Leon Bagels in Brooklyn is a great spot for a casual breakfast or coffee break. The coffee is excellent, rich and well-prepared, and the bagels are delicious, perfectly chewy and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a nice place to relax or catch up with friends. Definitely a spot I’d come back to whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

Recently spent a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon experiencing Leon’s. I heard it was highly recommended and they definitely delivered! Accessible by ordering via their window on Bedford street which is really cool, I had their staple Lox, 🥯 cream cheese, onions and capers on a toasted pumpernickel bagel. It was amazing!

First time here, and I loved it! The smoked salmon bagel was the best I’ve ever had. I also tried a plain bagel with cream cheese, and it was great. The latte was good too. Nice little spot to sit and eat. I’ll definitely be back!

Literally, the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! No inside seating. The two college kids behind the counter were friendly and the food came out quick. This place is a “must go”!

Very good bagels but a bit overpriced like every bagel place in nyc. I ordered everything bagel and lox cream cheese for $7 because adding lox would have been way too expensive so the cream cheese is a good alternative and the taste is quite strong. Service was very good. There are a few sits in front of the shop but no interior sitting available.

Let’s talk bagels for a second. I will not say that I am a master of knowing what might be considered a “traditional” New York bagel or New York bagel experience. But what I can say about Leon’s is that the quality of ingredients and service really shined through. I ended up getting a bacon, egg, and cheese on plain egg bagel. The sandwich was great! But what I really appreciated and observed was the quality of service I experienced and saw coming from whoever was running the register this day! Food quality is always important but so is service, and Leon’s is crushing it at both!

Cutest bagel shop to satisfy your NY bagel fix. This grab and go window was exactly what I needed to enjoy at Washington square park early on a Saturday morning with no line at 9am. I went for a BEC on everything and pumpernickel bagel with a generous amount of cream cheese. The vanilla iced latte was also fantastic.

Every time I have the chance to come to New York I immediately go straight to Leon’s Bagels! I love how kind and attentive when they take your order and ask how your day was! Their bagels are absolutely amazing and delicious! If you haven’t gone and tried their bagels you need to go asap because you’re missing out!!

Probably the best bacon egg and cheese m I’ve ever had. The bagel itself was absolute perfection and baked fresh, so no need to get it toasted. Only downside was they have very little seating so you’ll probably need to find somewhere to eat.

Leon’s gotta be the best Breakfast / Bagel / Breakfast Sandwich spot you can find in the city. I was just in town for two days and hit it both mornings. I got the bacon egg and cheese and hot coffee: I’m a big breakfast sandwich guy… not much of a burrito guy. So this was a great way to start the day. It was perfect. The bagel was soft, big, yet a lil crispy with a decent crunch on each bite with plentiful bacon. Plain bagel is the move, I promise. My wife got the egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I finished what she couldn’t which was only a couple bites. Also got the cinnamon raisin bagel with regular schmear. Epic. Don’t over think it: go to Leon’s!!

We were staying in Williamsburg and on the search for somewhere to grab lunch. You can’t sit in (takeout only!) but that suited us as our hotel wasn’t far and we were heading back anyway to get some shelter from the rain. The bagels had a very generous amount of fillings and our favourite was the lox and cream cheese bagel (salmon and cream cheese if you’re from the UK). It was delicious!

these bagels are certainly overpriced but damn are they delicious. if you’re going to pay >$10 for a bagel this is where you belong. they’re also huge. and they have gluten free bagels that aren’t half bad

If Apollo Bagels is a rocket ship, Leon’s Bagels is a three year old on a tricycle. Now while both modes of transport provides a means to getting from A to B. They do so in radically different styles. Leon’s bagels has smart branding, and merch that any transplant would be itching to get their hands on. Hell they almost convinced me at the register to get a hat without me even had tried the bagel! Now that’s good design imo. But for me, that is kinda where the excitement ends. I had read hundreds of reviews about their BEC and seen dozens of pictures of the infamous cheese pull. So I owed it to Leon’s to try it. My first qualm with the BEC is that it is with Cheddar Cheese and that’s the only option. The bagel comes with an almost excessive amount of egg and cheese to bacon ratio. I love cheese, but when melted, cheddar has a tendency to release all of its oils and creates a gritty texture. Making it a greasy mess to eat and leaving you feeling like you just ate something fried. I knew I made a mistake not just trying their cream cheese bagel, but gluttony got the better of me. Overall, if I’m going to Williamsburg and waiting in line to get a bagel, I’m going to Apollo until it gets dethroned. But that hasn’t seemed to happen yet.

Mid at most. Bagels aren’t that great, employees somewhat lethargic. This is the Aime Leon Dore of bagel places, overrated sorry luv. They move the line fast, and the prices are actually not as high as you’d expect for a place with this aesthetic. I’ll give them another chance though, will come back and try the BEC everyone leaving reviews about.

I love Leon bagels! The coffee and the bagels are excellent. The crust on the bagels is particularly delicious and the coffee tastes fresh. The service however, is absolutely atrocious, it rude and unpleasant. The employee in the picture can’t bother to say hello, good morning, thank you & she just scours at you when you order!
