I hear it’s the only Guilin rice noodle in NYC. One of my favorite spots in Sunset Park

Guilin Noodle tastes very good. They even have IN CHA option for bubble tea. The bubble tea was ok, not the best compared to other bubble tea spots. Food was good though.

Authentic Guilin rice noodle flavor. I love it. The scallion pancake and braised beef is great. The lemonade is also very good. 😊

Their special noodle, gui lin noodle is one of the 2 dishes I order here. Place is near where I work and perfect when I don't have any leftovers for lunch. I thank my sister for telling me about this noodle spot. Their specialty is spicy food. Small place with limited seating, but I never had a problem coming in around 12 to 1 pm weekdays. Big amd yummy portions every single time. Huge menu, I have so many that I have not tried yet.

Been here for years, loved the food and the staff! One time I forgot to bring my wallet the store manager let me eat first and then my wife came in with the money almost an hour later, the store manager was totally okay with it. The best is the guilin rice noodle and fry intestine, kept up with the quality over the years. Highly recommended!

I have been eating the Guilin Rice Noodle they serve here all year long. It has become my go to takeout. I eat it at least once a week. The portions are generous already, but I like extra meat so I order that every single time and even with the added cost, it's still a great deal. They also have a pretty solid menu of bubble and fruit teas.

I’m from Guilin, I come here all the time,I enjoy the nostalgia brought on by their noodle. My favorite is no.1 Guilin noodle, and the spicy chicken with rice dish. I’ve tried Guilin noodle at several places, this place is definitely the most authentic one in the USA.

Hands down best matcha latte. Extremely large cup for only 6 dollars with tax. You can taste sweetness along with the rich matcha flavor. The employees are also very patient and friendly.

At this little shop, a beautiful and kind young woman prepared my fruit tea with a warm, radiant smile. I can’t seem to get her out of my mind. I truly hope life brings her endless happiness.

I am so glad that Taste of Guilin exists. My wife grew up eating Guilin Noodles in China and whenever she felt homesick, we would take a drive over to Taste of Guilin so she could relive some memories. Guilin Noodles is a very niche type of noodle dish even among Chinese in NYC. The service is order at the counter and pick up food when ready. They have 4 four tops and a 2 top in the corner for seats. The ambiance of the restaurant is that of a fast food take out restaurant. Wife and I each ordered Guilin Noodles ($10) with extra crispy pork ($2.50). Each dish was then $12.50. Not bad for a Friday night dinner and cheaper than Flushing's Chinatown. The vibe here is must more old school Chinese immigrants who are Canto speakers. We ordered two things 1. Guilin Noodles w/ extra crispy pork is a must order. Get a taste of authentic Guilin. You eat the noodles in two parts. Have some of the noodles with various types of prepared pork with some spicy oil that is offered at the table. I also recommend ordering sour preserved diced string beans with your noodles if you feel adventurous. After having enough of the dry noodles, add some soup to make a soup noodle. It transforms the remaining flavor of the dish completely. It's magical. The only con about them is that sometimes the noodles can be overcooked and they will stick to each other more, loose their bounce and might break apart before you can slurp them up. Hasn't happened often, but when it does, it's noticeable. 2. Also ordered a mango flavor fruit tea. Honestly didn't taste so great. Most of the flavor came from syrup and there didn't seem to be much mango in the drink. Hard pass unless you want something to wash down the spice from too much chilly oil. So unremarkable I don't even remember what I paid for it. Come in for affordable lunch or dinner. You can experience some noodle dishes from China that is not found anywhere else in NYC. If the owner's read this, please open up a shop in Flushing! 4/5

The stuff was super nice. She was very patient to answer my question. And give really good suggestion. The brown sugar boba milk is really good. The boba is perfectly cooked, sweet and chewy.

I came here with some friends and we tried #1, which is presumably the original Guilin noodle. The flavor was really good, but I have no idea what meat topped the noodles. The meat was really thin, but they were flavorful and the noodles were topped with sauce too. The noodles were too soft though and a bit too salty from the sauce, as they could have been chewier. They also gave us a side of chicken soup, which was plain but had real chicken flavor in it and it was hot. For $6.50, the noodles were actually a bit on the expensive side for Brooklyn Chinatown in my opinion for the quantity of food. They also use all disposable dishes (lots of plastic waste) and there were no English menus anywhere.

This is our favorite Rice noodles place before, but now their quality of the meat is not good anymore. They used waste part 😞 and if you asked for extra meat they give you fat . Better to eat pork oil which is same taste 🤮. Though, I understand they raised their price but hope the quality stay the same. 😒

I came in here and was immediately greeted by.. you guessed it, not the staff. But the staff on their phones in on their phones playing very intensively. I was served by two youngons and one had a very mean and entitled attitude. I asked for a milk tea and she literally screamed back my order to make sure. I ordered my food shortly after and when the food was ready, instead of them bringing it to my table they made me come up and get it myself. And I literally saw staff bring to someone else earlier. Hell is with this place. Never coming here again.

The professionalism and customer service performed by the cashier was dreadful. I made a pick up order for the pickled bamboo beef stew noodle soup and when I received my order, I realize the beef is not the one I use to have. I called for clarification and the cashier hear my order incorrectly. I asked if the restaurant can just deliver just the protein itself and I am willing to pay for the protein, delivery service, and tips. Unfortunately I have to travel to the restaurant for the 2nd TIME to remove the beef that was given mistakenly. The cashier DID NOT apologize nor did I feel any sincere apology when I arrived at the restaurant to repair the mistake made by the cashier. The worst part is that my noodle soak up my broth. Good luck to the person who receives the beef that was originally in my bowl because the restaurant owner took it out. It might be for the next customer who orders the sliced beef.

Trash. Menu for mango Pamela sago says M for $6.75 but they charge $7.50 . Cup is super small. 2 sips and you are done. How is this place still in business? Cash only. Never coming back . You can get a much bigger cup elsewhere for $5.50. If I want thirsty , I wouldn’t wasted my life at this dumpster.

Very basic taste, not authentic, not meat at all in a supposedly meaty dish 👎🏼

Trash. They messed up our company lunch. Told us we will give you credit for the order. Just to go back to the cashier argue in person that the kitchen is right. Waste of my time.

I recently visited this establishment, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The condition of the store and the quality of service were utterly disappointing. I ordered Guilin noodles and a drink and waited patiently. However, after 30 minutes, I inquired about my order twice. Initially, I was told it was being prepared, only to later learn that it hadn't been put down at all. This level of disorganization was frustrating, to say the least. Moreover, both workers were extremely rude and seemed visibly unhappy to be there, which further tarnished the experience. In stark contrast, the Guilin noodle restaurant in Staten Island offers significantly better service and quality. I strongly advise taking your business elsewhere. My friends, family, and I will certainly not be returning.
