Was Kunden über Medusa The Greek sagen
Medusa The Greek is praised for its great food, friendly staff (Patricia, Declan, Melissa), and lively atmosphere. Customers love the traditional and modern Greek dishes, especially the halloumi and chicken shawarma. Some delivery orders and gyros have disappointed.

Hidden GEM alert in Park Slope! This spot offers high quality authentic greek food. I’m obsessed with this spot and will never get sick of there food. Everything is packed with flavor and reminds me of the food I had back when I traveled to Greece. So impressive and the service is amazing. I highly recommend the tuna tartare and the red snapper. Just incredible dishes and you can’t go wrong with any of their cocktails!
Fantastic food. Had the lunch special and the quality of the food and portion size was elite for the price. Service was also top notch. Definitely one of the gems of the neighborhood
I came in Friday night, and I really enjoyed my time here. The food was delicious, and my server, Tony, I believe, based on my receipt, did a fantastic job. He comped my friends' birthday desserts and was also interactive with us throughout our time spent!
Medusa the Geek, is a great location to sit, eat, drink and talk. I went on a Monday at the atmosphere was still lively. Host were welcoming and knowable of the menu. The food was good BUT trying American food from a Greek restaurant is a no,no. The Mac and Cheese, had a twist and I would advise, don't do it. Unless you want to try something interstate and new. Food and drinks came out quick. There wasn't a large amount of people but people were still coming in to sit and take out orders were flying out !!! Ill be back
Very pleased with my dining experience! The food is great - offering both very traditional Greek menu items along with some edgy and modern Greek dishes for a unique menu. The level of care from the staff was also exceptional. I dined with a party of six and we felt extremely valued as guests. I look forward to dining there again!
We ordered delivery from this restaurant, and given delivery tends to mean you lose a bit in temperature, texture, etc, our expectations were low, but wow! Everything was so good! Definitely looking forward to eating in person sometime.
If Zeus opened a brunch spot in Brooklyn, it would look suspiciously like Medusa the Greek. We sat streetside, basking in the Park Slope breeze and the quiet confidence of a place that knows its halloumi is going to ruin you for all future cheese. Starters? Cypriot Halloumi: salty, squeaky perfection. Grilled Octopus: tender enough to make Poseidon weep. Even the pita, yes, the humble pita, showed up dressed to impress. Drinks? Greek soda and coffee, both excellent. The soda had that nostalgic fizz that makes you believe in summer again. The coffee? Bold enough to file your LLC paperwork for you. Mains? Loukaniko & Eggs: smoky, savory lamb sausage, and somehow both brunch and a declaration of independence. Greek Lamb Gyro: the kind of wrap that makes you question your loyalty to any other protein. Greek fries: crispy, herby, cheesy and clearly seasoned by someone who’s been through heartbreak and come out stronger. Service and Ambience? Declan was warm, attentive, and just the right amount of chill. Sitting outside felt like being part of a Mediterranean street scene, minus the mopeds and existential poetry. Final verdict: Medusa doesn’t just serve food. It serves a lifestyle. One bite and you’re halfway to citizenship.
Had a lovely time here tonight, great food and service - we split a spicy feta dip, and chicken shawarma plate between 2, and had a few tasty all day happy hour drinks — special thanks to our server Declan, who’s friendly attitude and good spirit was an absolute delight and really made the experience. We’ll be back!
Had a delicious and memorable dinner here for Valentine’s Day! The spanakopita was so flavorful and crispy, and the chicken shawarma platter with lemon potatoes was generous and well-seasoned. We got to meet one of the owners and a nice touch was the host offered to store my flower bouquet upright for me during our dinner. Will definitely be back!
The brunch here was pretty good especially as a person who loves a good bottomless. The food was super tasty and the drink were cute too, we got a note from some regulars when we were there and they told us to ask for the drinks before you’re done so you get the best of the bottomless time! Good vibes good energy would go there again!
I ordered my lunch from this Greek restaurant and went for the moussaka, a classic Greek casserole made with layers of eggplant, meat, and creamy béchamel. It was incredibly rich, flavorful, and came in a huge portion — so large that I couldn’t even finish it in two meals. Absolutely delicious, but definitely on the heavier side. The meal also came with a Greek salad, which was very fresh and topped with feta cheese (though I’m personally not a big feta fan). I additionally ordered lemon rosemary roasted potatoes, one of my all-time favorite Greek sides. They were perfectly lemony, aromatic, and roasted — and honestly, potato can never go wrong. If you love Greek food, definitely give this place a try. They have a wide variety of options, and everything tasted authentic and satisfying.
We were wondering around Park Slope after running some errands and we stopped by this place called Medusa. I gotta be honest, the decor was not really inviting and the lighting was quite overwhelming, the layout of the tables were a little weird however we decided to give it a try. Our server was super welcoming and that is one of the reasons why we decided to stay. We ordered pretty quickly and our server was very knowledgeable, giving recommendations here and there and she was very patient. I don’t remember her name but we when on a Sunday, she was the only female server working, please kudos to her cause she did such an amazing job! We ordered the Chicken platter (with the lemon potato) and the Lamb platter(with sweet honey Brussel Sprouts), with some spicy feta. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! The food was worth it, the lamb was very tasty, the brussel sprouts were glorious with that brilliantly added honey, and the chicken was marinated and cooked to perfection, without mentioning how tasty the potatoes were, that citric flavor gives it a really fresh touch. The spicy feta was really taste although it could’ve been a little creamier but it was good enough! Please if you stop by this place give it a chance cause the service and the food is really good. Although as a piece of unsolicited advice, and I know I am sounding very entitled but just want to say it, please consider editing some of the decor inside, I see the concept, I see your idea and I love it, but at some point all the ideas get lost, and everything becomes a rainbow where every color is competing to show which one is the brightest. I love the mermaid skeleton hanging but the jelly fish right next to them defeats the purpose… I love the mural of Medusa as a statue cracking and revealing a new Medusa… That’s amazing! That should be the center of attention but it gets lost because there is so much going on. The lighting is too much, the entire place feels flat, like one note, with the correct light you can play with the geometry of the place and make it even more interesting. Imagine what you can do with a more interesting place + the amazing food you already offer ! But again, this is just a thought from a random costumer. Thanks for everything!
We love this place, the decorations all around, the food, and the outdoor seating*. We come here often late at night after work. I have even brought a colleague here during the lunch shift, which was a totally different (yet still great) experience. I love that Patricia knows us and immediately knows what we want unless we decide to shake things up. She is such a lovely, charismatic woman with great advice on all the food and drinks. Don't hesitate to ask her for help deciding! *Outdoor seating has changed a few times since we first started coming here. It still looks quite nice - better, even - but they downgraded from two large overhead heaters to only one. Expect your legs and feet to go numb over time if you're dining outside on particularly frigid days/nights for longer than 10-15 minutes. We actually prefer to sit in outdoor seating, but if there were heated flooring or at least heaters near where people's legs are, it would be top tier. (HINT, HINT ;D) Over the years, we have tried MANY things from the menus. These are just what I can remember off the top of my head: -Cheeses (Cypriot halloumi, Greek saganaki). -Dips and spreads (tzatziki, beet hummus, Medusa guac). -Sides (gigantes, lemon potatoes, spinach rice, Greek fries). -Share plates (Greek mac, grape leaves, falafels, spanakopita). -Eggs & Burgers (Greek Shakshuka, Medusa Burger). -Platters & Meats (halloumi, falafel, moussaka, carne asada steak frites, etc). -Desserts (every style of loukoumades (tiny donuts). -Drinks (Espresso martini / donutini, caipirinha, mojitos, margaritas, several different cocktails, and coffee). Our absolute favorites (and what we typically come back for) are the Greek mac & cheese, the Medusa guac, any of the Halloumi dishes, loukoumades, and of course we always wash it down with either the espresso martinis or the donutinis. Three things to note: Speak up if they forget something or if they're busy & you need service (or else you might be waiting awhile - which doesn't bother us at night but can be problematic during the day). We have received the guac without the pomegranate seeds, loukoumades without the nuts, donutinis without the donuts, and the Halloumi dishes without the fig jam, but simply make them aware and ask for it. They will fix the issue. They also have a rewards program partnered with places like Miti Miti, etc. You can ask them about it or check it out on their website. :)
First thing first, if you are going for lunch, do that all-day menus portions are huge. We had the spread platter meatballs, greel salad with salmon and grape leaves mind you there was just two of us. Nonetheless, food was good. Also, we did have sangria it could've been stronger, but the vibe was there. It was a nice vibe.
We got two gyros and sadly we did not like them. At first I thought it wasn’t tasty in terms of flavor, but then as I started to take more bites, I realized it’s really hard to chew some of the filling, and when I examined the chicken it appeared to me to be undercooked. The kitchen did take a look and said it is fully cooked, but still… to me the meat was sort of glossy and feeling jiggly so I wasn’t comfortable eating the rest of it. The owner did apologize and took the dish off the check, so I do appreciate that.
Hello. I just had delivered via uber eats baby lamb chops and four asparagus. An entire baby lamb chops meal is three baby lamb chops ,you’ve only sent me two. I know it sounds ridiculous but trust me I am quite disappointed about this and you’d be too if you were in my place. You had made me wait for over an hour for this meal and cheated me on the portion. I payed $52 dollars for this meal. I’ll add a picture here for everyone to see. It’s not my first time ordering baby lamb chops from you and I know exactly how the order looks like and how much food should be. This delivery itself deserves 1 star.
Ordered from this place from Uber eats and the food was an absolute disappointment. The salad and the eggplant looked NOTHING like the picture . I mean they charged me $24.20 for half of a sad eggplant barely stuffed with anything and the salad was literally romaine Lettuce with some chunks of cheese thrown in there. Not to mention the poor packaging that leaked through the bag and messed up the rest of the items and my front door mat. Wouldn’t recommend, at least don’t get delivery!!! I added pictures of what they show on the app vs what I got…
