The delivery driver came to the wrong address when I specifically told him the correct one. I did receive a call telling me to come outside, thats when I noticed he was all the way lost. I saw him almost sit my pizza down on one of those things they build around trees on the sidewalk, and Im like....."Really"! Anywho...I met him down the block and it was SO WORTH IT. PIZZA WAS BANGING!! Mere suggestion....COMMUNICATION IN YALL STORE, I DON'T WANT NO PIZZA THATS BEEN SAT ON A DIRTY SURFACE. Overall, if they had delivered to my door, the pizza couldn't have been better! Slept well and sound😀

I grew up in the ENY neighborhood and as kids we always argued who had the best pizza on Fulton st! (It was pizza wars) lol there were 4 main pizza joints down Fulton st in ENY... •Trinacria Pizza 2788 Fulton st & Van Siclen Ave 11207 •We called it Cleveland pizzaria 2957 Fulton st & Cleveland Ave 11208 •Caterina Pizza 3035 Fulton st & Essex st 11208 •Mikes Pizza 3337 Fulton st & Cresent st I was always on Van Siclen Ave so I was team Trinacria until the owner Frank's wife past away in the mid to late 90s. The store was shut down 4 a few day then reopened a couple days maybe a wk later. So frank took an offer in the early 2000s and gone out the restaurant buisness... I went to Caterina and had a 🍕 of life!! Me and my friend Jospeh stopped by for a quick snack; that quick snack became the regular for us... A 🍕 of life was introduced!! Even getting to know the creator himself Vinny! Vinnys always talked to his costumers and was very kind Italian guy with a smile on his face all the time. I also remember his wife or so I thought it was his wife... lol but she was very nice aswell. I loved that she had thos curly hair look all the time reminding me of my past. Overall the winner was and still till today is Caterina in 2018. Trinacria is now a chicken joint/pizza Cleveland pizzaria is noe a liquor store Mikes pizza still stands But as far as 6.5.2018 CATERINA WINS Take a trip and taste review for yourself! One of the best pizza in the neighborhood, everyone is always welcoming and the shop is always clean. I love that it's a hangout for kids as that's where most high schoolers build their memories, the pizza shop.

Caterina pizza was first started on sheppard and fulton. I used to go past that pizzeria when we'd go to play baseball at Highland park. Sal & Vito were working there as bus boys and eventually owned that location. As time went on they bought the place on Fulton st and they're still there. Every time I visit NY I have to stop buy and get my favorite pizza. God Bless Vito and Sal. Thanks for the memories.

The best pizza I ever tasted. I bought 3 different types of pizza and they were delicious. Marina pizza delicious. A slice that they don't carry but they made it for me, with ricotta, spinach and extra cheese, delicious. Also a regular slice and it had so much flavor. Usually pizzeria are so cheap with the sugar when you order zeppoli not here they drench with sugar and I didn't have to ask for more sugar. 100 out of 100 for me. And no they not paying me to say it. The only thing I didn't like is that they tell you one price and when you go to pay with your debit card they charge you extra because he stated the machine automatically charges you an 8 point Something charge. Never seen that in my life. The machine enters the amount you put in. The pizza was so good I would I didn't care afterwards.

When I lived in Brooklyn we always got a pizza from here. For the past 7yrs everytime I crave pizza I think of Caterina. My next visit to NY, Caterina, first stop!

The staff there are great hard working guys. I'm from long island so when we go to brooklyn this is our pizza joint. We have the fried calamari, and pizza. The pepperoni wheels are great. The picture that I posted is my left over pizza, I cant wait to have it. All meals are fresh. Definitely reccomend.

It's a local pizza shop that I have been going to for years. Always has great food. Be warned in the summer and after school it's becomes a hang out spot for teens to get a cheap meal, so your food might take a bit longer to get ready. They are open late Friday and Saturday night. The staff is super friendly and makes everything just the way you like it. They do deliver, but I usually order over the phone and walk over and get it.

Made a quick stop on the way home to eat-in with the family. Great pizza, owner is amazing (came out from behind the counter with toys for my girls when he saw the little one was crying and cheered her up). I've grew up in this pizzeria and have been coming here since 1993. It's amazing to see it's still being ran by the same caring owner.

Before I even tasted the food I fell in love lol the guy who answered the phone and took my order was so sweet and kind! He said it would be at my door in 45 mins it came in 20-25 mins !! I was not expecting it to come that fast. I got a chicken slice and all the flavors were spot on 10/10 recommend

Came from Miami and wanted that authentic New York style pizza. The meatball pizza was great! Also the calzone was good too. I'll recommend out of towners who are looking for pizza to just come here if you're in Brooklyn.

Lived on Arlington Ave for years. Joined the military and now live out of state. Recently visited Vito with my wife who absolutely loved the pizza. He was friendly and hospitable like always. Gave us t-shirts :-) In which I wear proudly and brag about Brooklyn pizza. Have been eating their pizza's since they (Vito &Sal) first opened in 1977 on Shepherd and Fulton. Pizza is still the BEST! Travel or Food channels should visit and do a story. Definitely a New York landmark!

I love Caterina pizza. My aunt introduced me to it as a child. Now in my 40's it's actually the same owner from since i was a kid still running the place which is probably a big reason why the food is so delicious and quality. He has to have been there for over 30 years. Matter of fact he has because I asked him one day and he told me so. The owner seems like he's from the old school when people actually cared more about presenting a quality product then about making a quick buck selling horrible food. Caterina pizza in my opinion actually taste better than some of these more popular big name franchises. If they had an option to give 10 stars i would.❤❤❤❤

I dont know if this is the same Caterinas pizza from 1977. The one I knew was on Shepherd Ave and Fulton St. I lived over Veruso Reality. That was back in 1978. Omg what memories. I have been going to this pizza place since I was in 3rd grade. It's as old school Brooklyn as you can get! Same Italian owner is still there after all these years being as funny as ever. Great pizza...but even better pasta dishes. Their chicken parmigiana is heaven (along with the warm Italian bread)! The portions are huge...easily enough food for 2 people. The fountain drinks... my favorite is the fruit punch...are sinfully sweet EXACTLY how I like it. Some argue that the pizza is the best in the entire area. I agree😋

When placing the order the person who answered was very friendly. Delivery man was also very kind and friendly. The food was very good! Garlic knots were big and flavorful. The chicken Parmesan was everything I expected and more! I def recommend and I will be ordering again.

Food is amazing, and the customer service is even better. The food is made with love. A definite staple of the community and my favorite go-to pizza place, with so much more to offer than just pizza. You won't be disappointed.

I've tried many famous pizza spots around NYC, but none like this one. Best pizza in Brooklyn around East New York. 100% recommended!!! It's tasty, cheesy, and crispy. I always order from this place and get a large regular and reheat leftovers 😋 The space is small for a sit down and a little run down, but It's always clean. Must try!

I’ve been coming here since I was in P.S. 108 - almost 30 years ago now! Vito has been great. The new guys are great, although I feel some ingredients are different, I can’t complain. I don’t order anything out of the ordinary - plain slice, pepperoni slice, chicken slice, mozzarella sticks, beef patties with cheese, etc. and I’ve never had any issues. It tastes great to me ! I recently started ordering a Greek salad with grilled chicken and it comes with like a red wine vinaigrette and I’m OBSESSED. Highly recommend.

This place is so friendly and I love their food. Wait time is always reasonable and usually short but even if it’s not I enjoy sitting down at the table and waiting because the atmosphere is easygoing and comfortable. Their calzones are my absolute favorite but their pizza is also probably one of the best kinds of pizza I’ve had in Brooklyn. They also take cards which is a plus for me since I rarely carry cash. I would come here everyday if I could honestly, and 5 stars doesn’t seem to be enough stars.

Just another pizzeria in New York that doesn't look any different from the rest they need to clean more because sometimes the tables have stuff on them the pizzeria is basic and needs to have a more unique look the pizza is okay but the flavor is always the same in every bite they need to improve their hygiene skills because honestly is not giving the vibe I RECCOMEND adding lights or something to make it more appealing the owner is apparently "Italian" doesn't really look like it I like how you can pay with Google pay and Apple pay but they need to improve some things overall ok pizzeria if your just hungry and need something to eat badly the sodas they taste like soap and they only have Pepsi 😭

Eh. I wasnt that happy with my order. The pizza pie was dry. Barely any tomato sauce and the crust tasted like it wasnt cooked thoroughly. The mozzarella sticks were ok and the marinara sauce for them was absolutely amazing. The zeppoli was very oily and tasted like it had seasoning in it oddly enough. Not sure if I will order from again.

Just isn't the same here. I knew the original owner/cook and he made the atmosphere awesome. I go in there once in a bluemoon, it feels dull atmosphere and the pizza doesn't taste at all the same. They also need to stop making it hard to purchase food if it's under $10. $10 minimum in order to pay by card. So I warn anyone just going there for a slice and maybe a drink. Bring cash. Their extra fees to make an extra dollar on top of charging for there tap machine is ridiculous.

It's neighborhood pizza. Not bad, not spectacular. Its good. The salads are made fresh and are tasty. My only complaint are the zeppoles...clearly made well ahead of time in large batches and kept in a large tupperware in back. Refried to warm up. Stale and hard to chew. The only thing "fresh" about them is the dusting of powdered sugar put on them before you pay. Gordon Ramsay would be appalled. I'll stick with a slice or 2 since this area of Fulton in Cypress doesn't have much else to offer.

Update while I do think the pizza at this establishment is great. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza special on New Year's eve and it was a disappointment. $28 for a large pizza pie that tasted disgusting 🤢 the cheese was hard, the buffalo sauce added to the disgusting taste of the pizza. The chicken is suppose to be crispy according to the description I got grilled chicken that tasted outdated. The pizza was inedible and disgusting 🤢

Caterina pizza is always my go to pizza when in Brooklyn. The pizza is usually pretty good ... Def more a 4 star in taste, delivery, and customer service! I always use the slice app for discounts and ease of ordering. Last night we order our norm, small pie with pepperoni and mushrooms, zeppoles, and 2 liter Pepsi. Upon almost a hour wait... OUR PIZZA ARRIVED...Starving from working all day, we couldn't wait to finally eat.... everyone knows the anticipation of hungry along with the wanting to have some comfort food from a long and sterenous day... Then Boom....The zeppoles were cold which any one knows it does not even taste good... it becomes greasy and hard... so you know who ate it.... yup the garbage pail! Now let's get to the pizza, it was cold as well and we were forced to reheat and pizza is never the same when doing so... that Pepsi was amazing COLD and we all know the best when it is the coldest! So of course, I reached for my slice app... from slice they sent me a email and it stated the following: Caterina Pizza 3035 Fulton St Brooklyn, NY, 11208 THANK YOU, CHRISTINE. Your food is comin’ in hot! Now you all see the above statement.. so the slice app customer service reached out and we was told the manager was so sorry about the coldness of our $35 dollar order but nothing they can do.... apologizes we will do better next time... The slice app repeatedly told me that they were so sorry and it was rather hard to do anything for me because their hands was tied! How they kept apologizing that this even happen to us and wish they could help due to this should have been resolved... with some type of discount or something.... anything... I never write reviews as anyone can see but this INFURIATED ME. I am a consistent customer of both Caterina pizza and slice... the lie in saying getting HOT PIZZA IT'S ON ITS WAY...I'm still waiting!

Multiple times now I’ve ordered a simple pizza pie and various times I was disappointed with a moist pizza that was destroyed inside the box. Had to get my money back more than once. >:|

The food I ordered was delicious and it was delivered hot and within 30 minutes.The only problem was that it was delivered by a very rude obnoxious man who was demanding that I give him a larger tip than what I had already given him.I was disgusted by his behavior and will never order from here again as long as he is employed there.

They attempt to overcharge you if you're not attentive to the menu prices.

Great tasting pizza and usually great service. I’ve been ordering for decades. Today I order a large pie, got the wrong order, and cold. I called back to tell them it was wrong and the person over the phone got irate and says “thats what I ordered because thats what he wrote on the paper”. I’m a vegetarian and I didn’t order meat on the pizza but thats what he said I ordered.

Waited 2 hours for delivery and never came. Didn't try to call back or help out or anything. Thankfully we got a refund.

Found a dead fly on my pizza as soon as I opened up the package, was immediately disgusted. When I went back to confront them about it, the owner was acting as if I put it there and didn't want to give me my money back. I will not be eating there again and I would advise you not eat there either.

Since Vito sold this place, the quality and taste of their food is not like Vito use to create. Pizza and squares are not very good. Very disturbing. I often ate during my lunch at Vito's But since Vito left, I don't eat pizza anymore.

This use to my goto place for a slice in the neighborhood but something has changed with the cheese on the pizza... I noticed it the second to last time I stopped by but I tried it again and it's definitely the cheese.

Vito is no longer there. Delivery service takes up to 2 hours, if you want to know the status of your order. While the pizza's are good the rest are not as good when Vito was there. I miss talking to him.

I had the worst delivery experience . I had ordered 2 pies for delivery and it never arrived. The first red flag was the rude attitude. The second was i had to call back twice to make sure they had my card info correct. They were being dismissive and stated that if the card info was wrong I had to pay cash. Last i had called them many times within 2 hours of placing my order to get an update. They only gave me excuses about the driver and i never got a call back. I called a last time with it being an hour after the place closed only to find out the delivery driver went back to the pizzeria with our food. We were only left with dishonest excuses and empty stomachs. They were very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this pizzeria.

Sad to say but the service here was horrible, despite the multiple reviews that say otherwise. Ordered pizza with my husband and his friends for delivery and we never received our order. Waited 2 hours and called the restaurant several times to get a status update, only to be met by rudeness and attitude from the delivery driver, who made multiple excuses regarding why our order didn’t arrive and even when my husband offered solutions to resolve the matter, there was still no way for us to get our pizza. I think what’s worse than this is that I am currently 7 months pregnant and I did not get to fulfill my craving. There’s way too many places in Brooklyn that have better pizza and service than this place, and I highly recommend that Caterina hires a better delivery person that can take accountability for their actions and knows how to do their job.

Order pizza here with friends and had an absolute nightmare. We called a few times about the status of the pizza that we had been waiting for for 2 hours. They couldn't get anything correct, card number, address, and even where the driver was for an eta only to find out the driver was headed back. Not to mention the attitude they had when we were able to get them on the phone. Absolute worst experience I recommend no one order here

Got a buffalo pizza delivered from here and i actually just had to throw out the whole pie it was that bad. Insane amount of oil and i couldnt even pick up a slice without everything sliding off. Sad, had to go buy something else. Ordered at 9pm 10/12 so whoever was making pizza that day clearly didnt give a shit
