Super nice place. The area is the nice part of town so it feels safer than other parts of NY. Parking was not terrible. There were many beer selections that you order off your table and brought to the table. They also have a way to order food from the nearby BBQ place. Oh and the salsa that comes with the chips is really really good! Def a great place to stop by!
we loved our experience. done a fair few brewery tours around europe but id say this one beats all of them. ice cold beer on entry was great after the walk we did to get there, great to see the back of house and having 3 beer tastings. the souvenier glass was a nice touch aswell. jessie was our guide she was great. we stayed at the brewery for the quiz night and it got super busy. would definitely recommend
Cozy brewery with good craft beers. Tour was short but fun. Staff was helpful.
Great place to visit while in Brooklyn. Experience was good already from the email booking, to the standard tour, but especially the Flora and fauna tour was a great experience. A lot of nice barrel ages stuff was shared, the guide was very personal and friendly, lots of great stories and tasting! Good to hang out in the bar area after a tasting, and lots of cool merch!
Service was friendly, he let us try the sake and it was on point so we got two. My other friend got two different beers and he enjoyed them both as well. Plenty of seating, there is also board games for people to play and many areas to hang around and talk, I’d come back to try out some of the other offerings
An incredible tour experience. James was highly knowledgeable, fun, engaging, and entertaining. We had an incredible tour, and learned so much about the building, brewing process, and beer in general. James told stories, shared fun facts, and answered all of our questions. Plus, so much beer was included in the tour (and beer glasses!) Highly highly recommend a tour with James!! (A shoutout to his brothers; a fun personal story!) Cheers 🍻
Brooklyn Brewery is a worthwhile local trip if you live in the York area. The tour is quick, but informative and interesting. There are few other places in the city you can get a quality draught beer for $4 or $5 and you can bring in food from outside (there was a Greek food truck just outside the day I was there). I highly recommend a trip to the brewery.
Really fun place to have some beers and learn about the brewery. I would recommend doing the tour, it's a good time especially if the guide is 3 beers deep. They have a variety of beers available and some games to keep you entertained while drinking. The main downside is that they have really weird hours.
We visited the brewery on a Saturday for the 1pm tour. We arrived at 12:30 and there were already quite a few people waiting in the bar area but we made it onto the tour without any issues. The tour is fairly short but interesting - a 20 min talk and walk through the brewing process and the history of the company and it’s founders. After the tour we spent some time in the bar area which serves $6 pints, $14 flights, and some $8 beer based cocktails. There are lots of games, a few snacks and good music so a nice place to spend a few hours.
The BEST stout beer ever in my life. Did open run at 4pm even though my flight is at 6pm @LGA. A clear note of chocolate was fantastic. In addition, their larger is also the good one. Glad to visit here at the last minute just before the returning flight. No regret though rushing to the airport right now lol
Since the taproom update a few(?) years ago this place went from below average to a Williamsburg favorite. They got rid of the token system and changed the layout to make the line to the bar significantly shorter/faster. Plenty of seating options ranging from bar stools to communal tables to a lounge area to (currently) umbrella-covered outdoor furniture are available. About 12 rotating beers on draft, as well as a limited selection of bottles pours from the cellar. Plenty of cans and bottles are also available to go. They also have a number of free-to-play arcade machines and board games. The gift shop carries all the swag you can possibly dream of.
We came in for a drink and browsed the gift shop where we met the lovely Christine. She was incredibly friendly and helpful. This was the first shop that sold bucket hats and coming from the UK having forgotten my hat this was a life saver! Christine was so friendly and her service was impeccable. Beer was amazing but this was second to the customer service we received! Will be saving up to come back across the Atlantic to visit again! ☺️
The NYC craft beer / brewery scene has come a long way over the years, and regardless of how you feel about the business of beer, I think Brooklyn Brewery lives up to the hype of being arguably one of the most iconic players. The beers are great, the vibe in the tasting room is so much fun, and the staff is awesome. Always worth a visit when you're in the neighborhood.
Iconic brewery and a great place to hangout and meet up with family and/or friends. The tap room is spacious and has a loose vibe. The brewery does a fantastic job keeping a wide variety of options to choose from. From sours and browns to more traditional brews like IPAs and lagers (of course), they even have a hard seltzer option. I would recommend trying their 4 beer flight before committing to a pint. Cheers Brooklyn 🍻
We went for the small batch tour on Thursday night while visiting NYC. The tour is reasonably priced, $10 per person, but you get a glass to keep and 4 pours, which probably equates to 2 beers each. It's fun to hear about the history and success they've had since starting about 30 years ago. They have a fun bar set up with games, including corn hole, and an N64 with Goldeneye set up, for anyone wanting to take a trip down nostalgia lane.
Great and varied selection of beers, from lagers and IPAs to sours and stouts. Beside the beers, really pleasant location: great mural decoration outside, clean industrial/bricks look inside, with visitable production area. Staff highly competent & friendly. Great choice for your beer in NYC!
Brooklyn Brewery is a cornerstone of the Brooklyn-brewing scene. Its beers reach both local and national consumers, so it’s worth the stop if you’ve had one of their beers in the past. The vibe is that of a typical brewery: plenty of seating, board games available, and a tap selection of both staples, seasonal, and rotating options. Order directly from your table, and staff will bring you your order.
Whether you like beer or not, come and hang out at Brooklyn’s centrepiece social scene. There will be something on tap that would tickle anyone’s fancy: from their take on the classics, to all the weirder stuff. While you are at it, have a gander around and check out the impressive interior: the big vats and pipes over a solid brick backdrop and mood lighting is iconic. As out-of-towners in Brooklyn for the first time, we enjoyed walking past the fully seated long tables on a Saturday night, seeing more empty pints around than filled ones. At ‘full house’ capacity, we were happy to be seated right next to a wooden keg for a table. We sipped away and soaked in the lively weekend atmosphere. There were no TV screens playing sports, and no one was on their phone. It was just lots of relaxed people enjoying each other’s company. Something rather nice this day and age. It was no surprise that we enjoyed every drink we ordered, which came with cardboard coasters that we took home as little souvenirs. For those with a bit more time, definitely consider signing up for one of their curated experiences such as a brewery tour. We made the most with the time we had but would definitely love to come back again.
We had our rehearsal dinner here earlier this month and it was perfect. We rented out a private space that allowed us to play our own playlist while our guests were given wrist bands to enjoy the open bar that we also included in the package. We went on a private tour of the brewing process & the space was big enough to allow us to rehearse the wedding, serve food that we had catered from Fornino (highly recommend), and mingle with our guests. Booking the rehearsal space and package was easy and the communication via email was quick and efficient. All my questions were answered in a timely manner and the staff on site were great. & the beers, well duh, they're 10/10 but we already knew that part!
I love craft beers and I loved the brooklyn brewery. Beautiful place in the beautiful williamsburg, we waited a bit to enter and they offered us a tour of the brewery, pretty interesting and funny, I discovered that the most important marching inside useful to produce beer is from italy like many other components! The inside is great, big but cozy, wide choice of beers and very good prices. I would have stayed inside there all night long! Good choice of souvenirs too, I had a beautiful grey/black t-shirt!
As a Brooklynite for many years, this was our neighborhood brewery. They have redone the tap room in the last year and it has become much more cozy and hip. The beer here is great and the have cool swag in the gift shop. Also with free brewery tours on the weekend, you can’t go wrong. The only downside is the incredibly slow service which makes for super long lines to get a beer- so come thirsty but not THAT thirsty because you are definitely in for a wait.
Loved this brewery tour! I’ve been on a few before, but this one was definitely a favourite. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the brewery itself is very cool looking! I loved hearing about the life story of the owner of the brewery (it’s a wild one) and getting to try FOUR different beers along the tour. Totally recommend, it’s absolutely worth the price and the experience is great.
We had a great experience here in March, although we waited a little over an hour to get in outside — but you know what? TOTALLY worth it! Even when we got inside we couldn’t get a table but the experience was just so fun and the staff were so friendly that we still enjoyed ourselves! I bought a t-shirt from their store and I love it! Sizes run small and the lady told me that. Very appreciative of the top because she was right! Beer was amazing and crowd was great! We used the barrels around the floor as a table, a few people tried to steal so we offered to share and made friends. Loved it here! A MUST go for beer lovers! ❤️
I attended a tour of the Brooklyn Brewery and was pleasantly surprised. It was informative, engaging and had alcohol. Our tour guide shared lot of interesting facts about the brewery, it's history and the ties to Brooklyn. The tour is held in their research facility so we had a chance to sample beers that are not on the market. I enjoyed one of our tour guides favorites, la playa. It was a lager with a strong hint of lime! Loved it! The brewery is located in Williamsburg Brooklyn, close to great shops and restaurants. It has a chill ambiance. Inside is a huge casual space to sit and chat or play games.
Excellent brewery, known worldwide (of course!). We went on a tour with Emma, who was very accommodating and friendly. An excellent experience with some tastes of both aged beers and some exclusives. Great quiz afterwards on a Thursday in the bar. The Black Ops Four Roses was especially nice, but dangerous!
Awesome brewery! Definitely a must-do in Brooklyn 🍻 The vibe is great, the service and staff are super friendly, and the beers are top-notch. We tried a few different ones and they were all excellent, but the Black Ops Four Roses really stood out — truly amazing! Highly recommend.
Loved the atmosphere! From the bouncer to the bartenders, everyone treats you really well. Went twice, one of the nights I was able to catch some trivia. Prices are basically the same as every other bar in Williamsburg, but this one has lots of space and it is a nice place to go with more people, since they have huge tables.
I love the concept of the place. It’s an indoor beer garden (they do have outdoor space as well using shipping containers!) with a mix of different seating options. Near the entrance are some high top tables. Further in are some sofas. And then keep going in you find a large space with long communal tables. Again, perhaps being in Williamsburg, the place is dog friendly even indoors. They have a limited food menu (mostly snacks - nothing really cooked). But unsurprisingly, a long beer menu. What I really loved was the combination of multiple pour size options coupled with (to me at least) an innovative ordering/pay system. Instead of predefined flights, many of their offerings are available in a 5oz pour allowing you to mix and match your own. The ordering and checkout is all online and pretty foolproof. After ordering your beer is brought to you by a server (you indicate table # when you order). The only downside is that there’s no one wandering around to answer questions. The vibe was pretty laid back - we struck up a conversation with the folks at our table who happened to also be from LI. So all in all, great ambiance, convenient ordering, and well priced options allowing you to spend as little or as much as you wanted.
Ambiance: Large indoor brewery in Brooklyn decorated in an athletic + modern style that is perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or just hanging out with a group of friends on a weekend. Multiple seating options available including picnic tables, barrel high top tables, couches, stairs, and more. Several beer options available, including a few NA beers! Fast & friendly service. Limited bar food menu (a bit pricey IMO) and a merch area. Multiple Instagram worthy backdrops scattered around the brewery. WiFi available, water stations, and flight options. Worth a visit for any beer lover!
Was in Williamsburg with my future Son-in-Law Mike, and debating a couple of places to start an anticipated fun kinda night. Glad we made our way to the famous Brooklyn Brewery! Quiet night, but still 1st class and attentive service, from the moment we walked in, found a picnic style table to spread out and up to the bar, with very friendly bartenders. Had a good discussion with the knowledgeable and friendly bartender Dan and had a couple of rounds of crisp, delicious beers. Related funny story about "Smuggling" Molson Brador beers from Canada and getting caught, when I was in Syracuse University. A jumble of seating options adds to the chill Williamsburg vibe and a semi-private room was hosting a birthday party! One of walls had a cool artshow from local artist Jocelyn Benford, have to get some merch on next visit, and obligatory pic in front of that famous "B". They have a limited food menu (mostly snacks - nothing really cooked). But unsurprisingly, a long beer menu. When place is busier they use QR code on the menu for ordering, but when a blit slower, the bartenders had no issue with guests ordering right at the bar and discussing all the beer options. So all in all, great ambiance, convenient ordering, and well priced options allowing you to spend as little or as much as you wanted. 1st Class operation all around, we will be back to sample some more of their great beer options! Go and enjoy this WIlliamsburg, Brooklyn jewel!
Great to enjoy a behind the scenes tour with the enthusiastic guide and get both the facts, the history and the inside insights. Get to try out the test beers directly from the tap in the tap room and also their special brew not released to the public. Great location, great beer, nice brewery and great employees. Highly recommended!
Cool brewery near our hotel so we stopped by for a flight. Place was poppin’. The beers are good, and place gave positive vibes. It’s pretty big and if you don’t want to be in the main room where it’s pretty vibrant, you can sit at the front of the house upon entry; there are some single/double seats there. Although packed and busy, the workers move fast and there’s never a long wait or a long line to order your beer. Would definitely visit again when in town.
Go visit this long-running local brewery. The staff is awesome. Grab a pie from the neighborhood (Montesascro wood fire pizza) and enjoy a pint. The brewery has cheese plates and delicious chips, and salsa. Grab some gear and rep the B. Say hi to DJ Adam. If you're lucky, you'll meet Harper. Might even run into Childish Gambino. Family friendly.. board games ..clean bathrooms.
BL was the regular beers back in ‘98-‘99 when I lived on Bedford and N 7th (yeah that corner), when there was not much around (some Irish pubs and Planet Thailand, and pizza and bakery). I come back to the tap room several times from ‘23-‘25, and today I’m making the last visit as I’m going back home to Japan 🇯🇵. Love the BL beers!
I went on a free tour this Sunday and enjoyed some amazing places and top-quality beer. Although my English is not very strong, and I couldn’t fully understand all the explanations, it was still a great experience. The merchandise near the entrance looked lovely, but I plan to purchase some on my next visit.
We’ve been to our fair share of breweries around the nation. This has been by far the best one! From the moment we went through their large red doors to receiving our beer to drink as we walked the tour to purchasing our merch, we had a great time! Dan, our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. They provided us with several small free tastings. The price also included a clean pint glass souvenir. They had a food menu as well. However, we didn't eat anything here. Can’t wait to come back to see the new larger location.
he atmosphere is fantastic—super chill and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can just kick back and enjoy yourself, whether you’re with friends or just grabbing a drink solo. And let’s talk about the beer: It’s seriously delicious. They have a great selection of craft beers, and everything I tried was top-notch. You can really tell they care about the quality of what they’re serving. If you’re into good beer and good vibes, this is definitely a place you should check out. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Very nice location. A beautiful hall with beer garden tables and of course a huge beer selection. There's a brewery tour that shares a lot of expert knowledge about brewing. There are nice murals outside the building. Highly recommended (from an Bavarian [Munich] gentleman who has quite much beer experience).
Worth the stop! Don't skip out on Brooklyn Brewing. Staff is out if this world, I cannot tell you enough how awesome they are! Truly some of the best. The taproom is pretty spacious. Good selection of beers. This is what a brewery is! A good selection of beers with great staff that is welcoming to anyone and everyone to come and have a drink or just hang out.

The beer tour was great! Sloane was a great guide and kept it interesting! The variety of beer is great as is the atmosphere! Worth the trip!
An atmospheric place and very nostalgic since the brewery sells beer all over the world. A great selection of beers. Friendly staff.
I don't even like beer; came with some friends... I thought the place was pretty cool, and despite hating every beer I drink, the Yuka (fruit beer) was easily drinkable! Only negative is the seating availability. There's no place to sit; they could easily rearrange the place to maximize seating.
Great experience on this tour. Dan, our guide, was suitably engaging and passionate about the subject matter. Tour actually showed some things behind the scenes too, which you don't always get. Best of all, the samples offered were fantastic and not just the core range of beers. 12% limited release stouts? Sure, why not? Would do it again when I sober up.
Such a cool place . I was impressed going into the brewing area seeing all of the machinery. Tour guide was very informed and very friendly. Beer was awesome also , I loved the Golden Ale. Plus playing old schools games while you enjoy a nice beer was just a cool experience. Will return for sure. Brooklyn for the win
We were impressed by the variety and flavors of beer, the open seating and the staff. To start, we ordered the tasters. 4 small portions of beer 🍺 which really helped us to make an informed decision. I’m not usually a beer fan but I ended up ordering a glass of the citrus beer. We enjoyed our time here talking to other fans of beer. Relaxing and enjoyable.
First time at Brooklyn Brewery, fine drinking experience on a happy Saturday, the brewery caters to locals and tourists alike. Order directly from your phone by scanning the QR code, the whole ordering process is done without a waitress to talk to. Order, and magically glasses of beers are brought to the table. Since you pay when you order, you can leave anytime after which assurés of good table rotation with plenty of space for everybody. I would not spend a whole evening there, feels a little too corporatish , but certainly worth a stop while browsing Williamsburg. Recommended.

I had high hopes for this brewery since it's the Brooklyn Brewery. This one seems to be a product of heavy gentrification. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing if that's your thing but it definitely feels commercial. When I visited, they played plenty of pop songs that have been on the radio for the last few years. Yet the gift shop was selling Notorious BIG stickers. Definitely expected a brewery with more character.
So much single-use-plastic! Would love to see y’all just serving the multi-use glasses here, instead of a weird mix of plastics and glass. It’s a shame to make so much trash just to get beers with friends. Ruins the ambiance, too! We all know by now that over 90% of plastics don’t get recycled—they insteps go to landfills, the ocean, the incinerator, and/or break down into microplastics that are poisoning us and our ecosystems. You’re already proving you can make reusables work by offering some drinks in glasses. Why not go all the way? And phase out all this plastic mess? Thanks for considering greener options, and thanks as always for the delish beer!
Don’t go here if you mind sharing a bathroom with all genders. Zero privacy for woman and children. Will not go here again. Plus it’s highly overpriced.
Disappointed as a Regular – A Missed Opportunity for Customer Loyalty I’ve been a loyal visitor to Brooklyn Brewery, appreciating their craft and the atmosphere they’ve built over time. However, my recent experience left me feeling undervalued and turned away, despite my consistent support. As someone who understands the importance of customer loyalty in the hospitality and brewery industry, it’s disheartening when a regular guest is not accommodated. I wasn’t looking for special treatment, just a welcoming experience that reflects the brand’s values. Moments like these can make or break a loyal customer’s perception, and in today’s competitive market, businesses thrive on repeat customers who not only return but also bring new guests with them. That’s why I’d love to offer some insight—free of charge—on how Brooklyn Brewery could enhance their approach to regulars and even attract more business: 1. Loyalty Program: Implement a simple system where frequent visitors can earn rewards, whether it’s a discount after a certain number of visits, an exclusive members-only brew tasting, or a free pint after a milestone. This fosters long-term commitment and encourages word-of-mouth marketing. 2. Waitlist Benefits for Regulars: Instead of turning away consistent patrons, offer a waitlist feature where regulars can check in and receive a text when space is available. This keeps the connection alive rather than pushing customers to seek alternatives. 3. Exclusive Promotions & First Access: Give regulars access to limited-edition brews or early invitations to events. This makes patrons feel valued and engaged. 4. Referral Perks: Reward customers who bring in new visitors. Maybe a free half-pint for every guest they introduce to the brewery. 5. Community Engagement: Brooklyn Brewery already has a strong presence, but a little extra outreach—such as a “Regulars Night” or exclusive tastings—would deepen relationships and make people feel like they belong. I genuinely want to see Brooklyn Brewery succeed and continue to be a go-to spot, not just for me, but for many others. But a single bad experience can create hesitation in returning. I hope management considers these insights—because turning away a regular isn’t just losing one visit; it’s potentially losing many future ones.
