The coffee here is top-notch and the baristas are always friendly. This small, beautiful neighborhood café holds a special place in my heart. I had my first date with my wife at Café Regular Du Nord. I contacted the incredibly nice owner, Anne, to see if I could propose to my then girlfriend at the café after closing. Anne was so excited to help me out. My marriage proposal went perfectly. Can't thank this wonderful café enough! I highly recommend coming to this special café to sip some coffee and read a book.

This is the sweetest little cafe with a nice dark interior. My favorite! My (now) husband and I had a morning date here, and it was in this moment with him that I knew I wanted to get married. The ambiance of this place helped to nurture my feelings of love. I will never forget it. Coffee is La Colombe so nothing special. You go here for the vibes. Plus nice outdoor seating when the weather is good.

#TGTG bag collection. I got like four pastries. Two plain croissants and one almond and a fruit scone. The almond was nice and the plain croissants were fluffy, light weight and buttery when reheated. The scone was a bit dry and probably could have done better if reheated. The cafe is in a hustling and bustling side but is quite unassuming but homely. The staff is quite kind and had the order ready for the taking. The bag value/content is something that might be looked into.

Good coffee, La colombe is the one they used days ago, good place to study/read/rest. They have few spots and tables, cozy, good music.

The place itself is super cute and cozy but never had a positive experience there. The coffee is pretty bad and the pastries taste like they are from a grocery store. I never met a barista who seemed like they wanted to be there and are always wildly rude. I gave the place plenty of tries since it’s so close to my house and is one of a few cute coffee spots in the area but it’s pretty shit and just not worth your time.

The hot chocolate was a little too watery, and they do not have an oven to heat up pastries which would really help with the overall experience. Additionally, though they have a posted sign that indicates only service dogs are allowed, a family brought in a puppy that was clearly a pet and had the puppy just sitting on the couches. This is unsanitary and against their own policies, yet none of the workers asked the family to place the dog on the floor (at the bare minimum) or asked them to take their pet outside in accordance with their rules.

Not a great cup. They’re definitely better known for their food. The coffee was a 6/10, bland, bitter and basic. Disappointing indeed.

This review is about sustainability only! 🙂 By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. It is up to both consumers and businesses to stop this pollution at the source. Plastics of course rarely actually get recycled, and instead break down into micro plastics that we consume (and get sick from), get burned in incinerators (that we then breathe in), get buried in landfills (that we have to defrost to create), or float off in the ocean (to countries not responsible for our trash). While I appreciate that you were able to give me a reusable mug when I explicitly asked for it, it made me sad to see nearly every other person in the coffee shop drinking out of a throwaway plastic cup. For a café with such lovely ambience, it’s a shame to muck it up with so much trash. I would bet that your customers would further appreciate the charm and aesthetic of this space if it didn’t come with so much plastic trash. Perhaps you can have your baristas explicitly ask customers if they will be staying at the café to enjoy their drink, and then communicate that they will receive a reusable option. Or perhaps you can put up a sign that encourages customers to bring their own mug, or ask for one. Whatever you try, it would be amazing to try something. Thank you for considering, and for such a lovely space. The plastics crisis is monumental, and it will take all of us to fight it.

Bought a gift card off the website and never received it, no email, no confirmation. Their cafe numbers are out of service, they don’t update their IG. So I have no way of contacting them to receive it. Like an online scam.

Barista was dismissive and unprofessional. I made a simple request, and the response was, “We don’t have time for that, sorry.” With so many great coffee shops in the neighborhood, I won’t be coming back.

Was so excited to try this place. Love the interior and the vibes here but barista was so rude. Got my order wrong and then proceeded to argue with me and insinuate it was my fault for not catching the mistake when i checked out. Then remade me the correct drink with little to no effort. Drink was essentially just warm milk. So bad couldn’t even drink it and threw it out. I’m sure they serve great drinks but the lack of respect in addition to remaking the drink with no effort at all was really disappointing. Will not be going back.
