Best place for pizza in the neighborhood. Opened since 1975 and run by an original Italian owner. Pizzas has high quality, size, taste and really low price. Forget Domino's and other big companies, this small business rocks them all.

Was once La Rosa's Pizza, back in the '60s when I was a kid used to love a slice. Still good and love that it's still like the old days with the to-go window in front! Love my old good!

It's all about the attitude. These guys have it. Lots of cheese, hot fresh pizza out of the oven. Would like to have a thicker dough but everybody's tastes are different. So 5 stars.

Love their pizza! Really great price for the size of their pizza! I always ask them to leave the pie in a little longer to add a nice little crunch on the bottom of the pie which makes the pie even more better! Also love that I can pay them through zelle! Major plus!!!

Man how I love that Family pizza. My mother and I would sometimes go there and eat their pizza and they taste great when its hot and ready. I also love the fact that its crunchy too. Not many would have it made so well. I highly recommend giving it a try.

We haven’t had much luck with good pizza in the Park Slope/Windsor area and we decided to give Family a try. Safe to say that we weren’t let down!! Ordered 4 pies and the came earlier than expected. Ty!!

The staff is so great here. We came in last night 20 minutes before close with a rush order on six pies and they were so kind and understanding, then crunched them all out in 30 minutes. They all came out delicious too! Like others said, fair pricing to put a pretty little bow on it all. I'll be coming back here next time that I'm in the area to show love.

Came in the recommendation of my girlfriend's friend. It was excellent. It's a classic NY pizzaria with barebones offerings, but the bones are solid. Calzone here is strong, not too bready, while also not insubstantial. Buffalo wings were good, but a tad dry. Pepperoni pizza was a classic NY slice from earlier times. It is cash only -&- well worth it.

Out of towner review: Great NY style pizza. We were visiting Brooklyn for the weekend and was looking for a good, local spot. A large cheese pie was $14, free delivery. Staff was super friendly, took about 35 mins delivery on a Saturday night. Enjoy!

This pizza shop has new owners. The slices are not as big anymore, however their pizza is still pretty good and some people swear by their pizza!

Very nice surprise. Delicious, perfect Brooklyn slice. It had the right amount of salt on the dough, it was thin but crispy enough that it didnt flop, but still soft. Just enough cheese and sauce, great ratio. Hell of a slice.

This is by far one of the best pizza places in Brooklyn if not NYC. The food is fantastic, service is quick and friendly and the prices are fair. You will not be disappointed with the food once you give it a try.

Best NY style pizza in the area. Really well done and affordable. I think they hit the right consistency of the crust in terms of how thick and crunch/chewy it is. It was definitely one of the few pizzas I've had in a while where I was looking forward to eating the crust after eating the slice. Highly recommended. Edit: I took off one star after some thought on the price. At 15.50 for a pepperoni, it's definitely on the higher end of takeout pizza. Mike's Pizza, by contrast, is a block away and cheaper. Taste is still great, but something to consider.

I got a plain slice with garlic knots just yesterday and I have nothing bad to say about their food. The pizza was great. The garlic knots had just enough garlic to make me want more than the four that I was given. Overall great experience. Just wish I was asked how many knots I wanted instead of having no choice.

While this isn't the best pizza in the borough of Brooklyn, it's certain a step above the rest for a no-frills local neighborhood joint. Compared to the dollar slices of midtown, for $2.75 you get a better regular slice in terms of quality and it's larger to boot. Support your local neighborhood pizza shop and grab a slice to go.

Delicious sausage and jalapeño pizza. Ordered twice from here when we’re in the area for a game night at our friend’s apartment. Now a favorite take-away for us. Be sure to request that the jalapeños be cooked with the pizza! It’s sooo much better!

Been going to this spot for almost 40 years but ever since Frank retired it’s not the same great service, decided to give it a try again, the staff was rather rude and acted as if they were obliging. We miss you Frank, will definitely not go again, pizza definitely not as great as in former years, no little crisp to the dough either

I have been coming here off and on since I was a kid. There was a time when it looked like a son was gonna take over the shop. But I have seen the original owner and his wife in the shop. Though not the man lately. So why 2 stars. Today I went in ordered two slices 2 go and saw a roach walk from the prep station to the pizza cooling /cutting station. Then I saw another. I just walked out the door.

Pizza didn’t have much flavor, garlic knots with no sauce on the side to dip in they were to dry, wings soggy the only good thing was the beef patty… :(

Looks like my husband's original review was removed. I'm going to say this last Friday night we ordered a pizza, the pizza had a half of a roach baked into it. When we called to inform them they didn't believe us, after I finished throwing up because I'm sure I hate half of a bug when we brought the pie and the insect back to the restaurant they we're not concerned, or apologetic it was jarring. I've known of this pizza store since I was a kid and growing up in the neighborhood and have always vouched for it because I believe in making sure old institutions keep going but Gino's is right up the block.

This place is robbing people. The prices on the menu are not the real price! My wife and I went in and ordered 12 mozzarella sticks, menu says $8.99 for 6 and $14.99 for 12. We also got 2 cheese slice, they cost $3.25 each. When we went to pay the total came to $32. That’s $10 more than what the menu prices said. I was then told their register has different prices than the menu. In the register 6 mozz sticks are $11 so they charged that twice and then 12 mozzarella sticks were $22. When the girl called the owner to ask what to do she was told that there is a disclaimer on the menu that says prices are subject to change without notice! When in reality they are hoping you don’t notice the jacked up price when it’s time to pay. Really liked this place but I will no longer give my money to a grimy business
