At Euroasia Cafe, we're all about serving up hearty Eastern European flavors with a side of warmth and hospitality. Our unpretentious dining room is designed to feel like a cozy gathering spot, where friends and family can come together over traditional Russian and Georgian dishes. We've been praised for our authentic food quality, with customers raving about the rich flavors of our borscht and khinkali. Our attentive service team ensures that every guest feels at home, whether it's a first-time visitor or a regular favorite - like our signature Pelamushi chicken soup, which is a Brooklyn staple.

Delicious meal after a nice day at Brighton Beach. This is located at the last stop of the B express train and a short walk from the station. We don't have much experience with Euroasia food, but we loved it! The indoor space for this place is a bit small, but was here on a Sunday evening with no wait because they have tons of seating outside. Food review: - Borshch: really enjoyed this. IMO taste almost like a glorified tomato soup. Soup comes with sour cream, love adding this to the soup. - Khachapuri: we got free bread, so we thought getting this might be redundant, but wow did not regret this order at all! Love the cheese inside and when you eat it hot, it's especially soft & savory. I think this is my new favorite dish. Please get it when you come here! - Kebabs: we got the Lyulya, lamb, & beef. We all agreed that the Lyulya was our favorite, lamb 2nd, the beef was okay, just cause it was really tough & the first bite was juicy, but the rest of them was pretty dry. - Shrimp w. Buckwheat Kasha: the kasha was unique to us. Like a larger quinoa & a great and healthy carb alternative. Would definitely come again on our next trip to the beach.

I write this review with a watering mouth and the desire to eat more. I ordered a fresh salad with a grilled salmon. As I was eating this meal while listening the waves crash I almost heard Anthony Bourdain narrate how warm, exciting and delicious the food was. God bless this establishment.

Cozy place with big portions and cheap price for that. I miss Russian cuisine and in my neighborhood I can’t find any hint to Russian food. When I come here I go only to this place. Yeah prices are cheap so you shouldn’t expect luxury service or view, right? Personal is friendly, I have never had any problems with them. Hope you are doing well in pandemic. I stoped by once during pandemic, everyone kept six feet away and wore a mask. Thank you.

I always bring my family to this place every time I come to Brighton Beach. The service is excellent. The food is delicious at very reasonable prices. Been there at least 10 times and always feel welcomed, always leave full and warm. The waitress lady is super nice and always smiling. Street parking isn’t fast and sometimes even just impossible. Take uber or train. No parking. Very very friendly and good food.

The fried potatoes with mushrooms are so delicious I dream about them. They also have yummy salads, borscht, cheese pastries. I’m not a meat eater but I’m sure the meat dishes are good. But those potatoes and mushrooms….mmmmmmmm.

I stop by every time I'm in the area. This place has the best prices and the best food in my opinion. I've ordered a lot of different things here before and it always comes out 10/10. The waitresses are very nice and respectful. Strongly recommend this place if you're looking to try good Russian food.

Absolutely delicious in every sense of the word. This is middle asian food with a little borcht thrown in. Prices are low , however the quality is great. Shish Kebab, greek salad and hot bread to dunk in the soup or just a little butter. Bring your own and no corking charge, and I prefer to buy Georgian wine at the store one half block away Friendly and you will see Uzbek and Tajik and Ukranian and others of European persuasion and all enjoying a great repast. This are the foods of Samarkand and Tashkent Astana and Dushanbe! Small , but cozy. Clean restroom, and they waitstaff hustle to give good service. Always busy. The Manti is a 4 portion hot dumpling with meat that is too much for one. Two will be well satisfied. They have other soups from middle asia such as Lagman with meat and while I can attest to the authenticity of the cuisine,I cannot claim it without giving credit to my wife Nina. She introduced me to this great food.Go and you will not be disappointed. If you feel adventurous around the corner a block or so east is Tashkent the middle eastern supermarket. Explore it and you will be in awe. They have literaly dozens of well prepared and tasty foods to try to bring home and you will gain weight just looking and smelling the aromas.Somewhat lengthy but an honest review from a Brooklyn guy who is not just for Pizza and or McDonalds etc. Live a little and go outside your comfort zone. Cheers!! .

Experience being waved into a delightful new food experience from the streets of Brooklyn. I was just looking at the Menu from the window. Next I am whisked to a table and served dumpling and the best beef kebab I may have ever tasted. (and I’m in the food industry). The staff were incredible. The feeling was like going home.

Euroasia Cafe is amazing! The food is always delicious—my husband and I especially loved the kebabs and crispy potatoes with mushrooms. The achichuk salad tastes just like in Uzbekistan, and the portions are huge for the price. They serve both Russian and Uzbek dishes, and everything feels homemade. The service is incredibly polite and welcoming—zero attitude, just great food and great people!

We had lunch at the Eurasia Cafe. I think it’s run by a family. The service was warm and very good. As well the food. The Mantis were fresh and delicious. The greek salad enough for three people. I had lamb ribs. They were juicy and flavorful. Definitely a restaurant I will go back and I can recommend to anyone who appreciates good food and a warm family service.

They have the best shashlyk/kebab in the whole area! If ordering, make sure to get lulya kebab and lamb rib shashlyk with no fat! Make sure to ask for no fat ones, they are the best. Skip bread/lepyoshka, instead get manty. We ordered chicken tabaka, the sauce that comes with it is absolutely amazing! When done with food, walk over next door for the best desert cakes luke napoleon.

This place was incorrectly identified as the East European cuisine. Even though they offer some East European dishes, they are mainly known for their Central Asian cuisine. I have been visiting them at least twice a year. They never disappointed me. I tried their outstanding shish kebabs, lagman, manty and other dishes. Their staff always smiles, being polite, helpful and courteous. When it came up that I write reviews on Google, all waiters gathered around me, telling good things about their cafe. It appeared to be very genuine and sincere. In my last visit they delivered a generous quantity of the absolutely delicious tongue salad as an appetizer, then lagman, which is the thick soup with lamb/beef, vegetables and the hand pulled noodles, as well as two sticks of the lamb shish kebab with the special sauce and half of the local round bread called lepeshka or nan. All this, including a bottle of imported mineral water was priced around $23. If you are not sure what to order, ask one of their waiters. There are many restaurants in the Brighton Beach area to satisfy all tastes, this one stands out, if you like the Central Asian cuisine.

Great place!!! Highly recommend for everyone who wants to try russian cuisine at a low price. I’ve been here twice and everything we ordered had just perfect taste. There is small room inside so during busy hours could be hard to find a table and you have to wait. Menu is everything on one page which is very convenient to choose from and on both languages which make our parents able to serve themselves without our assistance. My only suggestion is to add kvas into menu ;)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars – A Hidden Gem by the Beach! 🌊🍽️ Euroasia on Brighton Beach is hands down one of the best local spots in Brooklyn. From the moment you walk in, the service is incredible — the staff genuinely go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, they treat you like family. The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach, and they’ve got all the little touches that matter — a clean bathroom, high chairs for kids, and plenty of seating for families or small groups. Now the food… wow. The chicken and fish kebabs are absolutely a must-try — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. Their fresh salads are also top-notch and pair perfectly with any meal. Everything tastes homemade and seasoned with love. It’s hard to find a place that delivers this level of quality and warmth at such a great value. A family of four can easily eat here — full meals and drinks included — for under $100. That’s almost unheard of these days. The whole vibe is cozy and welcoming, like you’re eating in someone’s home. Whether you’re stopping in after a beach day or making it your regular spot, Euroasia is a true neighborhood treasure. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great meal here. Super authentic place and it was my first time trying this type of food. We had the manti which was like a dumpling thing filled with some kind of meat, I think maybe lamb? Cooked and spiced to perfection. Same thing with the beef kebab. It tasted delicious. Maybe I’ll try something a little more adventurous for the next time but I was pleased with my food!!

No frills, just honest and delicious food that brings back the flavors of the Soviet Union. From hearty lagman to classic borsch, every dish feels like it came straight from a home kitchen. The pricing is very reasonable, making it easy to enjoy a full meal without breaking the bank. Service is efficient, friendly, and right on point. A great spot if you’re craving familiar comfort food done right.

This is my go to restaurant in Brighton for great Russian and Uzbek cuisine. The Manti and the Samsa are fantastic. I'm a fan of their rib kabobs. There's sidewalk seating in the warmer months. The service is great. I love coming here for some great home-style cooking after a day on the beach.

The food was so delicious and portions are huge. I’ve heard a lot about this place before but never been, and today, on Mother’s Day they were so kind to take us walk in. The place is super busy but service is on point. Waiters are very attentive but not annoying. Special thanks to Nadezhda for accommodating us on the very busy day. This restaurant serves Uzbek type food, the portions are ample sized, meat dishes are good, I preferred beef, it tends to be more tender. Compote is made with little sugar, so it doesn't taste too sweet, some people like it that way, to my taste it could be done better. Avocado salad was good, potato with mushrooms were good, they put garlic there, I like it that way too. Wait staff is nice, some are easy on the eyes, they leave you alone but they are always in the vicinity. I like this place.

I came here after my friends recommended and told me how much they love it, so naturally I had to go see for myself. It's a tiny hole in the wall. Maybe 10 tables? Nothing spectacular to look at as far as decor, etc. However, the food and the service were top notch!!!!! The waitress was so nice and friendly. It was like my grandma was serving me or something. Everything was super fresh. The prices were cheap. It's just a win win. If I lived close by, I would be getting food there on a daily. I'm impressed.

Kompot 4/10 has too much added water and not enough sour flavor. It just tastes like a not enough sweet water. Baked potato 6/10 is ok. It just needs more salt. Chicken kebab 9/10 Lamb kebab 10/10 Salad 8/10 Waitress service 8/10

I've been going to this Cafe a few times per years for several years and have always enjoyed the food and the service. I was there again today and I must let everyone know how much this Cafe has changed for the worse. The service was HORRIBLE. But I don't eat the service so I could live with that but the food was even worse. The Greek salad was rotten. The lettuce was wilted , the tomatoes were spoiled so I gave it back. I ordered a soup kharcho and it was ok. I also order a chicken kebab and it was garbage. The meat was from the worst parts of the chicken. I spot out half of it. The waitress and the other staff refused to take the salad off my bill. I paid them and will never come back. The place is disgusting. I'm sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

Food was great! The Beef tenderloin kabab was tender and juicy, and the Manti was deliciousz The Manti is sold at a great price for 4 huge pieces of dumplings. The one star is lacking due to the challenges some may have communicating with service as a couple of servers did not understand my request for a spicier sauce but I’m sure they are perfect if you speak their respective language. Everything considered, you have to give this place a try after a day spent at the beach as there are delicious meal served at reasonable prices

Since Varenichnaya closed. We came to this restaurant. The compote was on the bland side. Shurpa soup was like chicken soup from box. The positives about this place were the kebabs were decent sized. The turkish liver was actually cooked right. The Manti was tasty and meaty. The waiting staff was very polite. I would definitely come back for kebabs and Manti after a long day on the beach.

Have grown really fond of this cuisine and this place definitely hit the spot. Menu has a fair amount of options and I definitely enjoyed each of the dishes we ended up getting. Started with the pilaff. Probably my least favorite meat of the day but it was plentiful, so tender, and the rest of the rice dish were delicious. Huge portion. I'm such a big fan of manti and almost always enjoy them, but these were even better than most. Plump, juice, packed with meat. Enjoyed the sauce it came with, as well. Finally, lamb rib kebab and lyulya kebab were great. I preferred the latter and may next time opt for the ribs without the fat, but they were both still great. Service was lovely, you can tell they care about the experience. Felt like we were in someone's home eating a home-cooked meal. If we lived in the area we definitely would consider coming back.

A cheap comforting cafe with more than satisfactory portions. The only reason I am removing one star is because we had to sit outside in blistering heat with cars passing by - with no umbrellas shielding from the sun. There is a shaded 3 table area under a tarp, where is the rest of the tables are not shaded. Otherwise, the food was tasty, the portions were large despite the cheapest prices I have seen in some time. The lunch price of $11 consists of a soup and a small hot dish, which is pretty much the same price of a fast-food processed meal. Also, there is no service charge of 18% as it is in other places nowadays.

In the photo: borscht, mashed potatoes, lamb kebab, and vegetable salad without onions. The borscht is the best I’ve tried! Rich flavor, with pieces of beef and a slightly sweet taste — delicious. I’ve tried borscht in three other cafés before, and all of them had no meat, but this one tastes homemade. Didn’t really like the mashed potatoes, but the kebab was ok. Bread is nice too. Unfortunately they don’t have black bread to go with the borscht.

A
Akop Ayrapetov

“The dishes in the cafe—spoons, plates—are sometimes greasy. The kebabs can be a bit tough at times; it probably depends on who the chef is that day. It can also get fairly cramped. Overall, I’d rate it as a solid three out of five.”

5 stars for the service and Manti. 2 stars for the Lagman. The lunch special listed on the menu is no longer offered. All servers were efficient and extremely nice to senior customers...holding the doors for them/no rushing them out even when the place was packed. The Manti was very flavorful, full of soup, perfectly spiced lamb and onions, and the dumpling wrapper had the perfect amount of thickness. Unfortunately the Lagman was served lukewarm, tasted somewhat watered down, with noodles broken in tiny pieces. For a significantly better Lagman, get it at Kashkar Cafe which is a few blocks away.

L

Firstly, the posted internet pricing was extremely outdated. Example, greek salad was $13.95, kabobs were $8.95. The kebobs consisted of 5 pieces of meat on a bed of raw sliced onion with 2-3 sliced pieces of pepper plus sauce. This was a considerably sparser presentation than what was pictured on the menu posted on restaurant window. The lamb kabobs were flavorful but we found the chicken kabobs to be tough to eat. No bread came with the order of approximately $35. When presented with $40 cash, we were asked if we wanted change (which we thought to be seriously presumptuous). Instead of providing the correct change $4.76), we were given $4 with no explanation! Yeah I realize it's 'only $.75' but really? This is how you do business?

Food was really good, but the service and management from the staff wasn't optimal. We asked for a glass for 5 times and a pilaff for 3 times. We ended up not having a pilaff. One of the waitresses said "they don't have the dish" we asked for on purpose to get us out as soon as possible. They could have managed this small place efficiently and easily!

We stopped by on Sunday afternoon to have some lunch . Kharcho was good , that’s where my two stars go. The rest of our order was not good . To make pelmeni took them 30 min, chicken kebab and fried potatoes was uncooked . We sent it back to the kitchen . We won’t be back

The food was good, but the experience with the waiters were awful. They messed up our order and gave us wrong food, and tried to make us pay for the extra food with no explanation or apology. The waiters were nice and friendly in the beginning, but their attitude changed completely when we pointed out the mistake. A big disappointment.

The worst grilled chicken salad I have ever tasted in my life. Chicken was absolutely raw and tasteless while the price is much higher than it could be on Emmons ave restaurant where you can taste the most delicious grilled chicken salad. My friend and I were very disappointed. We tasted only few slices of chicken and felt nausea all evening.

I am disappointed! I was on my way home from work and asked the host to use the restroom facilities, and he said I have to be a paying customer. Okay, no problem, it’s NYC. I opted to buy a bottle of water and they overcharged me. Okay, fine again, I really had to go. But to act like my card declined when the woman didn't even tap my phone on the machine is ridiculous. My Apple Pay card was still on the screen waiting to be charged. All of this foolishness to use the facilities, which wasn’t even clean. Good luck expecting any human connection here.

Arrogant boss, forces his waiters to clean toilets and serve at the same time. Think about the hygiene now..

My original review got deleted. This place is not a four or five star joint. I wish I could leave it less than one star. I came there a month ago when indoor dining was still allowed. I ordered the tongue salad with horseradish, which was $10. For the money, you can expect the horseradish to be fresh and red, right? Mine was purple and pale, which meant it was very old. The waiters and waitresses in that place made it seem like they' were doing us a favor by serving us. There are many better and cheaper places in the neighborhood that serve a similar assortment of food, yet everyone at Euroasia acts like they're the BEST. The head waitress was very rude and condescending up to a point where I demanded the check in the middle of the meal and chose not to leave any tip whatsoever. Spare yourself the staff's attitude and go someplace else.

Went last night, and woke up at 4am to take turns with my partner throwing up in the toilet. Don’t eat here. Also, I watched a group of girls get harassed by a random man while they were enjoying a meal outside, and the two male waiters (all the workers tbh) did nothing to help or stop him from spitting on them. Didn’t say sorry or offer a discount either. But they did gossip about it next to my table so they were definitely aware of the situation. Food was good but I guess not sanitary based off the earlier reviews in the day. I should’ve checked before I came! 🤷🏽‍♀️ BTW, they mentioned their water filter wasn’t working (but it was, and they’re lying), so I had to pay 5 dollars for a water. Overall, we won’t be returning and recommend you doing the same.

August 18, 2025 we ate at "Euroasia" ordered Chilean sea bass. price was reasonable but the fish was old and needed their pomegranate sauce to be able swallow the awful fish. terrible service waitress not respectful. They lost my business

I really don't recommend this place because food is super overpriced, tastes like nothing, isn't even close to central asian cuisine. We ordered plov and manti. Plov was like a regular rice and meat, bland and tasteless. Manti had bunch of weird textured meat and was not eatable at all. They have good music and a place to sit outside. 3/10

I ordered first rolls as you can see at the picture had one bite and i couldn't you can smell the meat fat and is like raw no seasoning i just couldn't eat that but i didn't say anything waited for the Kebab, the Ground beef arrived first bite and LONG HAIR (see picture) coming out from the meat, i called the waitress she was like ohhh let me tell the chef and she proceed asking me (do you want to pay) i was like what do you want me to pay so she went and start calculating for about like 10 minutes to charge me whatever they want, going back and forth to the kitchen talking to the chef and then she come with bill $21 saying ok you can pay the rolls, the bread and the coke. She was like you did eat the rolls. anyway i don't mind paying what i ate but they just handled the situation like is something normal to go to the restaurant and find hair no big deal pay what you eat and walk out no apology on their attitude, they charge $5 for a coke and then the rest. so i paid $21 and that how i left my table not eating anything except some of the bread. I went from Queens to Brighton Beach to walk around and enjoy the day because i lived there long time ago so started with having lunch at this place because i saw people sitting outside so believed is good but those are just local people probably supporting local business. the food taste and quality really bad.

The service isn't bad, the waitress is very friendly, but the problem lies with the manager or the owner of the establishment, who treat customers rudely. So I don't recommend visiting this place if you don't want to leave in a bad mood.

Weird restaurant. We sat by the door and there were small space behind us but literally every single employee wanted to take out stuff from there and leave their clothes there. We had to stand up every 3 mins. What kind of service is that? Also, food quality and quantity were disappointing. The lamb dumpling smelled so much.
