Love this quaint little shop! Their sushi is always so yummy & fresh, and the owner is such a sweet lady. Dining in has a very homely vibe, and their takeout is always super fast. Definitely feel lucky to live near Sakura!

The best sushi place around. We have been regulars for years and have yet to find better sushi anywhere. The staff is excellent and always very welcoming. Great service and a great intimate setting. We will be back again soon.

Stop by today I don’t even eat falafel like that but decided to give it a try because I saw that it was under new management new ownership and let me tell you gonna be my new go to spot at least once a week. This place has the best falafel I’ve had in years! I’ve been looking for authentic flavor for so long and they nailed it. I came here a few years ago, and it’s clear the new owner has made everything better- the food, the atmosphere, and the customer service. A wonderful spot situated on bike route from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park. This is recommended for advanced fast cyclists due to traffic but a wide lane exists. That being said, this is one of the best falafels I have put in my tummy. Somehow low expectations always encounter something amazing 🤩. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside. However, the quality of the ingredients are top notch. I especially enjoyed the jalapeño & onions. But the special touch that brought it over the top was the cabbage & red beets. These last 2 toppings will add the POW 💥 POW to your pedals for speed. The portion is sizable & filling. Outdoor seating available & easy parking 🥇🥇

One of the best falafels I’ve ever tasted. Small location with limited seating inside, & a few table & chairs out front. Fresh ingredients, accompanied by a clean workstation I made my order as soon as the store had opened it’s doors, and nothing tasted like it had been sitting there from the day before. The spicy carrots are a must. Great staff, very clean store, all food is handled with gloves.

The restaurant is located in the Sheepshead Bay/Homecrest section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered the sushi bento box and the sashimi bento box. Both bento boxes were very good. The bento boxes included miso soup and salad with a choice of white rice or brown rice. The sushi box has four pieces of sushi and the sashimi box has five pieces of sashimi including one shrimp. The eel avocado roll was good. The restaurant is priced well. They also offer dining in with a server. Parking is easily available with an adjacent parking lot.

Had the sashimi bento box and enjoyed everything. Service was friendly and quick at lunchtime.

They were wonderful last summer when Jordan owned the place. Now, the food is still "good" but that's all. The sabbich I bought was on laffa that was tougher than cardboard. I will definitely give them another chance though, because the inside of the sabbich was good.

Never ever ever again. I had tried this place years ago and wrote it off when they gave me a pickled jalapeno on my yellowtail jalapeno (sushi appetizer). I decided to give them another try today. Worst mistake ever. I HAVE FOOD POISONING. Fevers, Vomiting, Chills, Diarrhea. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

The worst sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. I don’t understand how can they give this to a customer? You can see on photos, there was skin and brown stuff that belongs in the trash. I had to spit out with every bite! I’ve never had sushi this BAD! Sushi is not cheap, I will never come back to Sakura on avenue U. It was disgusting! Absolutely horrible experience! Money down the drain.

the food took 40 minutes after promised time to deliver, i called to ask when it would be here and they hung up on me, then when the guy finally got here he Banged aggressively on my door and was yelling. then when it got here the food was cold and unenjoyable

I never had a cold neon color falafel, spicy fries was super salty. We got falafel large platers, came with 2 cold pita bread, asked the guy at counter to heat the bread , he said we have no equipment to heat the bread in any shape or form. So disappointed, falafel had no taste whatsoever. Look around before you drive there
