendly.

First of all, they have great coffee! I was surprised they had a good selection of savory crepes. The orange sweet and sour sauce they serve with the prosciutto crepe was great! Their music was also great!

An absolute gem here in Crown Heights, Brooklyn! It’s my number one spot for coffee. 🤣 The coffee, food, service and the attention to detail is brilliant and CONSISTENT! You can’t go wrong at Black Milk Coffer and Crepe!

The vibes at this place are always immaculate. The coffee is great and the crepes are amazing, and it's independently owned. There's plenty of comfortable space for working, good wifi, and some outlets. I became a regular here for the atmosphere and quality, but also for the people who work there. They're always super friendly and remember regulars - but also the other day I spilled my coffee everywhere (including on someone else's stuff, kill me), and totally unasked, they gave me a new one, no charge.

I stopped in about a month ago for coffee and fell in love with their delicious espressos, iced coffees, and fair prices. Today I had their crepes for the first time, and they are AWESOME. The sweet crepes are great, with excellent quality fruit, but I was blown away by the savory crepe. The squid ink adds a cool color, but I couldn't really taste it. What I loved was the delicious crepe itself combined with the addictive dressing they put on top. Also, they added an egg inside (off menu), which transformed it into something like the best breakfast burrito you've ever eaten. Portions are generous, so expect to share or take home leftovers. Also, the back yard is extremely pleasant and the staff are really lovely. What's not to love?

I know they also make crepes which SMELL delicious - haven't tried them but have overheard others say they're delicious so maybe I'll take the plunge next time I'm there!

Had excellent savory crepes and avocado toast with my son. Everything was excellent, especially the smoked salmon. The cappuccino was also skilfully prepared. Wish I lived closer!

Like walking into a portal on Franklin Ave to Grand Ave in Williamsburgh , adorable backyard, creative, fun, healthy creative, and delicious drinks , love their Chuggacinno hot or cold (spelling!?) great staff , Baristas that could cut it anywhere in Portland, OR or Seattle, (that’s a huge compliment). Art / cool and hip, bathroom: clean and no stink, food excellent and tantalizing… checks all the boxes , another great spot on a great strip of commercial businesses there on Franklin Ave!

Black Milk serves the best iced lattes I’ve had in the neighborhood. The space is beautiful and the back patio is so nice on a Saturday afternoon. The salmon crepe was so tasty and I loved the sauce that came with it. 10/10 can’t wait to go back for another scrumptious iced latte!

This is our third trip to NYC from New Zealand. Black Milk has proved to be the best espresso around. Love, love love visiting there!

Stumbled across this place and happy I did! Great coffee, good crepe, and nice seating area. Only suggestion would be to use capers instead of olives in the salmon crepe.

Super clean, a warm environment, with very hospitable owners! Not one detail was missed in making this place make you feel welcome. My obvious favorite were the squid ink crepes. I am a spoiled, picky eater, and these savory crepes made with all fresh produce really hit the spot. Think I developed a new craving!! We sat in the lovely garden situated in the back, where one the owners Dima brought out our desert crepe with peaches and creme fresh. I also tried the organic superfood chaga latte for the first time. I have to mention the complimentary sanitizers were a very sweet touch. Thank you Black Milk Coffee for adding a bit of cozy culture with amazing coffee to the neighborhood!

It’s a cozy breakfast spot with a small backyard. I had smoked salmon crepe based on the recommendation of the waiter. I also had almond croissants. No complaints!

My to-go crepe place in Brooklyn (also bc I live close by 😋) I only get the Nutella crepe with strawber🍓and banana 🍌 so I can’t say much about the other crepe options but the Nutella is mm mm very YUM !! pair it with a tea to balance it all out all the sweetness and it’s perfectt! Walked in here on a whim, you would be suprised of how many small shops aren't even open yet at 11 a.m. in the area. Ordered a nutella crepe and haven't looked back, the taste was amazing. Aesthetics aside, the design of the small shop looks like they put in a lot of work into every little detail. I would come here again, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting brooklyn.

One of my favorite places for lunch when I'm in the area. The crepes (both savory and sweet) are delightful. I recently had the maple cinnamon latte and it paired perfectly with the banana & peanut butter crepe (highly recommended). Also, everyone there is super nice. So glad I found this place!

Such a cute spot! They have WIFI if you want to work out of there and they play soft music if you want to do a quick catch up with friends. I got a chocolate croissant and salted caramel iced latte which were both delicious. The staff were really friendly. I can’t believe it took me so long to visit but I will definitely be back!

Super cute neighborhood cafe! Came in on a Sunday morning for some coffee and crepes and everything came out so quick and delicious! What we ordered: Cappuccino, matcha latte - 5/5 fragrant and served at a perfect drinking temperature. One of the better matchas on Franklin Ave Ham crepe - a delicious, hefty crepe. I enjoyed the tomato to ham ratio 👌🏼 French crepe - lemon and sugar and I asked for condensed milk drizzle. There’s a private back patio that will be perfect for warm weather dining! I want to bring a book and hide away there next time!

Delicious! Salmon avocado crepe is so good! The crepe was big like a full meal and salmon was so fresh! When I complimented the salmon the owner said they shop everyday to provide the freshest produce. It's a perfect brunch spot or a workplace. Interior design is aesthetically pleasing with elements of industrial style and modern art. I felt like eating in MoMA. Very clean and cozy. Loved the cold brew coffee! Will be back for cappuchino and pastries

The atmosphere here is amazing, there is some seating for individuals/pairs and an area for a group. The cafe ambiance is relaxing and ideal for just sitting and chatting. They had the best oat milk chai latte, carrot cake, and of course crepes. Never had a mango matcha crepe before but it works super well!!! I totally support that they have a couple laptop-free tables, because as a student too I do understand wanting to study. Unfortunately many workers and students take up tables for very long hours, displacing other types of guests. I was so glad to have room as an in and out guest to sit and just hangout with my loved ones at the cafe, especially in cold weather.

Black Milk is the cutest, coziest spot in Brooklyn for a coffee with friends! I love a morning meet up here. Everything about the place brings joy. The crepes are to die for, the people are so kind, and when the back patio is open during the nice weather you know you could sit for hours ordering refills and yapping. I've been coming here since I moved to the neighborhood and I have to admit they stole my heart! Every visit feels special: from kind staff and welcoming atmosphere to creative drinks and outstanding food. The owners also work here, so you can be assured you will get the best treatment! I've tried their sour, as well as sweet, crepes and I loved the variety of them. My favorites are smoked salmon and prosciutto crepes. Always freshly made and mouthwatering! They have a good choice of baked goods and desserts so you'll definitely find something to your liking. I've tried many carrot cakes in my life and can definitely say their cake is the best! Moist and moderately sweet. The coffee is so good, I never leave without a bag to enjoy it at home. The atmosphere is uplifting yet, invites you to get lost in your thoughts. I am looking forward to the warmer days when I can relax in their cozy backyard and enjoy my most favorite breakfast or lunch.

My favorite place ever ! After work I go here to have my favorite salmon toast and Cappuccino .Today I decided to spice things up and get salmon toast with prosciutto and feta cheese. This is new toast I asked to make for me and it was the Best Toast Ever! Hoping they will add this Toast to the menu for everybody ! Place has great atmosphere and amazing staff ! I recommend going here for the crepes, they were awesome. The drinks could be better though. We had an iced chai latte and an iced mocha latte, both were a bit weak or watery in flavor.

The food / staff / atmosphere were really good; I had basic crepe with lemon and syrup and their mushroom latte (all which were recommended to me by the very nice staff). I was lucky to have happened by this place on a long walk and glad I did. It was nice to sit comfortably for an hour by myself, eating good food in a low key spacious cafe, watching the latest episode of Invincible.

The staff is friendly and efficient, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. However, I was a bit surprised to see a tip prompt when placing my order at the counter. While I appreciate good service, tipping should feel optional, not expected at a self-service counter. Still, it’s a lovely spot worth visiting for the coffee and vibe.

Wonderful crepes. Good coffee. Cozy vibes. Fast, secure WiFi. They also have a cute patio in the back. The only bummer is that they have signs on most tables that prohibit laptop use. I would understand enforcing that on off-work hours but who would be coming to a coffee shop at 2pm on a workday without a laptop?! There were several tables open but they said we couldn't use our laptops on them so we ended up crammed on a side table until a spot opened up on the long table they had by the entrance.

Coffee was a little burnt and not super flavourful. Savoury crepes used white flour which was a little odd (compared to the pictures in previous reviews which used some kind of whole wheat flour) and were also just kind of fine. Really nice vibe but the food is unexciting.

Great crepes and coffee!. But the computer users who use the place as a an office with their one coffee purchase dominate the seating at noon, especially near the bright windows. For the entire hour we were there eating in the dismally dark back of cafe we saw not one of the 6 computer users get up to buy another item! No shame. I won’t go back unless the seating for dining moves to the windows.

We came to the place only because on their website and Instagram account specifically mentioned that there were gluten-free crepes (for $2 more than the “normal” crepe price). The only response when asking about gluten-free crepes has been “no, we don’t have any”. This kind of deceptive advertising of food is unacceptable, if we had known this beforehand we wouldn’t have come. Anyway, two stars because the coffee is good and the place is cool and cozy. I really encourage the place to try to keep the gluten-free options, as celiacs really really appreciate having these options when we go out (as it is uncommon) ;)

Super rude staff, if you have a dog don’t even think about stepping food in there because they will kick you out. I understand it’s due to sanitation, however I couldn’t even in the outdoor area with my pup. Came all the way from LIC to try it out and was sent home lol — never again
