I came a few hours before they close shop. I visited their old location long ago and the bagels are still good. At the time I arrived bagels are half off. I really want to arrive when they’re recently made. I ordered two plain bagels, a jalapeño bagel and one plain bagel with cream cheese. I was not disappointed. They really give you a lot of cream cheese! All of this cost me less than $7! They are one of few places that actually prepare your cream cheese bagel. You can tell this place has a lot of tradition and they’re Doyers fans. They don’t have a place to sit and eat as far as I can tell. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is an issue around here but it’s free if you get it.

Old school bagel shop exactly what I imagined. I got an open faced classic tomato and it was delicious. Service was nice and friendly Will be back

Delicious, Fresh Bagels! I've ordered plenty for staff breakfast and folks are always happy. I recommend you try all their bagels at least once so you can find your favorite. I definitely like their onion and cheese, they're jalapeno, and they're Pizza bagel. Their breakfast potatoes are amazing and their drip coffee is on point.

Awesome selection of flavors for bagels and shmear (cream cheese). Quick service. Loved the cheese bagel. Parking is a bit tough but that’s no big deal. I’d definitely come back again. Yum city.

Brooklyn Deli in Lancaster, CA, its a gem! The food, like my delightful lox bagel and my daughter's tasty brisket bagel, was simply amazing. The owner's kindness, including the locks for the chain of love and the complimentary fresh-squeezed juice, made our visit memorable. Definitely a must-try for anyone in Lancaster seeking a fantastic dining experience!

Love the place! Bagels are delicious! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. My fav are the sesame and pizza bagels. They have a lot of other choices I can’t wait to taste. Everything is freshly baked. They also offer cream cheese, lox, coffee and fresh squeezed juices.

This is a classic bagel & hits you right where you need it. Extra sesame & crunchy pieces. Wrapped in a classic checkered paper. I get the egg&cheese on everything. It isn’t just cream cheese but American too. And what can I say. When it slaps it slaps.

This place has an amazing shakshuka - I've been meaning to try other things but have gotten that twice in a row because it was so good the first time. Comes with really good sourdough and salsa as well. Only negative thing I have to say is that they didn't turn off their online ordering on Yom Kippur so I ordered and paid only to get there and find it closed (I didn't realize it was a holiday until I got there). That said, I was able to show them screenshots of that order and get the order filled a different day without paying again

Yum! Best bagel I had in NYC. Freshly baked, good ingredients, nice lemonades. It’s a bit smaller than usual bagels in the city, but it’s a perfect portion for me :)

This place is absolutely beautiful and very clean. Everything is well organized and professional, with a calm and elegant atmosphere. Even though the staff didn’t smile much, the overall experience was still pleasant. I ordered a Tourist Bagel, but honestly, it wasn’t very tasty. Still, I will definitely come back and try something else next time. I would recommend this place for its cleanliness and design.

Ordered a lot for my office and everyone loved it. Best sourdough pizza in the entire Brooklyn, possibly in the entire world. Only good things to say about Brooklyn bagel. Fast service, excellent delicious flavorful food… nothing but 5 starts,

Absolutely delicious bagels, Pizza, and Pastries. Highly recommend. The staff were also extremely friendly. The food came very quickly and was delicious. Plus they have a really good ordering system so that you aren't stuck waiting in line. Also very nice place to sit with about 6 tables (room for 12-15 people in the store total).

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Brooklyn Bagels Pastries in Williamsburg, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked goods and the friendly smiles of the staff. The selection of bagels and pastries was impressive, with a wide variety to choose from. Whether you're a fan of classic flavors or looking to try something new and adventurous, they have something for everyone. Each item was made with care and attention to detail, resulting in flavors that were simply divine. Not only were the bagels and pastries delicious, but the service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience for every customer. Overall, I highly recommend Brooklyn Bagels Pastries to anyone in the area or visiting Williamsburg. It's the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or enjoy a leisurely breakfast. I'll definitely be returning to sample more of their tasty treats!

We went here during our vacation in 3 days 3 times for breakfast because it was super good. Fresh and delicious bagels (build-your-own), amazing pastries (they even were still warm in the early morning) and good coffee. All for a reasonable price, we spent ~10$ per person and all were more then full :) No toilets, no WiFi. They even have fresh Sushi and Pizza in the store which looked very good.

I loved the style of this place when you walk in, it feels like an old school bagel shop, and the space creates the atmosphere that you’re only there to get your food and get out, which I like. The bread was a little stale, maybe I should have asked for it toasted, and the cucumber slices were a little thicc, but overall not a bad bagel. I got the lox, and the salmon and smear were fresh and tasty, only mild complaints are about the bread.

Always check out the best bagel joints while visiting towns. Brooklyn had the history to check out. Great selection of bagels. No line. Online ordering is very efficient. I had the everything with cream cheese. Very fresh and tasty bagel. The cream cheese didn’t impress me. Overall would go again.

I’ve come to really like these bagels. Lots of flavors to choose from. The issue for me is the inconsistent sizing. Some are 1/2 the size of others. But all the same price lol. Oh well.

Yay! They are finally open again! I was waiting for this place to open for the longest! I had always seen this place near my house when I had recently moved. The problem is, it closed and we didn't get a chance to try these delicious bagels. So we patiently waited and it has finally opened again 🤗 we went today trying to get some bagels but to my sad surprise, they were out of sesame bagels 💔. I truly hope that they plan on making enough of the semame bagels to have for the whole day because that should be in stock since it's a very common and high demand type of bagel 😬 I will definitely go back again and I hope they have it in stock along with maybe not leaving their milk container for the coffee in the sun 😅 But yeah, my husband loved the blueberry bagel and the pizza bagel. Their cream cheese was also pretty good. I just wish the bagels were a bit bigger but overall I'm so glad they are open again 🎊 wishing you guys all the best and for many many many more years to come 👍🏼

I lived in NY, worked in NJ. I know what a bagel is supposed to taste and feel like. Texture, taste is equally important. I've been here once to try it. I drove out of the way just to get a bagel on a Saturday morning. It was around 10am, so not too early for a weekend, not too late. I ordered 4 bagels. An everything bagel with cream cheese. A plain jalepeno cheese. A cheese bagel with cream cheese. And a blue berry bagel with cream cheese. I did not get any of them toasted. The bagels were advertised to be fresh, and they should stand well enough on their own. My everything bagel was a bit dry. There wasn't enough cream cheese in it. For LA people, It's enough. For an East coaster, it's too light. Needs 2x as much, easy. The plain jalepeno cheese was much better. It had the correct texture of a bagel. Slightly crisp on the outside, soft and doughy and dense in the middle. This was much better. The blueberry once again, pretty dry. The cheese bagel was average. Can't complain. Overall I give it a 4. It's very similar to a Goldsteins, which means it's way better than a supermarket bagel, probably equal to a deli in NYC, but not on the same level as a GREAT bagel place in Jersey or NYC. I wouldn't make the trek just to get these bagels.

I ordered a build your own bagel via DoorDash. Jalapeno cheese bagel with garlic cream cheese, bacon and avocado. I wish they had the option for extra cream cheese because they hardly put any on my bagel. They were not stingy with the avocado though! It was a decent bagel open face sandwich. I'll probably try something different next time.

K
KARLA

My everything bagel was rock solid! I couldn’t believe it. So stale and hard to break off a bite. All the other types of bagel baskets seemed empty. Maybe nobody really buys the everything bagels, so maybe they’re days old…. The service was great. Friendly staff and fast service.

Being a native New Yorker, I figured I’d give this place a shot. First impressions were solid — classic bagel-shop vibe with all the right feels. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. Oddly, they didn’t have scallion cream cheese on the menu, which I thought was strange. When I got my bagel, it was warm — apparently toasted, even though I was never asked, and I definitely didn’t want it toasted. Weird choice. Also found it kind of odd that the bagel was not cut in half standard. I never been to a bagel shop on the East Coast. I didn’t cut their bagels in half after serving them with cream cheese. Not the biggest deal but still something. Bagel was decent. They tried.

After reading Food & Wine’s list of best bagels in the country and seeing Brooklyn Bagel Bakery listed, I had to try. I was disappointed. I’d say the bagels are average, better than store bought but not as good as other bagel spots in LA. The veggie cream cheese is bad. Veggie cream cheese should be thick with chucks of fresh veggies. This was loose and had an overwhelming taste of vinegar. I scraped it off to finish the bagel, but no cream cheese should taste of vinegar. Disappointing experience.

The place looks nice, but out of the three times we ordered coffee, only the third time we actually received what we asked for, even though the order is placed through a machine... Unfortunately, that time the coffee tasted burnt (or something was off), and it was so bad we couldn’t drink it...

Food looks nothing like the menu photos. Pancakes with maple syrup had no maple syrup at all. The 6 blueberries were still frozen. They forgot my orange juice. We spoke to the chef. Little joy. On a positive note the coffee was good as was the juice when I eventually got it. Keep your receipt so you can show what you actually ordered.

Not a place for vegans🍃🚫 I got their avocado toast that was pictured pretty nicely but rang up at $12. I was visiting for the day with two others, non vegan. They enjoyed their food, but my experience was subpar at best. I was given two pieces of cold slightly toasted (or possibly stale it was hard to tell) with mushed avocado. It’s advertised as having sprouts tomato radish and other fixings and served on what looks to be sliced bread rather than the smashed roll it came on. I quickly caught the waiter who returned it to the kitchen to get “fixed” which just meant the toast would get colder and the chef added onions, tomatoes, and like two slices of radish . It was alright but not at all worth $12. Sorry!!

Their bagels are flat. The toast method is with a panini press which makes it even flatter. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with butter and a coffee. The bagels taste more like flavored bread than bagel. It might have been a better choice to call this place "Brooklyn Sandwiches". Average coffee (hot only) Cost before tax: $2.75 Toasted butter bagel This price includes plain, everything, sesame bagel. Additional $1-2 for any special bagel i.e. multigrain / flagel $4.75 Bagel and cream cheese with vegetables Standard bagel choices (refer above) and plain cream cheese. Flavored cream cheese is an additional $0.75. There is no reduced pricing for just a plain bagel with cream cheese which should at most cost $4 considering bagel quality. $1.75-$2.75 Hot self serve drip 12/16 ounces Ordering is with a computer screen, but they face the sun so difficult to see. In summary, a difficult underwhelming experience for someone who is looking for a simple bagel with cream cheese and a cup of coffee.

I ordered a Bacon Egg & Cheese thinking it would be the closest thing to one back home in Manhattan but boy was I wrong this block of egg in my sandwich with a harden bagel was left behind I just ate the bacon. The staff surely must be from NY with their smirky attitudes. I ordered a basic coffee no frills no one can mess up and no doubt they put water in it. $60 later and all I’m left with is their Attitude and their food in the garbage. Seriously go to Winchell’s for better food, service and basic coffee no one should messing up!

Horrible service, there was no one in the store as I was the only one there, I was not greeted and an Uber driver came in and went past me and the woman started helping him. Then after she took a phone order and not once did they ask if I needed help as I was waiting for assistance even though THEY SAW ME even my baby said hi to one of the staff but still no one helped to take my order so I just left. Ridiculous.

Walked in, not a single employee visible. They have those ordering screens with photos that are not theirs (avocado sandwiches with ham when this establishment has a kosher menu) and incomplete options per item.

My husband ordered the Brazilian Parmesan Pesto Fries, and I honestly can’t believe the kitchen looked at those fries and thought it was acceptable to serve them. They were badly burnt and completely inedible. We even tried picking out the ones that weren’t totally charred, hoping a few might be okay. I tried to make my husband feel better by saying some didn’t look that bad, but we both quickly realized it was pointless, they were disgustingly burnt. Paying about $13 just for them to go straight in the trash was beyond frustrating. The only decent item was the Crunchy Fried Lox, which my husband liked, but the portion is very small for $14.50. We also ordered the Queen Elizabeth pancakes. When we ordered, we had already been waiting about 20–30 minutes before someone even came out clearly confused about the cream cheese frosting we paid extra for, even though it was listed on the menu. We ended up telling him to just take it off. After waiting over 30 minutes total, the food arrived without the cream cheese frosting anyway, yet we were still charged the extra $1.50. It’s not about the amount, it’s the principle. Unfortunately, the pancakes themselves were terrible. They were raw in most spots with a rubbery texture. The dulce de leche was the only thing that made them even remotely edible. I didn’t want my husband’s money to go to waste, so I forced myself to eat what I could and told him it was good because I felt bad and didn’t want him to feel like everything was bad. My husband spent over $40 here and it was a waste, we could have had a much better lunch somewhere else. Sandwiches seem to be good here based on pictures and other reviews, and it looks like some people have had good experiences. However, for our very first visit, we were expecting something closer to what those positive reviews described, and what we got was nowhere near that. Overall, the prices are high for small portions, the quality we received today was unacceptable, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish.

The bagel was okay, however I would not recommend ordering an Acai Bowl. They have no idea how to prepare an acai bowl correctly. First, we received a completely different bowl from what we ordered. We gave it back and asked for the correct order that we placed. The second bowl we received was completely frozen. Even the fruits on top were frozen. We were not able to eat it and gave it back. Do not recommend. Update: I wanted my money back for the Acai Bowl. The employee barely spoke any english and after a while he apparently called his Boss in order to discuss the problem. We waited but the boss never showed up. We never got our money back.

Awful. I ordered the spinach egg white sandwich, literally had no spinach and it was super greasy. I couldn't even complain to the staff because he couldn't speak English. I will not be returning ever.

For $13, instead of a bagel with salmon, I got pickles on bread. UPD: They wrote me a very typical answer below. No one offered me refund or a new bagel. «We are sorry that you had this experience»! I don't recommend this place. At all.
